Abstract

Improvements in information technology have given rise to the phenomenon of using e-learning systems in education. However, the success of e-learning implementation is highly dependent on user acceptance. This research identifies factors that influence tertiary students' interest in using e-learning in Indonesia, by focusing on self-efficacy and subjective norms. By involving 116 respondents and analyzing data using PLS-SEM, this research shows that around 41.5% of the variability in interest in using e-learning can be explained by self-efficacy and subjective norms. The findings show that subjective norms have a greater influence than self-efficacy on interest in using e-learning. These results reinforce the importance of subjective norms as a major factor in e-learning acceptance. This research also highlights the need for further research to understand additional factors that may influence interest in using e-learning in the future.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to design a user-centered interface for a web-based E-Zakat application to support the digital management of zakat and sadaqah by Mosque Prosperity Councils in the Industry 5.0 era. Design/methods/approach – The research adopts a user-centered design approach in developing the application interface. A usability evaluation was conducted using the Heuristic Evaluation method to assess the effectiveness, efficiency, and user experience of the designed interface. Findings – The results show that 80% of the interface design elements did not present any usability issues. However, two indicators were identified as cosmetic problems, indicating minor improvements are needed in future iterations. Research implications/limitations – This study is limited to interface design and usability evaluation using heuristic methods, without involving extensive user testing. Future research can expand by incorporating empirical user testing and system implementation to validate real-world effectiveness. Originality/value – This study contributes to the digital transformation of mosque financial management by providing a user-centered interface design specifically for E-Zakat systems, enhancing transparency, efficiency, and accessibility in managing zakat and sadaqah.

Abstract

Bank Sampah Perumahan Sapta Pesona RW 08 Bekasi City has waste weighing data that is still limited to administrative records and has not been optimally used to identify waste characteristic patterns. This study aims to Cluster waste data based on quantity/tonnage and unit price using the K-Means algorithm. The research method used Cross Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM). The dataset consisted of 810 waste weighing records from January 2024 to December 2025 with item type, quantity/tonnage, and unit price attributes. The number of Clusters was determined using the Elbow Method based on the Sum of Squared Error (SSE), while the Clustering results were evaluated using the Silhouette Coefficient. The results show that the data were grouped into three Clusters with a Silhouette Coefficient value of 0.7844, indicating a strong Cluster structure. Cluster 0 represents waste with low to moderate tonnage and unit price, Cluster 1 represents waste with low tonnage and high unit price, while Cluster 2 represents waste with high tonnage and low to moderate unit price. These results help managers understand waste data characteristics more systematically

Abstract

In worship facilities such as mosques, electrical energy is frequently wasted due to lighting systems that remain active for extended periods, especially in restrooms and ablution (wudhu) areas. This condition is influenced by inconsistent usage patterns and limited user awareness in switching off lights after use. Despite these challenges, the application of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in such environments is still relatively minimal, mainly due to insufficient technological literacy and budget limitations. The Internet of Things (IoT) refers to a network of interconnected electronic devices capable of exchanging data and communicating through integrated systems. Motion detection is commonly employed to identify human presence, with the Passive Infrared Receiver (PIR) sensor being one of the most appropriate choices for this purpose. This sensor is widely recognized for its effectiveness in remote monitoring applications. This study aims to develop an IoT-based automatic lighting control system utilizing motion sensors to support energy efficiency and create an environmentally friendly environment. The research methodology includes requirement analysis, system implementation, and testing phases. The hardware realization, combined with programming using the Arduino IDE platform, successfully implements the automatic lighting control logic as designed. The system integrates PIR and ultrasonic sensors, and experimental results demonstrate that it is capable of accurately detecting objects within a defined range and responding rapidly and reliably to human movement.

Abstract

The rise of digital invitations has transformed how people create and share event information, with many platforms now offering online invitation services. One such platform, which serves as the object of this study, provides invitation catalogs through its website but faces issues related to user interface (UI) design and inefficient template selection that negatively impact user experience (UX). This research aims to redesign the interface of the digital invitation platform to enhance usability and user satisfaction by applying the User-Centered Design (UCD) method. The study followed the four stages of UCD: (1) understanding the user context, (2) specifying user requirements, (3) designing solutions, and (4) evaluating the design. The context analysis identified two primary user groups—engaged couples and general users. In the requirement specification stage, low-fidelity wireframes were developed to visualize preliminary design ideas. The solution design stage produced high-fidelity prototypes with more refined visual elements, including colors, typography, icons, images, and interactive components such as buttons and navigation using Figma. Finally, the evaluation stage was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The results indicated that engaged couples achieved a SUS score of 84, while general users scored 83.5. Both results fall into Category A (Excellent), suggesting that the redesigned interface is highly usable, easy to learn, and provides a satisfying user experience. These findings highlight the effectiveness of the UCD approach in optimizing digital platforms, particularly those aimed at event and invitation services.

Abstract

Abstract Communication needs is crucial due to the progress and development of data communication technology that is growing rapidly. In meeting the needs of data communication technology must be wise in choosing an Internet Service Provider (ISP) which we will use. Using two or more ISP can be the solution to meet the needs of the internet at the Office. Load balancing is one of the routing techniques can take advantage of some of the ISP to be used simultaneously or if other ISP backing up each other down or troubled. However, there are a variety of methods that can be used, one of which is the method Per Connection Classifier (PCC). PCC can be used to classify the traffic connection through router mikrotik into several groups. So that the router will remember the path that passed early traffic connections and on subsequent packets that are still associated with the connection will initially passed on the same lines as well. Based on the research results show that the proposed load balancing techniques make the burden of traffic on each ISP or gateway will be in balance so that the bandwidth usage for more efficient and capable of accelerating the network connection the Internet. In addition the proposed techniques help network connection failover internet connection problems occur in order not to fail or a link down on one of the ISP. Keywords: Failover, Load Balancing, Per Connection Classifier, Routing Abstrak Kebutuhan komunikasi sangat penting seiring dengan kemajuan dan perkembangan teknologi komunikasi data yang semakin berkembang pesat. Dalam memenuhi kebutuhan akan teknologi komunikasi data, administrator jaringan harus bijak dalam memilih Internet Service Provider (ISP) yang akan kita gunakan. Menggunakan dua ISP atau lebih dapat dijadikan solusi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan internet. Load balancing merupakan salah satu teknik routing yang dapat memanfaatkan beberapa ISP untuk dapat digunakan secara bersamaan atau saling membackup jika ISP lainnya down atau bermasalah. Ada berbagai metode yang dapat digunakan, salah satunya adalah metode Per Connection Classifier (PCC). PCC dapat digunakan untuk mengelompokan trafik koneksi yang melalui router mikrotik menjadi beberapa kelompok, sehingga router akan mengingat jalur yang dilewati diawal trafik koneksi dan pada paket-paket selanjutnya yang masih berkaitan dengan koneksi awalnya akan dilewatkan pada jalur yang sama juga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknik load balancing yang diusulkan menjadikan beban traffic pada masing-masing ISP atau gateway seimbang sehingga dalam pemakaian bandwidth lebih efisien dan mampu mempercepat koneksi jaringan internet. Selain itu diusulkan pula teknik failover yang membantu koneksi jaringan internet agar tidak terjadi koneksi gagal atau link down pada salah satu jalur ISP. Abstract

Abstract Tourists usually visit several places at once in time all the attractions of a visit in different location. One of the problems faced by travelers to reach the goal is the nearest path searching to a number of tourist objects. One of the algorithms used to solve the problem of line search algorithm is the nearest branch and bound. This algorithm describe the node as a point of tourist objects and lines as paths. Nodes and lines are given the values and weights for the calculation, so that from a couple of combinations and possibilities, the smallest obtained value is the closest path value can be reached. The recommendations of this line makes it easy for travelers to obtain tourism information in West Java for visiting different objects. Keywords: branch and bound algorithms, tourism object, search path, branching & bounding, graf Abstrak Wisatawan umumnya mengunjungi beberapa tempat sekaligus dalam waktu sekali kunjungan ke objek wisata yang letak lokasinya berbeda-beda. Salah satu masalah yang dihadapi wisatawan untuk mencapai tujuan adalah pencarian jalur terdekat ke sejumlah kunjungan objek wisata. Algoritma yang dapat digunakan untuk memecahkan masalah pencarian jalur terdekat adalah algoritma branch and bound. Algoritma tersebut menggambarkan simpul sebagai titik objek wisata dan garis sebagai jalur. Simpul dan garis diberi nilai dan bobot untuk perhitungan, sehingga dari beberapa kombinasi dan kemungkinan, didapatkan nilai terkecil yang merupakan nilai jalur terdekat yang dapat ditempuh. Rekomendasi jalur ini memudahkan wisatawan memperoleh informasi objek wisata di Jawa Barat untuk mengunjungi beberapa objek wisata yang berbeda-beda. Abstract

Abstract Supported technology development with the development of software or hardware that is increasingly going forward will be much helpful in facilitating decision-making. Sometimes in doing decision-making still do not subjectively based on criteria which should be specified. As an example of the educational units of the current difficulty in decision making the selection of the students Excel in school, that is because still use conventional means which allow the existence of a subjective assessment. Hence the need for a system which can help in making decisions objectively based on the criteria specified to determine the best students. Decision support method used to determine the best students namely Hierachy Process Analytical method (AHP) using five criteria, i.e. the value of the report, the list of attendance, spiritual attitude, social attitudes and skills. In making this application, using the PHP programming language to manipulate data in the database and build the Application Programming Interface (API) and Javascript to process data on the side of the user interface and uses MySQL as the database. This research has succeeded in designing a decision support system is the selection of the best students who objectively and accurately by the method of Analytical Hierarchy Process web-based. The result of the decision support system showed that of the 10 selected alternative, alternative 7 (A7) getting the best students ranked first with a value of 0.184, next is an alternative 5 (A5) with a value of 0.170. Keywords: AHP, Decision Support System, Selection Of The Best Students Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi yang didukung dengan perkembangan software maupun hardware yang semakin maju akan banyak membantu dalam mempermudah pengambilan keputusan. Terkadang dalam melakukan pengambilan keputusan masih dilakukan secara subjektif tidak berdasarkan kriteria-kriteria yang seharusnya ditentukan. Sebagai contoh dari satuan pendidikan saat ini kesulitan dalam pengambilan keputusan pemilihan siswa berprestasi di sekolah, hal tersebut dikarenakan masih menggunakan cara konvensional yang memungkinkan adanya penilaian secara subyektif. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya suatu sistem yang dapat membantu dalam pengambilan keputusan secara objektif berdasarkan kriteria-kriteria yang telah ditentukan untuk menentukan siswa terbaik. Metode pendukung keputusan yang digunakan untuk menentukan siswa terbaik yaitu metode Analytical Hierachy Process (AHP) dengan menggunakan lima kriteria, yaitu nilai rapor, daftar kehadiran, sikap spiritual, sikap sosial dan ketrampilan. Dalam pembuatan aplikasi ini, menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP untuk mengolah data di database dan membangun Application Programming Interface (API) dan Javascript untuk mengolah data di sisi user interface serta menggunakan MySQL sebagai database. Penelitian ini telah berhasil merancang sistem ini pendukung keputusan pemilihan siswa terbaik yang objektif dan akurat dengan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process berbasis web. Hasil dari sistem pendukung keputusan menunjukkan bahwa dari 10 alternatif yang dipilih, alternatif 7 (A7) memperoleh peringkat pertama siswa terbaik dengan nilai 0,184, selanjutnya adalah alternatif 5 (A5) dengan nilai 0,170. Abstract

Abstract Analysis and design of information systems is performed to identify the company's needs in the management of data and information of the transaction the company's operations. Analysis and design of it will be used to build a new system that has been integrated and can answer problems–problems encountered. Activity analysis and design method using this Waterfall. With the information systems are expected to facilitate the activities of production, inventory management and purchasing company. Information systems also minimize data loss and human error (huuman error) that often occur due to processing and storing transaction data is done manually. The results of the analysis of the needs of the company will be documented using the unified modeling language. Keywords: Desktop, Information System, Waterfall Abstrak Analisa dan perancangan sistem informasi dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan perusahaan dalam pengelolaan data dan informasi transaksi operasional perusahaan. Analisa dan perancangan ini akan digunakan untuk membangun sebuah sistem baru yang telah terintegrasi dan dapat menjawab permasalahan–permasalahan yang dihadapi. Kegiatan analisa dan perancangan ini menggunakan metode Waterfall. Dengan adanya sistem informasi diharapkan mempermudah kegiatan produksi, manajemen persediaan dan pembelian perusahaan. Sistem informasi ini juga meminimalisir kehilangan data dan kesalahan manusia (huuman error) yang sering terjadi karena pemrosesan dan penyimpanan transaksi data yang dilakukan secara manual. Abstract

Abstract A lot of number of brands and types of laptops in the market with different types of specifications and price could make the consumer difficult in choosing an appropriate laptop according his/her needs. Therefore, a research was employed in determining the type of laptop with decision support method using Simple Additive Weighting. In the process, the calculations done in advance by the election of alternative types of laptops and the criteria used. Assessment criteria comprised of price, hard drive, RAM, processor and VGA after determining the criteria, followed by the decisive importance of the assessment criteria and determine the suitability of an alternative rating against each of the criteria. From rating a match then the decision matrix is obtained, followed by determining the normalized matrix. The last stage, namely determining the rank of each alternative. From the results of the calculation method of Simple Additive Weighting retrieved results alternative laptop was chosen based on these criteria above. Keywords: Decision Support System, Selection Laptop, Simple Additive Weighting Abstrak Banyaknya merk dan tipe laptop yang dijual di pasaran dengan berbagai jenis spesifikasi dan variasi harga dapat membingungkan konsumen dalam memilih laptop yang sesuai dengan kebutuhannya. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada maka penelitian ini mencoba membangun sistem pemilihan laptop dengan menggunakan metode pendukung keputusan Simple Additive Weighting. Dalam proses perhitungannya terlebih dahulu dilakukan pemilihan alternatif jenis laptop dan kriteria penilaian yang digunakan. Kriteria penilaian terdiri dari harga, hardisk, RAM, prosesor dan VGA. Setelah menentukan kriteria dilanjutkan dengan menentukan penilaian tingkat kepentingan kriteria dan menentukan rating kecocokan alternatif terhadap setiap kriteria. Dari rating kecocokan maka diperoleh matriks keputusan, dilanjutkan dengan menentukan matriks ternormalisasi. Tahap terakhir yaitu menentukan perangkingan setiap alternatif. Dari hasil perhitungan metode Simple Additive Weighting diperoleh hasil alternatif laptop yang sesuai kriteria Kata kunci: Pemilihan Laptop, Simple Additive Weighting, Sistem Pendukung Keputusan
