Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between attitudes towards implementing occupational safety and health programs and employee work discipline. This research used as subjects 57 employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Pekanbaru branch, research data was collected using two scales, namely the attitude scale for implementing occupational safety and health programs compiled by the researcher himself with a total of 30 items and the employee work discipline scale used was compiled by the researcher himself based on disciplinary theory with a total of 28 items. Sampling in this research used the summated ratings method, data analysis using product moment analysis, with the help of the SPSS 24.0 for Windows computer program. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that there was a positive relationship between the attitude towards implementing occupational safety and health programs and employee work discipline, the correlation coefficient was 0.738 with p = 0.000, so the hypothesis was accepted, meaning that the higher the attitude towards implementing occupational safety and health programs, the greater the contribution to improve employee work discipline

Abstract

This study endeavors to explore the intricate connection between Human Resource Management (HRM) practices and Organizational Resilience, with a specific emphasis on dimensions such as leadership, innovation, employee performance, and system satisfaction. Employing a literature review methodology, a comprehensive understanding framework was constructed by examining insights from various prominent studies available in Scopus, ScienceDirect, and ResearchGate journals. The outcomes underscore the pivotal role of HRM in confronting unparalleled challenges, especially during crises like the COVID-19 pandemic. Notably, it was discovered that the quality of systems, information, and services significantly influences user satisfaction within e-learning systems. Furthermore, the characteristics of boards, including board size, the proportion of independent commissioners, and board meeting frequency, exhibit an impact on CSR disclosure in the mining industry. The findings also illuminate the intricate nature of digital HRM transformation, emphasizing the necessity for a holistic approach that encompasses process reengineering, competency development, and organizational culture change. Practical implications emanating from the research involve refining marketing and service strategies based on factors that influence customer satisfaction. In the context of bolstering global competitiveness, the study highlights the pivotal role of knowledge management, emphasizing the imperative to concentrate on knowledge management strategies amidst intensifying global competition. Consequently, this research contributes profound insights, theoretical advancements, and invaluable practical recommendations for prospective research endeavors and HRM practitioners.

This study aims to determine the strategies implemented by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in an effort to improve students' spiritual intelligence at SMK Negeri 1 Kaligondang. In facing moral challenges and character crises in the modern era, spiritual intelligence is an important aspect that must be instilled early on through an educational approach. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses qualitative data analysis interactive models from Miles and Huberman which include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. In addition, to test the validity of the data, triangulation techniques were used. The results of the study showed that PAI teachers implemented various strategies, including the habituation of daily religious activities such as congregational dhuha and dzuhur prayers, memorizing short letters, as well as using Islamic storytelling methods, exemplary methods and talaqqi methods in the learning process. These strategies have proven to be able to encourage students to better understand and practice religious values in their daily lives. In addition, teacher role models and school environmental support are important factors in the process of improving students' spiritual intelligence.

Abstract

This study used a composite of activated charcoal and iron sand extract to reduce the concentrations of heavy metals (Cu, Ni, Zn, Pb, and Cd) in polluted seawater. The grain size of the composite was varied to 60 mesh, 100 mesh, and 200 mesh, with a ratio of activated charcoal to iron sand of 2:3 to optimize absorption. The composite was then compacted into pellets with compaction pressures of 42.2 Pa, 84.8 Pa, and 141.5 Pa, respectively, to achieve optimum compressive strength. The concentrations of heavy metals were measured using an Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS). The optimal compaction pressure for the composite was found to be 141.5 Pa, with absorption efficiencies of 61% for Zn, 96% for Pb, 48% for Cd, 90% for Cu, and 94% for Ni. According to the research results, the highest absorption was obtained in composites with a grain size of 200 mesh, with absorption efficiencies of 62.21% for Zn, 96.87% for Pb, 48.14% for Cd, 90.98% for Cu, and 94.15% for Ni. The greater the compaction pressure exerted on the composite, the higher the absorption percentage of the composite pellets. Conversely, a finer grain size also contributes to higher absorption.

Abstract

Mass communication through social media can be used as a link between political communicators and the public. As a political communication channel, social media can influence and determine political behavior because social media can influence public opinion. Good control of public opinion plays a role in winning the battle for societal influence. For political forces participating in parliamentary elections (such as presidential elections, regional head elections and members of parliament), it is important to use social media effectively to convey political messages. Through social media, the public absorbs the content of political messages more quickly and easily, because every public has access to information without barriers and geographical boundaries. Social media is also a very effective means of communication, especially when conveying information and receiving public feedback. Public feedback can bring closer relations between the political media and the public. In addition, the use of social media is increasingly popular and growing among people today, reaching even remote rural areas. With good information packaging, the public can easily understand the political messages conveyed by the political media. By conveying political messages that are appropriate and carried out effectively, in the end it can arouse public sympathy so that they accept the intentions desired by political communicators.

Abstract

Perception is a view or assumption that arises from the information received. Perception plays an important role in understanding information or knowledge that affects a person's interest. Different perceptions in understanding the information or knowledge received can cause variations in interest. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how much perceptions based on knowledge and information affect students' desire in doing business with Islamic banks. Survey techniques used in this study, which is descriptive quantitative in nature, include questionnaires and interviews. One hundred students from Universitas Muhammadiyah Bandung made up the research sample. A questionnaire created utilizing a likert scale was used to collect data. Validity and reliability tests were performed on the instrument, and statistical tests, basic linear regression analysis, and traditional assumption tests were used to analyze the results. To facilitate calculations, Software for this investigation was SPSS version 25. The study's data analysis results indicate that, in the T test, perception (X) significantly influences interest in transacting with Islamic banks (Y), with a t count value more than the t table (11.048 > 1.660551), and 0.000 <0.10 is the significance value. The corrected R square, or coefficient of determination, is 0.555, or 55.5%, with other factors beyond the scope of the study influencing the remaining 44.5%..

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools face major challenges in shaping a strong institutional image amid competition and technological advancement. This study aims to examine the synergy between public relations and strategic management in strengthening the positive image of Al-Faruqi Islamic Boarding School. Employing a qualitative approach through interviews, observation, and documentation, the findings reveal that public relations strategies are applied internally (communication with teachers, students, and staff) and externally (engaging the community, social media, and direct promotions such as roadshows and brochures). The use of platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook reflects a digital transformation, although management remains suboptimal. Moreover, the involvement of school leaders in public sermons serves as an effective communication tool. Regular evaluations are conducted to improve strategy implementation. The study concludes that a strategic integration between PR and management significantly enhances institutional image, community trust, and school competitiveness. Practically, the pesantren needs to improve digital media management and internal coordination to sustain its public reputation.
