Abstract

Good learning outcome evaluation questions must have a degree of difficulty that matches the level of learning outcomes being measured. To obtain good questions, a study has been conducted to assess the degree of difficulty of the test questions. The object of this research is the MA Islamiyah Senori Final Semester Exam questions. The analysis was performed using quantitative methods and a simple descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out by assessing each exam question. Based on the study's results, the difficulty of each question was evaluated. From the results, it was observed that the exam questions were distributed as 2 difficult, 9 medium, and 9 easy, out of 20. It can be inferred from the study's findings that promising findings can be used. While questions categorized as not good indicate that the level of difficulty is unbalanced, so they should be used again, it is necessary to carefully consider the analysis results of the questions in terms of their level of difficulty.

Abstract

The emergence of influencers from Islamic boarding school nyai circles who are active in endorsement activities is a new phenomenon that is quite interesting to study. Nyai's character, which is usually used as a means of Islamic preaching, is now being used in economic battles. Nyai, as role models for students and society in general, should display attitudes and behaviors that are in accordance with the teachings in Islamic boarding schools. However, in practice, Nyai endorsements actually appear to display a hedonistic lifestyle that is contrary to the value of simplicity. Based on this anxiety, researchers conducted a study on the practice of endorsing nyai on social media, as well as its impact on the concept of simple living taught in Islamic boarding schools. To analyze and answer this question, researchers collaborated on Vincent Mosco's commodification theory and Pierre Bourdieu's capital theory. This research is included in a phenomenological study with a qualitative research type. Data was obtained by conducting interviews and collecting documents. The results of the research show that in endorsement activities there were efforts to commodify the symbolic capital of the nyai as the kiai's wife/daughter. Apart from that, efforts were also found to commodify the Nyai's cultural capital, which included the Nyai's knowledge, her honest personality, and her skills in styling fashion that was trendy but still in accordance with the Shari'a. From these endorsement activities, it was found that there was an impact on the concept of simple living taught in Islamic boarding schools. Nyai's endorsement has been proven to be able to influence the consumption decisions of students who follow her, although not significantly enough

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence has brought significant changes to the education system, including in Islamic boarding schools. This study aims to analyze the integration of spiritual leadership values with the use of Artificial Intelligence in educational management and to formulate an effective spiritual leadership model to improve the quality of educational management at Gedangan Islamic Boarding School. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis was conducted thematically through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the integration of spiritual leadership values with the use of Artificial Intelligence is carried out by positioning technology as a learning support tool that remains based on the spiritual values of Islamic boarding schools. The spiritual leadership model is realized through four main principles: academic integrity in the use of artificial intelligence, selectivity in filtering digital information, exemplary behavior in the ethical and proportional use of technology, and scientific deepening by making artificial intelligence a learning aid, not a substitute for scientific authority. These findings indicate that spiritual leadership is capable of shaping ethical, selective, and constructive technology utilization governance in Islamic boarding school education management in the era of Artificial Intelligence.

Abstract

This study examines the governance of waqf ahli (family waqf) in Indonesia through a socio-legal perspective, focusing on its juridical challenges at the intersection of inheritance and Islamic philanthropy. Existing studies largely emphasize normative fiqh dimensions, with limited attention to how waqf ahli operates in practice within plural legal systems. This study fills a gap in the literature by analyzing the socio-legal dynamics of family waqf governance and its implications for legal certainty and institutional effectiveness. Using a qualitative socio-legal approach, the research combines normative legal analysis with empirical data from West Java, Jakarta, and Madura. The findings show that Muslim families construct wealth through a dual logic: inheritance continuity and perpetual charity. However, this integration generates governance challenges, including weak institutional structures, overlapping roles between heirs and managers, and ambiguity in ownership and decision-making. These issues are exacerbated by inadequate legal frameworks that do not fully accommodate the specific characteristics of waqf ahli, leading to frequent intra-family disputes and inefficient asset management. To address these challenges, this study proposes a Hybrid Waqf Governance model that integrates familial participation with formal institutional management, emphasizing legal clarity, role standardization, and structured dispute resolution. This study contributes to socio-legal theory by demonstrating how legal pluralism shapes the governance of Islamic philanthropic institutions and by offering a context-specific governance model for improving accountability and sustainability of family waqf.

Abstract

Poverty is defined based on the failure of individuals to meet their primary life needs. Poverty has a tremendous negative impact on the life of the individual and community level. All societies in the world have made efforts to overcome this challenge. This study uses a qualitative approach by collecting verses related to poverty and presenting them in a categorization form to obtain an intervention level. Islam, through the Qur’an, has presented a comprehensive system to overcome this poverty problem. At the individual level, poverty can be reduced by providing aqidah concepts regarding sustenance, increasing skills and creativity, and encouragement to work hard while still paying attention to sustainability aspects. At the community level, the Qur’an recommends building a social welfare net through philanthropic movements and the spirit of altruism and stipulating religious obligations and suggestions regarding the distribution of wealth
