Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of decentralization, competitive advantage on the level of regional independence in the Lhokseumawe City government, and measure the magnitude of the interaction between decentralization and competitive advantage on the level of regional independence in the Lhokseumawe City government. Decentralization has aspects of strong and quality resource mechanisms, to management strategies including being superior in competing. Local governments must have the right method to be able to compete, so as to fulfill aspects of healthy and sustainable competitive advantage. Referring to competitive advantage, local governments must determine the right strategy, appropriate and guarantee local governments to appear "different" from other regions. Through this, the government will be able to guarantee the sustainability and welfare of the community in the long term. This study uses Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with data processing using SEM-PLS. Determination of the sample using Purposive Sampling of all apparatuses in the Lhokseumawe City Regional Work Unit with the number of selected samples being 122 apparatuses. The results of the study found that decentralization and competitive advantage had a significant effect on the level of regional independence. While competitive advantage has succeeded in becoming a quasi-moderation function, which means that the better the decentralization supported by competitive advantage, the higher the level of regional independence. Thus, the value of Regional Original Income (PAD) will be higher as an indicator of the expected level of independence.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the principal's constant effort to improve the quality of Islamic religious education by observing the development of Islamic religious teachers in teaching, student morality, and achievement in Islamic religious education. The objectives of this study are: 1) To determine the quality of Islamic religious education at Elementary School 05 Pasaman, 2) To determine the principal's contribution to improving the quality of Islamic religious education at Elementary School 05 Pasaman. This study is a field research study. The key informants in this study were the Islamic religious education teacher and the principal, while the supporting informants were students. The data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that 1) The quality of Islamic religious education and learning at Elementary School 05 Pasaman has increased, this is indicated by the frequent students winning championships in various religious competitions, 2) The principal's contribution in improving the quality of Islamic religious education and learning at Elementary School 05 Pasaman includes: a) preparing activity plans, b) building a solid work team, c) improving teacher competence, d) building relationships with parents and the community, e) providing adequate facilities and infrastructure, f) adjusting teaching objectives to the curriculum, g) ensuring the content of special materials, h) using criteria and standardization.

Abstract

Introduction: Physical literacy is crucial for the mental health and quality of life of university sports students, yet a research gap exists in understanding how these constructs interact through a gender-sensitive lens, particularly within sports education programs where psychological distress is rising despite high physical competence. Objectives: This study aims to analyze the relationship between physical literacy, mental health, and quality of life among sports students, considering the role of gender as a covariate. The research design used is quantitative with a descriptive correlational approach. Method: The research sample consisted of 211 students from the Faculty of Sports and Health Education, Indonesia University of Education. The instruments used included the Perceived Physical Literacy Instrument (PPLI), Short Mental Health Scale (SKM-12), and WHOQOL-BREF. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, multiple regression, and ANCOVA. Result: The results show that the average scores for physical literacy, mental health, and quality of life are in the moderate to high range with a normal and homogeneous data distribution. Multiple regression analysis shows that mental health has a significant effect on quality of life (B = 1.217; p < 0.001), while physical literacy has no significant effect (B = 0.171; p = 0.072). Simultaneously, both variables were able to explain 52.6% of the variation in students' quality of life (R² = 0.526; p < 0.001). ANCOVA analysis confirmed that the effect of mental health remained significant after controlling for gender, while physical literacy and gender differences were not significant. Conclusion: These findings indicate that mental health is the primary predictor of student athletes' quality of life, while physical literacy plays a more supportive role. Intervention recommendations focus on strengthening mental health integrated with improving physical literacy to comprehensively support student athletes' well-being.

Abstract

The phenomenon of students' delays in completing their theses is a common issue in higher education, where most students need more time than the ideal study period to graduate. Difficulties in managing academic and psychological pressures during the thesis writing process demonstrate the importance of resilience as an individual's ability to rise above challenges. One factor believed to contribute to resilience is parental parenting patterns perceived by individuals from early development. This study aims to determine the relationship between perceptions of parental parenting patterns and resilience in final year students at Syiah Kuala University. The research method used was a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The instruments used in this study were the Perceived Parenting Style Scale by Divya and Manikandan (2013) for perceived parenting style and the Connor-Davidson resilience Scale by Connor and Davidson (2003) fo resilience. A total of 372 final year students participated as respondents through an accidental sampling technique. The instruments used were the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) and the Perceived Parenting Style Scale, which measure three dimensions of parenting patterns: authoritative, authoritarian, and permissive. The results of the analysis showed that authoritative parenting had a significant positive relationship with resilience (r = 0.846; p < 0.001; R² = 0.716), while authoritarian parenting (r = -0.796; p < 0.001; R² = 0.633) and permissive parenting (r = -0.827; p < 0.001; R² = 0.684) showed a significant negative relationship. These R² values indicate that perceptions of parenting styles explain between 63% to 71% of the variance in student resilience. This study revealed the importance of supportive parenting, especially authoritative parenting, in developing students' psychological resilience so they can complete their studies more effectively.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop and implement project-based teaching materials with a STEM-ESD approach. These materials use a water theme in Science courses to strengthen the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 4 by improving students' critical thinking skills and sustainability consciousness. This research uses a mixed-methods approach with an Embedded Experiment Model design. The research instrument was developed through a validation process by 10 experts and a trial on 62 science education students to ensure validity and reliability. Implementation was carried out on a sample of 28 students from one university in Indonesia. Data collection used expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, critical thinking tests, and sustainability consciousness scales. Analysis was carried out using Fuzzy Delphi Methods, the Rasch Model, N-Gain, and t-tests. Validation results showed that the teaching materials were very feasible to use (average validity of 89%). Empirical tests showed significant increases in critical thinking skills (N-gain = 0.39, medium effect size) and sustainability consciousness (N-gain = 0.30, low effect size). These findings confirm that implementing the PjBLSTEM-ESD model effectively contextualizes science concepts with sustainable development issues. It significantly supports the achievement of SDG 4 through meaningful and transformative education.

Abstract

This study discusses the reception of lecturers regarding the latest policy news from the President of the United States (US) Donald Trump which was published in the national media in April 2025. Trump issued a policy of increasing import tax rates for foreign countries importing goods into the US. Even though the global situation is not conducive with a series of conflicts between countries, Trump insisted on raising it. The problem is how lecturers accept Trump's  policy of increasing import tax rates. This research aims to explain their reception of Trump’s new trade tax policy. This research uses a qualitative-descriptive method through an analytical study of Stuart Hall's reception with three elements; domination, negotiation, and opposition. As the subject of the study, interviews were conducted with informants consisting of lecturers in Jakarta. The results of this study show that most private lecturers in Jakarta are in opposition to Trump's economic policies rather than negotiation and domination. The significance of this research is that there is a spirit of nationalism for every citizen.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis harga sebagai determinan utama dalam meningkatkan kepuasan konsumen pada Rumah Makan Brunai di Kelurahan Serasan Jaya, Kecamatan Sekayu. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 96 responden sebagai sampel. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh melalui studi pustaka. Instrumen penelitian diuji menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan regresi linier sederhana melalui SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh item pernyataan dinyatakan valid dan reliabel. Analisis regresi membuktikan bahwa harga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen, dengan nilai koefisien regresi 0,873 dan signifikansi 0,000. Koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,841 mengindikasikan hubungan yang sangat kuat, sementara nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,707 menunjukkan bahwa harga menjelaskan 70,7% variasi kepuasan konsumen, sehingga menegaskan bahwa harga merupakan determinan utama dalam meningkatkan kepuasan. Kesimpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa kesesuaian harga dengan kualitas makanan dan pelayanan menjadi faktor kunci dalam membentuk kepuasan konsumen. Dalam perspektif ekonomi Islam, penetapan harga yang adil dan proporsional turut memperkuat kepercayaan serta hubungan harmonis antara penjual dan pembeli.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adanya kegiatan proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMK Negeri 1 Gunung Tuleh dengan metode pengelompokan siswa kedalam beberapa kelompok dan menggunakan pedoman atau disebut dengan metode cooperative script. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini ialah observasi, wawancara dari berbagai pihak yang peneliti rasa dapat memberikan data-data konkrit, dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik keabasahan data dalam penelitian ini adalah uji kredibilitas data dengan menggunakan bahan referensi dan uji kredibilitas dengan Member Check. Hasil penelitian menentukan bahwa penerapan metode cooperative script pada mata pelajaran PAI di SMKN 1 Gunung Tuleh, Siswa dibagi menjadi enam kelompok dengan jumlah anggota kelompok dua siswa, pembentukan kelompok berdasarkan kemampuan akademik dan karakter pribadi siswa, menentukan peran anggota kelompok, pada langkah ini setiap anggota kelompok diberi peran sebagai siswa pembicara maupun pendengar secara bergantian, mengoordinasikan wacana/materi pelajaran. Pada kegiatan ini guru memberikan teks pelajaran sebagai bahan siswa untuk membuat ringkasan, guru juga menganjurkan siswa untuk membawa sumber referensi yang lain berupa RPUL maupun sumber yang lain, danmembuat ikhtisar dari wacana/materi pelajaran, pada tahap ini siswa pembicara membuat ikhtisar atau ringkasan dari teks pelajaran maupun sumber belajar yang lain, sedangkan siswa pendengar mencari informasi sebagai masukan dari hasil pembuatan ikhtisar tersebut.

Abstract

Dengan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : Penanaman nilai toleransi beragama siswa melalui budaya sekolah di SD S Anwar Karim III PT Agrowiratama melalui 3 tahap, yaitu: Tahap Transfer nilai, pada tahap ini SD S Anwar Karim III PT Agrowiratama mengintegrasikan pada kebijakan sekolah yaitu termuat dalam misi sekolah, peraturan sekolah yang termuat dalam tata tertib kelas, dan slogan, Tahap transaksi nilai, pada tahap ini SD S Anwar Karim III PT Agrowiratama mengitegrasikan melalui kegiatan keteladanan, Tahap transinternalisasi nilai, pada tahap ini terlihat saat siswa SD S Anwar Karim III PT Agrowiratama terlibat dalam kegiatan hari besar keagamaan serta hubungan antar teman. Kendala yang dialami oleh guru dalam menanamkan nilai toleransi beragama siswa melalui budaya sekolah ialah masih adanya siswa yang bersikap terlalu fanatik terhadap agama. Solusi untuk kendala tersebut adalah guru dan orang tua harus ekstra dalam mendidik dan memahamkan siswa/anak bahwa nilai toleransi beragama itu sangat penting. Faktor Pendorong Penanaman Nilai-Nilai Toleransi Antar Umat Beragama di SD S Anwar Karim III PT Agrowiratama. Faktor pendorong terjadinya penanaman nilai nilai toleransi atar umat beragama karena siswa di SD S Anwar Karim III PT Agrowiratama terdiri dari berbagai agama, jadi perlu rasanya untuk menanamkan sikap toleransi agar terciptanya kerukunan dan kedamaian.

Abstract

Perilaku belajar adalah suatu sikap yang muncul dari diri siswa dalam menanggapi dan meresponi setiap kegiatan belajar mengajar yang terjadi, menunjukkan sikapnya apakah antusias dan bertanggung jawab atas kesempatan belajar yang diberikan kepadanya. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal pada SDN 13 Pasaman, ditemukan masih banyak perilaku siswa khususnya dalam proses pembelajaran masih rendah seperti masih kurangnya kesadaran mereka di dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran, kurang mengulangi pelajaran dirumah, dan kurang di dalam membaca buku. Selain observasi awal penulis juga melakukan wawancara dengan salah seorang guru pendidikan agama Islam yaitu Ibuk NoviaHenni yang menyatakan bahwa: selama ini saya memang melihat banyak dari siswa atau anak-anak yang perilaku atau sikapnya dalam menerima pembelajaran masih kurangnya kesadaran mereka di dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran, kurang mengulangi pelajaran dirumah, dan kurang di dalam membaca buku. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perilaku belajar siswa di dalam kelas, perilaku belajar siswa di luar kelas serta perilaku belajar siswa di lingkungan keluarga di SDN 13 Pasaman Kecamatan Pasaman Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yaitu menggambarkan suatu gejala, peristiwa, kejadian yang terjadi dengan menggunakan data kualitatif sebagaimana adanya.Sumber datanya peneliti peroleh dari kepala sekolah, guru, siswa dan orang tua siswa dengan demikian peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasanya perilaku belajar siswa di kelas sudah mulai baik hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan siswa sudah mulai disiplin di dalam proses pembelajaran salah satu indicator siswa disiplin di dalam kelas adalah pada saat masuk kelas dan kehadiran siswa tersebut di dalam proses pembelajaran, Setelah proses pembelajaran selesai dan siswa keluar kelas materi yang disampaikan guru di sekolah harus di aplikasikan di rumah dan adapun implikasinya terhadap sikap perilaku belajar siswa adalah sikap siswa yang sudah mulai berubah ke arah yang lebih baik hal ini dapat dilihat ketika suara azan dikumandan siswa tersebut tanpa disuruh mereka mengambil wudu dan melaksanakan shalat, Setelah proses pembelajaran selesai dan siswa pulang ke rumah materi yang disampaikan guru di sekolah harus di aplikasikan di rumah dan adapun implikasinya terhadap sikap perilaku belajar siswa adalah sikap siswa yang sudah mulai berubah ke arah yang lebih baik hal ini dapat dilihat ketika suara azan dikumandan siswa tersebut tanpa disuruh mereka mengambil wudu dan melaksanakan shalat.
