Abstract

Stunting is a health problem by multiple factors (Mother factor, socio-economic factor). The growth retardation (stunting ) was measure by height for age scale which primarily indicates chronic undernutrition. In 2018, the prevalence of stunting in Riau province was 35%, which was higher than the national prevalence of 30.8%. This was an quanitative with cross sectional analytic deign. The study was conducted in Puskesmas Harapan Raya Pekanbaru, Riau, Indonesia. The population was all children (4000), sampel was 187 children by systematic random sampling. Research was to analyze independents variable (risk of stunting) to the dependent’s variable (mother’s age, Prity, Mother Parity, Mother’s Height, (Lila) / MUAC (Mid Upper Arm Circumference), Maternal Characteristics (hemoglobin), Tension Mother’s, ANC Visit, Dietary habit, Mother’s child care, Completed immunization, Weight child and Drink for child.) Research results is maternal hemoglobin ​​in pregnancy with a risk category of having a stunting 53.4%, exlusive breastfeeding with a risk category of having a stunting 54.1%, dietary habit with a risk category of having a stunting 51.3%. Independents variable (Maternal Characteristics (hemoglobin), Exclusive Breastfeeding, Dietary Habis), is a significant association to stunting. The findings from this study will be helpful for programmatic intervention to reduce the stunting.

Abstract

Patient safety is a priority in hospitals services. Implementation of patient safety are expected to minimize the risk of adverse event. Committee of Patient Safety in Hospitals invite all stakeholders to be more attention on patient safety issues. However, in the process, teamwork seems not effective. Leadership is one of the characteristics that an teamwork should have. Various patient safety studies have been done and the result is communication also affects the efficiency of teamwork. This study was aimed to evaluate leadership and communication effectiveness of patient safety teamwork in Ibnu Sina Islamic Hospital, Pekanbaru, Riau. This study used a mixed method exploratory sequential design. In-depth interview and observation were used to explore perception and behavior that describe leadership and communication effectiveness on patient safety teamwork. A Survey using questionnaires were used to categorize perception of both aspects into YAKKUM competency level. Data were analyzed qualitatively using open code 3.6 and quantitatively through frequency distribution. All member of patient safety team participated in the study. The results of study, Of the 42 cases reported incidents, there were 45.22% medication error cases, in which 2.38% result in death and 50% were not analyzed. There were no reports of internal and external work done by team. The effectiveness of leadership and communication still at level 2nd and 3rd. The Conclusion of the research was leadership and communication effectiveness on this team is not optimal and predominantly used passive leadership. Round of Patient Safety (RPS), The SBAR Tools, reward and punishment are recommended in this study.

Abstract

Background: Employees are important factors in the organization to achieve the goal. The employee's performance will affect the quality of service. As we know that patient expectations are getting the best service. From the preliminary survey, we discovered some patient complaints; attitudes, communication and undisciplined by employees. Since last 3 years, the hospital quality service indicator has decreased, BOR (Bed Occupancy Rate) <60-80% (Ministries of health Standard). Aims: To determine the factors affect the employees’ performance in Permata Hati Hospital Riau Indonesia Methods: This research used the analytical quantitative study design with cross sectional study. The study was carried out in Mei-June 2014 in Permata Hati Hospital. We used questionnaires for collecting data, The sample of the research are employees in the provision of services to patients directly, totally 154 respondents. Consists of: health workers (nurses, midwives, laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, doctor) and administrative and finance personnel. The dependent variable is employees’performance and the independent variables are: leadership, salary, supervision, and training. Processing data using statistical calculation: univariate, bivariate and multivariate with multiple logistic regression test. Results: There was a significantly strong correlation between independent variables toward the performance of employees (pvalue <0.05). Leadership exerted a significant effect on performance (exp (B) 2.025), salary significant effect on performance (exp (B) 2.029), supervision significant effect on performance exp (B) 1.525) and training significant effect on performance (exp (B) 2.991). Conclusion: Training is the dominant factor affecting the performance of employees in Permata Hati Hospital. It is a necessary to build a roadmap of continuous training in enhancing the competence and quality of service, monitoring and evaluation of performance and performancebased finance system.

Abstract

Stunting adalah Kondisi gagal tumbuh pada anak balita berakibat dari kekurangan gizi kronis sehingga anak tersebut lebih pendek sebelum usianya. Jumlah prevalensi kasus Stunting di UPT Puskesmas Pelangiran tahun 2020 terjadi peningkatan yaitu 33,1% dari 27,8% tahun 2019. Tujuannya untuk mengetahui implementasi promosi kesehatan dalam program stunting. Jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan Rapid Assement Procedure (RAP) dengan pengolahan data mengunakan triangulasi data, triangulasi metode dan triangulasi sumber. Analisis data menggunakan analisis isi. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan penelusuran dokumen. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 10 orang. Hasil yang diperoleh adanya peraturan bupati KPts-36/PEM-TRJ/IX/2019 tentang pencegahan dan penanggulangan stunting terintegrasi, kurangnya koordinasi dengan lintas sektoral, masih kurang ketersediaan sumber daya manusia dengan 1 orang tenaga kesehatan promosi kesehatan, dan 1 orang  tenaga gizi di puskesmas, ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana terutama pengukur badan dan kurangnya dukungan keluarga pada pelaksanaan program Stunting. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tentang Implementasi Promosi Kesehatan Dalam Program Stunting belum terlaksana dengan baik, ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana yang kurang, perlunya dukungan dari keluarga agar turunnya prevalensi stunting di UPT Puskesmas Pelangiran. Bagi Puskesmas diharapkan untuk melakukan koordinasi kembali untuk meningkatkan partisipasi perangkat desa dalam upaya program stunting, membuat inovasi pembuatan alat pengukur badan antropometri dengan memanfaatkan bahan yang ada di masyarakat.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze drug management in the Pharmacy Installation of the Jiwa Tampan Hospital at Riau Province in 2022. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The research location is carried out at the Jiwa Tampan Hospital at Riau Province, especially the Pharmacy Installation. The research time starts from a preliminary study conducted in January 2022 and then this research is carried out on 17 May to 04 July 2022. The selection of hospital in this study is carried out by purposive sampling method. The total of main hospital and supporting hospital are 14 hospitals. The data analysis technique that will be used by the researcher is a qualitative data analysis technique with content analysis. Based on the results of the study show that drug management in the Pharmacy Installation of the Jiwa Tampan Hospital at Riau Province in 2022 is running well, but there are several components that are not optimal.

Abstract

The research objective is to analyze determinants of the performance of health workers in the Tampan Mental Hospital of Riau Province in 2022. This type of research is quantitative analytic with a cross sectional study design. This research is conducted at the Tampan Mental Hospital in Riau Province which is carried out from April 2022-June 2022. The population in this study are all employees of the health workforce at the Tampan Mental Hospital, Riau Province, totaling 265 people consisting of 7 mental specialists, 25 general practitioners, 6 dentists, 6 psychologists, 167 nurses, 4 pharmacists, diploma 3 Pharmacy 8 people, diploma 3 analysis 3 people, radiology 3 people, medical records 17 people, nutrition 7 people, 2 speech therapists, 2 occupational therapy, and physiotherapy 8 people. This study used bivariate analysis. The results of the study which consist of ability and skill, tenure, leadership, reward, incentive, organizational structure, motivation, job satisfaction, workload, show that only reward, incentive, and workload are related to the performance of health workers in the Tampan Mental Hospital of Riau Province in 2022.

Abstract

Background. Stunting is a height growth disorder. The prevalence of stunting in Riau Province based on the Indonesian Toddler Nutrition Status Survey in 2019 was 23.7% (WHO standard < 20%). The trigger for stunting is multifactorial, starting from pregnancy to 2 years of age under five. Prevention efforts are needed to reduce the prevalence of stunting. Objectives To provide health education during pregnancy through leaflets and banners for pregnant women. Methods, Health education for pregnant women in by health education media by leaflets and banners. This activity is given to mothers There were 18 pregnant women in the Rejosari village area. The understanding of the material on "Preventing Stunting during pregnancy" focused on four educational materials, including: Blood Adding Tablets, Delivery Assistance with health workers, Early Initiation of Breastfeeding and Exclusive Breastfeeding. Measurement indicators use pre and post-test questionnaires. Results. Pre-test scores, low knowledge 54.2% and high knowledge 45.8%, after the post-test, low knowledge scores 26.4% and high knowledge 73.6%. Conclusion. This health education activity using leaflet and banner media was able to increase the knowledge of pregnant women on how to prevent stunting during pregnancy by 27.8%. Suggestion. Periodic monitoring is needed by the coordinator midwife of the Rejosari Health Center which focuses on providing 90 iron tablets, delivery with health workers, IMD and exclusive breastfeeding. Abstrak Latar Belakang Sunting merupakan gangguan pertumbuhan tinggi badan. Prevalensi stunting di Provinsi Riau berdasarkan Survei Status Gizi Balita Indonesia pada tahun 2019 yaitu 23,7% (standar WHO < 20%). Pemicu stunting ini multifaktor yang diawali mulai dari kehamilan sampai 2 tahun usia balita. Perlu upaya pencegahan untuk mengurangi prevalensi stunting tersebut. Tujuan, Untuk memberikan edukasi kesehatan masa kehamilan melalui leafleat dan banner pada ibu hamil. Metode, Edukasi kesehatan pada ibu hamil berupa penyuluhan dan media edukasi kesehatan berupa leaflet dan banner. Kegiatan ini diberikan kepada ibu hamil di wilayah kelurahan Rejosari berjumlah 18 orang. Pemahaman materi tentang “Cegah Stunting pada masa kehamilan” yang diberikan focus pada empat materi edukasi antara lain: Tablet Tambah Darah, Pertolongan Persalinan dengan tenaga kesehatan, Inisiasi Menyusui Dini (IMD), dan ASI Ekslusif. Indikator pengukuran menggunakan kuisioner pre dan post-test. Hasil. Nilai pre-test, pengetahuan rendah 54,2% dan pengetahuan tinggi 45,8%, setelah dilakukan post-test, nilai pengetahun rendah 26,4% dan pengetahuan tinggi 73,6%. Kesimpulan. Kegiatan edukasi kesehatan menggunakan media leaflet dan banner ini mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil cara pencegahan stunting dimasa kehamilan sebesar 27,8%. Saran. Perlu pemantauan berkala oleh bidan coordinator wilayah Puskesmas Rejosari yang berfokus pada pemberian 90 butir TTD, Persalinan dengan tenaga kesehatan, IMD dan ASI Ekslusif.

Abstract

The Indonesian Armed Forces synergizes with the government to accelerate the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination. Objectives, knowing the factors related to the achievement of the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccine invasion of the Indonesian Army.Method, using a quantitative method with a cross-sectional study approach. The sampling method was accidental sampling. The number of respondents was 96 community respondents and 16 respondents from the vaccination team. Data was collected using questionnaires and observations. Data were analyzed using Chi Square test statistical software. Result,there is a relationship between knowledge and public perception < 0.05, the value of = 0.009, not good with the achievement of vaccine 1 (20%), vaccine 2 (14.5%), vaccine 3 (65.5%). The unrelated factors are the knowledge and skills of the vaccination implementation team > 0.05, the value of = 0.006, the type of vaccine available > 0.05, the value of = 0.585), the COVID-19 vaccine distribution system > 0.05, the value of = 0.359 and facilities and infrastructure > 0.05 the value of = 0.854. The relationship between incentive motivation of the vaccination team and the achievement of vaccine implementation was not good (43.8%) and good (56.3%). Vaccination achievements in the four Military District with good category 70.8%, quite good 17.7% and not good 11.5%. Conclusion, the related factors are knowledge and public perception about the COVID-19 vaccine with the achievement of the implementation of the incursion COVID-19 vaccine. The Army while unrelated factors include the knowledge and skills of the vaccination team, the types of vaccines available, the COVID-19 vaccine distribution system and facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Handwashing With Soap is as an implementation of sanitation that achieves optimal hygiene by washing hands and fingers using soap in running water, one of the purposes of Washing Hands With Soap is to avoid infections contaminated with viruses through the nose, mouth, and eye contact. Tresna Werdha Khusnul Khotimah Social Service Technical Service Unit is a Tresna Werdha Social Service Technical Service Unit under the auspices of the Riau Provincial Social Service Office. Tresna Werdha Khusnul Khotimah Social Service Technical Service Unit has 64 elderly people, there are 7 cases of covid-19 in it. The purpose of this study is generally to look at factors related to the application of handwashing with soap to the elderly in the prevention of covid-19. This type of research is quantitative by using cross sectional design. The study sample was 64 elderly using Total Sampling. The location of this study was at the Tresna Werdha Khusnul Khotimah Social Service Technical Service Unit in April-May 2022. The results showed that knowledge (P value = 0.006, OR = 4,948), attitude (P value = 0.011, OR = 4,385), action (P value = 0.005, OR = 5,273), handwashing facilities with soap (P value = 0.035, OR = 3,438) means that there is a significant relationship with the application of handwashing with soap in the elderly in the prevention of Covid-19. It is recommended for the Social Service Technical Service Unit of Tresna Werdha Khusnul Khotimah to increase the application of washing tangsan with soap for the elderly by accompanying every activity to implement hand washing and providing campaign / educational media such as banners / posters regarding the application of handwashing with soap in the prevention of Covid-19.
