Abstract

ABSTRAK Terapi komplementer merupakan bidang ilmu kesehatan yang berperan dalam menangani berbagai penyakit dengan teknik tradisional, yang juga dikenal sebagai pengobatan alternatif. Terapi komplementer telah diakui dan dapat dipakai sebagai pendamping terapi konvensional medis. Pemanfaatan terapi komplementer dalam masa bersalin harus diawasi dan dipastikan aman bagi proses persalinan ibu sehingga tidak menimbulkan efek negatif baik pada ibu maupun bayi. Meningkatkan keterampilan ibu hamil yang akan bersalin tentang pemanfatan terapi komplementer untuk mengurangi nyeri persalinan meliputi cara pengolahan bahan herbal sampai teknik-teknik message. Meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan serta kualitas KIE bidan dalam memberikan informasi tentang pemanfatan terapi komplementer untuk mengurangi nyeri persalinan. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah program pendidikan masyarakat melalui pelatihan, Edukasi, pendampingan dan sosialisasi terapi komplementer untuk nyeri persalinan. Terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan penyuluhan yaitu 16 % sebelum penyuluhan dan 84% sesudah diberikan penyuluhan. Terjadi keterampilan yang signifikan setelah diberikan pelatihan pemanfaatan terapi komplementer (pemberian Darkchocolate, pemberian aroma terapi, birthball dan pemberian jus wortel. Suluruh peserta telah mengerti pemanfaatan terapi komplementer untuk mengurangi nyeri persalinan dan peserta juga sudah terampil membuat Darkchocolate, pemberian aromaterapi, birthball dan pemberian jus wortel untuk mengurangi nyeri persalinan. Kata Kunci: Pengabmas, Nyeri Persalinan,Terapi Komplementer  ABSTRACT Complementary therapy is a field of health science that plays a role in treating various diseases using traditional techniques, which is also known as alternative medicine. Complementary therapy has been recognized and can be used as a companion to conventional medical therapy. The use of complementary therapies during the birthing period must be monitored and ensured that it is safe for the mother's birthing process so that it does not cause negative effects on either the mother or the baby. Improve the skills of pregnant women who are about to give birth regarding the use of complementary therapies to reduce labor pain, including processing herbal ingredients to message techniques. Increase the knowledge, skills and quality of midwives' KIE in providing information about the use of complementary therapies to reduce labor pain. The service method used in this activity is a community education program through training, education, mentoring and socialization of complementary therapies for labor pain. There was an increase in knowledge before and after being given counseling, namely 16% before counseling and 84% after being given counseling. Significant skills occurred after being given training in the use of complementary therapies (giving Darkchocolate, giving aromatherapy, birthball and giving carrot juice. All participants understood the use of complementary therapies to reduce labor pain and participants were also skilled at making Darkchocolate, providing aromatherapy, birth balls and administering carrot juice to reduce labor pain. Keywords: Community Service, Labor Pain, Complementary Therapy

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kegiatan edukasi dan pendampingan pembuatan jamu herbal melibatkan 38 peserta yang diikuti mayoritas kaum ibu dan kalangan remaja yang dilaksanakan di Desa Popalia Kecamatan Tanggetada. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan, kemampuan dan keterampilan masyarakat Desa Popalia agar dapat memproduksi jamu herbal secara mandiri dan inovatif. Jamu herbal yang diproduksi dapat dinikmati di kalangan keluarga dan dipasarkan di masyarakat luas. Luaran kegiatan edukasi dan pendampingan pembuatan jamu yaitu memberikan solusi pengetahuan pembuatan jamu dengan memanfaatkan tanaman rempah lokal dan keterampilan dalam pembuatan produk jamu herbal sehingga menjadi lapangan pekerjaan untuk peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat. Selain itu, masyarakat diharapkan memahami khasiat dan manfaat yang terkandung dalam jamu herbal dalam menjaga kesehatan dan peningkatan daya tahan tubuh. Kegiatan edukasi dan pendampingan pembuatan jamu dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah dan diskusi, sementara itu kegiatan pendampingan pembuatan jamu dilakukan dengan metode praktik langsung. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian ini, masyarakat Desa Popalia memperoleh pengetahuan, kemampuan dan keterampilan dalam pengolahan dan pembuatan jamu sebagai upaya pemanfaatan tanaman rempah lokal. Kata Kunci: Edukasi, Pemberdayaan Masyarakat, Rempah, Jamu  ABSTRACT Educational activitity and assistance of the making of herbal jamu which is involved 38 participants of mothers and adolescents was held in Popalia Village of Tanggetada District. The purpose of this activity was to increase the knowledge, abilities, and skills of the people of Popalia Village so that they can produce herbal jamu independently and innovatively. So that the herbal medicine produced can be enjoyed among families and marketed in the wider community. The output of educational activities and assistance in making herbal medicine is to provide solutions for the knowledge of making herbal medicine by utilizing local spices and skills in the manufacture of herbal medicinal products so that they become jobs to increase people's income. Besides, the public is expected to understand the properties and benefits contained in herbal medicine in maintaining health and increasing endurance. Educational activities and assistance in making herbal medicine are carried out using the lecture and discussion method, while the accompanying activities for making herbal medicine are carried out using the direct practice method. Abstract

ABSTRAK Stunting masih menjadi masalah gizi kronis di Indonesia, sehingga melalui Program Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Nasional (RJPM) pemerintah menargetkan pada tahun 2025 akan mengurangi 40% jumlah balita pendek. Upaya dalam pencegahan stunting adalah perubahan perilaku masyarakat melalui program promosi kesehatan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat yang semuanya berupaya untuk melakukan intervensi dalam perubahan perilaku positif terkait dengan pengetahuan ibu tentang asupan gizi selama hamil, melahirkan dan anak sebelum usia 2 tahun. Sosialisasi tentang pentingnya pencegahan stunting dapat dilakukan lebih ringan dan menarik serta tidak membosankan terutama dikalangan remaja. Remaja putri yang nantinya sebagai calon ibu sebagai target indikator utama kelompok sasaran percepatan penurunan stunting. Pemberian edukasi atau pendidikan kesehatan dengan menggunakan booklet sangat efektif digunakan sebagai media informasi tentang upaya pencegahan stunting pada remaja. Meningkatkan pengetahuan pada remaja tentang upaya pencegahan stunting melalui media booklet. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah intervensi edukasi stunting melalui media booklet. Adanya perbedaan nilai pengetahuan antara sebelum dan sesudah remaja putri diberikan edukasi dengan kategori baik yaitu 66,7% menjadi 86,7%. Pemberian edukasi pada remaja dalam upaya pencegahan dini stunting dapat meningkatkan pemahaman remaja tentang pencegahan stunting. Remaja putri sebagai calon ibu di masa depan diharapkan memiliki pengetahuan tentang stunting dan upaya pencegahannya. Kata Kunci: Booklet, Education, Stunting  ABSTRACT Efforts to monitor the growth and development of early childhood are primarily the task of the family and community and are assisted by posyandu cadres through posyandu activities. The Posyandu program is carried out in each village by cadres who have been given knowledge and training by health workers to disseminate knowledge about health, especially child growth and development among parents. Generally, posyandu activities include weighing toddlers and providing nutrition, so that the main target of posyandu is more focused on the physical growth stage. Therefore, it is necessary to provide knowledge to the public about early detection of child development, so that preventive measures can be taken to overcome developmental disorders in toddlers. This service activity is to increase the community's knowledge and abilities regarding stimulating the development of children aged 12-18 months as an effort to detect early child growth and development. Service activities are carried out using counseling and training methods followed by roleplay with the target community in Sungai Pauh Village, West Langsa District, Langsa City in August 2023 with a target number of 40 people. there was a difference in knowledge scores between before and after the community was given counseling in the good category, namely 47.5% to 90% and the skills of the participants before and after the community were given training, the majority had good skills at 87.5%. Through this activity, people experience increased knowledge and skills, and it is important for mothers to monitor children's growth and development through stimulation that is appropriate to the child's age development stages. Keywords: Monitoring, Development, Baby, Society

Abstract

ABSTRAK Keberhasilan pembangunan suatu bangsa ditentukan oleh tersedianya sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas, yaitu sumber daya yang tangguh secara fisik, kuat mental, bugar, dan cerdas. Stunting adalah masalah kekurangan gizi kronis yang disebabkan oleh kekurangan asupan gizi yang cukup lama, sehingga mengakibatkan terhambatnya pertumbuhan anak yaitu kurang gizi. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi penurunan tersebut dari sudut pandang ibu adalah status gizi buruk pada masa pubertas, calon pengantin, pada masa hamil dan menyusui, terdapat beberapa penyakit seperti kekurangan energi kronis yang diukur dengan lingkar lengan atas (LILA), anemia (kekurangan sel darah merah) dan juga tingkat pendidikan ibu. Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu hamil Yang Mengalami Kekurangan Energi Kronik (KEK) dan Anemia dalam Mencegah Stunting melalui edukasi media audio visual. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah program pendidikan masyarakat melalui penyuluhan, ceramah, Tanya jawab dan menonton video untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil dalam pencegahan stunting. Melalui Edukasi media audio visual dapat mencegah terjadinya kekurangan energi kronik (kek) dan anemia pada ibu hamil, terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan penyuluhan yaitu 5 % sebelum penyuluhan dan 27% sesudah diberikan penyuluhan. Suluruh peserta telah mengerti dan terjadi peningkatan ilmu pengetahuan di bidang kesehatan kepada masyarakat dalam rangka menurunkan angka kesakitan akibat dari stunting. Kata Kunci: Stunting, KEK dan Anemia Pada Ibu Hamil  ABSTRACT The success of a nation's development is determined by the availability of quality human resources, namely resources that are physically tough, mentally strong, fit and intelligent. Stunting is a chronic malnutrition problem caused by a long-term lack of nutritional intake, resulting in stunted growth in children, namely malnutrition. One of the factors that influences this decline from the mother's perspective is poor nutritional status during puberty, prospective brides, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, there are several diseases such as chronic energy deficiency as measured by upper arm circumference, anemia (lack of blood cells). red) and also the mother's education level. Increasing the knowledge and skills of pregnant women experiencing Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) and anemia in preventing stunting through audio-visual media education. The service method used in this activity is a community education program through counseling, lectures, questions and answers and watching videos to increase the knowledge of pregnant women in preventing stunting. There was an increase in knowledge before and after being given counseling, namely 5% before counseling and 27% after being given counseling. Abstract

ABSTRACT Continuity of Care is a continuous service starting from pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborn care (BBL), and family planning (KB) services. The research design is descriptive, and the type of research is a case study. Continuous midwifery care was provided to Mrs. M. Data collection techniques Data collection includes observation, physical examination, and documentation. Comprehensive midwifery care was provided to Mrs. M, G2P1A0, aged 25 years. Midwifery care during the third trimester of pregnancy with complaints of back pain, so care provided included a gym ball and warm compresses. The mother also felt tired and difficulty sleeping, so care included lavender aromatherapy and date juice. During the first stage of labor, the mother felt anxious, so she listened to the recitation of the Quran and received Effleurage Massage. During the second stage of labor, the mother pushed effectively, and the baby was born spontaneously weighing 3500 grams, crying, with active movements and a pink skin color. The umbilical cord was delayed in cutting for 2 minutes, followed by Early Breastfeeding Initiation (EBI). cord clamping for 2 minutes followed by Early Breastfeeding Initiation (EBI). Neonatal care included eye ointment, vitamin K, and HB 0. During the 6-hour postpartum care, breastfeeding techniques were taught, and education on the benefits of sweet potato leaves to increase breast milk production was provided. On the fourth postpartum visit, Mrs. M complained of perineal wound pain; care provided included education on the benefits of boiled betel leaf water. Mrs. M's baby had heat rash (Miliriasis), so Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) was provided, along with a booklet on early detection of childhood diseases. On the 14th postpartum visit, instructions were given on store breast milk and recommended that the baby receive the BCG vaccination. Family planning care for Mrs. M used the Lactational Amenorrhea Method (LAM). After completing LAM, Mrs. M continued with the mini-pill. Comprehensive midwifery care for Mrs. M was conducted Keywords: Care, Comprehensive, Evidence-Based Midwifery.    ABSTRAK Continuity of Care merupakan pelayanan yang berkelanjutan mulai dari kehamilan, persalinan, nifas, pelayanan Bayi Baru Lahir (BBL) serta pelayanan Keluarga Berencana (KB). Desain penelitian deskriptif dan jenis penelitian Studi Kasus. Asuhan kebidanan secara berkesinambungan pada Ny.M. Tehnik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, pemeriksaan fisik dan dokumentasi. Asuhan kebidanan komprensif diberikan pada Ny. M G2P1A0 usia 25 tahun. Asuhan Kebidanan kehamilan trimester III dengan keluhan nyeri punggung sehingga asuhan yang diberikan Gymball dan kompres hangat. Ibu juga merasa lelah dan sulit tidur asuhan diberikan Aromaterapi Lavender dan jus kurma. Asuhan Kebidanan persalinan kala I pase aktif ibu merasa cemas, ibu mendengarkan murotal Al Quran dan dilakukan Effluarege Massage. Kala II persalinan ibu mengedan dengan baik, bayi lahir spontan dengan berat 3500 gram, menangis, gerakan aktif, warna kulit kemerahan. Dilakukan penundaan pemotongan tali pusat selama 2 menit dilanjutkan Inisiasi Menyusu Dini (IMD).       Asuhan BBL diberikan salep mata, vitamin K dan HB 0. Pada asuhan nifas 6 jam, diajarkan tehnik menyusui, edukasi manfaat daun ubi jalar meningkatkan produksi ASI. Kunjungan nifas hari keempat Ny.M mengeluh nyeri luka perineum, asuhan yang diberikan edukasi manfaat air rebusan daun sirih. Bayi Ny. M mengalami biang keringat (Miliriasis) sehingga diberikan Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) dan memberikan booklet tentang deteksi dini penyakit anak. Kunjungan nifas hari ke empat belas postpartum mengajarkan cara menyimpan ASI dan menganjurkan agar bayi diberikan imunisasi BCG. Asuhan KB pada Ny.M menggunakan Metode Amenore Laktasi (MAL). Setelah selesai MAL Ny.M dilanjutkan dengan mini pil. Asuhan kebidanan Komprehensif pada Ny. M dilaksanakan berdasarkan Evidence Based Midwifery. Kata Kunci: Asuhan, Komprehensif, Evidence-Based Midwifery.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the description of students' problem solving skills and the effect of gamification learning on students' problem solving ability. The population in this study consisted of 87 people. the research sample was selected based on purposive sampling technique so that the total sample in this study was 56 students who were divided into 2 classes, namely 28 people in the experimental class and 28 people in the control class. Students' problem solving ability was measured using a problem solving rubric developed by The Association of American Colleges and Universities (2017).  Data analysis used descriptive and inferential data analysis. The results of descriptive data analysis showed that the average value of the experimental class problem solving ability was 80.36 higher than the control class which was 72.86. The results of inferential data analysis with independent sample t-test showed that the significance value of the data was 0.001 (<0.05). Based on the research data, it can be concluded that there is an effect of gamification learning integrated with local wisdom based on character education on students' problem solving ability.

Abstract

Durian seeds have a high starch content, making it possible to be used as a raw material for making tempeh as an alternative to soybeans This research aims to make tempeh using durian seeds as raw material and determine the taste of durian seed tempeh using organoleptic tests. The method used to make tempeh from durian seeds is by fermentation, the durian seed samples are washed, cleaned, then boiled and the hard skin removed, then sliced and steamed until soft. The final stage of the two-day fermentation process continues with packaging. To determine suitability for consumption, an organoleptic/taste test (color, taste, texture and aroma) is carried out. The panelists who determined the taste consisted of several people from the Chemistry Study Program, FKIP UNTAD. The results of the study showed that durian seed tempeh was less white compared to soybean tempeh. The panelists' organoleptic tests for color liking levels stated that they liked 50% and disliked 50%, for taste 60% liked, liked 10% and disliked 30%, and texture panelists stated that they liked 60% and disliked 40% and 70% liked the aroma and 30% disliked it. The conclusion obtained in this research is that durian seeds can be used as an alternative for making tempeh and can reduce durian seed waste

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbasis media interaktif youtube dan Quizizz pada materi Sistem Persamaan Linier Dua Variabel di kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Sungguminasa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Subyek yang menerima tindakan adalah peserta didik kelas IX G SMP Negeri 1 Sungguminasa sebanyak 36 peserta didik. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan tes. Dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dan analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi SPLDV. Terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik pada siklus satu, namun peningkatan tersebut belum mencapai indikator keberhasilan penelitian sehingga tindakan dilanjutkan di siklus 2. Pada siklus 2, terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik dan sudah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan penelitian. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal yang semula pada siklus I mencapai 66,67% (24 peserta didik tuntas) menjadi 94,44% pada siklus II (34 peserta didik tuntas). Simpulan, model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IX G SMP Negeri 1 Sungguminasa.

Abstract

The study focused on analyzing the secondary metabolites present in the ethanol extract of Sonchus arvensis L. leaves (SALEE) and their impact on creatinine and urea levels when administered in suspension form at different doses. Phytochemical screening of SALEE identified alkaloids, flavonoids, phenols, saponins, and tannins. In the experiment, twenty-five white male rats were divided into five groups: a healthy control group (Group I), a negative control group (Group II), and three test groups (Groups III, IV, and V) receiving SALEE at doses of 200, 300, and 400 mg/kg BW, respectively. After inducing diabetes with streptozotocin and a 21-day follow-up period, creatinine and urea levels were assessed. The results demonstrated that SALEE administration significantly reduced creatinine levels and increased urea levels. Notably, the 200 mg/kg BW dose of SALEE exhibited a consistent and long-term effect. It was observed that blood urea levels fluctuated even in healthy and negative control groups during the 21-day observation period. In the group receiving the highest dose of SALEE (400 mg/kg BW), blood urea levels increased significantly on days 14 and 21, indicating a potential increase in the rats' appetite rather than renal function failure. Overall, the findings suggest that SALEE has promising potential to regulate creatinine and urea levels in the blood of individuals with diabetes, highlighting its potential for therapeutic and supplemental use.

Abstract

Low student interest in Islamic Religious Education and Character Building at the vocational high school (SMK) level remains a challenge, especially under conventional, teacher-centered approaches. This study aimed to enhance studentsÔÇÖ learning interest by applying the gamified MURDER strategy in the classroom. Using the Kurt Lewin Classroom Action Research model, the research was conducted in two cycles comprising planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, interviews, tests, and documentation. Findings showed a significant increase in student learning interest, with student activity rising from 65.5% (pre-cycle) to 95.5% (cycle II), and teacher activity from 81.1% to 95.5%. Students responded positively, describing the learning as more engaging, interactive, and confidence-building. The gamified MURDER strategy proved to be an effective alternative for improving both student interest and instructional quality in Islamic Religious Education and Character Building, and it is recommended for broader use in character-focused, student-centered learning contexts.┬á┬á
