Abstract

Technology plays an important role in education development to prepare students to answer global challenges. Programming is one of the skills students need to have to adapt to advanced technology. Before preparing students for that skill, teachers need to be experts in programming into the subject they teach. Polynomial is a compulsory course for a master’s degree in teaching mathematics. It prepares the master’s student about the concept of an irreducible over any field. Each polynomial in the field C with degree one is an irreducible polynomial, while an irreducible polynomial in R[x] is of degrees one and two. However, for every polynomial in the field Q of degree n in Z, there is any irreducible polynomial, so it is hard to decide whether the polynomial with any degree is irreducible or not. This paper aims to develop the project application in teaching and learning Polynomial using MATLAB GUI will be presented to check the irreducibility of a polynomial over Q[x] by using theorem on the Generalization of the Eisenstein Criterion. This project application can be used by lecturers and students of universities, moreover, the algorithm and steps of making an application can be adjusted to make the other application in mathematics.

Abstract

This research aimed at analyzing the strategies implemented by the head of school administration staff in student administration management at Islamic Senior High School of Khairul Ummah Air Molek. Student administration is one of the important aspects in supporting the success of education, especially in managing student data, archiving documents, and servicing administration effectively. The head of administration staff had a strategic role in ensuring the continuity of the orderly, efficient, and educational standard-compliant administration process. Qualitative approach was used in this research with descriptive method. Interview, observation, and documentation were the techniques of collecting data. The research findings showed that the head of administration staff at Islamic Senior High School of Khairul Ummah implemented various strategies, such as using of information technology for student data management, improving administration. services, and improving internal communication systems. However, there were several challenges faced, including the distance of students homes from schools, the lack of staff skills in digital data management, and ineffective communication between the administration staff and students. Improvement efforts were made by integrating digital technology into the school administration system and improving coordination between related parties.

Abstract

The number of female HIV/AIDS sufferers is increasing along with the increase in transmission of unsafe sexual behavior in men who then transmit HIV to their sexual partners. In addition, HIV transmission from HIV-infected mothers to their babies tends to increase along with the increase in the number of HIV-infected women, which is why HIV/AIDS requires serious attention from parties involved in front-line health services. This community service is to increase pregnant women's knowledge about HIV/AIDS. This activity was carried out by providing counseling with leaflets to pregnant women about HIV/AIDS by giving a pre-test before counseling and a post-test after counseling. The technique is accidental sampling. The results of the counseling were obtained before the counseling was given as many as 2 participants (25%) with sufficient knowledge and after the activity there was an increase to 6 participants (75%) with Good knowledge.It is hoped that further education will focus on preventing HIV/AIDS in pregnant women.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menegetahui pengaruh perputaran modal kerja dan perputaran persediaan terhadap profitabilitas pada perusahaan manufaktur subsektor makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2018-2022. Sehingga variabel penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 (dua) variabel independen yaitu perputaran modal kerja dan perputaran persediaan serta variabel dependennya yaitu profitabilitas. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur subsektor makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2018-2022. Penelitian ini di uji dengan analisis regresi linier berganda, uji t, uji F dan uji koefisien determinasi. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 10 perusahaan dengan 5 periode sehingga total sampel yang digunakan adalah 50 sampel yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik purposiv sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan SPSS 23. Hasil penelitian dengan dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa perputaran modal kerja berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap profitabilitas, perputaran persediaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap profitabilitas, dan perputaran modal kerja dan perputaran persediaan secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia.

Abstract

Hypercholesterolemia be a risk factor for coronary heart disease and the number one cause of death. Controlling cholesterol is done by involving the family in carrying out the functions of family health care. The purpose of this study was to determine the most significant variables. This type of research is a descriptive analytic with cross sectional design. The research sites in the Work Area Health Center Andalas Padang with respondents 60 people. Bivariate analysis with the chi square test and multivariate analysis with regression logistic. The results showed a significant relationship between the functions of family health care practices in the implementation of diet p=0,004(p<0,05), physical activity and recreation p=0,002(p<0.05) with cholesterolemia levels, the the implementation of practice-based preventive treatment p=0,925(p>0.05). The most significant variables is function of family health care practices in the implementation of the diet p=0,007, OR=4,896 (95%CI=1,548-15,486). Suggested to the clinic in order to increase the frequency of home visits and advised the family to more active in implementing the functions of family health care.

Abstract

Patient safety is one of the key indicators of healthcare service quality. This study evaluates strategies for developing a safety culture in hospitals, focusing on shifting from a blame culture to a learning culture. The research employs Systematic Literature Review techniques. The findings indicate that management commitment, psychological safety, and staff engagement are critical components in fostering an effective safety culture. The study suggests the importance of continuous training and supportive reporting systems as strategies to enhance patient safety. This research contributes to a better understanding of how safety culture can be strengthened in hospital environments.

Abstract

KKN merupakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di daerah tertentu atau yang dilaksanakan secara kelompok dan terintegrasi antar jurusan di tingkat universitas. Kegiatan KKN bertujuan untuk memberikan pengalaman kerja nyata lapangan dalam membentuk sikap mandiri kepada mahasiswa. Pelaksanaan KKN dimulai pada 08 Agustus 2023 sampai dengan 08 September 2023 bertempat di RW 002 Desa Banyusari Kecamatan Katapang, salah satu program kerjanya adaalah smart farming Ecoenzyme pada masyarakat di RW 002 Desa Banyusari dengan kegiatan sosialisasi dan demonstrasi. Ecoenzyme yang didapatkan dapat dimanfaatkan langsung oleh warga dan para petani untuk mengurangi masalah para petani mengenai kelangkaan pupuk dan masalah sampah organik rumah tangga dengan program Ecoenzyme.

Abstract

Abstract This article aims to identify the steps for implementing the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) in higher education to improve education quality, to understand the causes of disparities in the implementation of SPMI in higher education, and to explore strategic steps that can be taken to optimize SPMI implementation in universities. The method used in writing this article is a literature study. Data were obtained from secondary sources, consisting of journal articles. The data analysis technique employed in this article is documentation, where journal articles related to the topic were collected using tools such as Google Scholar, DOAJ, and Publish or Perish. The results of the study show that the implementation of SPMI in Indonesian higher education institutions still faces significant challenges. Issues such as limited resources, low commitment to quality, lack of technological support, and uneven policy distribution have created disparities in SPMI implementation. These disparities impact graduate quality, accreditation achievements, and the ability of institutions to compete globally. Strategic measures are proposed to address these challenges, including strengthening institutional resources, integrating information technology, fostering a quality culture, enhancing policy support, and adopting holistic approaches such as the Balanced Scorecard. With these strategies, higher education institutions are expected to optimize SPMI implementation, reduce quality disparities, and establish an equitable, sustainable, and globally competitive higher education system. Abstrak Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui langkah-langkah implementasi SPMI di perguruan tinggi dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan, untuk mengetahui penyebab terjadinya disparitas dalam pelaksanaan Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Internal (SPMI) di perguruan tinggi, untuk mengetahui langkah-langkah strategis yang dapat diambil untuk mengoptimalkan penerapan SPMI di perguruan tinggi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ini adalah studi literatur. Data diperoleh melalui data sekunder, data sekunder yang dipakai berupa artikel-artikel jurnal. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ini adalah teknik dokumentasi, pengumpulan artikel-artikel jurnal yang terkait dengan judul dilakukan dengan bantuan Google Scholar, DOAJ dan Publish or Perish. Hasil penulisan menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Internal (SPMI) di perguruan tinggi Indonesia masih menghadapi berbagai kendala signifikan. Permasalahan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya, rendahnya komitmen terhadap mutu, kurangnya dukungan teknologi, dan tidak meratanya kebijakan menciptakan disparitas dalam pelaksanaan SPMI. Disparitas ini berdampak pada kualitas lulusan, capaian akreditasi, serta kemampuan institusi untuk bersaing di tingkat global. Langkah-langkah strategis diusulkan untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut, termasuk penguatan sumber daya institusi, integrasi teknologi informasi, pengembangan budaya mutu, peningkatan dukungan kebijakan, serta penerapan pendekatan holistik seperti Balanced Scorecard. Dengan strategi ini, diharapkan perguruan tinggi dapat mengoptimalkan penerapan SPMI, mengurangi kesenjangan mutu, dan mewujudkan sistem pendidikan tinggi yang merata, berkelanjutan, dan kompetitif secara global. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh deskripsi mengenai penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 5 Palu pada materi fungsi komposisi. Jenis penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Desain penelitian mengacu pada model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Penelitian ini berlokasi di SMA Negeri 5 Palu. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIPA 3 yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, dengan tahapannya yaitu: 1) konsep dasar; 2) pendefinisian masalah; 3) belajar mandiri; 4) belajar kelompok; dan 5) penilaian; Hasil Peningkatan hasil belajar maatematika siswa dari hasil tes akhir tidakan siklus I sebesar 73,33% Pada siklus II sebesar 83,33%. Hasil observasi aktivitas guru dan siklus pada siklus I berada pada kategori cukup. Pada siklus II skor total hasil observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa siklus II berada pada kategori baik. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi fungsi kompossisi di kelas X MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 5 Palu. Abstract: This research aims to obtain a description of the implementation of problem based learning model to improve student learning outcomes in grade X MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 5 Palu on composition of function. This type of research was Classroom Action Research. The research design refers to the model of Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. This research was located at SMA Negeri 5 Palu. The subjects of this study were 30 students of grade X MIPA 3. The results of the research show that the implementation of problem-based learning modelcan improve student learning outcomes, with the following stages: 1) basic concepts;. 2) defining the problem; 3) self-study; 4) study groups; 5) assessment; The increase of students learning outcomes based on the results final test: Action in cycle I is 73.33% and cycle II is 83.33%. The result of observation of teacher activity in cycle I is in the category of sufficient. In cycle II, the total score on the result of the observation of teacher and student activity in cycle II is in good category. The resultindicates that the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve students learning outcomes on composition of function in grade X of MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 5 Palu. Abstract

The degradation of marine ecosystems and the underutilization of coastal resources have become major challenges in achieving sustainable economic growth in many coastal regions of Indonesia. Labuang Village in Majene Regency, which possesses abundant marine and coastal resources, faces similar issues related to limited resource optimization and weak institutional support. This research seeks to evaluate the Blue Economy potential of Labuang Village within the context of Embedded Sustainability, and the Sustainable Development Goals. This qualitative research was conducted employing a case study approach with five purposive participants to represent the primary stakeholders: fishermen, seaweed ranchers, village administration, and community leaders. Data were inquired through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document reviews, and were subsequently analyzed using NVivo to code by thematic analysis. The results of the research indicate that Labuang Village has significant potential in capture fishery, seaweed farming, and marine tourism, which impacts the attainment of SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 14 (Life Under Water). However, the potential remains dormant, as there is a glaring absence of infrastructure, funding, and technology. A triadic alliance of the state, community, and business actors is thus mandated to fully harness the potential of the region's Blue Economy.
