Abstract

Perhutani continues to improve the quality of pine sap harvest through the coakan method and the innovation of containers right under the sap drips. However, the quality produced is still less than optimal. Based on this, a pine sap container based on a filter was made that can improve the quality of the harvested pine sap. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the pine sap container based on variations in filters and inclined planes on the tapping gutter. The study was conducted using an experimental method to obtain the mechanical advantage parameters of an economical pine sap container that can increase the productivity of the tool's performance based on the concept of an inclined plane. Testing was carried out in the laboratory to design and measure the mechanical efficiency of the tool, and field observations were continued to evaluate the quality and productivity of the pine sap produced. Data collection was carried out by systematically measuring the mass of sap, the angle of inclination of the gutter, and the mechanical parameters of the tool. The experiment showed that the largest mechanical advantage parameter value was found in the tapping gutter with the largest angle of inclination, namely 70°. In addition, this tool, with an innovative filter-based design and optimal angle of inclination, has been proven to improve the sap quality and minimize dirt and water pollution. The results of this study indicate that the developed tool is effective in increasing the efficiency of harvesting and the quality of pine sap, which is in line with the research objective to optimize the process of collecting pine sap. The tool produced by the researcher is a semicircular bowl-shaped container equipped a lid that can prevent dirt and rainwater from entering so that good-quality sap is obtained. This tool can improve the quality of sap with a higher purity level while producing harvesting efficiency of up to 25% compared to traditional methods, so this innovation has the potential to be an effective solution to increase the productivity of pine sap harvests sustainably.

Abstract

Open pine resin containers in the form of coconut shells and plastic bowls cause the quality of pine sap to decrease, and it is difficult to obtain premium quality, because of the ingress of dirt. The impurities are in the form of leftover twigs, dry pine leaves, grass, soil, and gravel. In addition, when the wind easily releases the coconut shell because the binding is not strong enough with the pine tree. The shell’s pores are finally easily eroded by rain due to the sawing process. Open containers (without covers) are very susceptible to producing less pure pine sap because they are mixed with impurities that fall into the container. They will be difficult to decompose if the dirt is small because the impurities can easily pass through the filter. This study aims to determine the perception of the usefulness of a container tool based on filter variations on the quality of pine resin harvesting. The study was conducted with a quantitative descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire technique that was given to users, namely pine farmers. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics, namely calculating the average of the results of the questionnaire recapitulation. The study results showed that the community agreed that the farmers can use the innovation of a pine sap container based on a sieve in harvesting pine sap. The tool has good durability, is easy to maintain, is easy to use, practical, effective use, ; is safe, is easy to store, does not produce waste, and has excellent benefits and functions. The impact of using this tool is that Perhutani no longer needs to look for tools, and the quality of the pine sap harvested with this sieve-based pine sap container is no longer in doubt. With good quality harvested pine sap, the income of the pine sap farmer community has increased

Abstract

Kemampuan pemecahan masalah merupakan keterampilan abad ke-21 yang penting dikembangkan, khususnya dalam pembelajaran fisika. Namun, pembelajaran fisika di sekolah cenderung menerapkan metode ceramah dan teacher centered learning, sehingga siswa kurang terlibat dan mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah di kelas yang menggunakan model Team Games Tournament (TGT) berbasis eksperimen pada pembelajaran fisika. Penelitian menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu. Penelitian berlangsung di SMP Negeri 1 Kalibawang pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025.  Data dikumpulkan melalui pretest, posttest, observasi, dan angket. Pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian melalui uji N-Gain dan t-test. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa ada peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam pemecahan masalah melalui model Team Games Tournament (TGT) berbasis eksperimen. Hal ini didukung dari perolehan skor N-Gain (67%) pada tafsiran cukup efektif serta hasil t-test pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 menghasilkan nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu 9,939 > 2,021 sehingga Ha diterima. Data observasi menunjukan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada setiap indikator. Sebanyak 75% siswa juga memberikan respons positif pada kategori cukup terhadap model pembelajaran.

Abstract

Research on the application of the TGT type cooperative model using the wordwall application in improving student learning outcomes is motivated by the low student learning outcomes in physics material. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the TGT type cooperative learning model using the wordwall application in improving student learning outcomes. This type of research is quantitative with the research design True Experimental design and data collection methods, namely the pretest-posttest control group design. The selection of samples using random sampling technique took samples consisting of 2 groups, each group consisting of 29 respondents, namely the experimental group class VIII B and the control group class VIII C at SMP Negeri 2 Mojotengah. Research shows that students who get the application of the TGT cooperative learning model using the wordwall application have better learning outcomes than conventional learning. This is shown from the results of the post[1]test assessment of experimental class students who obtained an average score of 61.62, while those in the control class obtained an average value of 46.03. Furthermore, in the N-Gain test it is known that the increase in the experimental class is higher than the control class and through the effectiveness test states that the class that gets treatment is more effective than conventional learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berangkat dari urgensi penguatan literasi membaca dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di tingkat sekolah dasar, mengingat masih banyak siswa yang mengalami kesulitan memahami teks, termasuk siswa kelas V MI Ma’arif Panawaren. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mengkaji implementasi model pembelajaran LOK-R, (2) menganalisis kemampuan literasi membaca siswa sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model, serta (3) mengukur efektivitas model LOK-R dalam meningkatkan literasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas V. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes hasil belajar, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Model LOK-R diimplementasikan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing meliputi tahapan literasi, orientasi, kolaborasi, dan refleksi, dengan penggunaan media yang lebih variatif pada siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan literasi membaca siswa setelah penerapan model LOK-R. Rata-rata nilai siswa naik dari 54,54 (pra-siklus) menjadi 63,53 (siklus I) dan 72,72 (siklus II). Ketuntasan klasikal juga mengalami peningkatan dari 45% (pra-siklus) menjadi 72,73% (siklus I) dan 90,91% (siklus II). Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa model LOK-R efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi membaca siswa. Dengan demikian, model ini dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di tingkat SD, khususnya untuk mengatasi kesulitan siswa dalam memahami teks.

Abstract

The rality that occurs in the field is that the ability to understand physics concepts is still weak. This can be seen frpm the teacher only using learning in the classroom only teaching abstract physics. Therefore, an appropriate learning method is needed so that learning objectivites can be achieved. This study aims to improve the ability to understand the concept of physics by applying the SSI approach. The research method used experiments with experimental classes and control classes as samples determined using random sampling techniques. Data analysis techniques using t-test, and N-Gain test, data processing assisted using SPSS software. The results showed that there was a difference in impoving the ability to understand the concepts of physics, namely tcount 7,40 > ttable 2,045 and hand a significant value of less than 0,05. The N-Gain Score of the experimental class is 0,74 with a high category, while the control class is 0,19 with a low category. Therefore, the application of the SSI approach can improve the ability to understand student’s physics concepts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural yang terdapat dalam buku teks Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti Kelas VIII SMP karya Tatik Pudjiani dan Bagus Mustakim cetakan tahun 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode analisis isi. Data primer yang digunakan adalah isi buku teks, sedangkan data sekunder berasal dari artikel jurnal yang relevan. Fokus kajian meliputi nilai-nilai multikultural seperti toleransi, kesetaraan, keadilan, dan humanis yang terintegrasi dalam materi pelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku ini secara konsisten mengangkat nilai-nilai multikultural melalui pendekatan tematik, historis, dan kontekstual. Nilai toleransi ditemukan dalam Bab 2, 5, 6, dan 8; nilai kesetaraan dan keadilan muncul dalam Bab 5 dan 9; sementara nilai humanis tampak dalam Bab 1 dan 3. Buku ini juga mendukung pembentukan karakter siswa melalui rubrik reflektif seperti Aku Pelajar Pancasila, Inspirasiku, dan Mari Bertafakur. Meskipun demikian, ditemukan beberapa kelemahan seperti kurangnya eksplorasi nilai-nilai lokal dan isu kontemporer yang relevan dengan realitas generasi Z. Kesimpulannya, buku ini merupakan sarana potensial dalam membentuk peserta didik yang berwawasan multikultural, toleran, dan berkarakter inklusif sesuai semangat Kurikulum Merdeka dan Profil Pelajar Pancasila.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan metode permainan bahasa untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa kelas ll MI Ma'arif Kaleber. Metode penyelesaian cerita digunakan sebagai metode permainan bahasa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan merekrut siswa di kelas dari kelompok usia tertentu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian pretest and posttest. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari sekelompok siswa sekolah yang dipilih secara acak. Dalam penelitian ini dibentuk kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen. Kelompok kontrol mendapatkan pembelajaran tradisional, sedangkan kelompok eksperimen mendapatkan metode permainan bahasa melalui story kit. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes membaca sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil studi dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif dan uji-t untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode permainan bahasa dengan melengkapi cerita berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan membaca siswa kelas ll MI Ma'arif Kalibeber. Kelompok eksperimen menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada hasil tes membaca dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Metode permainan bahasa ini memberikan siswa pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif dan menarik sehingga meningkatkan motivasi dan minat membaca mereka.(Tarigan, 2015) Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi guru dan praktisi untuk mengembangkan metode pembelajaran menggunakan permainan bahasa untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa kelas ll MI Ma'arif Kaliber. Abstract

This study aimed to develop Powtoon animated videos for STEM-integrated physics learning and assess their impact on student learning outcomes. The Research and Development (R&D) method, using the ADDIE model, was employed to systematically develop and evaluate the instructional media. The study involved five phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. During the analysis phase, needs were identified based on observations of students' difficulties in understanding abstract physics concepts and their disengagement from traditional teaching methods. The videos were developed to integrate scientific, technological, engineering, and mathematical (STEM) concepts, focusing on simple machines such as levers and pulleys. Expert validation was conducted to assess the quality of the videos, and revisions were made accordingly. The implementation phase involved a pretest-posttest control group design with eighth-grade students from SMP Negeri 2 Watumalang. The experimental group used the STEM-integrated Powtoon videos, while the control group received traditional instruction. Data were analyzed using a t-test and N-Gain to measure the improvement in student learning outcomes. Results showed a significant improvement in the experimental group’s post-test scores, with an average N-Gain of 66.95%, categorized as moderately effective. The control group had a lower average N-Gain of 49.22%, categorized as less effective. The findings demonstrate that the Powtoon videos not only enhanced students' conceptual understanding but also increased their motivation and engagement in physics learning. These results suggest that integrating STEM principles into instructional media, such as animated videos, is an effective strategy for improving learning outcomes in physics. The study recommends expanding the use of such multimedia approaches across other STEM-related subjects to foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students.

Abstract

This service activity aims to improve teacher competence in writing scientific articles according to Sinta-accredited journal standards. Using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, this program involves a partnership with the Wonosobo Science MGMP in intensive training and mentoring. The focus of activities includes improving understanding of the structure of scientific articles, from writing abstracts to compiling bibliographies using Mendeley. The program results showed a significant increase in teachers' motivation and writing competence, as evidenced by producing five articles successfully submitted to Sinta 2 and 3 accredited journals. Participant satisfaction surveys showed overwhelmingly positive assessments, with most responses in the excellent and sound categories. The success of this program highlights the importance of intensive mentoring in teacher professional development, particularly in the aspects of research and scientific publications. Recommendations for future program development include expanding coverage, strengthening institutional collaboration, and developing a digital platform to support program sustainability. This program has the potential to have a long-term impact on the quality of education through improving teachers' research and publication capacity, instilling confidence and optimism in the audience.
