Abstract

Some factors affect student's low understanding of learning material such as the rare use of instructional media as well as the lack of alternative learning resources. Therefore, we carried out research and development of e-Modules based on experiential learning on environmental pollution material for junior high school. The research used ADDIE framework, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The study covers the subject of water, air, and soil pollution. The theoretic feasibility of the e-Modules obtained through validation by the material and media validators. The validations were done twice and reach a value of 86.15% for the material aspect and 85.71% for the media aspect (both are in the very valid category). The practical feasibility of the e-Modules was measured through the perception response of educators (85.38%), in one-on-one trials (85%), small group trials (84.16%), and large group trials at SMPN 30 Merangin and SMPN 3 Kota Jambi (85.76% and 85.12% respectively). All result of the questionnaire was in the excellent category. The result of a large group trial obtained a Cohen's Kappa coefficient of 0.499 with a significant value of 0.000. Based on Kappa interpretation table, the value of 0.41 to 0.60 (a quite strong category). The e-Module based on experiential learning on environmental pollution material is appropriate for junior high school teaching material.

Abstract

The background of this research is dependence the learning process by students to teachers and the lowers score of physics. There is some factors of that such as students can not doing independent study and the less of material in the school. The purpose of this research and development find out expediency the develop, practice and effective of interactive multimedia. This research and development using ADDIE models develop design. The technique of collecting the data by using questionnaire and multiple choice question. The analysis technique of this research using qualitative and quantitative method. Based on the results of validation develop multimedia doing by expert are valid and can be trying, while the result of response of the teacher got 90,7% in the excellent category, the result of response of the students try out one by one got 92,44% in the excellent category, the result of response of the students try out in a small group got 90,5% in the excellent category and the result roomy and effective try out got 58,96 in control class and 72,92 in experiment class.

Abstract

Analysis of the needs of teachers and students states that learning required teaching materials that utilized multimedia as a learning medium that could be accessed on cellphones (laptops) and laptops. This study is aimed to develop learning media in the form of inquiry-based digital chemistry books on acid-base titration material. This type of research is a research and development study using the ADDIE model. The subjects in this study were chemistry teachers and students of class XI Mipa 1 in SMA Plus N 2 Banyuasin III. The instruments used to collect data were in the form of questionnaires, interviews, and daily logs. From the results of media validation, material validation and learning design validation state that this digital chemistry book is suitable for use in acid-base titration material. The results of the assessment of two chemistry teachers on digital books were stated to be very good with the kappa test obtained a value of 0.814. In the one-on-one trial, it was 86.67% feasibility, and in the small-group trial it was 95%. Chemistry digital books on inquiry- based acid-base titration material are appropriate for use in chemistry learning and are expected to be applied in learning to improve students critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari proyek penelitian pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis argumentasi untuk membantu meningkatkan kemampuan argumentasi peserta didik dalam mata pelajaran kimia. Sementara itu, erdapat pula penelitian lain yang telah mengembangkan model pembelajaran, bahan ajar dan kumpulan soal argumentasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan e-modul, kelayakan e-modul berdasarkan persepsi konsep dan praktisi, serta keefektifan e-modul yang dikembangkan sebagai bahan ajar berdasarkan pola argumentasi Toulmin. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development), dengan menggunakan kerangka ADDIE. Uji coba produk dilakukan di SMA Negeri 5 Kota Jambi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi konseptual oleh ahli materi dan ahli media mencapai kelayakan dilihat dari persentase skala interval yang meningkat dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil kelayakan praktisi berdasarkan respon guru kategori sangat baik dan siswa dari kedua kelompok dengan hasil uji korelasi nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,003, maka terdpat korelasi, kemudian intaclass correlation coefficient adalah  sebesar 0,629 dalam kategori “tinggi”. Uji keefektifan dilihat dari rata-rata N-Gain score untuk kelas eksperimen adalah sebesar 43,7387 termasuk dalam kategori “kurang efektif”. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dilihat dari hasil belajar dengan nilai Sig. (2-tailes) adalah 0,000 < 0,005 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar kelas eksperimen (menggunakan e-modul berbasis pola argumentasi toulmin) dan kelas kontrol (menggunakan e-modul tanpa pola argumentasi toulmin).

Abstract

Dynamic assessment, which is supported by scaffolding, consists of questioning, prompting, cueing, and explaining. Scaffolding is considered as an effort to overcome learning problems which present in the concept of buffer solution as well as in the Project-based Learning, which aims to improve students' science process skills. This study aims to investigate the implementation of scaffolding to improve students' science process skills about the concept of buffer solution. Data were collected using in-depth interviews and analyzed using the Delphi technique. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be seen that the ideal scaffolding widely used was the questioning and the prompting. This was because the students only needed to be guided to solve the problems using the most appropriate assistance to overcome the issues. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the scaffolding was able to help the students to overcome the problems that occur during the learning process. The implementation was also able to improve the students' understanding and skills of the science process about the concept of buffer solution.

Abstract

The technique of providing learning support in a structured manner to encourage students to learn independently is called scaffolding. This consists of four types questioning, prompting, cueing, and explaining. This study aims to describe the procedure for developing scaffolding in inquiry-based learning that is beneficial to improve students' science process skills in the concept of acid and base solution. The heuristic method in the type of F2-O3-S1+S5+S6-A3 was used in this study to develop the design of the scaffolding. The data were collected using an interview and analyzed using a Delphi technique. Based on the expert validation, it was seen that the scaffolding technique designed was suitable for use. The results of the student trial also showed that the scaffolding technique was effective to be used to improve students' science process skills. It can be concluded that the scaffolding technique on inquiry-based learning was able to improve students' science process skills in the concept of acid and base solution.

Abstract

This study aims to develop student worksheets (LKPD) patterned claim, data, warrant (CDW) on human respiratory system material and find out how teachers respond and student responses and the effect of using LKPD on student argumentation ability. The development model used in this research is addie development model consisting of 5 stages, namely analysis, planning, development, implementation and evaluation. The development of this LKPD uses due diligence based on expert validation of materials and validation of media experts, as well as teacher response and student response. Data analysis techniques used are qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of both validators state that LKPD is worthy of testing. Furthermore, the results of the teacher's response also stated that the LKPD is feasible in the trial with a score of 93%. Then the results of the odd and even group student response were obtained from kappa test of 0.673 with high category and correlation test of 0.806 with very strong category. This means that the two groups of students have been in touch and agreed to state that LKPD is worthy of trial. In conclusion, students can understand the problem of claims, data, warrant (CDW) arguments judging by the score of the paired sample t test of 0.000 which means that there is an influence of the use of student worksheets (LKPD) on students' argumentation ability. Abstract

This study aims to find out the effectiveness of product collection of items about argumentation pattern claim, data, and warrant against the arguments of students in the subjects of biology respiratory system material at SMA IX Negeri 2 Jambi City. This research uses ADDIE model (Analysis, Desaign, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data collection methods used in this research are interview methods, questionnaires, and tests. The results showed the development of a collection of questions in sma negeri 2 jambi school with 10 questions and 6 respondents who gave pretest and posttest questions, then got a pretest result of 1.23 and a posttest average score of 3.75. Based on t paired test sample t tests obtained sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000< 0.05 then H0 rejected and Ha received, there is an influence on the collection of points of argumentation on the ability of students argumentation in SMA Negeri 2 Jambi City. In conclusion, the product of a collection of argument-patterned claims, data, and warrants (SDW) developed influenced the argumentation of students in the subjects of respiratory system material biology at SMA IX Negeri 2 Jambi City. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan prosedur pengembangan dan hasil produk; 2) mengetahui penilaian guru dan respon siswa terhadap produk; serta 3) melihat ketercapaian peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa setelah menggunakan produk. Produk E-LKPD dikembangkan mengikuti kerangka model ADDIE dan diimplementasikan di SMPN 29 Tebo. Subjek penelitian adalah satu orang guru matematika, delapan orang siswa dalam uji coba satu-satu, serta 29 orang siswa dalam uji kelompok kecil. Validasi ahli menyatakan E-LKPD telah valid dan layak untuk diuji cobakan. Kemudian guru serta siswa dalam ujicoba satu-satu memberikan respon yang sangat positif dan menyatakan bahwa E-LKPD praktis dan layak diujikan ke kelompok kecil. Selanjutnya analisis hasil tes siswa dalam uji kelompok kecil menggunakan pedoman penskoran kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis diperoleh skor total tes awal sebesar 202 dan skor total tes akhir sebesar 562. Berdasarkan Uji N-Gain, diperoleh hasil bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan siswa dengan nilai sebesar 0,590164 berada pada kategori sedang. Sehingga dengan nilai ini maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa E-LKPD sudah efektif serta dapat digunakan oleh guru dan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran materi bangun ruang sisi lengkung untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) proses dan hasil produk pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran matematika berbasis quantum learning, (2) kevalidan multimedia pembelajaran matematika, (3) kepraktisan multimedia pembelajaran matematika dan (4) efektivitas multimedia pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu yaitu multimedia pembelajaran matematika berbasis quantum learning. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model ADDIE. Multimedia pembelajaran matematika akan digunakan oleh siswa kelas VII SMP Islam Al-Falah Jambi. Subjek penelitian yaitu 29 orang siswa kelas VII.5. Dalam penelitian pengembangan ini validasi ahli menyatakan multimedia telah valid dan layak diuji cobakan. Guru dan siswa memberikan respon positif dan menyatakan bahwa multimedia tersebut praktis dan layak diuji cobakan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dalam kategori sedang yaitu berdasarkan Uji N-Gain terlihat bahwa skor yang diperoleh adalah 0,51 pada kriteria sedang, dan berdasarkan uji t dependent (Paired Sample t Test) diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 < 0.05 artinya terdapat perbedaan yang nyata pada kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan multimedia pembelajaran matematika berbasis quantum learning. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa multimedia pembelajaran matematika yang dikembangkan baik dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Oleh karena itu multimedia yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan oleh guru dalam proses pembelajaran pada materi segiempat dan segitiga untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis.
