Abstract

The problem in this study is what are the difficulties in learning PPKn for grade V students of SDN 19 Sirenja? and how to overcome the learning difficulties of PPKn grade V students of SDN 19 Sirenja?. The purpose of this study is to identify learning difficulties in PPKn class V SDN 19 Sirenja and to find out how to overcome learning difficulties in PPKn class V SDN 19 Sirenja. This type of research is qualitative research. The data collection in this study is interviews, observations, and documentation related to student learning difficulties. Data analysis techniques in qualitative research are carried out during data collection, and after the completion of data collection in a certain period. The results of this study are known to describe the learning difficulties of the students studied, most of whom are difficult to understand the material, difficulty understanding the learning media, lack of concentration, lack of attention in learning, slowness when processing learning materials, difficulty understanding sentences, unclear intonation, low learning outcomes.

Abstract

The curriculum is an important guideline in achieving educational goals, which is designed according to the aspirations and needs of students. Government Regulation Number 57 of 2021, concerning National Education Standards emphasizes the importance of curriculum development that is tailored to the characteristics of the region, the character of the educational unit, and the needs of students. This is a form of school independence, where each educational unit is given the widest possible space to develop its own operational curriculum that reflects their own needs and peculiarities.  However, there are still many schools that have not implemented a flexible curriculum optimally. This study aims to describe the implementation of differentiated learning in grade V of SDN Kabonena. Using a qualitative approach of case studies, the results show that teachers have applied the principle of differentiation in aspects of content, process, and learning environment. The materials are tailored to the students' abilities, learning methods vary, and the classroom environment is designed to be comfortable and supports independent learning. However, in the product aspect, there has been no variation in the way students show understanding, due to the limitations of understanding and teachers' ability to implement differentiation. The solution offered is to hold regular training on differentiated learning strategies, as well as facilitate teachers to participate in seminars or learning communities to improve competence in implementing student-centered learning effectively and comprehensively.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain and describe the moral value of the oral tradition of Horse Stone folklore based on Pierce's semiotics in classifying objects based on the classification of symbols, icons, and indices. Pierce's use of semiotics is related to the uses possessed by folklore itself. All types of folklore, whether oral folklore, partly oral folklore or non-oral folklore, have uses or functions that are very important for human life. This makes folklore in life can describe the way a person involves himself in the midst of community life. The method used qualitative method with a semiotic approach, because the results of data that have been generated and collected on the Horse Stone folklore will be described in the form of written data. Finally, the results of data processing are used as a proposal for literature teaching materials in high school based on the Independent Curriculum in the form of modules. Learning folklore or folklore has a very important role in efforts to preserve noble values and local cultural wisdom. In education, folklore can be used as a learning medium and can be used as learning material for students. The use of folklore as an educational medium can be utilized in various disciplines, which of course the selection of folklore used must be right with the subject matter to be delivered. The use of folklore as an educational medium also acts as one step in preserving existing local culture. Therefore, getting used to delivering lessons through teaching materials is an effort to preserve folklore as part of culture, both protection, utilization and development of folklore in the future. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh dan mendeskripsikan nilai moral dari tradisi lisan folklor Batu Kuda ini berdasarkan semiotik Pierce dalam penggolongan objek berdasarkan klasifikasi simbol, ikon, dan indeks. Penggunaan semiotika Pierce ini berkaitan dengan kegunaan yang dimiliki oleh folklor itu sendiri. Keseluruhan jenis folklor baik folklor lisan, folklor sebagian lisan ataupun folklor non lisan, memiliki kegunaan atau fungsi yang sangat penting bagi kehidupan manusia. Hal tersebut membuat folklor dalam kehidupan itu dapat menggambarkan cara seseorang melibatkan dirinya di tengah-tengah kehidupan masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan semiotik, karena hasil data yang telah dihasilkan dan dikumpulkan pada folklor Batu Kuda akan dideskripsikan dalam bentuk data tertulis. Terakhir hasil pengolahan data dijadikan sebagai usulan bahan ajar sastra di SMA berdasarkan Kurikulum Merdeka berbentuk modul. Pada isi cerita folklor Batu Kuda ini, peneliti mendapatkan 11 hasil analisis data yang menggunakan semiotika Pierce yang pengklasifikasianya berdasarkan objeknya yang di dalamnya terdapat : Ikon adalah tanda yang menyerupai bentuk objek aslinya. Terdapat tiga (3) data dari hasil analisis ikon pada folklor Batu Kuda. Indeks adalah tanda yang berkaitan dengan hal yang bersifat kausal, atau sebab akibat. Terdapat tiga (3) data dari hasil analisis indeks pada folklor Batu Kuda. Dan Simbol adalah tanda yang berkaitan dengan penandanya dan juga petandanya. Terdapat lima (5) data dari hasil analisis simbol pada folklor Batu Kuda. Dengan total keseluruhan data yang diperoleh dalam analisis semiotika pada folklor Batu Kuda yaitu berjumlah sebelas (11) data yang terdiri dari tiga pengkategorisasian.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of tax awareness and tax incentives on tax compliance among MSME actors in Jambi City. The research population consists of all MSME actors in Jambi City, with a sample of 74 respondents selected using the saturation sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple regression analysis with SPSS 27. The results indicate that simultaneously, the variables have a significant effect on tax compliance with a coefficient of determination of 57.5%. Partially, tax awareness has a positive effect on compliance, whereas tax incentives do not have a significant effect. These findings suggest that internal factors such as awareness are more dominant than external stimuli such as incentives in driving tax compliance among MSMEs.

Abstract

This study investigates how the Teams Games Tournament cooperative learning model can improve the learning motivation of fourth grade students in Social Studies at Inpres 1 Birobuli Public Elementary School. The research aims to determine whether combining teamwork, friendly competition, and enjoyable activities can encourage students to participate more actively in the learning process. A quantitative approach with a Quasi Experimental design is applied, where class IVA receives the Teams Games Tournament treatment and class IVB functions as the comparison group. A motivation questionnaire is used to collect data after the learning activities. Before testing the hypothesis, the data are examined through normality and homogeneity tests to ensure statistical requirements are met. The hypothesis is then analyzed using the Paired Sample T Test through SPSS Statistic twenty five. The results show a significance value of zero point zero zero zero, lower than the alpha level of zero point zero five, leading to the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis. These results indicate that the Teams Games Tournament model significantly increases students motivation and creates a more engaging classroom atmosphere.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms and types of code switching and code mixing found in the dialogue of the film Gampang Cuan directed by Rahabi Mandra. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a sociolinguistic approach. The research data are in the form of character speech in the film Gampang Cuan which contains code switching and code mixing events. The data collection technique used is the listening and note-taking technique, while the data analysis technique is carried out through the stages of data reduction, data classification based on the type of code switching and code mixing, and data interpretation according to the context of the speech. The results show that in the film Gampang Cuan 31 code switching data were found consisting of 25 internal code switching between Indonesian and Sundanese and 6 external code switching involving English. In addition, 21 code mixing data were found in the form of words, phrases, and clauses with the dominance of internal code mixing in the form of insertion of Sundanese elements into the structure of the Indonesian language. These findings indicate that the use of code switching and code mixing in the film Gampang Cuan is influenced by factors of the speech situation, the social background of the speaker, and the cultural and environmental context where the interaction occurs. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dan jenis alih kode serta campur kode yang terdapat dalam dialog film Gampang Cuan yang disutradarai oleh Rahabi Mandra. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiolinguistik. Data penelitian berupa tuturan tokoh dalam film Gampang Cuan yang mengandung peristiwa alih kode dan campur kode. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik simak dan catat, sedangkan teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui tahap reduksi data, klasifikasi data berdasarkan jenis alih kode dan campur kode, serta penafsiran data sesuai konteks tuturan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam film Gampang Cuan ditemukan 31 data alih kode yang terdiri atas 25 alih kode internal antara bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Sunda serta 6 alih kode eksternal yang melibatkan bahasa Inggris. Selain itu, ditemukan 21 data campur kode yang berbentuk kata, frasa, dan klausa dengan dominasi campur kode internal berupa penyisipan unsur bahasa Sunda ke dalam struktur bahasa Indonesia. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan alih kode dan campur kode dalam film Gampang Cuan dipengaruhi oleh faktor situasi tutur, latar sosial penutur, serta konteks budaya dan lingkungan tempat terjadinya interaksi.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of Aristotle's Five Canons of Rhetoric in the show "Clash of Champions," produced by Ruangguru. This research used a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data were collected through transcriptions of episodes 1, 10, and 11 of the YouTube show "Clash of Champions," followed by listening and note-taking. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions based on Aristotle's five canons of rhetoric: invention, arrangement, style, memory, and delivery. The results showed that of the 48 speech data analyzed, invention was the most dominant canon with 19 findings, while memory was the least dominant with 5 findings. These findings indicate that the show emphasized participants' ability to develop ideas and convey arguments persuasively rather than memorization or formal mastery of the material. Overall, this study concludes that "Clash of Champions" not only showcases the application of classical rhetoric but also makes a positive contribution as an educational medium that can improve persuasive speaking skills and audience motivation. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan The Five Canons of Rhetoric Aristoteles dalam tayangan Clash of Champions yang diproduksi oleh Ruangguru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitis. Data dikumpulkan melalui transkripsi tayangan YouTube Clash of Champions episode 1, 10, dan 11, dan kemudian dilakukan teknik simak dan catat. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dengan mengacu pada lima kanon retorika Aristoteles yaitu invention, arrangement, style, memory, dan delivery. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 48 data tuturan yang dianalisis, invention merupakan kanon yang paling dominan dengan 19 temuan, sedangkan memory menjadi yang paling sedikit dengan 5 temuan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa tayangan tersebut lebih menekankan pada kemampuan peserta dalam mengembangkan gagasan dan menyampaikan argumen secara persuasif daripada pada aspek penghafalan atau penguasaan materi secara formal. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Clash of Champions tidak hanya menampilkan penerapan retorika klasik, tetapi juga memberikan kontribusi positif sebagai media edukatif yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara persuasif serta motivasi belajar audiens.

Abstract

Education at the elementary school level plays a strategic role in shaping students’ character as a foundation for future personality development. At the elementary school age, children are in a stage of moral and social development that is strongly influenced by the learning environment, daily interactions, and concrete experiences they encounter at school. Therefore, character education in elementary schools needs to be designed not only through cognitive instruction but also through meaningful, contextual learning experiences that engage students’ affective and psychomotor domains. Humanistic values represent a set of values that place human beings at the center of the educational process. The research methodology used in this study is qualitative research with a case study design. This approach is employed to gain an in-depth understanding of how humanistic values are implemented in Tatanén learning activities at Balé Atikan and how these values contribute to strengthening students’ character. Overall, the findings indicate that Tatanén learning at Bale Atikan in SDN 2 Tanjungsari has effectively served as a medium for implementing humanistic values. Through activities such as farming, caring for the environment, working in groups, engaging in reflection, and making meaning of each process involved, students gain authentic learning experiences that reinforce values of empathy, responsibility, independence, care, cooperation, and respect for life.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the paronomasia humor technique in the TikTok content of the @daffaariqqqq account and its relationship to anecdotal text teaching materials in Indonesian language learning in high school. This research method is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of documentation and note-taking. The research data source is a TikTok video of the @daffaariqqqq account containing paronomasia-based humor elements, including polysemy and homonymy. Data were analyzed through data reduction and categorization to identify the forms of paronomasia that emerged. The results show that the paronomasia humor techniques used include word shifts and expansions, the use of figurative and literal language, foreign language influences, absolute homonymy, and partial homonymy. This technique has the potential to be used as anecdotal text teaching materials, helping students understand the double meaning of language, enhancing language creativity, and presenting contextual and relevant humor. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan teknik humor paronomasia dalam konten TikTok akun @daffaariqqqq serta kaitannya dengan bahan ajar teks anekdot pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa dokumentasi dan catat. Sumber data penelitian adalah video TikTok akun @daffaariqqqq yang mengandung unsur humor berbasis paronomasia, meliputi polisemi dan homonimi. Data dianalisis melalui reduksi dan kategorisasi untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk-bentuk paronomasia yang muncul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknik humor paronomasia yang digunakan meliputi pergeseran dan perluasan kata, penggunaan bahasa figuratif dan literal, pengaruh bahasa asing, homonimi absolut, dan homonimi parsial. Teknik ini berpotensi dijadikan bahan ajar teks anekdot, membantu peserta didik memahami makna ganda bahasa, meningkatkan kreativitas berbahasa, serta menghadirkan humor yang kontekstual dan relevan.

Abstract

Tujuan adanya penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sekaligus memahami persepsi siswa kelas XII IPS 1 SMA Mekar Arum terkait pembelajaran sastra khususnya pada pembelajaran sastra novel sejarah dalam mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini ditinjau dari studi kasus siswa kelas XII IPS 1 SMA Mekar Arum Bandung dengan metode penelitian deskripstif kualitatif yang berkaitan dengan aspek pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia terhadap persepsi siswa terhadap tantangan dan solusi dalam pembelajaran sastra novel sejarah di kelas XII IPS 1 SMA Mekar Arum Bandung. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan hasil kuesioner yang dimana peneliti akan mencatat kalimat-kalimat persepsi siswa mengenai kesulitan dalam pembelajaran novel sejarah serta metode yang diterapkan oleh pengajar. Diperoleh hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: 1) kurangnya pemahaman makna dan bahasa yang terdapat dalam novel, 2) konteks sejarah yang rumit, beberapa siswa sulit memahami konteks sejarahnya, karena tanpa pengetahuan yang cukup tentang zaman tersebut, 3) metode pembelajaran yang kurang menarik dan interaktif, 4) sarana dan prasarana yang kurang memadai dalam penunjang pembelajaran novel sejarah.
