Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk membahas Masjid sebagai pusat pendidikan Islam di Solok Selatan, dengan fokus pembahasannya sejarah dan perkembangan Masjid  60 kurang aso. Masjid ini berperan signifikan dalam mengembangkan pendidikan agama Islam di Solok Selatan, khususnya di Nagari Pasir Talang, Kecamatan Sungai Pagu. Melalui pendekatan sejarah, artikel ini mengungkapkan bagaimana Masjid ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai tempat ibadah saja, melainkan sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang mengajarkan nilai-nilai Islam kepada masyarakat setempat. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi atau penelaah dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini penulis peroleh menunjukkan bahwa masjid 60 kurang aso sebagai bukti peninggalan sejarah pendidikan Islam di Solok Selatan. Masjid 60 kurang aso dibangun pada abad 17 M. salah satu penggagas masjid 60 kurang aso yaitu syekh maulana sofi.  Praktik pendidikan Islam yang dilaksanakan dalam masjid 60 kurang aso yaitu tarekat naqsyabandiyah, ajaran tarekat ini dikenal dengan kegiatan suluk. Fungsi masjid 60 kurang aso pada masa sekarang ini tetap sebagai tempat ibadah, MDA dan Pengajian ibu-ibu, tempat sentra adat, pusat sumber belajar bagi seluruh pelajar dan mahasiswa, dan tempat wisata religi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tentang pemanfaatan video media audio visual untuk meningkatkan motivasi anak usia dini dalam menghafal Al-Qur’an. Adapun metode yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi pustaka atau library reseacrh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan dari berbagai sumber seperti artikel ilmiah dan buku serta sumber relevan yang berkaitan dengan topik penelitian yang sedang diteliti. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa media audio visual memiliki pengaruh dalam meningkatkan semangat dan minat anak-anak dalam menghafal Al-Qur’an. Hal ini perlu dilakukan upaya yang berkelanjutan agar dapat mewujudkan hasil yang maksimal.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of family resilience during the Covid-19 pandemic, especially from the perspective of Islamic education. So, research and development are needed to increase the resilience of character families. This research aimed to identify how the profile of family resilience with the Character of an Islamic education perspective during the Covid-19 pandemic in the family planning village and how the characteristic of family resilience with the Character of an Islamic education perspective during the Covid-19 pandemic in a family planning village that is valid, practical, and effective. The method used was research and development with qualitative and quantitative data approaches. The results were obtained through research on the Character Family Resilience Profile and Character Family Resilience Module. The family resilience profile based on the Islamic Education Perspective was characterized by five characteristics: Nationalism, independence, Mutual Cooperation, and Integrity as well as a character family resilience module during a pandemic in the KB village, which had been developed through a self-evaluation process, validation with five validators, one-on-one evaluation process, small group evaluation and extensive group evaluation resulting in a very valid, practical and effective module.

Abstract

This study investigates the satisfaction levels of Thai students from Pattani enrolled in four public universities in West Sumatra, Indonesia. Using a quantitative descriptive method, the research evaluates perceptions of academic service quality across five key dimensions: tangibles, reliability, empathy, responsiveness, and assurance. Data were collected from all 29 Thai students actively enrolled at Andalas University, UIN Padang, UIN Batusangkar, and UIN Bukittinggi through an online Likert-scale questionnaire. The findings reveal overall high satisfaction levels, with variations across institutions: Andalas University scored the highest (4.14), followed by UIN Bukittinggi (3.98), UIN Padang (3.97), and UIN Batusangkar (3.74). While most students expressed positive perceptions, areas such as service convenience, speed, and infrastructure emerged as needing improvement. The study highlights the importance of continuous service evaluation and culturally responsive practices to enhance the academic experiences of international students in Indonesian higher education institutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi integrasi Al-Qur’an dan sains dalam pembelajaran Matematika di MTs Quranic Scientia. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada tiga aspek utama: strategi guru dalam mengintegrasikan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an ke dalam materi Matematika, bentuk penguatan konsep numerik berbasis ayat, serta model evaluasi dan refleksi nilai yang diterapkan dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi ayat dilakukan melalui tahapan pembuka spiritual, penguatan konsep, dan refleksi nilai, dengan penekanan pada keterkaitan antara konsep bilangan dan makna spiritual. Evaluasi tidak hanya bersifat kognitif, tetapi juga diarahkan pada refleksi nilai melalui jurnal digital dan diskusi. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan perangkat ajar dan evaluasi nilai yang terstandar agar praktik integrasi nilai Qur’ani dapat diimplementasikan secara sistematis dalam pembelajaran Matematika.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how religious moderation values are innovatively integrated into the school curriculum, identify implementation strategies and challenges, and analyze their impact on students’ religious attitudes at SMAN 8 Sijunjung. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, documentation, and focus group discussions (FGDs) involving eight students, three teachers (Islamic Education, History, and Indonesian Language), two homeroom teachers, and the school principal. The findings reveal that moderation values are integrated across multiple subjects through contextual content on tolerance, interfaith dialogue, and social diversity. Implementation is strengthened by reflective teaching methods, teachers' exemplary attitudes, and the principal's leadership in promoting interfaith programs and inclusive cultural activities. Despite challenges such as limited pedagogical support and resistance from some parents, the integration of moderation values has shown a positive impact on students' religious attitudes—making them more open, inclusive, and dialogical. These findings underscore the urgency of mainstreaming religious moderation systematically through curriculum design, instructional practices, and the overall school culture.

This article aims to analyze the legacy of Islamic education at the beginning of its entry in the archipelago, analyze the surau tradition in inheriting Islamic education and analyze the pesantren tradition in inheriting Islamic education in the archipelago. The research method used in this study is the historical method. Surau and pesantren are traditional educational institutions that have long been rooted in the Muslim community in the archipelago. Both institutions have played an important role in maintaining the heritage of education in Indonesia. Surau and pesantren not only teach religious sciences, but also moral values and noble character. The teaching methods in surau and pesantren are holistic, emphasizing the balance of knowledge, morals, and spirituality. In addition, these two institutions are also the basis for the regeneration of Muslim scholars and intellectuals. Although there are now many modern Islamic educational institutions, surau and pesantren still exist because of their ability to adapt to the times without abandoning their traditional values. The maintenance of surau and pesantren is important to maintain the intellectual heritage and wealth of Islamic treasures in the midst of modernization. Optimizing the role of surau and pesantren in Islamic education is needed, among others, by revitalizing the curriculum, improving the quality of teachers, and economic empowerment. Thus, the heritage of Islamic education is maintained while being relevant to the needs of contemporary society. This article provides a comprehensive overview of how the surau and pesantren traditions are not only the protectors of Islamic values, but also the glue of local culture and the support of adaptive Islamic education in the face of changing times.

Abstract

Salah satu aspek afektif dari mempelajari Geografi adalah memupuk kepedulian peserta didik terhadap lingkungan, mengembangkan sikap melindungi dan tanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan hidup, dan mengembangkan kepekaan terhadap permasalahan dalam pemanfaatan sumber daya alam. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara pemahaman belajar Geografi terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan peserta didik pada materi Lingkungan Hidup dan Kependudukan di kelas XI SMAN 2 Tambang, Kabupaten Kampar, Provinsi Riau. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode analisis regresi linier sederhana. Sampel dalam penelitian ini ditentukan secara total sampling dengan besaran populasi 228 peserta didik. Data pemahaman belajar dikumpulkan dari nilai hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi Lingkungan sebagai Habitat Berkelanjutan dan data sikap peduli lingkungan dikumpulkan melalui angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman belajar Geografi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan peserta didik dengan nilai F hitung dari F tabel (313.100 3.88) pada taraf keyakinan 0,05. Persamaan regresi yang dihasilkan Y = 19.315 + 0.765 X, dimana pemahaman belajar Geografi berpengaruh positif terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan peserta didik dengan Koofesien Determinasi 0.581, artinya pemahaman belajar Geografi memiliki pengaruh sebesar 58.1% terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan dan 41.9% dipengaruhi variabel lainnya. Pengaruh postif artinya peningkatan hasil belajar Geografi berpengaruh terhadap meningkatnya sikap peduli lingkungan peserta didik. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pembelajaran geografi tidak hanya membentuk aspek kognitif, tetapi juga aspek afektif yang berkaitan dengan perilaku lingkungan peserta didik

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to analyze tolerance education policies and their integration into the curriculum of Islamic educational institutions in Muslim-minority areas: Phnom Penh (Cambodia), Hat Yai (Thailand), and Mentawai (Indonesia). Highlighting good practices in tolerance education is essential to strengthen Islamic education and counteract negative stigmas of Muslim minorities as intolerant or extremist. Design/methods/approach – Employing a mixed-methods approach with a cross-sectional design, this research prioritizes qualitative methods supported by quantitative data. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), documentation, and questionnaires. Findings – Tolerance education is implemented contextually, shaped by each country’s socio-political environment. In Cambodia, it is promoted through harmonious intergroup relations, a flexible curriculum, and state support, particularly from the monarchy and the Mufti’s autonomy in developing Islamic schools. In Thailand, private Islamic schools implement tolerance by aligning with the royal education framework, encouraging interfaith student interaction, and emphasizing Islamic teachings as rahmatan lil 'alamin. In Indonesia, state madrasas incorporate tolerance education systematically through national programs like Religious Moderation. Research implications/limitations – The findings underscore the importance of context-responsive educational policies to foster social harmony and prevent early signs of intolerance. This research is limited to specific regions but offers transferable insights. Originality/value – This study contributes original insights into how tolerance education can be effectively embedded within Islamic education curricula in minority Muslim contexts by adapting to local policies and cultural dynamics, fostering inclusive Islamic communities based on principles of mercy and coexistence.
