Abstract

Kegiatan Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan merupakan salah satu program pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan di SDN 1 Kadolomoko yang bertujuan untuk membantu mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan dan memantapkan kompetensi kependidikan dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang tinggi. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini mahasiswa akan melakukan observasi terhadap budaya sekolah, pengamatan proses pembelajaran di kelas dan mengembangkat perangkat pembelajaran. Program ini dapat terealisasi karena adanya kerja sama dengan kepala sekolah dan guru serta staf SDN 1 Kadolomoko yang turut membimbing mahasiswa dalam melakukan kegiatan ini. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam tiga tahap yaitu, tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap analisis hasil dan refleksi. Hasil pengabdian di SDN 1 Kadolomoko menunjukan bahwa mahasiswa siap mengajar dengan indicator pencapaian yang sangat baik dengan nilai bobot 1,093 dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 90,27. Indicator yang ditetapkan melalui penilaian pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran, kompetensi kepribadian dan sosial, serta penilaian pembelajaran. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa kompetensi akademik yang didapatkan di kampus dapat diterapkan dengan baik di lapangan persekolahan.

Abstract

Background: Traditional medicine plays a role in alternative treatment systems for diabetes mellitus. Objectives: This study aimed to screen the secondary metabolite of the ethanol extract from robusta coffee (Coffea canephora Pierre) seeds. We aimed to clarify the effects of these extracts on blood glucose, urea, and creatinine levels in Streptozotocin-Induced Diabetic Rats. Material and Methods: Phytochemical screening of extracts was carried out qualitatively according to standard methods. The rats were administered ethanol extracts of C. canephora Pierre seeds at doses of 100, 200, and 300 mg/kg body weight for 28 days. Blood glucose, urea, and creatinine levels were then compared between the control and diabetes groups. Results: The ethanol extract of C. canephora Pierre seeds contains alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, and tannins. Group doses of 100-300 mg/kg body weight can significantly reduce blood glucose, urea, and creatinine levels. It can be concluded that the ethanol extract C. canephora Pierre seeds is a potential source of antidiabetic. Conclusions: The ethanol extract of C. canephora Pierre seeds shows potential as an antidiabetic agent.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsepsi peserta didik pada materi hidrokarbon. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang mendeskripsikan konsepsi peserta didik yang meliputi pemahaman konsep, miskonsepsi, dan tidak paham konsep. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 112 siswa yang berasal dari 2 sekolah SMA yakni SMAN 1 Balaesang dan SMAN 2 Balaesang yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Balaesang Kabupaten Donggala, Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh sehingga seluruh populasi menjadi sampel penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes diagnostik two tier dengan nilai validitas sebesar 0,88 dan nilai reliabilitas sebesar 0,77 dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsepsi peserta didik di SMAN 1 Balaesang untuk kategori paham konsep sebesar 64,4%, untuk kategori miskonsepsi sebesar 23,4%, dan untuk kategori tidak paham konsep sebesar 12,2%. Konsepsi peserta didik di SMAN 2 Balaesang untuk kategori paham konsep sebesar 59,9%, kategori miskonsepsi sebesar 26,1%, dan kategori tidak paham konsep sebesar 13,9%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pendapatan dan strategi pemasaaraan gula aren di Desa Bonto Katute Kecamatan Sinjai Borong. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember sampai bulan Januari 2024. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara purposive sebanyak 30 petani aren. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder serta menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa Wawancara, Observasi dan Kuesioner. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini berupa analisis pendapatan dan strategi pemasaraan yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat Desa Bonto Katute serta strategi yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengembangkan produksi gula aren. Berdasarkan temuan lapangan dan analisis perhitungan bahwa Total biaya produksi gula aren tiap bulan yaitu Rp 4,210.000, terdiri dari biaya tetap sebesar Rp 250.000 dan biaya variabel sebesar Rp 3,960.000. Adapun besarnya penerimaan dan pendapatan dari produksi gula aren penerimaan sebesar Rp 5,680.000 dan pendapatan sebesar Rp 1,470.000 tiap bulan.. Adapun kendala yang dihadapi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah yang didukung oleh media interaktif YouTube dan Quizizz pada materi Sistem Persamaan Linier Dua Variabel di kelas IX Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 Sungguminasa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 36 peserta didik kelas IX G Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 Sungguminasa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan tes, yang dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan media interaktif. Pada siklus kedua, hasil belajar matematika peserta didik meningkat secara signifikan dan memenuhi indikator keberhasilan penelitian. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan media interaktif efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas IX G Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 Sungguminasa.

Abstract

Good education is greatly influenced by the learning media used. The right media can make the teaching and learning process more effective and enjoyable, making it easier for students to understand the material. Apart from that, interesting media can also increase students' learning motivation. In Community Service (PKM) with the theme Training on Using Canva as a Learning Media at SMA 19 Gowa, this activity aims to provide learning to teachers so that they can use Canva as a teaching aid. The implementation method includes a direct approach, practice, preparing interesting material, providing facilities, guidance, and evaluation to measure the results of the questionnaires that we distribute. The results of the questionnaire showed that 15 female participants and 8 male participants felt very satisfied. The assessment of the PKM facilitator was also positive, with 13 female teachers and 6 male teachers assessing the facilitator as very good. In assessing the relevance of the training, 7 participants said it was very relevant, 1 participant was relevant, and 8 participants were quite relevant. The participants wanted ongoing material regarding the use of Canva in creating learning slides. Through this PKM, we have succeeded in providing a positive impact and new skills in using innovative learning media, so that teachers are expected to be more effective in teaching and improve the quality of education at SMA 19 Gowa.

Abstract

First aid is the initial treatment for handling burns with the use of natural ingredients that are fast and precise and can improve the healing process, prevent the severity of injuries, reduce pain, and save lives. This community service activity aims to increase public knowledge about the use of tembelekan leaves as first aid for burns. The community service method is carried out by providing socialization in the form of counseling which is followed by a discussion session, questions and answers, and distributing questionnaires to measure community satisfaction with the service. Community service was carried out on November 30, 2024, with the target of the activity being the community in the Lambara Village Area, especially RT 09. The results of community satisfaction with the service carried out were community satisfaction with the method of delivering PKM material, the PKM program was by community needs, the PKM program improved thinking skills, the PKM program could be applied by the community and the community was willing to participate/get involved again, the average result was very satisfied, namely 90.83%, It can be concluded that this PKM activity is very beneficial for the Lambara Village community, especially RT 09.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' conceptions of reaction rate topics using the three-tier multi-representation test. Based on the characteristics of reaction rates concepts that involve the understanding of multiple representations, it is essential to analyze student conceptions that include multiple representations, namely macroscopic, microscopic, and symbolic. A three-tier diagnostic test can be done to assess students' conceptions, with the questions given in the first tier presented with macroscopic, microscopic, or symbolic representations according to the characteristics of the concept in question. This research uses a descriptive quantitative method conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 in Palu City, Central Sulawesi. The subjects of this study were 50 students consisting of 28 female students and 22 male students. It was determined by random sampling technique. Instrumentation used a three-tier representation test with 15 multiple-choice questions. Validation of instruments showed that the questions were feasible and fell into the high category. The findings reveal that only 29 % of students know the concept, categorized as low. Additionally, 40 % of students were identified as having misconceptions, placing them within the medium category, while 31 % of students exhibited not knowing the concept, also classified in the medium category. Symbolic representation emerged as the most challenging representation for students, with 35 % failing to comprehend it, categorized as medium. Furthermore, among students with misconceptions, symbolic and macroscopic representations were the most problematic, collectively accounting for 34 %, also classified as medium. These results underscore the need for targeted instructional strategies to address specific areas of difficulty and improve overall conceptual understanding.

Abstract

Alitupu Village, located in Napu Valley, North Lore District, Poso Regency, Central Sulawesi Province has the highest prevalence rate of schistosomiasis in humans, which is around 3.36%. Praziquantel as an antischistosomiasis causes side effects such as increased SGPT and SGOT, which is an obstacle in eradicating schistosomiasis, therefore developing natural resources with plants that have been proven to have properties as anthelmintic drugs, namely areca nut in the form of nanoparticles to maximize the biological availability of drugs given orally. This community service activity was carried out for 2 days in community groups and Gapoktan farmer groups with a socialization method by providing a pre-test, posters followed by a discussion session, questions and answers, and post-test and practice of making areca nut nanoparticles and making toilets followed by measuring satisfaction with community service by giving questionnaires to a total of 50 respondents. The results of the activity, the community was very enthusiastic and could increase their knowledge through the post-test. From the pretest calculation results of 24.4 and the posttest results obtained 86.8 people know how to prevent schistosomiasis. The results of the community satisfaction assessment showed that in general partners were satisfied with the activity by 92%. It can be concluded that this PKM activity is very beneficial for the people of Alitipu Village.

Abstract

Research has been carried out regarding the evaluation of scattered radiation dose during CT scans of the thorax on the gonads and thyroid using 30 patients with CT scans of the thorax. In this study, the radiation dose received by thorax CT Scan patients was measured using TLD-100 which was placed at 3 measurement points on the patient. The first point was placed on the thyroid using 1 TLD, the second point on the thorax using 2 TLDs, and the third point was placed on the gonads using 1 TLD. The thorax CT Scan examination used a tube voltage of 120 kV. The results showed that the DLP and CTDIvol values ​​affected the value of the effective dose received. The average values ​​of CTDIvol and DLP were 6.268 mGy and 782.196 mGy.cm and the average thorax dose was 2.495 mSv. The average CTDIvol and DLP values ​​obtained in the study did not exceed the threshold set by the BAPETEN Regulation in 2021, namely the CTDIvol and DLP values ​​were 16 mGy and 810 mGy.cm. Radiation that affects the gonads and thyroid organs is scattered radiation. The average radiation dose received on the gonads and thyroid organs was 0.121 mSv and 0.485 mSv. The average dose value received did not exceed the dose received on the thorax and the radiation dose received on the thyroid was greater than the radiation dose received on the gonads. This is because the thyroid organ is closer to the irradiation area than the gonad organ.
