Abstract

Managing customer complaints and service requests often encounters obstacles in manual systems, such as delayed response times, lost ticket data, and the absence of status tracking. This research aims to design and develop a web-based helpdesk ticketing application to automate ticket management processes more efficiently.The development method adopts the waterfall approach, encompassing requirements analysis, system design (including UML diagrams such as use case, class, sequence, and activity), implementation using the PHP framework, MySQL database, and Bootstrap for responsive interfaces. The application supports key features like ticket creation by users, ticket assignment to agents, real-time status tracking, email notifications, and analytical reports.Testing results indicate the application operates optimally with a 95% success rate on functional and non-functional tests, and an average response time under 2 seconds. The application successfully enhances helpdesk management efficiency by up to 40% based on simulated data. In conclusion, this system is feasible for implementation in organizations with high ticket volumes, with suggestions for further development such as AI integration for ticket prioritization.

Abstract

Manual management of school administration data involving physical documents or spreadsheets often leads to data inconsistency, potential duplication, and operational inefficiency. The Web-App School Administration System was developed as a web-based solution for managing digital and summarized Student, Teacher, and Subject Data. This study aims to test the system's core functionality. The testing scope includes the authentication module (Login) and CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations on master data. The testing method used is Blackbox Testing utilizing Equivalence Partitioning (EP) and Boundary Value Analysis (BVA) techniques. Testing and reporting procedures are implemented in accordance with the principles of the ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119 standard. The test results indicate that the Web-App School Administration System functions according to the specified functional specifications, provides a high level of operational feasibility, and is an effective alternative to replacing conventional school administration procedures.

Abstract

Warehouse inventory management increasingly relies on web-based applications for real-time stock monitoring amidst the complexity of the Indonesian supply chain. This study evaluates the functional suitability of a Web-Based Warehouse Inventory Application using black box testing according to the ISO/IEC 25010 standard. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the study population includes 11 functional modules, with a purposive sample of 50 test cases that test authentication, master data, transactions, and reports. The instruments consist of structured test cases based on equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, decision table testing, and use case testing, analyzed through PASS/FAIL comparisons, defect severity classification according to ISO/IEC 29119, and thematic pattern identification. The results show an 85% success rate for core operations such as login validation, CRUD functions, and stock reporting, but critical failures were found in stock validation (allowing negative stock), dashboard access without login, lack of session timeout, and the transaction edit feature. In conclusion, although the basic functions meet operational needs, security and data integrity gaps require immediate remediation for production readiness.

Abstract

PT Teknologi Informatika Solusindo adalah perusahaan teknologi informasi yang sering menghadapi masalah dalam mengelola proses pengajuan dan persetujuan cash advance yang masih dilakukan secara manual. Beberapa masalah dengan proses manual ini termasuk keterlambatan persetujuan, kurangnya transparansi, dan kesulitan untuk memantau riwayat pengajuan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membangun sistem informasi manajemen persetujuan cash advance yang dapat diakses melalui web untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi proses bisnis. Analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan adalah tahapan dari metode Waterfall dalam pengembangan sistem yang digunakan. Sistem yang dibangun menggunakan teknologi berbasis web memungkinkan akses multiuser secara real-time dan terdokumentasi. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat mempercepat proses pengajuan dan persetujuan cash advance, memberikan notifikasi otomatis, dan menghasilkan laporan yang terstruktur dan mudah diakses oleh manajemen. PT Teknologi Informatika Solusindo telah memanfaatkan sistem ini untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, mengurangi kemungkinan kesalahan manusia, dan menghasilkan proses yang lebih jelas dan akuntabel. Selain itu, penelitian ini membuka peluang lebih lanjut untuk pengembangan sistem, seperti integrasi dengan sistem keuangan dan ERP perusahaan.

Abstract

This study evaluates the software quality of the UPN Jatim Cashier Application website (simulated URL: repository.upnjatim.ac.id/11689) against the international standard ISO/IEC 29119:2022. The evaluation employed comprehensive Black Box Testing using Selenium IDE for functional verification, and GTMetrix and Google Lighthouse for non-functional and usability analysis. Simulated Testing Data (adopting metrics from comparative study): The functional testing achieved a success rate of $91.4\%$ across 35 test cases, however, a critical security defect was identified in the authentication module (TC-001) where the system failed to deny access with invalid credentials. Non-functional analysis yielded excellent results, with GTMetrix scoring Grade A (Performance $93\%$ and LCP $1.1s$). Google Lighthouse produced a good average usability score of $88.25\%$, though it highlighted a need for improvement in Accessibility ($84.5\%$). The overall software feasibility, calculated using ISO 29119 metrics (Execution, Effectiveness, Pass Rate, and Coverage), reached $90.35\%$. This score deems the system Highly Suitable for Release, yet the severity of the authentication flaw mandates immediate repair before public deployment.

Abstract

This research aims to design and implement a Python-based YouTube Downloader Pro application that can be used to effectively download videos from the YouTube platform. This application was developed to help users access video content offline. The research methods include requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing using black-box and white-box methods. The test results indicate that the application runs according to the expected functionality.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology in education encourages the use of web-based literacy systems to support teaching and learning activities. SukaBaca is an online literacy platform that provides class management, reading materials, and quiz features accessed through a class code mechanism. This study aims to evaluate the functional quality of the SukaBaca website using the ISO/IEC 29119 standard through the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) approach. Black-box testing was applied to core features, including user authentication, class and material management, quizzes, and score calculation. The results indicate the presence of several functional bugs that affect user experience, highlighting the need for further system improvements.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology in business encourages the use of web‑based systems to support digital marketing and content management activities. PT Remala Abadi Tbk, as an internet service provider, develops a Manage content system that provides product content request features, global visitor analytics, and real‑time SEO detection to support its marketing and sales teams. This study aims to evaluate the quality of the Manage content website using the ISO/IEC 29119 software testing standard through the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) approach. Functional testing is carried out using black‑box testing on core features such as staff authentication, content management, analytics dashboards, and user log activity, while non‑functional aspects are assessed through performance, usability, SEO, and compatibility testing. The results show that the main functions work as expected, although several minor bugs and performance issues are still found, indicating the need for further improvements to enhance system reliability and user experience.

Abstract

A web-based inventory information system plays an important role in supporting accurate and integrated stock management at Toko Jaya Makmur. This system is used to manage incoming goods, outgoing goods, transaction history, and real-time stock monitoring. To ensure that the system operates in accordance with operational requirements, a structured and well-documented software testing process is required. This study aims to conduct functional testing on the inventory information system website owned by Toko Jaya Makmur using the ISO/IEC 29119 standard as a testing reference. The testing method applied is black box testing, focusing on the dashboard module, incoming goods input, outgoing goods input, transaction history, and stock report features. Test case specifications were developed based on system usage scenarios. The test results indicate that all core system functionalities operate as expected, including data validation, automatic stock updates, and report export features in PDF and Excel formats. Based on the testing results, it can be concluded that the web-based inventory information system owned by Toko Jaya Makmur meets functional requirements and is suitable for supporting effective and efficient inventory management.
