Abstract

Perencanaan kebutuhan Guru dan TU merupakan faktor penting pada peningkatan mutu pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Analisis kebutuhan guru dan TU di SMPN 28; 2) Memahami mutu perkembangan belajar siswa; 3) Mendeskripsikan faktor apa saja yang penting untuk dipersiapkan oleh guru dalam mewujudkan kegiatan belajar mengajar yang aktif, kreatif, dan menyenangkan; dan 4) Menggali sejauh mana peningkatan mutu pembelajaran di SMPN 28 Surabaya. Penerapan metode kualitatif deskriptif yaitu dengan observasi dan wawancara sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menginformasikan bahwasanya kebutuhan Guru dan TU di SMPN 28 Surabaya terpenuhi secara maksimal, terbukti dengan meningkatnya mutu pembelajaran peserta didik yang mampu meraih prestasi akademik dan non akademik dalam ajang kompetisi.

Abstract

The zoning system policy is to improve the quality of education in all schools and to equalize the quality of education in each region. With this zoning system, we can see that there are no longer superior or favourite schools. All schools have good educational services to improve the quality of education in their schools. This research uses a type of descriptive research using a case study design because the information is obtained from the researchers direct presence in the field. The research results show that the PPDB zoning system at SMPN 59 Surabaya runs effectively and efficiently. They carry out this policy based on the system from the education office without making any changes at all. School principals have special strategies to improve the quality and quality education staff to accommodate all forms of student competency received. This zoning system creates equality between schools so that everything is the same and equal. The impact of implementing this policy includes increasing acces to education for people in remote or less developed areas, as well as reducing the level of competition to enter superior schools

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah kunci utama dalam membangun masyarakat yang maju dan berkelanjutan. Penempatan guru memiliki peran penting dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang diinginkan, melalui pemilihan yang tepat berdasarkan kompetensi, kebutuhan siswa, dan karakteristik lingkungan belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mendalami peran penting penempatan guru. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi antara berbagai pihak di sekolah dan dinas pendidikan adalah kunci dalam memastikan penempatan guru yang sesuai. Selain itu, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan diferensiasi strategi pembelajaran juga menjadi faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran. Dengan penempatan guru yang tepat dan implementasi strategi pembelajaran yang efektif, pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran yang diinginkan dapat tercapai, serta meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

In an institution, especially a school, there must always be a program to improve the quality in it. Supporting factors for the running of a quality improvement program require educators who are able to run the program well. Teachers take an important role in the world of education in charge of educating and guiding students. The performance of teaching staff must pay great attention to the implementation of, and in a private school there are permanent teacher educators and non-permanent teachers. The distinction between the two is that non-permanent teachers are needed when there is a shortage of educators and another distinction is that they do not have positions, so they only assist permanent teachers, even so this can provide opportunities for college graduates who want to become teachers to have the opportunity to develop competencies and careers. Abstract

Today's society is very concerned about the quality of a school or educational institution, many educators are not linear with their educational experience so that they are lacking in mastering the concept of learning and the material to be delivered in the teaching and learning process. Every educational institution, especially in Senior High School, which has a very important role in tracing the success of students in the future, the hope of every school is to get quality, competent human resources, and be able to compete in the globalization era. This of course must be considered, especially in the recruitment and selection sistem for educators and education personnel. The purpose of this article is to find out the recruitment and selection sistem of teaching staff and education personnel in improving the quality of education at SMPN 34 Surabaya. The method used is observation in the form of interviews, namely getting information from sources and data from relevant references.

Abstract

Teacher career development is an important aspect in improving professionalism and the quality of education in elementary schools. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the career development program in increasing teacher professionalism at SDN Pakis 1/368. This research uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. Through observations, interviews and analysis of documents related to career development programs and teacher professionalism, the research results show that the career development program at SDN Pakis 1/368 has had a positive impact in increasing teacher professionalism. Teachers who participated in the program demonstrated improvements in understanding of current educational concepts, teaching skills, and motivation to improve their performance. In addition, participation in career development activities also increases collaboration between teachers and strengthens a culture of continuous learning in schools. The practical implications of these findings can help policy makers and educational practitioners in designing and implementing effective career development programs to improve the quality of education at the educational level. base.

Abstract

Pemutusan hubungan kerja di ranah pendidikan adalah pengakhiran hubungan kerja karena suatu hal tertentu yang mengakibatkan berakhirnya hak dan kewajiban antara Pendidik atau Tenaga Kependidikan. SMPN 20 Surabaya tidak pernah ada pemecatan pegawai dalam implementasi pemutusan hubungan kerja, tetapi lebih terputusnya hubungan kerja akibat pensiun ataupun kematian. Pensiun menjadi titik akhir dari karir seseorang di dunia kerja, yang sering kali diikuti dengan pemutusan hubungan kerja. Pemutusan hubungan kerja akibat pensiun dapat terjadi karena berbagai faktor, seperti tercapainya batas usia pensiun yang ditetapkan oleh peraturan perusahaan atau undang-undang yang berlaku. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki bagaimana pemutusan hubungan kerja akibat pensiun memengaruhi pekerja dan organisasi. Metode penelitian kualitatif digunakan dengan mewawancarai salah satu tenaga pendidik yang tugasnya adalah menangani guru yang pensiun. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pemutusan hubungan kerja akibat pensiun itu melewati beberapa prosedur khusus. Di sisi lain, organisasi dapat menghadapi tantangan dalam mengelola pemutusan hubungan kerja ini secara efektif, termasuk kehilangan pengetahuan dan pengalaman yang berharga dari pekerja yang pensiun. Oleh karena itu, rekomendasi diberikan untuk meningkatkan proses transisi bagi pekerja yang pensiun dan untuk mengembangkan strategi pengelolaan pengetahuan yang lebih baik bagi organisasi dalam menghadapi pemutusan hubungan kerja akibat pensiun.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan sistem penempatan dan penugasan pendidik di SDIT At-Taqwa 2 Bangkingan Surabaya yang didukung oleh Yayasan At-Taqwa mengenai perekrutan, penempatan, dan pengembangan guru dan pendidik di SDIT At-Takwa 2. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis wawancara terhadap Submited: narasumber. Temuan penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa (1) Teknis Accepted: Rekrutmen Tenaga Pendidik di SDIT At-Taqwa 2 telah berjalan dengan baik. Proses penempatan pendidik dilakukan dengan memperhatikan kualifikasi calon pendidik. (2) Pertimbangan penempatan dan penugasan peserta didik berdasarkan hasil tes wawancara dan microteaching yang dilakukan pihak yayasan. (3) Pemantauan dan Evaluasi Kinerja Tenaga Guru dengan diadakannya seminar setiap semester dan juga rapat evaluasi mingguan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran dan profesionalisme tenaga guru dengan mencermati beberapa laporan yang berkaitan dengan pengelolaan kelas, laporan kondisi kelas dan juga manajemen siswa dalam proses pembelajaran mengajar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of principal leadership on the effectiveness of primary schools. This research used a quantitative method. The research targets teachers in Surabaya, utilizing a sample of 376 respondents selected through a systematic random cluster sampling technique. The research instrument Principal Leadership adapted "The Successful School Leadership Survey," comprising 22 items, and the school effectiveness instrument was adapted "PESOC," consisting of 17 items from previous studies. Data was collected using an online questionnaire administered through Google Forms. The analysis employed Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM PLS), encompassing both inner and outer model evaluations. The study's result was that principal leadership positively affected the effectiveness of schools. The research findings strongly supported the notion that the leadership exhibited by school principals was a critical factor in the establishment and maintenance of effective schools. The study emphasized the importance of leadership that specifically addresses the four dimensions outlined in the Successful School Leadership survey, highlighting their integral role in shaping and sustaining educational institutions that are deemed effective.

Abstract

Teacher career development is a strategic aspect in improving the quality of education, especially in today's dynamic digital era. However, career development for teachers faces various challenges, such as the need to adapt to technological advancements, changes in educational policies, and increasingly complex professional competency demands. This study aims to analyze the strategies and challenges of continuous professional development (CPD) for teachers in the digital age. The method used in this research is a literature review with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were obtained from various sources, including scientific journals, books, research reports, and academic publications. The literature was analyzed based on thematic relevance, research methodology, key findings, and provided recommendations. The results show that teacher career development through the CPD approach is crucial for enhancing teachers’ competencies in a sustainable manner. Supporting factors include training, motivation, education, digital technology, and regulatory support such as the Teacher and Lecturer Law. The challenges encountered include inefficiencies in the career development documentation system and the still low level of professionalism among some teachers. Nevertheless, the digital era also presents significant opportunities through online learning platforms, digital certification, and professional networking collaborations that can accelerate the teacher career development process.
