Abstract

This study examines the factors that influence FDI in OIC member countries in the ASEAN region: Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei Darussalam. Foreign direct investment is considered an important source of capital for the economic growth of developing countries. FDI flows to developing countries reached USD 837 billion in 2021, with Southeast Asia being one of the largest recipients. This study uses time series data from 2000–2022 and a VECM model to analyze the causal relationship between FDI, exchange rates, inflation, CO₂ emissions, exports, and imports. The results show that exchange rates and inflation have a significant impact on foreign direct investment in the long term, while CO₂ emissions, exports, and imports are not significant, differing from some previous studies that emphasized the role of trade and the environment. These findings indicate that macroeconomic stability, regulation, infrastructure, and institutions are key determinants of FDI flows. Although the impact of green policies has not been significant, initiatives such as carbon taxes and clean energy programs in the three countries show potential for attracting sustainable investment in the future.

Abstract

Banks are the most important financial institutions and play a vital role in everyone's life. The problem in this study is that the majority of Indonesia's population is Muslim. This large Muslim population in Indonesia is problematic because the large number of Muslims in Indonesia does not make Islamic banks a market winner. This study aims to determine the influence of religiosity, product attribute perceptions, and value perceptions on customer loyalty at Bank Syariah Indonesia, Palembang Branch Office. This study used a questionnaire as the research instrument. The method used in this study was quantitative. The results showed a positive and significant influence between religiosity and customer loyalty at Bank Syariah Indonesia's Palembang Branch Office. There was a positive and significant influence between product attribute perceptions and customer loyalty at Bank Syariah Indonesia's Palembang Branch Office. There was a positive and significant influence between value perceptions and customer loyalty at Bank Syariah Indonesia's Palembang Branch Office. There was a positive and significant influence between religiosity, product attribute perceptions, and value perceptions simultaneously on customer loyalty at Bank Syariah Indonesia's Palembang Branch Office.

Abstract

Pemilihan algoritma enkripsi yang tepat merupakan tantangan krusial dalam menjaga keamanan data, namun banyak pengguna menghadapi kesulitan karena keterbatasan pengetahuan teknis dan banyaknya literatur yang harus dianalisis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem rekomendasi berbasis Content- Based Filtering (CBF) yang terintegrasi dengan teknik text mining untuk membantu proses pemilihan algoritma enkripsi secara lebih cepat, tepat, dan berbasis data ilmiah. Metodologi penelitian yang dilakukan meliputi pengumpulan 300 artikel ilmiah dari portal Garuda Kemdikbud melalui teknik web scraping, yang kemudian melalui tahapan preprocessing seperti tokenisasi, stopword removal, dan case folding. Data tersebut direpresentasikan menggunakan metode TF-IDF, sementara tingkat kemiripan antara kebutuhan pengguna dan literatur dihitung menggunakan Cosine Similarity. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan distribusi algoritma yang paling dominan dibahas dalam literatur adalah RSA (52 artikel), AES (40 artikel), dan RC4 (25 artikel). Sistem rekomendasi yang dibangun terbukti efektif karena mampu memberikan saran yang relevan sesuai kebutuhan spesifik, seperti merekomendasikan AES sebagai algoritma utama untuk kriteria “algoritma cepat untuk data sensitif”. Pemanfaatan text mining dan CBF dalam sistem ini memberikan solusi yang lebih efektif dibandingkan metode manual karena sistem mampu melakukan analisis literatur secara mendalam dan otomatis, sehingga meminimalkan risiko kesalahan pemilihan yang dapat berdampak pada inefisiensi komputasi dan kerentanan keamanan data.

Abstract

Bioinformatics can help identify cancer risk factors, predict cancer, and develop effective prevention strategies. The development of bioinformatics technologies such as genetic data analysis, development of prediction models, and personalization of treatment have opened up new opportunities in cancer prevention. This research aims to examine the role of bioinformatics in preventing cancer and building a better health future. By understanding the potential of bioinformatics, we can develop effective prevention strategies and improve people's quality of life. Prevention and efforts to control breast cancer were discovered using bioinformatics technology. This research shows that the implementation of bioinformatics has a positive impact on efforts to prevent breast cancer for the future of health.

Abstract

Leadership is an important factor that influences the success of educational organizations. As a leader, the principal plays a significant role in directing, motivating, and mobilizing all school members to achieve educational goals. This study aims to examine the concept, types, and roles of leadership styles in educational organizations. The research employed a qualitative method using a literature review approach based on relevant books and scientific articles. The findings indicate that there are several leadership styles, including authoritarian, democratic, laissez-faire, transformational, and situational leadership. Each style has different characteristics and should be applied according to organizational conditions. An appropriate leadership style can improve teacher motivation, discipline, performance, organizational effectiveness, and create a harmonious work environment. Therefore, school principals need to implement suitable leadership styles to support educational quality improvement and achieve organizational goals effectively.

Abstract

The existence and the use of live fish hold system, can help fishermen to reduce the operating costs in fishpreservation 11.8%. The live fish hold system, which fish hold were given circulation hole so the water insideand outside the hatch is connected, there should be researched about the changes and differences in pressurethat happened when the ship moves.Initial condition where the ship is not moving, surface of water in the fish hold will be the same height with adraught of ship. When the ship began to move out, the pressure of fish hold will decrease along with increasingthe speed of the ship. This will caused a decrease of water surface elevation in fish hold.According the calculation and analysis we found on the speed of 12 knots the water surface elevation in hold ispositive with a value 0,3947 m on to 0,20 m diameter of hole circulation (before variation), 0,4515 m on to 0,15m diameter of hole circulation, 0,4656 m onto 0,25 m diameter of hole circulation, 0,4718 m on to 0,20 mdiameter of two pieces of hole cilculation and -0,9410 m for manual calculation with all variations.The optimum hole circulation was chossen at two pieces of diameter of 0,20 m because on the speed 12 knots,the water elevation is 0,4718 m. This value is the higest among the other variations of the cilculation hole
