Abstract

INTERNALIZATION OF RELIGIOUS HUMANISTIC VALUES IN  “Z” GENERATION USING DESIGN FOR CHANGE. The importance of this research is the trend of Generation Z which can not be separated from internet technology. This phenomenon gave birth to a new problem, where the attitude of Generation Z is tend to be individualistic, less sensitive to the environment, likes to do cyberbulying, cybercrime and other problems far from humanist value. This will lead to greater problems if teachers do not use relevant strategies in educating. This study presents the strategy of PAI teachers in instilling religious humanistic values in the Z generation. This research uses a qualitative approach with a method of determining sampling in the form of purposeful sampling precisely in SMAN 26 Bandung. The findings in the field related to the strategy of PAI teachers in instilling humanistic values in the Z generation is through the process of learning in the classroom with various methods of learning PAI accompanied by the use of technology-based media, one of which is using Design For Change method. The result is that students become passionate about learning, being religious, more concerned about humanitarian issues and trying to collaborate in finding solutions. This awareness virus can be transmitted with Internet media and social media that Generasi Z have.

Abstract

The emergence of Integrated Islamic Schools adds to the treasures for the development of Islamic education in Indonesia. Prior to the emergence of Integrated Islamic Schools, educational institutions in Indonesia consisted of madrasas, public schools and Islamic boarding schools. The existence of Integrated Islamic Schools brings different colors and characteristics when compared to madrasas and pesantren. Integrated Islamic Schools combine religious education which is the hallmark of Islamic boarding schools and modern education which is the hallmark of public schools. The concept of integration is built by combining religious education and general education in one curriculum. The subjects and coaching activities presented are integrated with each other with Islamic values. This study uses a qualitative approach. The results of the study indicate that the concept of integration or integration between Islam and science in Integrated Islamic schools has been contained in the curriculum. However, the limitations of learning resources and teaching resources that can integrate Islam and science are a challenge in their efforts to implement the concept of integration in the Integrated Islamic School. So that the process of Islamization of subjects and training of teaching resources should continue to be carried out to realize an Integrated Islamic School that is in line with the concept of integration.Keywords : Islamic Education, Islamization of Knowledge, Integrated Islamic School

Abstract

Introducing the Quran to early childhood is a crucial foundation for developing their character and spirituality. In the modern technological era, adopting an effective learning approach is essential. This article reviews the significance of a multisensory approach in Quran memorization for early childhood. This study employed a mixed-methods approach, involving a survey of 50 parents selected through convenience sampling who participated in the tahfidz program. In addition, in-depth interviews were conducted with seven parents and three early childhood tahfidz teachers, complemented by direct observation of interactions in the memorization process. Data analysis was performed descriptively using MS Excel 2013 for quantitative data and NVivo 12 for qualitative data, based on the Miles and Huberman approach. The results indicate that the tradition of Quran memorization remains strong in Muslim families and is increasingly applied to early childhood. Methods involving multiple senses—such as hearing, sight, and touch—are preferred to enhance memorization. The integration of technology, combining audio, visual, and kinesthetic elements, creates an engaging memorization experience. This study confirms that a multisensory approach, along with technology integration and the active involvement of parents and teachers, enhances children's engagement and memory retention. It also provides a robust foundation for developing an effective religious education curriculum.

Abstract

Penggunaan Gadget pada anak menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi orang tua, khususnya bagi Millennial Parents sebagai orang tua muda. Gadget pada anak selain memiliki manfaat, di sisi lain Gadget juga memiliki dampak buruk bagi tumbuh kembang dan hubungan sosial anak. Masalah yang muncul hari ini yaitu banyaknya anak usia dini kecanduan Gadget. Salah satu upaya dalam menanggulangi kecanduan Gadget diantaranya dengan membatasi waktu anak dalam menggunakan Gadget dan mengalihkan anak dengan aktivitas secara fisik. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis bentuk kegiatan informal yang dilakukan Millennial Parents di rumah. Cara Millennial Parents dalam mendidik anak berbeda dengan generasi sebelumnya disebabkan faktor teknologi dan perubahan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Sebanyak 10 orang tua terlibat sebagai subjek penelitian. Data diambil melalui wawancara,  observasi dan studi dokumen,  selanjutnya data dianalisis. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan Muslim Millennial Parents memiliki kesadaran atas pentingnya mendidik anak dan menanamkan keimanan sejak dini. Selain menggunakan pendekatan konvensional, diantara alternatif yang dipilih Muslim Millennial Parents untuk mempermudah proses pendidikan yaitu menggunakan layanan Home Educator Helper. Home Educator Helper merupakan sebuah platform homeschooling online yang menyediakan kurikulum, evaluasi, support system dan kosultasi pendidikan di rumah.

Abstract

AbstactThis study aims to analyze the conceptual and practical distinctions among Islamic Education, Islamic Pedagogy, and Islamic Religious Education. Employing a qualitative approach and a comparative study design, data were gathered through in-depth interviews with education practitioners, literature review, and direct observation of the learning process in selected educational institutions in Indonesia. The research sample was purposively chosen to encompass a representative range of institutions implementing these three educational approaches. The findings highlight significant conceptual variances: Islamic Education encompasses a broad spectrum of education grounded in Islamic values; Islamic Pedagogy emphasizes the integration of character education and morality within the curriculum; while Islamic Religious Education focuses on imparting knowledge of Islamic religious beliefs. It is anticipated that this research will enrich the Islamic education literature by elucidating the distinctions among these three educational paradigms and their implications for the formulation of education policies, curricula, and pedagogical practices in Islamic educational institutions.Keywords: Islamic Education, Islamic Pedagogy, Islamic Religious Education, Concept of Islamic Education, Islamic Education Paradigm.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan konseptual dan praktis antara Pendidikan Islam, Pendidikan Islami, dan Pendidikan Agama Islam. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dan desain studi komparatif, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara mendalam dengan praktisi pendidikan, studi pustaka, serta observasi langsung pada proses pembelajaran di lembaga pendidikan yang terpilih di Indonesia. Sampel penelitian dipilih secara purposive untuk mendapatkan variasi representatif dari lembaga yang menerapkan ketiga pendekatan pendidikan tersebut. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi perbedaan konseptual yang signifikan antara Pendidikan Islam, yang mencakup aspek luas pendidikan berdasarkan nilai-nilai Islam; Pendidikan Islami, yang lebih fokus pada integrasi pendidikan karakter dan moralitas dalam kurikulum; dan Pendidikan Agama Islam, yang terfokus pada pengajaran aspek keagamaan Islam. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada literatur pendidikan Islam dengan menyediakan pemahaman yang lebih jelas tentang diferensiasi antara ketiga pendekatan pendidikan ini dan implikasinya terhadap pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan, kurikulum, dan praktik pengajaran di lembaga pendidikan Islam. Abstract

Konflik Israel-Palestina telah menjadi perhatian global yang berkelanjutan, khususnya dalam konteks kontroversi apakah tindakan Israel dapat dikategorikan sebagai genosida terhadap Palestina. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk menganalisis pandangan pelajar Indonesia terhadap konflik ini. Survei dilakukan terhadap 46 mahasiswa dari berbagai institusi pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan siswa menganggap tindakan Israel sebagai genosida, meskipun terdapat variasi dalam dukungan terhadap tindakan internasional untuk menghentikan genosida tersebut. Analisis juga mengungkapkan bahwa pemahaman sejarah konflik, pemaparan media, dan pengalaman pribadi mempengaruhi pandangan siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang dinamika opini mahasiswa Indonesia terhadap konflik Israel-Palestina dan relevansinya dalam konteks sosial, politik, dan akademis.

Abstract

Abstract In the contemporary digital epoch, proficiency in adapting and mastering digital skills is paramount for individuals. The present study elucidates the significant influence of a Digital-Based Islamic Education Instructional Design Course on augmenting digital skills among participants of the Distance Education Program at the Islamic Education Department, IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, currently known as the Universitas Islam Negeri Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon (UIN SSC). This initiative, a pioneering endeavour by the Syekh Nurjati Indonesia Cyber Islamic University (UISSI) and supported by the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag), adopts an online learning paradigm facilitated by madrasah educators across diverse regions. The research, employing a quantitative methodology, engaged 90 students from the course above to analyze their engagement levels, including participation scores, study hours, and overall course involvement. The enhancement of digital skills was assessed through a comparative analysis of pre-and post-test scores, specifically tailored to evaluate the students' digital competencies. Linear regression analysis revealed a substantial impact of course participation on enhancing digital skills, evidenced by a determination coefficient (R-squared) of 0.761. This indicates that 76.1% of the variance in digital skill improvement can be attributed to this independent variable. Further, ANOVA analysis validated the regression model's robust statistical significance, denoted by an F value of 279.702 and a p-value less than 0.001. The juxtaposition of the mean pre-test score (60.40) against the post-test score (85.40) furnishes empirical substantiation of the course's efficacy. These outcomes highlight the criticality of incorporating the Digital-Based Islamic Education Instructional Design Course into the curricula of higher education institutions as a strategic manoeuvre to equip students for success in a progressively digital world.     Abstrak Di era digital saat ini, kemampuan untuk menyesuaikan diri dan menguasai keterampilan digital menjadi sangat penting bagi individu. Penelitian ini menyoroti pengaruh Mata Kuliah Desain Pembelajaran PAI Berbasis Digital terhadap peningkatan keterampilan digital mahasiswa dalam Program Pendidikan Jarak Jauh di Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon atau yang dikenal saat ini Universitas Islam Negeri Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon (UIN SSC). Program ini merupakan inisiatif uji coba oleh Universitas Islam Siber Syekh Nurjati Indonesia (UISSI), didukung oleh Kementerian Agama (Kemenag), dan menampilkan pendekatan pembelajaran online yang diikuti oleh guru-guru madrasah dari berbagai wilayah. Penelitian kuantitatif ini mengumpulkan data dari 90 mahasiswa yang terlibat dalam Mata Kuliah Desain Pembelajaran PAI Berbasis Digital, dengan fokus pada skor partisipasi mereka, jam belajar, serta penilaian komprehensif mengenai keterlibatan mereka dalam kursus. Keterampilan digital diukur melalui perbandingan skor pre-test dan post-test yang secara khusus dirancang untuk menilai kompetensi digital mahasiswa. Menggunakan analisis regresi linear, penelitian ini mendapati bahwa partisipasi dalam mata kuliah memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan digital, dengan koefisien determinasi (R-squared) sebesar 0.761, menunjukkan bahwa 76.1% variabilitas dalam peningkatan keterampilan digital mahasiswa dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel independen ini. Analisis ANOVA menunjukkan signifikansi statistik yang kuat dari model regresi yang diaplikasikan, dengan nilai F sebesar 279.702 dan p-value kurang dari 0.001. Hasil membandingkan rata-rata skor pre-test sebesar 60.40 dengan skor post-test sebesar 85.40, memberikan bukti empiris atas manfaat mata kuliah ini. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya mengintegrasikan Mata Kuliah Desain Pembelajaran PAI Berbasis Digital dalam kurikulum pendidikan tinggi sebagai langkah strategis dalam mempersiapkan mahasiswa untuk sukses dalam dunia yang semakin didigitalisasi.

Abstract

This article discusses the concepts of Islamic education contained in the book Ta'lim al-Muta'allim-Tariq at-Ta'allum by Sheikh Al-Zarnuji and its implementation in the context of Islamic education. This article begins with an explanation of the meaning of the concept and Islamic education. The concepts of Islamic education discussed include the objectives of Islamic education, the curriculum of Islamic education, the characteristics of teachers, the characteristics of students, learning manners, and learning methods. An explanation of the implementation of these concepts of Islamic education in the context of contemporary Islamic education is also discussed in this article. Overall, this article provides a comprehensive understanding of the concepts of Islamic education contained in the book Ta'lim al-Muta'allim-Tariq at-Ta'allum by Sheikh Al-Zarnuji and their implications in the practice of Islamic education today.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pentingnya penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengatasi tantangan dalam pembelajaran Sejarah pada PAI dengan memperkenalkan pendekatan inovatif. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan pentingnya memperbaiki tingkat keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran Sejarah pada PAI dengan menggunakan pendekatan inovatif melalui Pesta Topeng dengan menciptakan suasana belajar yang kreatif dan mengundang partisipasi aktif siswa. Riset ini menjawab permasalahan dimana siswa mengalami kurangnya keterlibatan aktif dalam pembelajaran, yang dapat berdampak negatif pada pemahaman mereka terhadap sejarah dan nilai-nilai keagamaan. Penelitian ini melibatkan penerapan Pesta Topeng sebagai strategi interaktif dalam pembelajaran Sejarah PAI. Pesta Topeng dipilih karena dapat menciptakan suasana belajar yang kreatif, menyenangkan, dan mengundang partisipasi aktif siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melibatkan 4 guru PAI dan 100 siswa yang terdiri dari kelas XI dan XII yang mengikuti mata pelajaran PAI sebagai subjek penelitian di Sekolah Menengah Atas. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara, dan analisis kuesioner. Data dianalisis dengan bantuan perangkant lunak NVivo 12. Pesta Topeng mampu memotivasi siswa untuk lebih aktif berpartisipasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil survei menunjukkan 95% siswa menjadi termotivasi untuk terlibat dalam pembelajaran. Hasil survei juga menunjukkan 85% siswa menunjukkan peningkatan minat terhadap sejarah dan pemahaman mendalam terkait nilai-nilai keagamaan yang sebelumnya hanya 53%. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting terhadap upaya peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran Sejarah pada mata pelajaran PAI. Strategi Pesta Topeng dapat dijadikan alternatif inovatif untuk mengatasi masalah keterlibatan siswa, menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih dinamis, dan meningkatkan efektivitas pendidikan keagamaan dalam mengembangkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa. Implikasi hasil penelitian bagi guru dapat meningkatkan keterampilan dalam merancang dan menyelenggarakan yang menarik dan relevan dengan materi pembelajaran. Bagi sekolah dapat membuat lingkungan belajar yang mendukung dan mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa. Bagi pembuat kebijakan pendidikan dapat mendorong pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan yang mendukung penggunaan pendekatan inovatif dalam pembelajaran.Abstract: The importance of this study lies in addressing the challenges in learning History in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) by introducing an innovative approach. This research highlights the significance of enhancing student engagement in PAI History lessons through the use of an innovative approach via the Pesta Topeng, creating a creative learning environment that fosters active student participation. This study addresses the issue where students experience a lack of active engagement in learning, which can negatively impact their understanding of history and religious values. The research involved implementing the Pesta Topeng as an interactive strategy in PAI History education. The Pesta Topeng was chosen because it can create a creative, enjoyable learning atmosphere and invite active student participation. The study was conducted involving 4 PAI teachers and 100 students from grades XI and XII who were enrolled in the PAI subject as research subjects in a Senior High School. Data collection was conducted through participatory observation, interviews, and questionnaire analysis. Data were analyzed using NVivo 12 software. The Pesta Topeng was able to motivate students to participate more actively in the learning process. Survey results indicated that 95% of students were motivated to engage in learning. Additionally, 85% of students showed an increased interest in history and a deeper understanding of religious values, up from previously 53%. This research provides a significant contribution to efforts to enhance the quality of History education in PAI subjects. The Pesta Topeng strategy can be considered an innovative alternative to address the issue of student engagement, creating a more dynamic learning environment, and improving the effectiveness of religious education in developing student understanding and skills. The implications of the research results for teachers can enhance skills in designing and conducting engaging and relevant educational content. For schools, it can create a supportive learning environment that encourages active student participation. For educational policymakers, it can encourage the development of educational policies that support the use of innovative approaches in learning.
