This study aimed to determine the differences in students’ interests in physics education at the University of Jambi towards using e-modules in physics-mathematics learning by observing the existence of gender differences. This study used a quantitative research method. The instrument used was student interest questionnaires. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The subjects of the study were 91 physics education students. The results of this study show that there are differences in students’ interests in the use of the physics-mathematical e-module in learning, namely the average student interest in the physics-mathematical e-module which female students best own, namely in class A with an average of 37.94, slightly higher than the average interest of male in class C, which is 35, 20. Differences in interests are caused by internal factors of these students, namely diligent and consistent behavior in learning. Female students are more diligent in studying than male students, so female students have a higher interest in learning than males

This study aims to analyze students' science process skills on specific heat material by reviewing two aspects of basic science process skills indicators (observation and classification), and two indicators of integrated science process skills (identifying variables and making hypotheses). This research uses a descriptive quantitative method. In this study, the sample used was 35 students of physics education of batch 2018 who were randomly selected. The assessment instrument used was the science process skills observation sheet with the skill score used in the form of a Likert scale. The results of the study show that the students' mastery of basic science process skills on the observation indicator is 65% in the good category, 30% in the high category, and 10% in the category of not good to low, whereas, the classification indicators obtained are 54.3% and 37.1% of students have mastered classification skills in both good and high categories. The remaining 8.6% are classified in the not good category. For the mastery of integrated science process skills in the variable identification indicator, 60% of them are in the good category and 14.3% in the high category. The rest are in the category of not good and low. For the indicators of skills in making hypotheses, 65.7% and 14.3% are in the good and high categories. It proves that physics education students have mastery of science process skills that are in the good category.

Some obstacles in teaching and learning activities could be seen in the lack of teaching materials that students could easily understand. This is because the main books used are books in English as a whole. Therefore, the researcher developed an electronic book, namely the e-module of mathematical physics I on partial differential material created using 3D Page Flip Professional application. The type of research used is a comparative type of quantitative research. The population in this study were students of Physics education class 2019 with a sample of 80 regular classes A and B. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The data were analysed by descriptive and inferential statistics using IBM SPSS Statistic 25 application consisting of descriptive test, normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. In the assumption test, the data is normally distributed and homogeneous so that a t-test can be performed. The t-test obtained a sig value of 0,043 for gender differences in class A and 0,010 for gender differences in class B. Therefore, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there are significant (significant) differences in perceptions based on gender in each class A and B. Meanwhile, the perception of female students is higher than the perception of male students, but overall students gave a good perception of the mathematics physics e-module on partial differential material.

This study aims to examine the activeness of student learning towards science subjects in junior high school. The research method used was a mixed research method with an explanatory design. The subjects were students of junior high school amounted to 148 students. The analysis of data using statistical techniques descriptive for quantitative data and analysis Miles Huberman for qualitative data. The results of the five indicators show that students are categorized as having good learning activeness on the indicator "High Curiosity (45,3%)" "Dare to Take Risks (73,7 %) ". "Wanted for New Experiences (55,4 %)". And "Proactive (57,4 %)". Then, students are categorized as having sufficient learning activeness on the indicator "Never Give Up (45,3 %)". The high percentage of the five indicators is supported by the results of interviews stating that students have a high curiosity seen from students who is actively asking questions and also not only rely on the material provided by the teacher, students have dared to make their own decisions and dare to face the problems given by the teacher without fear of being wrong, students are enthusiastic in conducting experiments or experiments because through theoretical experiments can be easier to understand and through experiments learning experiences can be obtained directly, and students are always looking for opportunities to learn and involved in learning activities, and students have a high enthusiasm for learning science but they are not confident in their abilities.

Penelitian dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa pendidikan fisika Universitas Jambi setelah menggunakan penuntun praktikum Fisika Dasar II berbasis Keterampilan Proses Sains ada percobaan suhu dan kalor. Penelitian ini jenis kuantitatif. Penelitian ini mahasiswa yang diikutsertakan yaitu 91 orang. Lembar observasi keterampilan proses sains digunakan mengumpulkan data dan diperkuat dengan wawancara serta dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif. Hasil analisis memperlihatkan jika Keterampilan Proses Sains yang dapat dikuasai mahasiswa yaitu mengukur dan eksperimen. Hasil penelitian diharapkan menjadi pertimbangan bagi program studi fisika untuk melakukan studi terkait untuk mata kuliah praktikum lainnya. The research was conducted to find out the description about science process skill of physics education student of Jambi University on an experiment of temperature and heat. The research is quantitative research with the quasi-experimental method. This research takes 91 students as sample. Observation sheets are used to collect data and reinforced by interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics. The results of the analysis show that SPS that can be mastered by students is measuring and experimenting. The result of the study is expected to be the consideration to program and other faculties at Jambi University and other Universities to conduct related studies. This study aims to find out the differences in perception and interest of physics education students of FKIP Jambi University towards e-module Mathematics Physics reviewed based on gender differences. This research uses a type of quantitative research, namely survey research. The instrument that has been used is the perception questionnaire. Furthermore, the data obtained is analyzed using descriptive statistics, and inferential statistics, namely assumption tests (normality tests and homogeneity tests) and hypothesis tests (one-way ANOVA tests) with Scheffe advanced tests. The female in class B also owns the best physics.

PERCEPTION OF BIOLOGY AND CHEMISTRY TEACHER EDUCATION STUDENTS ON MOBILE LEARNING-BASED BASIC PHYSICS PRACTICUM GUIDEBOOK AbstractGuidebooks are a learning resource that can be used by students. Ease of accessing practical guidebooks can motivate learning for students, so a guidebook through mobile learning is one of the solutions in providing easy access to practical manuals. This study aims to determine student perceptions about the use of mobile physics-based Basic Physic Practicum Guides The research method is quantitative. Using descriptive statistical analysis. In research using random sampling techniques. There are 29 Chemistry Education students and 28 Biology Education students. All respondents will be given a perception questionnaire. Then 10 Chemistry Education students and 10 Biology Education students will be interviewed. The results of the analysis showed the perception of Chemistry Education students about the use of mobile learning-based practicum guides has enough criteria with a percentage of 50%. While the perception of Biology Education students about the use of practicum guides based on mobile learning has Good criteria with a percentage of 58.62%. From the interviews, it was found that 89% agreed with the use of smartphones for academic purposes, with the reason to access educational information, and their use was simple. 100% of students agree that the use of smartphones can help to learn activities wherever and whenever and can provide motivation for students in practical activities. This shows that students of Chemistry Education and Biology Education provide positive perceptions about the use of a Mobile learning-based Basic Physics Practicum Guidebook.AbstrakBuku panduan merupakan sebuah sumber belajar yang dapat digunakan mahasiswa. Kemudahan dalam mengakses buku panduan praktikm dapat memberikan motivasi belajar bagi mahasiswa, jadi buku panduan melalui mobile learning menjadi salah satu solusi dalam memberikan kemudahan dalam melakukan akses pada buku panduan praktikum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa tentang penggunaan panduan praktikum Fisika Dasar berbasis mobile learning. Dengan metode penelitian yaitu metode kuantitatif. Menggunakan analisis statistic deskriptif. Pada penelitian menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel random. Berjumlah 29 orang mahasiswa Pendidikan Kimia dan 28 orang mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi. Seluruh responden akan diberikan angket persepsi. Kemudian 10 mahasiswa Pendidikan Kimia dan 10 orang mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi akan dilakukan wawancara. Hasil analisis menunjukkan persepsi mahasiswa Pendidikan Kimia terhadap penggunaan panduan praktikum berbasis mobile learning memiliki kriteria yang cukup baik dengan persentase 50%. Sedangkan persepsi mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi tentang penggunaan panduan praktikum berbasis mobile learning memiliki kriteria Baik dengan persentase 58,62%. Dari hasil wawancara didapatkan 89% setuju dengan penggunaan smartphone untuk tujuan akademik, dengan alasan untuk mengakses informasi yang bersifat edukatif, dan penggunaannya simple. 100% mahasiswa setuju bahwa penggunaan smartphone dapat membantu kegiatan belajar dimana dan kapanpun serta mampu memberikan motivasi bagi mahasiswa dalam kegiatan praktikum. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa Pendidikan Kimia dan Pendidikan Biologi memberikan persepsi yang positif tentang penggunaan buku panduan praktikum Fisika Dasar berbasis mobile learning.

PENGEMBANGAN PENUNTUN PRAKTIKUM FISIKA BERBASIS KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PROBLEM SOLVING AbstractBased on the results of several studies on the analysis of early skills of new students science process of 2016/2017 shows that students' skills in practicing practicum are low. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a science-based Skills Processing Guide and use model one of the problem-solving. The purpose of this research is to know the result of the development of Physics Basic I Basic Pharmacist I guide using problem-solving on friction material and to know the student response to the guidance developed. This type of research is research development with Borg and Gall model. Research stages include preliminary studies, product design, validation results, and trial results. The subjects of this research trial are Physics education students who have contracted Basic Physics course I. The instrument used is an expert validation sheet and a response questionnaire. The technique of data analysis from validator conducted by descriptive qualitative. While the response questionnaire scores were done descriptively. Expert validation results state that the materials have been in accordance with the Semester Learning Plan (RPS) and the activities in the practical guide have been in accordance with the problem solving and skills-based steps of the scientific process. The response test results obtained on average is 3.1 (good).AbstrakBerdasarkan hasil dari beberapa penelitian mengenai analisis kemampuan awal keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa baru tahun 2016/2017 menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan mahasiswa dalam melaksanakan praktikum tergolong rendah. Oleh karena itu diperlukan pengembangan penuntun berbasis Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) dan menggunakan model salah satunya problem solving. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil pengembangan penuntun praktikum Fisika Dasar I berbasis KPS dengan menggunakan problem solving pada materi gesekan dan untuk mengetahui respon mahasiswa terhadap penuntun yang dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model Borg and Gall. Tahapan penelitian meliputi studi pendahuluan, desain produk, hasil validasi, dan hasil uji coba. Subjek uji coba penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa pendidikan Fisika yang telah mengontrak mata kuliah Fisika Dasar I. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi ahli dan angket respon. Teknik analisis data dari validator yang dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Sedangkan skor angket respon dilakukan secara statistik deskriptif.Hasil validasi ahli menyatakan bahwa materi telah sesuai dengan Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS) dan kegiatan dalam penuntun praktikum telah sesuai dengan langkah-langkah problem solving dan berbasis keterampilan proses sains. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni untuk mendeskripsikan, (1) langkah sistem penjaminan mutu internal sekolah, (2) strategi implementasi penjaminan mutu internal sekolah, dan (3) dampak implementasi sistem penjaminan mutu internal sekolah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan rancangan penelitian studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Plus Al-Kautsar Malang dengan melibatkan Kepala Sekolah sebagai key informan dan informan tambahan yakni guru. Penelitian ini dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini yakni, (1) langkah penjaminan mutu internal sekolah melaui SPMI dalam penjaminan mutu internal sekolah melalui langkah Plan, Do, Check, dan Act. (2) strategi sekolah dalam peningkatan mutu sekolah yang unggul secara internal dilakukan upaya berupa, pengembangan silabus, penentuan kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM), penentuan Standar Kelulusan (SKL), Supervisi Pembelajaran, serta evaluasi pembelajaran, dan (3) dampak implementasi penjaminan mutu internal yang dilaksanakan SD Plus Al-Kautsar Kota Malang yakni, prestasi sekolah telah diraih baik yang berskala nasional maupun internasional serta citra sekolah yang meningkat.
