Abstract

Gesture prompts are physical movements of another person that are expected to produce the correct response to the subject. A deaf child takes longer to understand the lesson because he has physical and cognitive limitations. Based on the observations of researchers, there are still many deaf students at the Junior High School level who have not maintained personal hygiene as seen from long and black nails and do not wash their hands before eating. The aim of the research: to determine the effectiveness of the Gesture Prompts method on personal hygiene knowledge in deaf students at SLB Pembina Medan in 2020. This study used a quasi-experimental design. This study used the Gesture Prompts technique to increase students' personal hygiene knowledge. The population of this study were all students with hearing impairment as many as 33 students and all of them were used as samples. Based on the results of the T-Test, it is known that in the pre-test, the mean value = 9.52, while in the post-test, the mean = 15.34 with Z = -4.493 and p = 0.001. The Gesture Prompts method is effective in increasing knowledge of personal hygiene in deaf students. It is hoped that the teaching staff will improve health education about personal hygiene with the Prompting Gesture method as a learning method for deaf children.Keywords: gesture prompts; personal hygiene; deaf

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis Articulate Storyline pada materi bilangan cacah sampai 10.000 yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, serta efektif sehingga siswa mampu menguasai materi bilangan cacah sampai 10.000 dengan mudah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pengembangan atau research and development (R&D). Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Tunjungharjo. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari angket validasi, angket respon siswa dan guru serta soal pre-test dan post-test. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan angket validasi dari ahli media memperoleh skor 75% dengan kategori valid dan ahli materi memperoleh skor 84% dengan kategori sangat valid. Angket kepraktisan secara keseluruhan memperoleh skor presentase 84,45% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Setelah penggunaan media interaktif Articulate Storyline hasil rata-rata nilai post-test siswa berpengaruh signifikan yakni 82,03 dan nilai pre-test siswa rata-rata 35,10. Hasil uji t untuk dua sampel dependen menunjukkan bahwa sig < 0,05 atau 0,000 yang menunjukkan bahwa adanya perbedaan antara hasil pre-test dan post-test yang diterapkan dalam mengukur keefektifan penggunaan media. Hasil penelitian dapat dinyatakan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis Articulate Storyline pada materi bilangan cacah sampai 10.000 memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif.

Abstract

The background of this study is the low level of read the beginning of class IIstudents. The type of research employed is the Research and Development (R&amp;D)method. The purpose of this study was to implement the developed Loose Partsmedia to enhance the read the beginning abilities of second grade students atPandean Lamper 02 elementary school in Semarang and Sidoharjo 01 elementaryschool in Tegal. The development process followed the ADDIE model and OneGroup Pre-test and Post-test Design. Data analysis techniques included normalitytesting, homogeneity testing, paired sample testing, and N-gain testing. A total of47 students participated in the study, receiving both pre-test and post-test toevaluate the effectiveness of the learning intervention. The result of the N-Gainanalysis is 0,587 classified in the medium category. This showed that the appliedinstructional had a significant impact on improvement the result of studentslearning. Therefore, the Loose Parts learning media is considered a feasiblealternative to support the development of ability to read the beginning.

Abstract

In raising the organization of girls in Nahdlatul Ulama Association, women can have a very important role and function in determining the activities and programs that suit the needs of women themselves, whether as a companion husband or role model for their sons and daughters as well as community service, especially in leadership in the family or in general in this beloved country, which is evidence that women play such an important role in building the nation. The girls' activity program of the Nahdelatul Ulama Association in Surabaya for the period 2015-2020 helped to enhance the role of women in the service of society in general. The programme of activities outlined in the outline of the Programme of Action has been realized in terms of real value in social life The women girls of the Nahdlatul Ulama Association in Surabaya City have great commitment and dedication to performing real service, so that they can participate in filling various areas of life with its various problems. Share this service in the meaning of the acculturation framework for religion, social, cultural, as well as economics. A good and correct understanding pattern in religion can generate and achieve good and sustainable benefit. The acceptance of the award as a companion in accelerating the trauma of the victims of the terrorist bombing in Surabaya, presented by the Mayor of Surabaya on November 10, 2019, is proof that the girls of the Association for the Renaissance of Scholars in the city of Surabaya have performed his services to the country

Abstract

One of the diseases with a fairly high number of sufferers today is Diabetes Mellitus. The increase in the number of people with diabetes is caused by delays in diagnosis and also difficulties in monitoring the blood sugar level. Therefore, a solution is needed to overcome this problem, namely a blood sugar level monitoring system to predict and detect. The blood sugar level monitoring system is an intelligent system that can monitor blood sugar levels in Diabetes Mellitus patients. This system aims to make it easier for patients to check blood sugar levels regularly, to minimize the occurrence of increased blood sugar levels that aggravate the disease. Moreover, machine learning algorithms are a viable method used in recent studies for analyzing, predicting, and classifying health data while improving the health conditions of telemonitoring and telediagnosis. The main purpose of this article is to employ machine learning algorithms for blood sugar level classification in real time. The results of this study indicate that the system can be used to monitor blood sugar levels. The results of the implementation of the system that can be used by users include monitoring the results of measuring blood sugar levels. Abstract

The purpose of service expected is based on the current explanation of the condition of the subject of service, among others, strengthening the SME financial structuring system that aims at efficiency and avoiding losses. All members have a good SME business concept and are in accordance with the scale of business based on SMEs becoming Benchmarks. The Indonesian Santri Entrepreneurs Association with the potential to export has increased in number. It has an effective marketing strategy concept so that products are known, favored and used by national and international parties. Expanding the HIPSI Silaturrahmi network by providing entrepreneurship education to students in general so that the pesantren involved are increasingly widespread throughout Indonesia. This service is carried out on the basis of a participatory model, in which the basic elements of the community empowerment / service process are: social participation and mobilization. The result of this dedication is a strategy undertaken to strengthen the economy of local communities by fostering SMEs in the Indonesian Santri Entrepreneurs Association, where the coaching includes managing the financial system, managing production time and efficiency in increasing productivity and increasing the profitability of SMEs, choosing profitable business concepts in determine supply chain members for start-up businesses, Seminar on small medium enterprized business practices according to Islamic sharia, build e-Commerce in SMEs using a variety of online-based media.

Abstract

In today's digital era, the process of facial recognition has a very big role. Face recognition has benefits for authentication and identification processes. The development of facial recognition research continues to be carried out with the aim of being able to get the right algorithm, more accurate, faster processing, to be able to recognize faces from various angles. In this study, a performance test was performed on the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm with the AlexNet architecture, which is one of the deep learning algorithm developments for facial recognition. AlexNet has 8 convolution layers so that it will not leave even the slightest feature of the object. The process of training and testing the system uses the MATLAB programming language. The number of datasets used is 400 image data which is divided into 360 training image data and 40 test image data. The 400 data come from 4 classes of facial images that have been labeled with names and each classes have 100 images. The training process produces an accuracy of 100% and the testing process produces an accuracy of 95%.

Abstract

This study discusses the role of school principals as managers in improving the quality of education, principals as leaders in improving the quality of education, supporting and inhibiting factors, as well as solutions to facing inhibiting factors in improving the quality of education. In this study the authors used a qualitative research method, namely a method based on the philosophy of postpositivism, used to examine natural object conditions, where the researcher was the key instrument, purposive sampling of data sources, collection techniques by triangulation (combined), analysis the data are inductive/qualitative in nature and the results of qualitative research emphasize meaning rather than generalization. This type of research is field research and library research. Using primary data and secondary data, qualitative research instruments with data collection techniques Primary data obtained from interviews with SMAS KARTIKA X_1 South Jakarta and filling out questionnaires with the relevant informants are collected and processed in advance to simplify the data. The results of this study are that the principal has a major role in improving the quality of SMA. With a clear vision, effective pedagogical leadership, good resource management, collaboration with stakeholders, coaching and staff development, as well as comprehensive monitoring and evaluation, school principals can bring about significant changes in improving the quality of education at SMA Kartika X-1 Jakarta South.

Abstract

Jalan adalah akses penting bagi warga untuk beraktifitas, tetapi jika jalan tidak dilengkapi dengan penerangan maka hal tersebut akan menjadi kendala, terutama pada malam hari. Lampu penerangan jalan adalah sesuatu hal yang sangat dibutuhkan oleh warga khususnya di daerah pedesaan. Penerangan jalan merupakan sarana yang sangat dibutuhkan pondok pesantren Daar El Haqq desa ciakar RT 02 RW 01 kecamatan panongan kabupaten tangerang. Oleh sebab itu, pesantren Daar el Haqq menginginkan pengadaan serta pemasangan penerangan lampu jalan segera dilaksanakan di sepanjang jalan yang termasuk pada wilayah Panongan, khususnya jalan yang digunakan oleh para santri Daar El Haqq . Demi melaksanakan Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi dimana Sekolah tinggi Penerbangan Indonesia Curug salah satu kewajiban dosen dalam melaksanakan pengabdian pada masyarakat dengan mengambil kasus.

Abstract

The road is an important access for residents to do activities, but the village road is still a dirt road, there is no pavement so this will be an obstacle, especially during the rainy season which will complicate community activities. Village roads are something that is really needed by residents, especially for mobility in daily life. The village road is a facility that is really needed by residents in Kp. Blok Benda RT.10 RW. 04 Desa Mekar Jaya Kec. Panongan Tangerang Banten Therefore, the people of Kp Blok Benda Mekar Jaya want the procurement and paving of roads to be carried out immediately along the roads belonging to the Panongan area, especially roads that are considered prone to accidents due to slippery village roads.
