Abstract

Abstract: The main task of education in the school system is learning. Improving the quality of school-based education does not occur without improving the quality of learning in schools. The effectiveness of a school in achieving its vision, carrying out its mission, meeting learning goals and targets, as well as in carrying out quality learning activities in a school, requires the existence of a principal who is able to display effective leadership, namely learning leadership. In addition, school principals need to improve their competence as learning leaders on an ongoing basis. The purpose of this activity is to increase the understanding of principals about: Principal leadership, learning leadership, religious leadership, and leadership change in superior schools in a sustainable, independent, and contextual way. The method used in this service activity is training and mentoring. Keywords: moral-based learning leadership, superior principal Abstrak: Tugas utama pendidikan di dalam sistem persekolahan yaitu pembelajaran. Peningkatan mutu pendidikan berbasis sekolah tidak terjadi, tanpa peningkatan mutu pembelajaran di sekolah. Keefektifan suatu sekolah dalam menggapai visi, mengemban misi, memenuhi tujuan dan target pembelajaran, demikian pula dalam menjalankan aktivitas pembelajaran yang bermutu di suatu sekolah, mempersyaratkan adanya seorang kepala sekolah yang mampu menampilkan kepemimpinan yang efektif, yaitu kepemimpinan pembelajaran. Selain itu, kepala sekolah perlu meningkatkan kompetensinya sebagai pemimpin pembelajaran secara berkelanjutan. Tujuan kegiatan ini berupaya meningkatkan pemahaman kepada kepala sekolah tentang: Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, kepemimpinan pembelajaran, kepemimpinan religius, dan kepemimpinan perubahan di sekolah unggul secara berkelanjutan, mandiri, dan kontekstual. Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively review the historical development and current status of research in the field of school improvement using a bibliometric analysis approach. Recognizing the vital role of schools in society and the necessity for their constant evolution, it is essential to understand the breadth and depth of scholarly efforts in school improvement. Using the Scopus index, 596 English language journal articles on school improvement published between 1916 and 2023 were identified and analyzed. Utilizing the VOSviewer software, the bibliometric analysis was conducted in two stages: descriptive statistics to understand the trend of document volumes and co-authorship countries, and a multidimensional scaling technique to visualize co-authorship, co-occurrence, and citation networks. The data revealed a consistent rise in publication volume over the years, with a peak in 2020. Despite contributions from 45 countries, the United States and the United Kingdom were the most prolific. However, author collaboration was found to be minimal, suggesting potential for broader partnerships. The study also identified key research themes such as leadership, distributed leadership, and accountability through keyword co-occurrence analysis. The most frequently cited literature emphasized the role of collaboration, instructional program coherence, and school culture in school improvement. The findings underscore the necessity for increased global collaboration, exploration of emerging themes, and enhanced geographical representation in future research to further enrich the knowledge base in this vital educational field.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted to determine the results of the implementation of clinical supervision in improving the quality of teaching teachers to students. This research was conducted by identifying problems and obstacles faced by teachers during teaching and learning activities, then the principal provided assistance to teachers with a clinical supervision approach. This research was conducted using a literature study method. The problem of teacher professionalism in teaching can be carried out by coaching with the clinical supervision method by the supervisor. Clinical supervision is carried out by observing the learning process by the teacher directly and then discussing the resolution of teaching problems. This study uses a literature study method which then obtains literacy data in the form of factors that affect teacher performance and the clinical supervision process. By reviewing several studies on clinical supervision, it can be seen that the provision of clinical supervision to overcome the obstacles and problems of teachers in teaching is carried out through 3 stages, namely the meeting stage, the observation stage and the feedback stage. By providing feedback by the principal to the teacher in the form of directions and possible solutions, the quality of teacher teaching can increase.Keywords: clinicalisupervision, teacher quality, elementary schoolAbstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan guna mengetahui hasil pelaksanaan supervisi klinis dalam meningkatkan kualitas mengajar guru terhadap peserta didik. penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi masalah dan kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru selama kegiatan belajar mengajar, kemudian kepala sekolah memberikan bantuan kepada guru dengan pendekatan supervisi klinis. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode studi literatur. permasalahan profesionalisme guru dalam mengajar dapat dilakukan pembinaan dengan metode supervisi klinis oleh supervisor. Supervisi klinis dilakukan dengan mengobservasi proses pembelajaran oleh guru secara langsung kemudian mendiskusikan penyelesaian masalah pengajarannya. Kajian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur yang selanjutnya didapat data literasi berupa faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja guru serta proses supervisi klinis. dengan mengkaji beberapa penelitian mengenai Supervisi klinis, dapat diketahui bahwa pemberian supervisi klinis untuk mengatasi kendala dan masalah guru dalam mengajar dilakukan melalui 3 tahapan yakni tahap pertemuan, tahap observasi dan tahap balikan. Dengan memberikan umpan balik oleh kepala sekolah kepada guru berupa arahan dan solusi yang mungkin dapat ditempuh, maka kualitas mengajar guru dapat meningkat.Kata kunci: supervisi klinis, kualitas guru, sekolah dasar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan hubungan antara kepemimpinan pembelajaran kepala sekolah, kompetensi pedagogik guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dan karakter religius-toleran siswa muslim di sekolah multikultural. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif-korelasional. instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket yang disebarkan kepada guru dan siswa pada sampel terpilih. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan, kepemimpinan pembelajaran kepala sekolah berpengaruh terhadap karakter religius-toleran siswa muslim. Secara tidak langsung variabel kepemimpinan pembelajaran tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap karakter religius-toleran siswa muslim melalui variabel kompetensi pedagogik guru PAI.

Abstract

This research comprehensively examined vocational school management and strategies for improving partnerships with DUDI. This research used qualitative research and data collection techniques used observation, documents, and interviews. Data analysis on individual cases with condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification used the N-Vivo tool. The research was at one vocational school in Blitar, Indonesia with informants from stakeholders at the school and industrial partners. The research site succeeded in establishing 14 partnerships recorded in the MoU, including joint activity programs, infrastructure utilization, program financing, and placement of graduates in the world of work. Partnership evaluation was carried out by monitoring the collaboration results, deliberation, adjustments to the MoU, consideration of student needs, and renewal to improve quality and collaboration.

Abstract

Currently, the nation's next generation still has low critical thinking skills, is less creative, and lacks character. This research aims to describe the character strengthening program for Pancasila student profiles, strategies for implementing strengthening character with global diversity and critical reasoning, as well as the impact of implementing strengthening character with global diversity and critical reasoning. This research is included in the type of qualitative research with a case study design. The subjects in this research were the principal, deputy principal, teachers and students. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis method was carried out using theme analysis with components of data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the program strengthens the character profile of Pancasila students with global diversity, namely religious activities, exhibitions and getting students to care about the environment. The critical reasoning character strengthening program is the implementation of learning based on diagnostic assessment, training and socialization. The implementation strategy for strengthening global diversity of character is socialization regarding Pancasila students, as well as providing real examples of example and discipline. Strategies for developing critical reasoning skills in collaboration with various parties, providing class management guidance and guidance, providing extracurricular activities, and implementing problem posing learning models. There are various positive impacts in implementing character strengthening with global diversity and critical reasoning. The latest information in this research could have implications for providing programs or strategies to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the strategies used by school principals to improve teacher performance in the era of educational technology. The research methods employed included interviews and surveys with school principals and teachers in several schools. The findings indicate that effective strategies involve adequate technology training and support. The implications of this research suggest that school principals play a crucial role in facilitating the integration of educational technology in schools.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research with a case study type. The informants of this study were elementary school supervisors who worked as supervisors in elementary schools in North Rahong District, Manggarai Regency, NTT. The results showed that the culture-based supervision approach carried out by supervisors was in the form of lonto leok culture. The lonto leok culture itself is a tradition that is inherent in the Manggarai people by prioritizing substantive values such as deliberation to reach consensus and the establishment of a relationship of trust between leaders and subordinates. Principals and teachers who were additional informants in this study claimed that this approach had an impact on the success of their professional duties as teachersKeywords: Academic Supervision; supervisor; lonto leok culture; Lonto Leok supervision approach.                                                        AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Informan dari penelitian ini adalah para pengawas TK/SD yang bekerja sebagai pengawas di SD Se-Kecamatan Rahong Utara, Kab Manggarai, NTT. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pendekatan supervisi berbasis budaya yang dilakukan oleh pengawas dalam wujud budaya lonto leok. Budaya lonto leok itu sendiri merupakan tradisi yang sudah melekat dalam diri masyarakat Manggarai dengan mengedepankan nilai-nilai subtantif seperti musyawarah untuk mencapai mufakat serta terjadinya hubungan kepercayaan antara pimpinan dan bawahan. Kepala sekolah dan guru-guru yang menjadi informan tambahan dalam penelitian ini mengklaim bahwa pendekatan tersebut memiliki dampak pada keberhasilan tugas keprofesional mereka sebagai guru.Kata Kunci: Supervisi Akademik; Pengawas; budaya lonto leok; pendekatan supervisi lonto leok

Abstract

The management of administrative personnel in a school is a key aspect in determining the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of educational services. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the effective management of school administrative personnel to be implemented, while containing a discussion of: (1) effective management of school administrative management; (2) the process of managing school administrative personnel; (3) efforts to improve administrative services in schools/madrasas. This research uses qualitative methods with literature study techniques through previous studies and literature related to the topic of the research. The results showed that administrative management carried out by administrative staff in schools/madrasas is still not in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of National Education No. 24 of 2008 on School Administrative Staff Standards. For this reason, effective management of school administrative personnel is needed to improve administrative services in schools/madrasas. The effective management of school administrative personnel includes planning, recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, technology in administrative management, and evaluation.

Abstract

The quality of the implementation of Teaching Assistance can be seen from the communication skills and teamwork skills of students after carrying out the activity. The quality of the implementation of Teaching Assistance is good, so students' communication skills improve and the quality of the implementation of Teaching Assistance is good, so teamwork skills increase. The research objectives are: (1) to describe the quality of the implementation of Teaching Assistance; (2) describe the quality of communication skills of students who graduated from Teaching Assistance; (3) describe the quality of teamwork skills of students who graduated from Teaching Assistance; (4) determine the influence of the quality of the implementation of Teaching Assistance on student communication skills; (5) determine the effect of the quality of the implementation of Teaching Assistance on student teamwork skills; (6) determine the effect of the quality of the implementation of Teaching Assistance on students' communication skills and teamwork skills. This research uses quantitative methods which are analyzed using descriptive analysis, simple linear regression analysis, and MANOVA test. The results of this research are (1) the quality of implementation of the Teaching Assistance Program for State University of Malang students is classified as high; (2)the quality of communication skills of students graduating from Teaching Assistance at State University of Malang is classified as high; (3) the quality of teamwork skills of students graduating from Teaching Assistance at State University of Malang is classified as high; (4) there is a significant influence between Teaching Assistance on the communication skills of State University of Malang students; (5) there is a significant influence between Teaching Assistance on the communication skills of State University of Malang students; (6) there is an influence of the Teaching Assistance program on the communication skills and teamwork skills of State University of Malang students.
