Abstract

Behavior is an organism's response to internal and external stimuli. By definition, behavior is an action performed by a living being in reaction to a stimulus. A consistent pattern of response to specific stimuli is categorized as behavior. An animal's ability to survive is reflected in these behavioral patterns. Each animal species has a unique way of acting, corresponding to their anatomical structure. Therefore, it is crucial to study animal behavior patterns in depth, given their critical role in maintaining ecosystem sustainability and balance. This research aims to investigate how the provision of stimuli to animals generates responses in the form of behavioral patterns towards their environment. By writing this research, it is hoped that the general public can understand more about animal behavior patterns. This research method is a literature review or literature review through several research articles, this review is done by searching from a database in the form of Google Scholar and obtaining 5 research articles.

Abstract

This study aims to produce valid and reliable Higher Order Thinking Skills instruments in learning the biology of ecology and environment material. The research is a Research and Development study with the ADDIE model. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri Kerinci. The sample in the study came from 2 biology education lecturers and 3 biology teachers. The instruments in this study were a 20-item multiple-choice HOTS test sheet and a validation questionnaire. Data collection techniques are tests and validation questionnaires. Indicators of Higher Order Thinking Skills are the ability to analyze, evaluate and create. Data analysis is quantitative and qualitative data analysis with the help of the SPSS version 16 application. The results showed that the Higher Order Thinking Skills instrument had a validation value of 0.724 with decent criteria and reliability of 0.972 with high criteria. These findings explain that the Higher Order Thinking SSkills(HOTS) instrument is very valid and reliable for use in ecology and environmental materials.

Abstract

Melakukan sebuah penilaian merupakan salah satu bagian-bagian yang dilakukan oleh para peneliti. Artikel ini membahas sebuah penelitian yang menguji coba pendekatan konstruktivisme dalam pembelajaran membaca teks deskripsi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat kategori prates dan postes, serta ada atau tidaknya perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukannya tindakan penerapan pendekatan konstruktivisme. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII MTs Darus Shofa. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah teknik tes dengan instrumen penelitian tes pilihan berganda. Data penelitian berbentuk data rasio yang akan diuji dengan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas sebagai uji persyaratan analisis. Data pada penelitian ini berkategori normal dan homogen sehingga pada tahapan analisis data menggunakan uji t satu sampel, uji t sampel independen, dan uji t sampel berpasangan. Untuk prates diperoleh nilai t hitung sebanyak -3.06 dan t tabel sebanyak 2.26. Sedangkan untuk postes diperoleh nilai t hitung sebanyak 3.29 dan t tabel sebanyak 2.26, keduanya berkategori rendah. Dengan menggunakan uji t sampel berpasangan diperoleh nilai t hitung = 1.16 dan t tabel = 2.26, Ho diterima. Artinya, tidak adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara prates dan postes. Hal ini juga dapat terlihat dari rata-rata prates yaitu 13.3 memiliki sedikit peningkatan pada postes, yaitu 15.2.

Abstract

This research and development aimed to produce descriptive text reading materials based on a constructivism approach. This research was conducted through the following procedures: (1) analyzing needs; (2) designing the product; (3) developing the initial product; (4) conducting a limited trial; (5) revising the product; (6) conducting a large-scale trial; and (7) producing the product (a prototype). The instrument used in this research was a questionnaire addressed to experts, users (Bahasa Indonesia teachers), and the audience (grade VII students of SMP/MTs). In addition, a cloze test was utilized to measure the readability of descriptive texts and the main narration of the learning materials. The development of the materials was carried out based on the five phases of constructivism proposed by Needham. The product trial was conducted in grade VII junior high schools in Kabupaten Lingga, Kepulauan Riau Province, which were not exposed to Covid-19. This study concluded that the developed learning materials were feasible for descriptive text reading materials, and it was expected that these materials would provide a positive contribution to the development of educational science.

Abstract

This quasi-experimental study aims to analyze the effectiveness of differentiated learning within the Merdeka Curriculum in enhancing the mathematical connection and resilience of junior high school students in East Kalimantan Province. The research employed a pretest-posttest control group design, involving purposively selected eighth-grade students from several public schools. Data was collected through a mathematical connection test, a resilience questionnaire, and learning process observations. The results indicate that differentiated learning significantly improved students' mathematical connection and resilience compared to conventional instruction. The experimental group's average mathematical connection score increased from a low to a high category, with notable improvements in their ability to relate mathematical concepts to daily life and other mathematical ideas. Furthermore, students demonstrated significantly enhanced mathematical resilience, particularly in perseverance, problem-solving persistence, and adaptability to challenges. Key success factors included needs-based lesson planning, active student engagement, and motivating reflective practices.In conclusion, Differentiated instruction is effective in significantly increasing the mathematical resilience of eighth-grade students in East Kalimantan, with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05. Differentiated instruction is effective in significantly increasing the mathematical connection of eighth-grade students in East Kalimantan, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05.Differentiated instruction is effective in simultaneously and significantly increasing both the mathematical resilience and mathematical connection of eighth-grade students in East Kalimantan, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. It is recommended that teachers adopt differentiated strategies more widely to support inclusive, meaningful learning and develop student competencies in the era of independent learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perkembangan dan arah penelitian mengenai pengelolaan ekosistem mangrove dalam mendukung keberlanjutan wilayah pesisir selama periode 2019–2025. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) berdasarkan pedoman PRISMA 2020. Sebanyak 15 artikel jurnal ilmiah nasional dan internasional diseleksi dari basis data Scopus, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, dan Google Scholar. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tema penelitian mengalami pergeseran signifikan dari konservasi struktural menuju integrasi antara ekologi, sosial-ekonomi, dan kebijakan. Lima tema utama yang diidentifikasi adalah: (1) ekologi dan blue carbon; (2) restorasi dan rehabilitasi; (3) sosial-ekonomi dan kelembagaan; (4) kebijakan dan tata kelola; serta (5) teknologi dan monitoring. Pengelolaan berbasis masyarakat, inovasi pemantauan digital, dan mekanisme pasar karbon biru muncul sebagai pendekatan strategis yang efektif. Namun demikian, ditemukan sejumlah kesenjangan penelitian, antara lain kurangnya studi longitudinal, minimnya data wilayah timur Indonesia, serta lemahnya integrasi kebijakan antar-lembaga. Oleh karena itu, riset ke depan disarankan untuk menggabungkan pendekatan socio-ecological systems dengan penguatan tata kelola dan teknologi partisipatif agar mangrove dapat menjadi fondasi keberlanjutan pesisir dan mitigasi perubahan iklim nasional.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the personality types of the main character in the short story Syaikh Balbis by Taufiq al-Hakim. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method using the Hippocrates–Gallenus literary psychology personality type theory as its analytical approach. This study uses written data found in Taufiq al-Hakim’s short story Syaikh Balbis, which demonstrates the compatibility of the main character’s personality type with the Hippocrates–Gallenus perspective. The data collection methods used in this study include reading and note-taking techniques, library research, close reading, and manual coding. The data were analyzed using data analysis techniques consisting of identification, analysis, and conclusion drawing. The findings of this study indicate that four personality types according to Hippocrates—sanguine, choleric, melancholic, and phlegmatic—are present in the characters of Taufiq al-Hakim’s short story Syaikh Balbis. The researcher hopes that this study may serve as a reference for future research related to the Hippocrates–Gallenus literary psychology theory.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of process skills approach in learning reading explanation text in grade 11 of MA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. The method used was a quantitative research method with an experimental research model. The design of this research was one group pret estpostest design. Sampling techniques used was simple random sampling. The population in this study was 78 students with 65 students were chosen as the samples. Data collection technique used multiple choice with 20 questions. This test was used to assess student’s reading skills. Data analysis techniques used the lilifors normality test and chi-square test, then tested the hypothesis using the one-sample test, one-way ANOVA, and two-way ANOVA. The average pretest scores in the control class were 7.65, while the average pretest scores in the experimental class were 6.25. The average postest scores in the control class were 8.9, while the average postest scores in the experimental class were 6.8. The findings showed that there was significant effect of the application of the process skills approach toward learning reading explanation texts in grade 11 students of MA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis perhitungan, penyetoran, dan pembayaran PPN Terutang sebelum dan sesudah sebelum dan sesudah Undang-Undang Harmonisasi Perpajakan No.7 tahun 2021 pada PT. Dua Ribu Emas.penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan cara wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PT. Dua Ribu Emas dalam Perhitungannya dari 2020-2022 kurang bayar dan sudah sesuai sebelum dan sesudah UU HPP No.7 Tahun 2021 sedangkan pada penyetoran dan pembayaran sudah tepat waktu dan sudah sesuai sebelum dan sesudah UU HPP No.7 Tahun 2021. This study aims to determine the analysis of the calculation, deposit, and payment of VAT Payable before and after before and after the Tax Harmonization Law No.7 of 2021 at PT. Dua Ribu Emas. this research uses qualitative descriptive analysis. Data collection techniques obtained by means of interviews and documentation.The results showed that the results showed that PT. Dua Ribu Emas in its calculations from 2020-2022 was underpaid and was in accordance before and after the HPP Law No.7 of 2021, while the deposits and payments were on time and were in accordance before and after the HPP Law No.7 of 2021.

Abstract

Future generations are a crucial pillar of society. They will become leaders and take charge of societal development. Therefore, preparing the younger generation is essential, especially through dayah educational institutions. As the oldest religious education institutions operating within Indonesian society, dayah institutions face numerous challenges in adapting to the digital era. These challenges include preparing the younger generation to keep up with modern developments and becoming agents of community development. This article employs qualitative research methods to address these issues, using observation and analytical studies of relevant documentation. The findings suggest that dayah educational institutions need to modernize their systems by integrating technological advancements and preparing adequate resources to support their educational missions. Additionally, incorporating religious moderation into the curriculum is necessary to foster tolerance and appreciation for diversity among the younger generation. This approach aims to safeguard them from the influence of hoaxes disseminated by irresponsible parties via social media and the internet, which could disrupt societal unity.
