Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian ini membahas tentang upaya peningkatan kapasitas guru dalam menulis artikel ilmiah dengan memanfaatkan Artificial Intelligence (AI). Melalui pendekatan Action Research, para guru terlibat langsung dalam proses perbaikan dan pengembangan kemampuan mereka dalam literasi digital dan teknik penulisan artikel ilmiah. Tahapan pengabdian kepada masyarakat melibatkan langkah-langkah sistematis untuk mencapai tujuan peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam memanfaatkan AI. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam menulis artikel ilmiah, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas publikasi ilmiah mereka. Dengan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang AI, guru diharapkan dapat mengintegrasikan teknologi ini secara efektif dalam pembelajaran, menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan adaptif. Kesimpulannya, pengabdian ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam meningkatkan literasi digital dan kemampuan menulis artikel ilmiah guru, serta memberikan landasan untuk pengembangan kegiatan pengabdian di masa mendatang.

Abstract

The community service conducted by the team of lecturers from Universitas Negeri Makassar was held at the Electronics Workshop, Department of Educational Electronics, with 15 beginner students registered as participants. The problems identified by the research team, in collaboration with the participants during the socialization, were as follows: (1) The lack of understanding among beginner participants regarding the practice of Arduino-based microcontroller with Wokwi, (2) New students, as beginners, found it difficult to practice with Arduino-based microcontrollers using Wokwi, (3) Beginner participants in the microcontroller practice needed guidance and mentoring from competent individuals to effectively simulate the Arduino-based microcontroller with Wokwi.To address the problems faced by the partners, the solutions offered through this Community Service Program (PKM) were as follows: (1) Providing training to stimulate the potential and interest of the participants, (2) Offering training that integrates knowledge (mathematics, science, and technology) with hardware and software for beginner participants, inviting competent speakers in the field of Arduino-based microcontroller using Wokwi, (3) Conducting training and mentoring to help participants demonstrate Arduino-based microcontroller practice with Wokwi, led by a competent instructor.The method of implementing this activity involved training for beginner students, specifically new students. After being trained, they were mentored to apply the knowledge gained in order to enhance their professionalism in using the Wokwi application. The training was carried out in two main stages: (1) Preparation phase, and (2) Implementation phase of the training. Overall, the results of the Arduino-based microcontroller practice training in the Electronics Workshop of the Educational Electronics Department can be concluded as satisfactory and successful in accordance with the planned objectives. This is reflected in various indicators, including the alignment between planning and implementation, the attendance rate of participants in each session, and the results of the participants' feedback surveys. All the materials planned in the training proposal were successfully delivered as intended. The attendance of the training participants in each session reached 100% of the total 15 registered participants. The activity was also successful in improving the participants' knowledge, skills, and motivation to become more proficient in using the Wokwi application. Abstrak Pengabdian oleh tim dosen Universitas Negeri Makassar ini dilaksanakan di Bengkel Elektronika, Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Elektronika, dengan melibatkan mitra kelompok mahasiswa pemula sebanyak 15 mahasiswa yang terdaftar. Identifikasi masalah yang berhasil dilakukan oleh tim peneliti bersama para peserta sosialisasi adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Kurangnya pemahaman peserta pemula dalam melakukan praktik mikrokontroler Arduino berbasis Wokwi, (2) Mahasiswa baru yang terlibat dalam praktik mikrokontroler Arduino berbasis Wokwi merasa kesulitan dalam melaksanakan praktik tersebut, (3) Peserta pemula dalam praktik mikrokontroler membutuhkan pendampingan serta pembinaan dari pihak yang kompeten untuk melakukan simulasi praktik mikrokontroler Arduino berbasis Wokwi.Untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra, solusi yang ditawarkan melalui program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah: (1) Memberikan pelatihan untuk membangkitkan potensi dan minat yang dimiliki peserta, (2) Memberikan pelatihan yang mengkolaborasikan ilmu pengetahuan (matematika, sains, dan teknologi) yang telah diperoleh dengan perangkat keras (hardware) dan perangkat lunak (software) kepada peserta pemula, dengan mengundang pemateri yang kompeten di bidang mikrokontroler Arduino berbasis Wokwi, (3) Melakukan pelatihan dan pembinaan kepada peserta pemula dalam mendemonstrasikan praktik mikrokontroler Arduino berbasis Wokwi oleh pemateri yang kompeten. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini berupa pelatihan kepada peserta pemula di kalangan mahasiswa baru. Setelah diberikan pelatihan, peserta dibimbing untuk menerapkan hasil pelatihan tersebut dalam rangka meningkatkan profesionalisme mereka dalam menggunakan aplikasi Wokwi. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan melalui dua tahapan utama: (1) tahap persiapan, dan (2) tahap pelaksanaan pelatihan. Secara umum, hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan praktik mikrokontroler berbasis Arduino di Bengkel Elektronika Pendidikan Teknik Elektronika ini dapat disimpulkan dengan memuaskan dan berhasil sesuai dengan rencana yang telah ditetapkan. Hal ini tercermin dari berbagai indikator, termasuk kesesuaian antara perencanaan dan pelaksanaan, tingkat kehadiran peserta dalam setiap pertemuan, serta hasil pengisian angket oleh peserta. Semua materi yang telah direncanakan dalam proposal pelatihan dapat disampaikan dengan baik sesuai rencana. Kehadiran peserta pelatihan pada setiap pertemuan mencapai 100% dari total 15 peserta yang terdaftar. Kegiatan ini juga berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan motivasi peserta untuk menjadi lebih terampil dalam menggunakan aplikasi Wokwi.

Abstract

The rapid evolution of technology has reshaped the educational landscape, ushering in ubiquitous learning environments that provide learners with unparalleled access to educational resources at any time and location. This study aimed to investigate the impact of delayed feedback on student engagement and problem-solving skills in ubiquitous learning programming environments. The purpose was to understand how different forms of student engagement—behavioral, emotional, and cognitive—influence problem-solving abilities and how students perceive and handle delayed feedback. A quantitative method was employed using a cross-sectional survey design. Data were collected from 293 students enrolled in the Department of Informatics and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Makassar State University, who had studied web and mobile programming courses. Standardized questionnaires were administered to measure variables. Quantitative data analysis involved descriptive statistical analysis and structural equation modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS 4.0. The research results revealed that behavioral engagement (BE) significantly improves problem-solving skills and helps students better handle delayed feedback. Emotional engagement (EE) has the strongest influence on problem-solving abilities and responses to delayed feedback. Cognitive engagement (CE), while not directly enhancing problem-solving skills, significantly aids in the management of delayed feedback. These findings underscore the importance of fostering behavioral and emotional engagement to enhance problem-solving skills and mitigate the adverse effects of delayed feedback. Strategies such as gamification, real-time collaboration, and immediate feedback mechanisms are essential to improve learning outcomes in ubiquitous learning programming environments.

Abstract

This article discusses a community service program which aims to strengthen the profile of Pancasila among Vocational High School (SMK) students, especially at SMK Negeri 7 Takalar. This program is designed to increase teacher capacity in integrating Pancasila values ​​into learning. The methods used are lectures, group discussions, and direct practice in making P5 projects. Follow-up steps include the formation of a monitoring group, integration of Pancasila values ​​in the curriculum, development of follow-up programs, collaboration with parents and the community, involvement of teachers and school staff, and regular evaluations. The program results show the program is effective in improving teachers' understanding of P5 concepts and their skills in designing projects. However, further support is still needed in terms of resources and time for optimal implementation of P5 in schools. This article provides guidance for the development of similar programs in vocational education institutions. Regular evaluation and feedback is implemented to ensure the sustainability and expansion of the impact of this program in shaping student character based on Pancasila values.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengkaji fenomena pengelolaan rumah makan muslim di Toraja. Berbagai penafsiran dari para pengelola dan pemilik rumah makan muslim terkait “Halalantoyyiban” halal dan bersih yang nantinya akan dihubungkan dengan konsep Syariah Enterprise Theory (SET) dan dimaknai ke konsep Maqasidu Syariah. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma interpretive pendekatan studi kasus. Ada empat tahapan aspek yang dianalisis di dalam pengelolaan restoran muslim yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, kepemimpinan, dan pengawasan aktivitas yang memunculkan berbagai sikap yang didapat dari para informan mulai dari pemilik, pengelola, karyawan dan pelanggan rumah makan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan rumah makan muslim di Toraja jika dihubungkan dengan konsep SET dan maqasidu syariah diantaranya pemilik dan pengelola selalu mengedepankan “halalantoyyiban” walaupun tidak memiliki sertifikasi halal. Simbol-simbol islam sebuah rumah makan muslim di daerah nonmuslim akan bermanfaat seperti iklan yang akan memberikan informasi bahwa makanan di rumah makan tersebut layak dikonsumsi oleh wisatawan muslim yang berkunjung ke Toraja. Praktek pengawasan rumah makan muslim di Toraja mengedepankan nilai-nilai filosofi dan konsep ihsan yang diajarkan oleh Nabi Muhammad saw.

Abstract

This article discusses a class cash financial management application designed to facilitate a class financial administrator in managing cash finances in an educational environment. This application provides features such as recording income and expenses, tracking transactions, automatic financial reports. The purpose of this application is to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and affordability of classroom financial information. Another advantage of this class cash financial management application is its ability in the reporting process. This application can generate automatic financial reports that can be customized as needed. This is very useful for reporting purposes to the authorities or for audit purposes. With this application, the process of preparing financial reports becomes faster, more accurate, and more efficient. Overall, this article discusses a class cash financial management application that provides benefits in financial management efficiency, easy access to information, and reporting capabilities. This application can be a useful tool for class financial administrators such as class treasurers in managing class cash finances more effectively and efficiently. The test results of this CashClass application show that this CashClass application functions properly in accordance with the requirements and expectations that have been set.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to develop a vehicle rental information system that facilitates users in borrowing vehicles. The research population consists of 27 students in Makassar, and data was collected through an online questionnaire. The system was tested using the Blackbox Testing method to assess its functions and features. The research findings indicate that Vehicle Rental (VeRal) can be utilized as an effective platform for borrowing vehicles. With VeRal, users can easily book vehicles according to their needs. The success of this system has the potential to enhance efficiency and convenience in vehicle rentals. This research contributes to the relevant field of study in the current digital era, where technology brings significant changes to various aspects of human life, including transportation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which the implementation of tax amnesty at KPP Pratama Makassar Selatan is running well, especially related to the realization of tax revenue and the level of taxpayer compliance in submitting Annual Tax Returns, which will be studied within the framework of maqashid sharia. This study uses a case study methodology and is classified as qualitative research. Based on the results of the study, the state tax industry has felt the benefits of the implementation of the tax amnesty policy. Tax revenues have increased quite significantly compared to before the tax amnesty policy was implemented. In addition, taxpayer compliance has increased as an impact of the tax amnesty program, especially in terms of submitting annual tax returns. According to Maqashid Sharia, the tax amnesty policy is in accordance with and in accordance with the concept of Islamic protection, which states that higher tax revenues indicate protection of property (hifdz al-mal) and descendants (hifdz an-nasb), while higher taxpayer compliance in submitting annual tax returns indicates protection of life (hifdz an-nafs) and protection of reason (hifdz al-aql).

Abstract

Digital transformation has brought artificial intelligence (AI) into various sectors, including education. In this context, teachers are expected not only to understand the teaching content but also to utilize technology in a critical and contextual manner. This community service activity was carried out in collaboration with Economics teachers who are members of the MGMP (Subject Teacher Forum) across South Sulawesi, aiming to explore the integration of AI in education. Using an Action Research (AR) approach, the program included basic AI concept training, prompt development workshops, and hands-on practice in creating AI-assisted teaching materials. The teachers actively engaged in designing learning content using tools such as ChatGPT, Notion AI, and Canva AI. Reflection and group discussions were integral parts of the collaborative learning process. The results show that the teachers were able to utilize AI technology in a contextual and creative way when developing instructional materials, and they demonstrated readiness to face the evolving landscape of educational technology.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of love of money and the self assessment system on tax evasion, with morality as a moderating variable. The research adopts a quantitative approach using a causal comparative method. The sample consisted of 100 respondents, namely muslim individual taxpayers registered at KP2KP Sungguminasa, selected through purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with an absolute difference approach. The results indicate that love of money has a significant positive effect on tax evasion, with a p-value of 0.001. similarly, the self assessment system also shows a significant positive effect on tax evasion, with a p-value of 0.003. Meanwhile, morality does not moderate the relationship between love of money and tax evasion (p= 0.080), but it does moderate the relationship between the self assessment system and tax evasion, with a p-value of 0.015. The implications of this study underline the importance of moral formation in improving tax compliance, so that efforts to prevent tax evasion can be carried out more effectively.
