A total of 283 respondents have completed an online questionnaire and verified it to be processed into the analysis of variance (ANOVA) and LSD post hoc test for multiple comparison statistical analysis. The result of this study shows that although high-income and low-income consumers in Thailand tend to have the same perceived quality toward the premium coffee brand, in general, there is a significant difference in the mean of brand perceived quality, awareness, and association between various consumers income level in Thailand. Interestingly, this study found that there is no significant difference in the mean of premium coffee brand perceived quality, awareness, association, and loyalty within the group of income levels in Indonesia. Abstract

Digital-based education, including virtual learning environments, has gained traction within the community. However, it is essential to acknowledge that not all online learning experiences are without drawbacks; they come with advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, the primary objective of this study is to investigate the perspectives of student candidates aspiring to become elementary school teachers regarding their experiences with online learning via virtual environments. The research methodology employed here is descriptive and qualitative. The study encompasses a participant pool of 60 students in their fifth semester. The findings of this research reveal that, on the whole, students exhibit satisfaction and comfort in using virtual learning environments. The incorporation of virtual learning environments contributes to a resource-efficient learning approach. Additionally, implementing these virtual environments nurtures self-confidence and independence among learners. Notably, the most significant advantage of online learning via virtual platforms from home is the ability to store learning materials, enabling students to revisit them as needed. This condition is made feasible by downloading online learning materials, allowing children to save and access them conveniently. However, challenges persist, including weak internet signals, limitations in delivering all materials online, and the students' demand for practical material examples.

Abstract

The introduction of Indonesian culture is carried out through an understanding of ethnicity, art, language, and customs. This cultural sharing is considered effective as a means to promote the nation's culture and increase understanding between nations as a bridge to improve cross-cultural understanding and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. By introducing Indonesia's cultural diversity to the Thai people, it is hoped that it can increase understanding of the importance of culture as a form of national identity and maintain social harmony. By using the observation approach, sharing season, and presentation to identify the impact of the introduction of Indonesian culture on the perception of Thai society, with the main focus on cultural understanding, we can establish international cooperation. This study shows that this cultural introduction initiative can enrich Indonesia's cultural insights in the Thailand community, especially in Thai Global Business Administration Technological College (TGBC), as well as make them aware of the importance of culture as a national asset that must be preserved and appreciated. This can open up opportunities for cooperation in academic and non-academic fields, which will later create a closer and mutually beneficial relationship between the two countries.

Abstract

In contemporary secondary EFL (English as a Foreign Language) education, formative assessments play a critical role in enhancing students' language proficiency. This research explores the perceptions and experiences of EFL students in Sidoarjo regarding formative assessment practices. The central research question focuses on how students' perceptions and experiences with formative assessments influence their engagement and language development. Employing a phenomenological approach, qualitative data were collected through in-depth interviews and classroom observations with 25 secondary EFL students. Thematic analysis identified recurring patterns and themes, providing a comprehensive understanding of how these students perceive and experience formative assessment practices. Findings reveal that students perceive their experiences with interactive tools like Kahoot! and Quizizz as highly engaging and motivating, which they believe contributes to a more dynamic and participatory learning environment. Additionally, students' experiences with timely and constructive feedback were pivotal in helping them recognize and correct mistakes, thereby improving their language skills. Peer assessment and self-reflection were also seen as fostering a more student-centered learning environment, though some students encountered challenges in consistently understanding and applying these methods. These challenges underscore the need for better support and resources to ensure effective implementation. The research concludes that well-designed formative assessments, when aligned with students' perceptions and experiences, can substantially improve engagement and language proficiency. Recommendations include integrating interactive tools, emphasizing constructive feedback, and promoting peer assessment and self-reflection. Future research should explore the long-term impacts of formative assessments on EFL learning outcomes. This study underscores the transformative potential of formative assessments in EFL education and advocates for continuous support to enhance their effective implementation.
