Abstract

This study aims to employment absorption of vocational high school graduates in shipbuilding expertise programs in the oil, gas and shipyards industries. A quantitative descriptive research method was employed. The study was conducted within the shipbuilding expertise program at SMKN 5 Batam and SMKS Teladan Batam. The data sources included graduates of the shipbuilding expertise program from 2020 to 2024, the Career Development Center (CDC) at SMKN 5 Batam, and the public relations office of SMKS Teladan Batam. Data collection techniques involved distributing questionnaires, conducting interviews, and reviewing documentation. Quantitative data analysis was performed using descriptive statistical methods. The research findings indicate that the employment absorption rate of SMK graduates in the shipbuilding expertise program into the oil and gas and shipyard industries in Batam City over the past five years was 6% for the 2020 graduates, 9% for 2021, 16% for 2022, 25% for 2023, and 45% for 2024. Among the various specializations, ship welding was the most highly absorbed into the industries. Most graduates secured employment in the oil and gas and shipyard industries within six months of completing their education. Key sources of job information included the school's CDC, social media, family/relatives, teachers, and acquaintances. Internal factors influencing employment absorption included work experience, soft skills, graduate competencies, and motivation to work in alignment with their expertise. External factors included social networks, the quality of the vocational schools, and the demand for specific job vacancies in the industries. The competencies taught in schools were found to be sufficiently relevant to the current occupations of the graduates.

Abstract

Tomato productivity is often disrupted by diseases affecting tomato plants, such as early blight and late blight, which can significantly reduce crop yields. Early detection of these diseases is crucial to prevent greater losses. This study compares two machine learning-based classification methods, namely Random Forest and Naïve Bayes, in identifying diseases on tomato leaves. The dataset used consists of 1,255 images obtained from Kaggle, with the data divided into two classes: early blight with 627 images and late blight with 628 images, which then underwent preprocessing and data splitting with three ratio scenarios (70:30, 80:20, and 90:10) for training and testing. This study shows that it only achieved an accuracy of 76.98%, while the Random Forest method had the highest accuracy of 92.86% in the 90:10 data ratio scenario. Thus, the Random Forest method proves to be more effective in classifying tomato leaf diseases compared to Naïve Bayes. The implementation of this model can help farmers detect diseases more quickly and accurately, thereby increasing agricultural productivity.

Abstract

Dalam hubungan sosial, perbedaan kepentingan sering kali dapat menyebabkan konflik antar manusia karena masing-masing pihak cenderung mengutamakan kebutuhan dan kepentingannya sendiri tanpa ingin mengalah. Oleh karena itu, lingkungan sosial yang positif akan berdampak positif pada perkembangan pribadi dan perilaku individu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menerapkan sikap saling memaafkan yang dapat menimbulkan energi positif terhadap lingkungan sosial yang di landasi dengan sebuah hadis nabi muhammad saw. Penelitian ini Penelitian ini merupakan tinjauan pustaka (library research). Sumber data yang dimanfaatkan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder. Materi yang digunakan terdiri dari buku, jurnal penelitian, artikel ilmiah, dan situs web resmi yang mengandung informasi yang relevan dengan fokus penelitian, yaitu dampak positif sikap saling memaafkan terhadap lingkungan sosial dalam perspektif hadis. Metode analisis yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deduktif, di mana data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara umum untuk kemudian diambil kesimpulan khusus. Hasil penelititan ini adalah sikap saling memaafkan dapat menimbulkan energi positif terhadap lingkungan sosial diantaranya hidup menjadi lebih tenang dan bahagia, tidak ada musuh, self healing atau belajar menyembuhkan diri sendiri dari kesalahan orang lain, menjadi orang yang lebih bijaksana, hubungan yang baik dalam berinteraksi sosial dan yang teakhir sikap saling memaafkan baik dalam kesehatan mental.

Abstract

This article examines the Lord's Supper as a means of grace and church identity in the era of globalization. The Lord's Supper is not merely understood as a symbolic liturgical rite, but as a medium through which Christ presents the gift of salvation to the congregation. In the church's theological tradition, this sacrament serves as a means of renewing faith, strengthening the unity of the body of Christ, and affirming ecclesial identity. Amidst globalization marked by cultural pluralism, digital mobility, and the tide of relativism, the Lord's Supper serves as a reminder of the church's call to remain faithful to the Gospel while remaining open to the world. This article highlights four key dimensions: first, the Lord's Supper as a means of grace within the church's tradition; second, as an ecclesial identity that distinguishes the church from other social communities; third, as a means of psychological and social formation that strengthens congregational solidarity; and fourth, the adaptation of this sacrament to the digital age and the COVID-19 pandemic. Through qualitative analysis based on literature, this article confirms that the Lord's Supper has profound relevance for forming a faithful community, rooted in tradition, while also capable of facing global challenges with a clear identity and solid spirituality.

Abstract

Reformasi Birokrasi pertama kali diatur dalam Peraturan Presiden Nomor 81 Tahun 2010 tentang Grand Design Reformasi Birokrasi Tahun 2010-2025. Secara bertahap membuat, lembaga pemerintah mulai menerapkan aturan tersebut dan telah banyak berkembang. Hal ini tidak hanya terlihat pada perkembangan unit kelembagaan tetapi juga pada jumlah kajian. Penelitian tentang Reformasi Birokrasi masih rendah. Bibliometrics digunakan untuk menghubungkan perkembangan dengan kepentingan penelitian selanjutnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan perkembangan penelitian Reformasi Birokrasi mulai tahun 2017-2022. Rangkuman ini akan menjadi acuan untuk kajian-kajian selanjutnya tentang Reformasi Birokrasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan analisis bibliometrik. Data berupa artikel terakumulasi dari metadata Crossref tahun 2017-2022. Artikel dipilih dengan menggunakan kata kunci “reformasi birokrasi” dan “reformasi birokrasi”; jurnal harus dimasukkan dalam bagian SINTA atau SCOPUS. Studi ini menemukan bahwa dari 82 artikel, hanya delapan yang masuk dalam jurnal SINTA, dan empat masuk dalam jurnal SCOPUS. Potensi penelitian selanjutnya adalah tentang implementasi Reformasi Birokrasi

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between attitudes towards implementing occupational safety and health programs and employee work discipline. This research used as subjects 57 employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Pekanbaru branch, research data was collected using two scales, namely the attitude scale for implementing occupational safety and health programs compiled by the researcher himself with a total of 30 items and the employee work discipline scale used was compiled by the researcher himself based on disciplinary theory with a total of 28 items. Sampling in this research used the summated ratings method, data analysis using product moment analysis, with the help of the SPSS 24.0 for Windows computer program. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that there was a positive relationship between the attitude towards implementing occupational safety and health programs and employee work discipline, the correlation coefficient was 0.738 with p = 0.000, so the hypothesis was accepted, meaning that the higher the attitude towards implementing occupational safety and health programs, the greater the contribution to improve employee work discipline

Abstract

This study endeavors to explore the intricate connection between Human Resource Management (HRM) practices and Organizational Resilience, with a specific emphasis on dimensions such as leadership, innovation, employee performance, and system satisfaction. Employing a literature review methodology, a comprehensive understanding framework was constructed by examining insights from various prominent studies available in Scopus, ScienceDirect, and ResearchGate journals. The outcomes underscore the pivotal role of HRM in confronting unparalleled challenges, especially during crises like the COVID-19 pandemic. Notably, it was discovered that the quality of systems, information, and services significantly influences user satisfaction within e-learning systems. Furthermore, the characteristics of boards, including board size, the proportion of independent commissioners, and board meeting frequency, exhibit an impact on CSR disclosure in the mining industry. The findings also illuminate the intricate nature of digital HRM transformation, emphasizing the necessity for a holistic approach that encompasses process reengineering, competency development, and organizational culture change. Practical implications emanating from the research involve refining marketing and service strategies based on factors that influence customer satisfaction. In the context of bolstering global competitiveness, the study highlights the pivotal role of knowledge management, emphasizing the imperative to concentrate on knowledge management strategies amidst intensifying global competition. Consequently, this research contributes profound insights, theoretical advancements, and invaluable practical recommendations for prospective research endeavors and HRM practitioners.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the economic thoughts of Abu Ubaid and Abu Yusuf. This research uses a literature study method with a focus on the Islamic economic thought of Abu Ubaid and Abu Yusuf and its relevance to the economy in Indonesia. The results of this research show that Muslim intellectual figures have contributed significantly to the development of Islamic economics, especially in the fields of taxation, public finance and business ethics. Their works are still relevant and serve as a reference in discussions about Islamic economics. One of the works of Abu Ubaid and Abu Yusuf is kita al-Amwal and kitab al-Kharaj. The book al-Amwal discusses the principles of Islamic economics, including the concepts of zakat, infaq and alms. Kirab al-Kharaj discusses the principles of taxation in Islam, including the concepts of kharaj, jizyah, and zakat.

Abstract

Diet rendah garam merupakan salah satu cara untuk mengatasi kekambuhan hipertensi tanpa efek samping yang serius karena metode pengendaliannya lebih alami yang bertujuan untuk membantu menurunkan tekanan darah tinggi menuju tekanan darah normal. Dukungan keluarga merupakan salah satu faktor yang menentukan tingkat kepatuhan pasien dalam menjalankan proses perawatan. Literatur perawatan-kesehatan mengemukakan bahwa kepatuhan berbanding lurus dengan tujuan yang dicapai pada program pengobatan yang telah ditentukan Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan kepatuhan diet rendag garam pada penderita hipertensi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey analitic dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara purvosive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 anak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik Kendall Tau dengan α=0,05. Hasil: ada hubungan ( p value = 0,000) antara dukungan keluarga terhadap diet rendah garam pada penderita hipertensi

Abstract

Status gizi adalah salah satu faktor yang paling mempengaruhi perkembangan motorik kasar. Masalah gizi di Indonesia masih termasuk golongan tertinggi yang ada di kesehatan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara perkembangan motorik kasar dan status gizi anak. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey analitic dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara purvosive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 anak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan microtoice, timbangan dan pengukuran Denver II dan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik Kendall Tau dengan α=0,05. Hasil: ada hubungan ( p value = 0,000) antara perkembangan motorik kasar dengan status gizi anak. Status gizi baik dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan motorik anak normal.
