Abstract

Background: the incidence of nursing staff turnover during the Covid 19 pandemic was the highest among all staff with work agreements at the Dumai City Hospital. With the reduced number of nursing staff, the hospital is at risk of experiencing disruptions in the availability of human resources. Purpose: To eksplore the nursing staff retention program at the Dumai City Hospital. Method: This research was a phenomenological qualitative research, with a sample of 13 people. They were recruited using purposive sampling technique, and data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, FGD and document searches. Data were analyzed using the colaizzi methode which consist of nine stages. Results: It was found that staffing by the head of the room for nursing staff during the afternoon shift and night shift still needs to be improved, the orientation of new nursing staff is experiencing rapid progress with the publication of orientation guidebooks and orientation report cards, preceptorship and mentoring have taken place naturally and needs to be improved by making guidelines and SOP, nurse career paths are still focused on PK 1 nurse assessment, nursing staff rotation is carried out based on urgent needs and conditions. Conclusion: The nursing staff retention program at the Dumai City Hospital, namely staffing, orientation of nursing staff, preceptorship and mentoring, career development of nursing staff still needs to be improved and developed from aspects of planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating. So that the activities that have been taking place can be even better useful in preventing the turn over of nursing staff at the Dumai City Hospital. Abstract

Partisipasi kelompok lanjut usia untuk mendapatkan imunisasi COVID-19 masih rendah. Kemenkes melakukan beberapa kebijakan untuk memperluas cakupan diantarnya untuk memudahkan proses vaksinasi usia di atas 60 tahun dengan menyediakan sentra-sentra vaksinasi di sejumlah kota di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi partisipasi lanjut usia terhadap penerimaan vaksinasi COVID-19. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif analytic cross sectional study dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu kuota sampling, dilaksanakan di Wilayah Kerja Puskemas Pujud Kecamatan Pujud Kabupaten Rokan Hilir pada bulan Juni-Juli 2022. Populasi yaitu semua lansia yang berada di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Pujud Kecamatan Pujud Kabupaten Rokan Hilir yang berjumlah 2832 orang dan  sampel sebanyak 338 responden. Terdapat hubungan kepercayaan (0,001), kecemasan (0,013), kondisi fisik (0,001), dukungan keluarga (0,000), kemudahan akses layanan ( 0,000) dan Tidak terdapat hubungan stimulus (0,802) dalam partisipasi penerimaan vaksin COVID-19 pada lansia di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Pujud Kecamatan Pujud Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kondisi fisik lansia, akses layanan dan dukungan keluarga. Terdapat variabel Confounding yaitu kecemasan  dan  kepercayaan. Diharapakan kepada lansia untuk selalu menjaga kesehatan dengan menjaga asupan makan seperti pemenuhan gizi seimbang, kepada keluarga untuk mendampingi lansia saat akan melakukan vaksinasi, serta lansia datang tepat pada saat jadwal vaksinasi dan datang lebih awal dengan membawa identitas diri.

Abstract

Elderly Integrated Service Post is a public health effort in an elderly health program that aims to maintain the health and socio-economic productivity of the elderly. The Sungai Pakning Health Center has implemented an elderly health service program at the elderly Integrated Service Post but the program coverage is still low, namely 33% in 2022. The aim of the study was to evaluate health services at the elderly Integrated Service Post in the Work Area of the Sungai Pakning Health Center, Bengkalis Regency in 2023 using the CIPP method with context indicators input, process and product (output). This type of research is qualitative with a case study approach. There were 12 informants consisting of program holders for elderly services in Bengkalis Regency, persons in charge of the Sungai Pakning elderly health service program, doctors in charge, midwives, health promotion officers, cadres, the elderly and community leaders. The triangulation used is the triangulation of sources, methods and data. The results of the study show that the context (needs, problems, assets and opportunities) has been identified, inputs (human resources, funding, facilities and infrastructure) are still lacking for elderly Integrated Service Post activities, processes (promotive efforts, recording and reporting, monitoring and evaluation) have been carried out well, while preventive efforts are not in accordance with technical guidelines. The output has not reached the Bengkalis Regency target because the participation of the elderly in participating in elderly Integrated Service Post activities is still low, namely 33%. The health center can facilitate the formation of partnerships in each village through CSR with the private sector, businesses and community donations in facilitating facilities and infrastructure for the elderly Integrated Service Post. Community Health Centers can innovate digital-based counseling through Whatsapp Groups with elderly members or elderly families

Abstract

COVID-19 vaccination is one of the Indonesian government's efforts to create herd immunity to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. According to government regulations, COVID-19 vaccination coverage in Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau province has not yet reached the 100% target. This research aims to determine the description of COVID-19 vaccination activities in Rokan Hilir Regency in 2022. This research was qualitative research with a case study design. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. There were 6 informants in this study, namely one head of disease prevention and control, one head of the surveillance and immunization section of the Rokan Hilir District Health Service, two heads of Community Health Centers, and two community members who were willing or unwilling to be injected with the vaccine. The research instrument used observation sheets and in-depth interview guidelines. Data analysis uses data triangulation. Results: In general, the problem mapping is in accordance with existing policies. In preparing the work plan, first look at priority areas, namely the many targets. In implementing the COVID-19 vaccination, the vaccination team has worked according to the SOPs and policies that have been issued by the regional government. At the monitoring and evaluation stage of vaccine distribution, both division heads and section heads have monitored and evaluated to see that the government program has been implemented with various acceleration efforts and that the vaccines have been distributed well, although not all on time Conclusion: In distribution, you must always ensure that the vaccine is still at a cold temperature during preparation, it is best for recording and reporting to involve the Office of population

Abstract

Coronavirus (Covid-19) is a non-segmented single-stranded positive RNA virus. the Coronaviridae family, and the subfamily Orthocoronavirinae. Hygiene is health efforts by caring for and protecting the subject.. Positive cases of Covid-19 currently reach 63,360,234 million people worldwide with a total of 1,475,825 million deaths, Pekanbaru City has a total of 9,886 thousand cases of Covid-19 . the researcher took the research location in two places in Air Cold sub-district, these two locations have places to eat and quite a lot of buyers because this area is the location where students live and where students buy food, a place to relax and enjoy food with friends, and this location is in the UIR campus area which has a lot of visitors. This study aims to see how far the application of food management hygiene and sanitation has been applied during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is Qualitative Analysis using the Case Survey method and conducting observations and in-depth interviews. There were 12 informants in this study with 4 key informants as owners of the Ayam Penyet restaurant in Bukit Raya District, 4 main informants, namely employees of the Ayam Penyet restaurant, and 4 supporting informants, namely visitors. This research was conducted in January-July 2022. The results showed that there were several stages that did not meet the requirements based on KepMenkes RI No 942/MENKES/SK/VII/2003, including the stages of managing hygiene conditions, equipment sanitation, food storage, processing conditions food, food storage, food serving process and what meets the requirements is the condition of clean water. It is hoped that the two places to eat will maintain more hygiene and sanitation when handling food and during the Covid 19 period they should use health protocols such as using masks and glovesi.

Abstract

Introduction: The provision of optimal health services is determined by the quality of health workers. The research objective was to explore the factors that influence the performance of nurses in health service.Method: It was a quantitative analytic study with a cross-sectional design. A total of 58 nurses participated with a purposive random sampling technique. The data was collected by questionnaire and worksheets observation. The statistical analysis was done by Smart PLS (Partial Least Square).Result: This study showed that individual characteristics are correlated to job satisfaction (p-value 0.001) but not correlated with the performance of nurses (p-value 0.468). Organizational factors were correlated to job satisfaction (p-value 0.000) but not correlated to work performance (p-value 0.865). Job satisfaction was correlated to work performance (p-value 0.001). There was a negative correlation between individual characteristics and nurse performance (-0.466). Meanwhile, the organizational factor only has a direct effect of 0.025 on nurse performance. Only job satisfaction has a direct effect on nurse performance with an increase of 0.5 (50%) for every increase of one value of job satisfaction.Conclusion: Job satisfaction is a dominant factor that has a direct effect on nurse performance. Hospital management needs to consider health workforce planning, mapping, and development competency to optimize nurse performance.

Abstract

Workload, job stress, and working environment conditions also influence doctors' performance in the hospital environment. The doctors' performance can be assessed by evaluating the quality of healthcare services provided to patients. In addition to the factors above, compensation is another factor that affects doctors' performance. Satisfaction with compensation, both in the form of adequate financial and non-financial rewards, can enhance work motivation. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the performance of doctors working at the Dumai City Regional General Hospital and how these factors influence the performance of doctors at the Dumai City Regional General Hospital. This research is an analytical, quantitative, observational study with a Cross-Sectional design. The research was conducted at the Dumai City Regional General Hospital from July to August 2023. The population consisted of 72 individuals, and the sample size was 72 with the total sampling method. The inclusion criteria for the sample in this study were being a doctor by profession. Primary data in this research were obtained by filling out observation questionnaires and conducting interviews, while secondary data were obtained from documents available at the Dumai City Regional General Hospital. Data analysis was performed using multivariate analysis. The research results showed that motivation affects doctors' performance at a P value = 0.002 and POR = 3.667, while competency affects doctors' performance with a P value = 0.015 and POR = 1.372. In conclusion, motivation affects doctors' performance at the Dumai City Regional General Hospital, and competency also affects doctors' performance at the Dumai City Regional General Hospital.

Abstract

The Laboratory services at Awal Bros Hospital Pekanbaru used Laboratory Information System (LIS) program which connected to the Hospital Information System (HIS). In the implementation of these two systems, there are still obstacles that can hinder service to patients. The purpose of research was to obtain in-depth information on the obstacles faced in implemented the SIRS and LIS system connections at Awal Bros Hospital Pekanbaru. The methode of research used descriptive qualitative with purposive sampling. The Informan of research were 7 peoples. The Collecting data used in-depth interviews, direct observation and document review. The Data analysis used triangulation of methods, sources and data. The results of research showed that there was still a lack of IT human resources, amounted to 5 people, the lack of SIRS and LIS training amounted 20% of 1000 employees, there was no operating standard of HIS, nurses used pdf results to view laboratory examination results instead of EMR, and internet network problems. It can be concluded that the LIS connection with HIS has not gone well. It is necessary to add IT human resources, make operating standard of HIS, and viewer LIS programs from the HIS program.Keywords: HIS, ILS, System Connection

Abstract

Tetanus Toxoid Immunization in pregnant women or women of childbearing age can reduce the risk of Neonatal Tetanus incidence by 94%, making Tetanus Toxoid Immunization one of the main strategies in the successful implementation of the Elimination of Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus (ETMN) program. The percentage of coverage of pregnant women who received Td2 + was 42.8%. This is still far from the set target of 80%.  The aim was to analyze the factors associated with Tetanus Toxoid Immunization status in third trimester pregnant women at UPT Puskesmas Tembilahan Kota, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The research method used quantitative research methods with a Cross Sectionl design approach. The number of samples in this research amounted to 175 people. Data collection through primary data by distributing questionnaires. The results of this research indicated that there was a relationship between knowledge (p value = 0.008), attitude (p value = 0.010), occupation (p value = 0.011), parents in law or family support (p value = 0.005), health worker support (p value = 0.001), exposure to premarital counseling (p value = 0.046), social culture (p value = 0.007), the role of the KUA sector (p value = 0.003) with the completeness of TT immunization in third trimester pregnant women at the Tembilahan City Health Center. Conclusion, the variable role of the KUA sector is the dominant factor that most influences pregnant women in getting complete TT immunization with p value = 0.01, r2 = 0.252, and OR = 2.727. Suggest, the role of the KUA sector can be improve and cooperate with other cross-sectors, such as the RT / RW level, the Headman / and the Sub-district in monitoring and encouraging the society to check reproductive health including Tetanus Toxoid Immunization status.Keywords        : Factor, Tetanus Toxoid Immunization, Pregnant Mother
