Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of literacy skills of children aged 5-6 years at Roudhotu Ash Shibyan Kindergarten, Jambi City. The number of students at Roudhotu Ash Shibyan Kindergarten is 15 children, 5 boys and 10 girls. Based on the results of initial observations, it was found that the development of children's literacy skills had not developed well. The research method used in this study is PTK, the purpose of Classroom Action Research (PTK) is to improve the quality and learning outcomes practically. Classroom action research focuses on the class or on the learning process that occurs in the classroom. The results of the study showed that the literacy skills of children aged 5-6 years at Roudhotu Ash Shibyan Kindergarten in Jambi City increased using educational literacy box game tools with differentiated learning, this is evidenced by the end of cycle II action III that the scope of development of the basics of literacy with a description of the achievements of children's development is able to listen, have awareness of text messages, alphabets, and phonemics, are able to express questions and ideas, are able to use their language for cooperation skills, so there are no children who are BB (Not Yet Developing), there are no children who are MB (Starting to Develop), children who are BSH (Developing According to Expectations) are 20%, children who are BSB (Developing Very Well) are 80%

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the creativity of 5-6 year-old children at Taman Kanak-Kanak Islam Ahsan in Jambi City through ecoprint batik activities using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. Based on observations conducted by the researcher from December 18-20, 2023, involving 16 children at TK Islam Ahsan, daily and weekly analyses indicated that 12 children had not shown adequate development in their creativity. Specifically, 75% of the children were categorized as "Not Developing" (BB) in terms of curiosity and challenge progress in the art creativity indicators. The research employed the CAR method, which consisted of two cycles. In Cycle I, the intervention involved ecoprint batik activities using natural materials such as oranges and celery. In Cycle II, evaluation and reflection on the results from the previous cycle were carried out. Observations revealed a significant improvement in drawing skills and the creation of works resembling real forms. In both Cycles I and II, there was a shift to the "Starting to Develop" (MB), "Developing as Expected" (BSH), and "Developing Very Well" (BSB) categories. Supporting factors in this study included the engaging and enjoyable ecoprint method, skilled educator support, and a positive learning environment. Conversely, limiting factors included time constraints, resource availability, and individual differences in children's skills and interests

Abstract

Minat baca merupakan indikator penting dari tingkat literasi dan berkorelasi langsung dengan kemampuan berpikir analitis dan kualitas pendidikan secara keseluruhan. Prediksi minat baca dapat diselesaikan dengan pendekatan machine leraning menggunakan algoritma C4.5 yang handal dalam mengolah data. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh pohon keputusan C4.5 untuk prediksi minat baca, di mana variabel lingkungan membaca tidak mempengaruhi prediksi minat baca, sedangkan variabel umur yang paling berpengaruh terhadap prediksi minat baca. Sedangkan hasil evaluasi model menggunakan confusion matrix menghasilkan akurasi sebesar 71.14%, dimana menurut tafsiran guilford empirical rules akurasi tersebut termasuk tinggi/handal. Hasil interval kepercayaan didapatkan batas atas = 0.743437, dan batas bawah = 0.6771. Dengan demikian diperoleh model C4.5 untuk prediksi minat baca yang akurasinya tinggi/handal.

Abstract

The development of the culinary business in the digital era demands business actors to optimize online platforms in building brand image and increasing competitiveness. One of the important elements in this digital ecosystem is customer ratings and reviews, which can influence prospective consumers’ perceptions and business sustainability. This study aims to analyze the impact of customer ratings and reviews on the development of Kedai Tempoe Doloe in Bengkulu City. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 40 customers and semi-structured interviews with the shop manager. The data obtained were analyzed using thematic analysis and frequency distribution percentage calculations. The results showed that the majority of customers gave positive ratings in aspects of service (55% very satisfied), food taste (62.5% very satisfied), shop atmosphere (45% very satisfied), cleanliness (50% very satisfied), and facilities (42.5% very satisfied), with an overall satisfaction rate (Very Satisfied + Satisfied) of 84%. Customers’ favorite menus were Cuanki Doeloe (37.5%), Bakmi Ayam (25%), Ubi Brullee (17.5%), Teh Solo (12.5%), and Cireng (7.5%). These findings were supported by interview results indicating the need for improvements in complementary facilities and seating comfort during peak hours. In conclusion, customer ratings and reviews play a strategic role in the evaluation process, decision-making, and service development of culinary businesses at Kedai Tempoe Doloe.

Abstract

Background of the Study:In the context of Indonesia’s Merdeka Curriculum, assessment plays a crucial role in supporting student-centered learning, particularly in early childhood education (ECE). The Sekolah Penggerak initiative aims to improve the quality of teaching and learning through the integration of formative and summative assessments. However, challenges persist in effectively implementing these assessments at the ground level, especially in PAUD (Early Childhood Education) settings. Aims and Scope of the Paper:This study aims to examine how formative and summative assessments are implemented in Sekolah Penggerak PAUD institutions in Jambi City, and to explore teacher perceptions, implementation challenges, and the effectiveness of these assessments in improving student learning outcomes. Methods:A qualitative descriptive approach was used, involving 21 early childhood educators from selected Sekolah Penggerak. Data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed via Google Forms and analyzed thematically using the Miles and Huberman framework. Results:The findings indicate that formative assessments are actively used during the learning process to provide immediate feedback that enhances student engagement and understanding. Summative assessments are used to evaluate overall competency achievement at the end of a learning period. However, teachers face significant challenges, including time limitations, administrative burdens, and insufficient technical support. Conclusion:The study highlights the need for ongoing professional development and context-specific assessment strategies to ensure the effective integration of formative and summative assessments in early childhood education. The results offer practical implications for policy-makers, school leaders, and educators seeking to improve assessment practices within the Merdeka Curriculum framework.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh dimana belum berkembangnya aspek perkembangan nilai agama dan moral anak. Berdasarkan observasi awal di TK Buah Hati Kota Jambi Jambi pada 15-17 Mei 2025 terlihat bahwa masih terdapat anak yang belum sigap dalam mengerjakan praktik beribadah, anak belum dapat menjaga sikap dan cara berhubungan dengan orang lain, seperti bagaimana cara anak menyapa kepada orang yang lebih besar, orang yang lebih kecil maupun teman sebayanya, bukan hanya itu sikap anak saat bersalaman dan berbicara dengan teman juga menjadi cerminan dari perkembangan nilai agama dan moral anak. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan melalui kegiatan penelitian yang berkonteks kelas yang dilaksanakan untuk memecahkan masalah-masalah pembelajaran yang dihadapi oleh guru. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 12 anak yang dalam pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus dengan masing-masing 3 pertemuan. Setiap siklus memiliki empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pada perkembangan nilai agama dan moral anak setelah diberi tindakan pada siklus I pertemuan I namun belum memenuhi kriteria dengan persentase 34,02%. Selanjutnya, setelah diberikan tindakan kembali dengan dengan media panggung boneka dan meningkat menjadi 66,67% pada pertemuan III siklus I. Kemudian, pada siklus II perkembangan nilai agama dan moral anak sudah berkembang sesuai harapan dilihat dari persentase peningkatan hingga 75%. Pada siklus II pertemuan III perkembangan nilai agama dan moral anak sudah berkembang sangat baik dilihat dari hasil penelitian dengan persentase peningkatan hingga 82,64%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah Media Panggung Boneka dapat meningkatkan perkembangan nilai agama dan moral anak 5-6 tahun di TK Buah Hati Kota Jambi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pemanfaatan limbah kertas daun dan plastik (KDP) dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun di Taman Kanak-Kanak Buah Hati Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dirancang untuk memperbaiki proses dan hasil belajar siswa melalui tindakan pembelajaran yang inovatif. Sebelum intervensi KDP, kreativitas anak-anak sebagian besar berada pada kategori Belum Berkembang (BB) dan Mulai Berkembang (MB). Pada tahap prasiklus, anak-anak menunjukkan keterbatasan dalam menghasilkan bentuk, rasa ingin tahu, dan kemampuan mencipta secara mandiri. Implementasi KDP dalam pembelajaran menunjukkan dampak positif pada kreativitas anak-anak. Pada Siklus I, meskipun ada peningkatan, anak-anak masih membutuhkan bantuan dalam berkarya. Namun, pada Siklus II, sebagian besar anak berada dalam kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH) dan Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB). Teknik seperti semprotan warna dan jiplak daun lebih efektif dalam merangsang kreativitas dibandingkan teknik sebelumnya. Hasil akhir menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan KDP secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan anak dalam menghasilkan bentuk, rasa ingin tahu, dan kemandirian dalam proses kreatif. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya inovasi dalam metode pembelajaran untuk memaksimalkan pengembangan keterampilan kreatif dan kemandirian anak di usia dini

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun melalui Metode Sains Hujan Pelangi di TK Kasih Bunda. Kemampuan kognitif pada usia dini sangat penting dalam membangun dasar berpikir logis, pemecahan masalah, dan pemahaman konsep sains. Metode Sains Hujan Pelangi diterapkan dalam penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan melibatkan 15 siswa sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum diberikan tindakan, kemampuan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun masih rendah dengan persentase sebesar 29,44%. Setelah penerapan Metode Sains Hujan Pelangi, terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan di setiap tahapan penelitian. Pada siklus I, persentase perkembangan kemampuan kognitif meningkat dari 33,33% (pertemuan I), 43,33% (pertemuan II), hingga 58,89% (pertemuan III). Peningkatan berlanjut pada siklus II, yaitu 69,44% (pertemuan I), 80,00% (pertemuan II), hingga mencapai 89,40% (pertemuan III). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan Metode Sains Hujan Pelangi efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Kasih Bunda. Oleh karena itu, metode ini dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran sains untuk mengoptimalkan perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini

Abstract

21st-century education demands learning strategies that are able to adapt to the needs and characteristics of individual students. Personalized learning is one relevant approach because it is designed based on students' interests, abilities, and learning styles. This approach is in line with constructivism theory which emphasizes the active role of students in building knowledge through meaningful learning experiences. Motivation and learning independence are two important aspects that can be improved through the implementation of personalized learning. This study aims to determine the effect of personalized learning on the motivation and learning independence of class XI F4 students at SMAN 1 Jambi City. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method and a Pre-Experimental One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research sample was 36 students selected through purposive sampling technique from a population of 143 class XI students. The instruments used were pretest and posttest questionnaires to measure motivation and learning independence. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Paired Sample T-Test. The results showed that personalized learning has a positive and significant effect on students' motivation and learning independence, with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). However, the N-Gain test results indicated a low level of learning effectiveness, due to the short duration of the intervention and its early implementation. Nevertheless, personalized learning still shows potential for encouraging students to be more motivated and independent. This study recommends the continued implementation of personalized learning with appropriate strategies to optimize overall student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi menuntut efisiensi dalam pengelolaan sumber daya akademik, termasuk penyediaan informasi ruang kelas kosong. Mahasiswa dan dosen sering mengalami kesulitan dalam mencari ruang yang tersedia karena sistem manual dan antarmuka yang tidak ramah pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang antarmuka aplikasi informasi ruang kelas kosong berbasis web dengan pendekatan User-Centered Design (UCD) untuk meningkatkan User Experience (UX). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan observasi dan wawancara terhadap calon pengguna guna memahami kebutuhan, ekspektasi, dan konteks penggunaan aplikasi. Hasil dari perancangan ini berupa prototipe antarmuka aplikasi yang terdiri dari tampilan splash screen, login, halaman utama, serta profil pengguna. Desain ini menitikberatkan pada kemudahan navigasi, kejelasan informasi, dan keterlibatan pengguna dalam seluruh proses perancangan. Dengan menerapkan metode UCD, aplikasi diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi efektif terhadap permasalahan pencarian ruang kelas yang kosong secara real-time.
