Abstract

This paper investigates the orientation and implications of using trade secrets as collateral, by analyzing legal regulations, case studies, and applicable legal approaches. The research method employed is a legal research method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data sources include legal documents, court decisions, and relevant scholarly literature. The data is analyzed qualitatively to identify patterns, trends, and implications of using trade secrets as collateral in business transactions. This paper indicates that utilizing trade secrets as collateral has the potential to support companies in obtaining funding and maintaining financial stability. However, this involves complexities in assessing the value of trade secrets, legal protection, information security, and trust among parties involved. Laws safeguarding intellectual property rights and trade secrets are crucial in governing and safeguarding this mechanism. The use of trade secrets also has broad impacts, encompassing legal, economic, and business aspects. In Indonesia, Law Number 30 of 2000 concerning Trade Secrets provides a legal basis for the protection of trade secrets. However, the use of trade secrets as collateral requires strong cooperation among involved parties, a deep understanding of rights and obligations, and thoughtful strategic considerations.

Abstract

The digital trend is now not only among academics and top-level government policymaking officials. However, to streamline and innovate the performance of the village level apparatus, it also needs to be considered. To prove the effectiveness of this trend, between an opportunity and a challenge, we try to collect as much evidence as possible from previous studies that we are looking for electronically, such as published journals, government regulations at home and abroad, and national newspapers. We have systematically reviewed all of these documents and ensured that the study would answer the problem of this study validly and reliably regarding the results. We analyze under a phenomenological approach, including coding systems, evaluation, interpretation, and conclusion. So, based on the available data, we conclude that the trend of computerization among village officials to improve the quality of work is time to be applied and foster their human resources.

Abstract

Abstract

This study discusses the review of consumer protection law in the era of internet-based trade. The author believes that along with technological advances, more and more business transactions are carried out electronically. So along with that, there are also business actions that harm consumers. For this reason, the author has conducted a search for scientific evidence to support the hypothesis of this study on a number of databases that discuss the issue in question. We then analyze the data to get a valid and convincing understanding. Based on the findings and discussion of the results, we can conclude that the consumer protection law needs to be strengthened with more binding rules while still taking into account the basic existing consumer protection laws, namely UUPK article 4 of electronic trading regulations.

Abstract

This research aims to enhance understanding of bullying in schools by applying a sociocultural theoretical framework. School bullying is a significant issue. The approach employed in this study involves doing a literature review by looking for relevant literature on the Scopus website. The retrieval procedure entails using specific keywords to search for articles on the Scopus website and subsequently analysing their relevance to the chosen keywords. The current literature review focuses on three primary themes: 1) The process of forming and understanding the concept of bullying; 2) The interpersonal aspect of bullying 3) Bullying as a component of an individual's life trajectory. The text discusses empirical findings for each topic to emphasise important issues, and presents arguments from relevant sociocultural theories to provide insight in each specific example. The findings demonstrate the potential for integrating diverse research on bullying and elucidating complicated phenomena. Considering sociocultural perspectives on bullying in schools has significant consequences for both study and practice. Bullying is influenced by the context in which it occurs, and it is important to consider the dynamics of relationships and the specific environments in which such behaviour takes place.
