Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the structure of the text mantra, the requirements in the process of inheritance mantra, incantations and supporting aspects Pasisik in Kenagarian Canduang. This research is descriptive qualitative research method. The research findings are from structure aspect using basmallah as the opening mantra, the contents of the mantra is a request to God for temp people into his compassion and love to those who wanted it, and say lailahaillallah as the closing mantra. Supporting aspects of the mantra is: (1) the time of incantations at night, (2) the place of incantations is at home or in requester shaman mantra’s house, (3) an event or occasion of mantra is when there is a request, (4 ) the actors in the chant is someone who is  a healer, (5) equipment in the mirror spell, gelundi three branches, rendang peanuts, candy, salt, (6) the dress that usually used is clean regular clothes and close the genitals, (7) the way in bringing the mantra that is sitting cross-legged, concentrating and need a quiet atmosphere. Aspects spell inheritance is bequeathed by the family and learn to implement the conditions studied, the introduction of yourself.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research I’m made to know and analyse the effect of product design and product quality towards customer loyalty with customer satisfaction as intervening variable. This research is a quantitative research by using path analysis technique. Sample taken by using Slovin formula with using the purposive sampling technique with 94 sample of respondence.The result shows that there is the significant effect of product design towards customer satisfaction, there is significant effect of product quality towards customer satisfaction, product design also have a significant effect towards customer loyalty, product quality affected on customer loyalty, satisfactory have significant effect towards customer loyalty. Then, indirectly product design have affected towards customer loyalty by the satisfactory as intervening variable cannot be proven, product quality indirectly affected on customer loyalty with satisfactory as intervening variable. Based on the result of this research can be concluded that one product which have interesting design and good quality can make the customer feels satisfied, so that customer will be loyal.Keywords: Product Design, Product Quality, Customer Loyalty And Satisfactory

Abstract

Konjungsi atau dikenal juga dengan kata hubung adalah kata tugas yang digunakan untuk menghubungkan kata dengan kata, frasa dengan frasa, klausa dengan klausa, kalimat dengan kalimat, dan bahkan paragraf dengan paragraf. Peneliti memilih judul penelitian ini dikarenakan karena penggunaan konjungsi dalam sebuah kalimat sangat berpengaruh terhadap makna kalimat. Penelitian ini memiliki dua tujuan, yaitu (1) mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan penggunaan konjungsi kausalitas pada teks eksplanasi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Bayang dan (2) mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan penggunaan konjungsi kronologis pada teks eksplanasi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Bayang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah kalimat yang mengandung konjungsi kausalitas dan konjungsi kronologis pada teks eksplanasi yang ditulis oleh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Bayang. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah teks eksplanasi yang ditulis oleh siswa kelas VIII.2 SMP Negeri 2 Bayang yang berjumlah 28 teks. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik dokumentasi. Teknik penganalisisan data dalam penelitian ini, yaitu (1) reduksi data, (2) display data (penyajian data), dan (3) penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam teks eksplanasi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Bayang tersebut terdapat 72 konjungsi kausalitas yang tepat penggunaannya dan 121 konjungsi konjungsi kausalitas yang tidak tepat. Di samping itu, juga terdapat 21 konjungsi kronologis yang tepat penggunaannya dan 132 konjungsi kronologis yang tidak tepat. Kesalahan penggunaan konjungsi kausalitas dalam Teks Eksplanasi Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Bayang paling banyak ditemukan pada penggunaan konjungsi oleh karena itu. Kesalahan penggunaan konjungsi kronologis dalam Teks Eksplanasi Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Bayang paling banyak ditemukan pada penggunaan konjungsi kemudian. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Penggunaan Konjungsi Kausalitas dan Konjungsi Kronologis pada Teks Eksplanasi Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Bayang tergolong kurang baik, karena penggunaan konjungsi kausalitas dan konjungsi kronologis tidak tepat lebih banyak dari pada penggunaan konjungsi kausalitas dan konjungsi kronologis yang tepat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil tulisan teks eksposisi siswa terjadi banyak kesalahan karena tidak memperhatikan penulisannya seperti ejaan bahasa Indonesia dan diksi. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah sebagai berikut. Pertama, mendeskripsikan penggunaan ejaan bahasa Indonesia dalam teks eksposisi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Bayang. Kedua, mendeskripsikan penggunaan diksi dalam teks eksposisi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Bayang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Data dari penelitian ini berupa teks eksposisi yang diperoleh dari sumber data penelitian. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dokumen. Dokumen yang digunakan adalah kumpulan teks eksposisi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Bayang yang dikumpulkan saat pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia kepada guru. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan hal-hal berikut. Pertama, penggunaan ejaan bahasa Indonesia dalam teks eksposisi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Bayang lebih banyak memiliki ketepatan penulisan huruf, penulisan kata, penulisan tanda baca, dan penulisan unsur serapan. Dari teks eksposisi siswa tersebut masih terdapat siswa yang belum memahami penggunaan ejaan bahasa Indonesia, hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari 26 teks eksposisi siswa dengan 340 ketidaktepatan penulisan huruf, 96 ketidaktepatan penulisan kata, 172 ketidaktepatan penulisan tanda baca, dan 47 ketidaktepatan penulisan unsur serapan. Kedua, penggunaan diksi dalam teks eksposisi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Bayang lebih banyak memiliki kesesuian diksi, ketepatan diksi, keekonomisan diksi, ketegasan diksi, dan kejelasan diksi. Dari teks eksposisi tersebut masih ada siswa yang belum paham tentang penggunaan diksi. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan 22 ketidaksesuaian diksi, 30 ketidaktepatan diksi, 64 ketidakekonomisan diksi, 32 ketidaktegasan diksi, dan 43 ketidakjelasan diksi. Penyebab kesalahan ini karena siswa kurang paham dengan penggunaan ejaan bahasa Indonesia dan diksi (pemilihan kata).

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to describe  and explain (1) the meaning of Efek Rumah Kaca’s (ERK) songs lyrics in ERK’s album based on semiotic reading, (2) matrix and model of ERK’s songs lyrics in ERK’s album, (3) intertekstuality of ERK’s songs lyrics in ERK’s album. The data of research are taken from twelve songs of ERK in the ERK album . Data were collected by listening and transcript the song. The result of research were (1) based on semiotic reading the ERK’s songs lyrics in ERK’s album raise complex social issues, (2) the determination of the matrix and the integrity of the model greatly help unravel the meaning of the ERK’s songs lyrics in ERK’s album, and (3) interktekstuality ERK’s songs lyrics in ERK’s album found in the Quranic verse, film, poetry, and social realities in society.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe novel structural gender exitences that are  reflected on women characters involving. Gender eksistences as domestic sector and gender existences as public sector on novel Jurang Keadilan composed by Pipiet Senja this research discusied aboud the nature of novel, novel structural, fiction analisys approach, the nature of feminism, and the nature of gender existence. This is a qualitative research by using descriptif method to analyze novel structurals in general and mimesys approach to analyze the gender existence an a novel. First edition of the object of this research is Jurang Keadilan written by Pipiet Senja printing 1 dzuhijjah 1431 H/Desember 2010. Collection data were conducted by there steps. (1) reading and understanding the novel, (2) marking the parts that indicate the gender existence, (3) identifying characters to find the similaritles with the research problem, (4) classifying sentences and paragraph that could visualize pictures of women in Jurang Keadilan novel. After the data collected, those data will be analyzed by these following steps: (1) describing the novel structural, (2) classifying the gender existence data, (3) interpreting the gender exixtence on women characters, (4) resulting data that has been analyzed and interpreted and (5) reporting the research result.

Abstract

This article aim to deskription (1) relation unsure, (2) estate unsure, (3) marriage unsure to be found in novel Hidup adalah Perjuangan by Azwar Sutan Malaka. The data of this study is copy or words written of object that direct to Minangkabau culture. This research use approximation sociology literature. The results of this research are (1) relation in Minangkabau is matrilineal relation. In the matrilineal system, women have fuction like the joint heirs of tribe and have estate, (2) in tradision Minangkabau, estate dont to sell, but the women do sell estate, so that appear a problem, and (3) marriage in Minangkabau have two arrangement , based on religion and tradision. Based on religion is talk marriage settlement, but based on tradision is follow some marriage manners , that is a propose, marriage and manjapuik marapulai. And if happened separation, dead separated or life separated, so according tradision a man beck to home with family.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find the meaning contained in the text Pasambahan Manjapuik Marapulai in Kenagarian Koto-Tinggi Sub-district Baso Regency Agam Districtusing semiotic theory. This study uses semiotic theory proposed by Charle Sanders Pierce. This research looks at the signs contained in text form Pasambahan Manjapuik Marapulai symbol, index and icon. Data collected through library research, observation, interviews and some of the data taken from the internet. Data analysis was done descriptively. The results of these findings are the first, there are 31signs symbols, 5 marks icon and 3marks index. The results of this study are the signs contained in the text Pasambahan Manjapuik Marapulai. Next, look for the inner meaning behind these signs. The meaning contained in the  only explicit but implied meaning of meaning and cultural semiotic meanings.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the role and impact of converting psychological character Isabella in the novel Isabella works of Maulana Muhammad Saeed Dehlvi by: (1) aspects of the Id, (2) aspects of the Ego, (3) aspects of the Super Ego. The data of this research are the word, phrase, phrases, and sentences that lead to the converting by Isabella that author expressed in the story. The data resources is founded in the novel itself. The data is collected by using descriptive methode that priorityzing the interaction interconcepts that studied empirically. The result of this research is thebpsychological impact that experienced by Isabella in the novel Isabella caused by id impulse that dominating herself.

Abstract

The purpose of this article to describe the image of women in novel Aku Bukan Budak by Astina Triutami, the review of the two aspects , namely (a) the image of women as individuals and, (b) the image of women as members of society. The data of this  study are sentences or section of novel text about  the image of women. Analyzing techniques (1) described the structure of the novel Aku Bukan Budak by Astina Triutami, (2) classify data relating to the images of women, (3) interpret the data relating to the images of women, (4) analyze and inventory of data relating to the images of women, (5) concluded the research of data, (6) writing the report. The study’s findings that the image of women in novel Aku Bukan Budak by Astina Ttiutami is the image of women as an individuals involves the images of women patient, graceful, kindly and as members of the society that includes concern for others, and relationship with environment and other people.
