Abstract

Based on the result of preresearch in the form of observation, interviews, and data on learning outcomes conducted in the fourth grade students at Nyi Ageng Serang Cluster Elementary school in Semarang, it was known that the social studies learning outcomes were not optimal because the learning model and media used were also not optimal. Although the teacher had used problem-based learning model, the students still had difficulties to identify problems and the media in the form of A4 print out pictures were not enough to help them. This study aimed to test the effectiveness of problem-based learning model assisted by blog media on the social studies learning outcomes in fourth grade students at Nyi Ageng Serang Cluster Elementary School in Semarang. This research used quantitative approach with the experimental type and nonequivalent control group design. The sample technique used cluster random sampling, with population of 172 students. The data collection used tests, observations and documentation. The hypothesis test result showed that the value of tcount = 4.007, and ttable = 2.009, because tcount ˃ ttable (4.007 ˃ 2.009) which means that the problem based learning model assisted by blog media was effective to increase the social studies learning outcomes of the fourth grade students. The n-gain test result of the experimental group was 0.40 categorized in medium criteria, whereas the n-gain test result of control group was 0.15, categorized in low criteria. The observation of students' activities using observation sheets showed the average score of the activity of experimental class students was 82%, which is better than the control class that only got 64%. The conclusion of this research is that the problem-based learning model assisted by blog media was effectively used in social studies learning in fourth grade students at Nyi Ageng Serang Cluster Elementary School in Semarang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development, feasibility, and effectiveness of video media globalization of learning material in the subjects of Civics 4thgrade SDN 01 Purwoyoso Semarang. This research is a development (Research and Devlopment). The development model used is the Waterfall model. The population in this study are students of SDN 01 Purwoyoso totaled 27 students. Data collection techniques are test and non test. The development consists of five stages: analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Results of the assessment of the material validator figures show the percentage of 82.14% to the category of "Eligible". As for the assessment of media validator figures show the percentage of 85% to the category of "Very Decent". Based on the results obtained by the Sig t test (two-tailed) of 0.000.Value Sig (2-tailed) of 0.000 0.05. It can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, which means there are significant differences between the learning outcomes of globalization Civics material before and after using the instructional video media. Thus instructional video media products is feasible and effective for use in the process of learning civics.

Abstract

Curriculum 2013 prioritizes scientific-based learning. The scientific approach to familiarize students think high order thinking patterns. Based on preliminary analysis known that teachers have difficulties in designing a lesson plan scientifically based and requires a reading source procurement efforts. The development of technology can be used to develop educational products, such as e-books using the 3D Pageflip Professional program. Based on the literature study, this program has the advantage of digital interactive book design, flexible, efficient and effective as it integrates text, images, audio, and video. The study was conducted with the aim to provide problem-solving efforts related to adherence to the curriculum in 2013 through the development of scientific learning e-book. Researchers used the ADDIE model of research and development with the flow: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of research in the form of an e-book product of scientific study that has been declared feasible by a team of experts (97.33% of material and media expert 98.7%), practitioners (supervisory 97.33%), and 90.6% with teachers' perceptions category very good. Abstract

This study was based on the low ability of mathematical problem solving in students of SMK Negeri 1 Dukuhturi, Tegal. The purpose of this study was (1) analyzing the effectiveness of the PBL Model assisted by Interactive CD in improving the ability to solve mathematical problems reviewed from the cognitive style of Vocational students, (2) analyzing mathematical problem solving ability reviewed from the cognitive style of FD of Vocational students in the PBL model assisted by Interactive CD, (3) analyzing the mathematical problem solving ability reviewed from the cognitive style of FI Vocational students in the PBL Model assisted by Interactive CD. The study used sequential explanatory mixed methods which were combination research methods that combine quantitative and qualitative research methods in sequence. The results showed that the average value of Post-test on students with PBL learning models assisted by interactive CD was 76. Meanwhile, the average score of Post-Test of students with interactive lecture learning was 70. The increased of the mathematical problems solving of the students achieve the classical completeness with a significance level of 0.05 obtained zvalue = 0.9901 < ztable = 2.035. The results of data reduction showed that FI students with PBL models assisted by CD Interactive had better mathematical problem-solving ability than FI students with interactive lectures. FD students with PBL models assisted by CD Interactive have better mathematical problem-solving ability than FD students with interactive lecture learning. This research can be used as an alternative to answering the problem-solving ability that occurs in mathematics learning.

Abstract

Along with the rapid development of information technology (IT), the need for an IT-based concept and learning mechanism becomes inevitable. Therefore, one form of information technology has emerged, namely facilities for learning systems called e-learning. This research aims to describe the learning system of class XI RPL web in Vocational High School Ibu Kartini Semarang, develop e-learning in class XI RPL web programming in Vocational High School Ibu Kartini Semarang, measure the feasibility of e-development products learning in class XI RPL web programming subjects at Vocational High School Ibu Kartini Semarang, measuring the effectiveness of e-learning development products in web programming subjects in class XI RPL at Vocational High School Ibu Kartini Semarang. This study uses Thiagarajan model, and e-learning was developed through four stages, namely preliminary studies, development planning and validation, product trials, and final product determination. The process of evaluating the feasibility of instructional media by giving questionnaires to media experts, material experts, and respondents of trial use (students). The results showed that the developed e-learning had fulfilled the requirements and fulfilled the requirements to be used as learning media. The results of the pre-test calculation get the value of tvalue = 0.733 and ttable = 1.67 while the post-test results produce a value of tvalue = 2.986 and ttable = 1.67 so that the hypothesis that can be taken is H0 is rejected if tvalue > ttable that an increase in student learning outcomes. The results of the calculation of students' early and late learning interests in the use of e-learning, with an average percentage increase of 16.38% of the previous learning interest. Based on the above research, the implication in the field of curriculum development science is the use of technology in learning web programming following the development of education 4.0.
