Abstract

The development of information technology encourages the use of web-based systems to support business processes, including inventory management in retail stores. An inventory information system plays an important role in helping store owners manage product data, stock levels, and categories efficiently. However, the developed system must be tested to ensure that all functionalities operate according to user requirements. This study aims to conduct functional testing on a web-based inventory information system using the ISO/IEC 29119 standard. The testing method applied is black-box testing by preparing Test Plan, Test Case, and Test Report documents based on the standard. The testing results indicate that most of the system’s main functions operate properly, although several functional defects were identified in certain modules. The implementation of ISO/IEC 29119 provides a structured and well-documented testing process that can be used as a basis for evaluating the quality of the store inventory system.

Abstract

Web-based Point of Sale (POS) systems are widely adopted by small and medium-sized retail businesses, yet insufficient security implementation can expose them to data breaches and financial losses. This study analyzes security vulnerabilities in the Codekop POS v2.0 application using a testing framework based on the ISO/IEC 29119 standard. The testing process follows ISO/IEC 29119-2 with documentation aligned to ISO/IEC 29119-3, applying manual code review techniques to ten core components. The assessment focuses on authentication, session management, injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), cross-site request forgery (CSRF), and directory traversal, referring to the OWASP Top 10 guidelines. The results reveal one critical, four high, five medium vulnerabilities, and four aspects meeting security standards, with an overall compliance rate of 26.7%. This study provides an ISO/IEC 29119-based web application security testing framework and prioritized improvement recommendations to strengthen POS system security.

Abstract

The development of web-based attendance systems requires functional quality assurance to ensure that employee attendance data is recorded accurately and transparently. This study aims to evaluate the quality of the "SIKARYAWAN" attendance system application by referring to the ISO/IEC 29119 international standard through the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) approach. The testing method employed is Black Box Testing to validate core features such as user authentication, attendance recording, leave submission, and data recapitulation. This research refers to 12 related literatures, including the implementation of ISO 29119 in various information systems and efficient functional testing techniques. The results indicate that the SIKARYAWAN application has met the users' functional requirements, although several improvements in input validation are noted to minimize errors. The application of the ISO/IEC 29119 standard in this study successfully provides structured testing documentation and enhances confidence in the quality of the attendance information system.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology encourages companies to implement web-based employee attendance information systems to improve the efficiency of attendance recording and data management. This study aims to evaluate the functionality and reliability of the employee attendance system at PT Wahana Insan Nugraha using Black box Testing based on the ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119 standard. Testing was conducted on modules including authentication, attendance recording, employee and admin data management, and attendance report presentation. The results indicate that most core functions operate according to specifications; however, bugs were found in the employee data addition feature and sidebar navigation, affecting workflow consistency and user experience. Based on these findings, it is recommended to fix the bugs, conduct further testing, and develop additional features to enhance the system’s stability, reliability, and overall usability.

Abstract

This research aims to design and implement a Python-based YouTube Downloader Pro application that can be used to effectively download videos from the YouTube platform. This application was developed to help users access video content offline. The research methods include requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing using black-box and white-box methods. The test results indicate that the application runs according to the expected functionality.

Abstract

The rapid development of web-based public complaint systems in the Indonesian police sector, such as POLTRAMAN at Polsek Tigaraksa, aims to enhance accessibility, transparency, and efficiency in handling community reports amid digital transformation challenges. This study evaluates the quality of the POLTRAMAN website using ISO/IEC 29119 standards to ensure reliability and usability. Employing a quantitative descriptive approach with Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), the research applies black box testing for functional aspects and non-functional testing (performance, accessibility, best practices, SEO) via Google Lighthouse. The population consists of 7 core modules of the website, with a purposive sample of 5 main pages tested across desktop and mobile using Chrome, Firefox, and Edge browsers. Data analysis involves descriptive metrics conversion and statistical summaries like response time averages. Results reveal 100% functional test pass rate, good overall non-functional scores (average response time 2100 ms, low error rate 0-0.20%), high accessibility and SEO, although dashboard and report creation pages require optimization for dynamic loads. In conclusion, POLTRAMAN is deemed feasible for public service, with recommendations for JavaScript lazy loading to boost mobile performance

Abstract

Transformasi digital pendidikan Indonesia mendorong adopsi sistem informasi pendidikan (SIM) berbasis web untuk pengelolaan data akademik real-time, namun cacat fungsional akibat pengujian tidak terstruktur mengancam keandalan layanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menerapkan standar ISO/IEC 29119 untuk pengujian fungsional black box pada SIM guna meningkatkan kualitas perangkat lunak. Pendekatan deskriptif menggabungkan kualitatif (dokumentasi proses pengujian) dan kuantitatif (metrik pass/fail) pada populasi seluruh modul fungsional (autentikasi, data siswa-guru, proses akademik, dashboard admin), dengan sampel purposive 30 test case (8 autentikasi, 12 data akademik, 7 proses akademik, 3 dashboard). Instrumen mencakup artefak ISO/IEC 29119 (Test Plan, Test Case Specification, Test Procedure, Test Report); analisis data mengintegrasikan deskripsi defect dan perhitungan tingkat keberhasilan 86,67% (26/30 lulus). Hasil menunjukkan 4 test case gagal terutama pada validasi input dan pesan error tidak konsisten. Penelitian menyimpulkan ISO/IEC 29119 efektif sebagai kerangka pengujian terstruktur untuk SIM pendidikan Indonesia, merekomendasikan perluasan pengujian non-fungsional untuk deployment produksi.

Abstract

This research aims to test the functionality of the website-based Purchase Order Monitoring Application developed at PT. Dinamika Elektra Mandiri uses the ISO/IEC 29119 standard. The website that was tested is a system that is important in protecting customers and preventing them from switching to competitors or called Customer Relationship Management which is used to support the collection of customer data and the company's operational activities. The main problem that is the main reason is the lack of structured testing that refers to international standards, so potential functional errors are not systematically identified. The research method used is software testing based on the ISO/IEC 29119 standard. Research stages include test planning, test scenario design, test implementation, and evaluation of test results for system function success criteria. The test results show the function of the tested system according to the user's needs. The conclusion of this research shows that software testing based on the ISO/IEC 29119 standard is able to provide systematic and measurable testing results and help improve the quality of the tested website.   Keywords : Web Based Applications, Customer Relationship Management, ISO/IEC 29119, Software Testing, Purchase Order, System Monitoring.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji fungsionalitas Aplikasi Monitoring Purchase Order berbasis website yang dikembangkan pada PT. Dinamika Elektra Mandiri menggunakan standar ISO/IEC 29119.Website yang diuji merupakan sistem yang penting dalam menjaga pelanggan dan menghindari agar mereka tidak beralih kepesaing atau disebut Customer Relationship Management yang digunakan untuk mendukung pengeloaan data pelanggan dan aktivitas operasional perusahaan. Permasalahan utama yang menjadikan alasan utama yaitu belum adanya pengujian terstruktur yang mengacu pada standar internasional, sehingga potensi kesalahan fungsional tidak teridentifikasi secara sistemantis. Metode peneltian yang digunakan yaitu pengujian perangkat lunak berbasis standar ISO/IEC 29119 . Tahapan Penelitian meliputi perncaan pengujian, perancangan skenario uji, pelaksanaan pengujian, serta evaluasi hasil pengujian untuk kriteria keberhasilan fungsi sistem. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan fungsi sistem yang diuji sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Kesimpulan dari penilitian ini menunjukkan pengujian perangkat lunak berbasis standar ISO/IEC 29119 mampu memberikan hasi kerja pengujian yang sistematis dan terukur serta membantu meningkatkan kualitas pada website yang di uji.   Kata Kunci : Aplikasi Berbasis Web, Customer Relationship Management, ISO/IEC 29119, Pengujian Perangkat Lunak,  Purchase Order, Monitoring Sistem.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi memungkinkan perusahaan meningkatkan layanan melalui sistem informasi berbasis web. CV. Almahyra Sukses Group masih menggunakan proses administrasi pelayanan perpajakan secara manual, yang menimbulkan keterlambatan, ketidakjelasan informasi, serta risiko kesalahan dan kehilangan data. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem informasi administrasi pelayanan perpajakan berbasis web untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan kualitas layanan. Metode pengembangan sistem Agile digunakan karena fleksibilitasnya terhadap perubahan kebutuhan pengguna. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian berupa sistem yang mendukung pendaftaran klien, pemilihan paket layanan, unggah dokumen, pembuatan invoice, dan pemantauan status layanan secara real-time. Pengujian dilakukan dengan BlackBox dan beta test untuk memastikan fungsi sistem sesuai kebutuhan dan diterima pengguna. Sistem ini diharapkan mempermudah administrasi, meningkatkan transparansi, dan mendukung operasi perusahaan secara efisien.

Abstract

Dengan pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi, organisasi dituntut untuk melakukan transformasi digital guna meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi proses operasional internal. Digitalisasi sistem informasi menjadi solusi strategis untuk mengurangi ketergantungan pada proses manual yang cenderung lambat, tidak terintegrasi, dan rentan terhadap kesalahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem informasi berbasis web yang dapat diakses secara daring untuk mendukung operasional Divisi Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) dan General Affair (GA) pada PT Teknologi Informatika Solusindo. Sistem yang dikembangkan diharapkan mampu mengelola berbagai aktivitas administratif secara terintegrasi dan berkelanjutan. Metode pengembangan perangkat lunak yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Agile dengan kerangka kerja Scrum, yang menekankan pada proses iteratif, kolaboratif, dan adaptif terhadap perubahan kebutuhan pengguna. Tahapan pengembangan dilakukan melalui perencanaan sprint, pengembangan inkremental, serta evaluasi berkelanjutan dengan melibatkan pemangku kepentingan terkait. Fitur utama yang diimplementasikan dalam sistem meliputi manajemen data karyawan, absensi, pengajuan cuti, pelacakan aset perusahaan, serta permintaan dan pengelolaan fasilitas. Hasil implementasi dan pengujian sistem menunjukkan adanya peningkatan efisiensi operasional, percepatan proses administrasi, serta peningkatan akurasi data dan kepuasan pengguna. Penerapan metode Agile terbukti mampu menghasilkan sistem yang lebih responsif terhadap kebutuhan bisnis dan pengguna. Dengan demikian, sistem informasi berbasis web yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini dinilai efektif dalam mendukung digitalisasi proses SDM dan General Affair (GA) secara terintegrasi dan berkelanjutan.
