Abstract

The Alibaba Group has become a global e-commerce powerhouse with a diverse and extensive business portfolio. As Alibaba expands its reach internationally, the company will encounter diverse cultures, social norms, and business practices. Therefore, a well-structured organizational framework is needed, along with conducting analyses using Hofstede and Trompenaars frameworks, to help manage challenges in a multicultural company. The research method employed is qualitative data analysis using literature reviews for data collection. The analysis results indicate that Alibaba implements a complex organizational structure. Additionally, analyses based on Hofstede, Trompenaars, and corporate cultural types at Alibaba reveal the prominent influence of Chinese culture. However, Alibaba has successfully integrated diverse values, norms, and cultural practices from various countries where they operate. Alibaba can leverage cultural diversity within the organization as a key driver for innovation, global growth, and competitive advantage in today's increasingly interconnected market.

Abstract

Technological developments have significantly changed the business landscape in recent decades. The digital revolution has been a critical driver of change in how organizations operate and interact with their customers. This study investigates the relationship between Organizational Performance with Digital Organizational Culture, Digital Business, and Digital Organizational Value. Innovations such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and data analytics have enabled organizations to improve operational efficiency, expand market reach, and create better customer experiences. However, success in adopting new technologies depends not only on infrastructure and systems but also on an organizational culture that supports innovation and change. This type of research is quantitative with a purposive sampling technique distributed through questionnaires to 242 respondents of private elementary school employees in Batam City. The results of data analysis were carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. The results showed that Digital Organizational Culture, Business Digitalization, and Digital Organizational Value significantly affect Organizational Performance. By exploring these aspects, it is hoped that this research can provide valuable insights for organizational members and leaders in managing their digital transformation. Abstract

The rapid development of the digital era has led to intense competition between MSME’s. This encourages every business actor to innovate an new item or service to attract the attention of consumers. Business actors must be able to carry out marketing strategies on social media. The method used by researches is qualitative data, examining data directly from the source according to the circumstances that occur in the object of research. The marketing strategy applied to Batam Indo Keramik, namely direct marketing, digital marketing, promotions for wholesale purchases and provide same-day delivery facility. The form of implementation of digital marketing that is applied is in the form of WhatsApp Business, Linktree and Mailchimp with the aim to help expand market share business.

Abstract

With organizational commitment as mediating variable, the objective of this study is toexamine and evaluate the impact of public service motivation and transformational leadershipon organizational performance. Respondents from the public sector of Maritime Affairs andFisheries Service Branches dispersed around the Riau Island Province Region make up thisquantitative research technique with data processing using Smart PLS. Completing aquestionnaire sent via Google form was the main method of gathering primary data for thisproject. According to the study's results, transformational leadership has a significantinfluence, but Public service motivation has little impact on organizational performance.Organisational commitment is essential for mediating the relationship betweentransformational leadership and organizational performance, as well as public servicemotivation and organizational success.

Abstract

McDonald's has had a huge impact on pop culture and fast food around the world. This company continues to adapt to changes in food trends and consumer demands and is committed to providing consistent and quality fast food. Implementing good management integration and good organizational structure must be prioritized by Mc Donald's. Several aspects illustrate Mc Donald's efforts in pursuing this, namely, Training and Education, Waste and Energy Management, Human Resources and Welfare, Commitment to protecting the Environment. The social responsibility aspect is very important for the McDonald's company. This research is aimed at analyzing the work and social culture that occurs at McDonald's, the method used in this research is descriptive data analysis, the conclusion that can be drawn is that McDonald's can ensure that every employee feels valued and has the same opportunity to contribute. This can also create a dynamic and innovative culture.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the business performance of MSMEs in Batam City, focusing on the influence of entrepreneurial orientation, market orientation, and technology orientation, with the role of organizational culture as a mediating factor. The research methodology involves hypothesis testing through a structural equation model, with the research respondents being managers and owners of MSMEs in Batam who have been operating for more than one year. The sample was proportionally selected using purposive sampling, with a total of 260 MSMEs from various sectors in Batam City that met the criteria for analysis. The analysis results show that seven out of eight hypotheses have significant relationships, where entrepreneurial orientation and technology orientation have a positive impact on business performance. However, the hypothesis testing the influence of market orientation on business performance did not show a significant relationship. These findings highlight that in the context of MSMEs in Batam City, entrepreneurial and technology orientation play a more crucial role in enhancing business performance compared to market orientation.

Abstract

Public sector organizations are currently experiencing rapid development and change. As one of the public sector entities, the Riau Islands Provincial Government faces various challenges in realizing its vision and mission. In accordance with the 2021-2026 Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) with the vision of 'Realizing a Prosperous, Competitive and Cultured Riau Islands', one of whose missions is to Implement Clean, Open and Service-Oriented Governance. Various challenges in achieving this vision require serious attention, especially in the aspects of Transformational Leadership and management control systems applied to all OPDs in the Riau Islands Province. The purpose of this study is to see the effect of Transformational Leadership and management control systems on Organizational Performance with Organizational culture as an intervening variable. This type of research is Quantitative. The number of samples in this study was 318 respondents in the OPD of the Riau Islands Province. The researcher used the help of the SMART PLS software program, with an approach in modeling using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis. The results of this study all research hypotheses were accepted and Organizational Culture was an intervening variable between Transformational Leadership on Organizational Performance and Management Control System on Organizational Performance.

Abstract

Employee performance is an important element that affects how effective and successful an organization is, especially in the government sector. This study emphasizes the significance of leadership in enhancing employee performance with organizational commitment as a factor influencing this relationship. Effective leadership may establish a clear goal, foster trust, and enhance staff morale. Respondents in this quantitative study were ASN in the Riau Islands Provincial Government, with data processing using Smart PLS. Filling out questionnaires sent via Google Form is the main method of primary data collection in this study. The results of the study indicate that Transformational Leadership and Servant Leadership have a positive and significant effect on Organizational Commitment, Organizational Commitment and Transformational Leadership have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while Servant Leadership does not affect Employee Performance. The relationship between transformational leadership and employee performance, as well as between servant leadership and employee performance, is significantly mediated by organizational commitment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of good Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Green Human Resources Management in the Sharp Electronics company. The main focus of the research is to understand how Sharp Electronics integrates corporate social responsibility and sustainable human resource management to achieve sustainable and environmentally friendly business practices. The results showed that Sharp Electronics has shown a strong commitment to social and environmental aspects through various CSR initiatives. Sharp Electronics' success in implementing CSR and GHRM has had a positive impact on the company's image, increased employee engagement, and created long-term business sustainability. As such, this research provides an in-depth insight into the CSR and GHRM practices at Sharp Electronics, which can provide inspiration and learning for other companies in their efforts towards better sustainability and social responsibility.

Abstract

In this era, technological advances benefit many aspects of work, including Human Resources Management (HRM). Implementing E-HRM helps organizations improve efficiency, reduce paper waste, and support sustainability principles. The study aims to examine the impact of E-HRM on Sustainability Performance, mediated by Labour Productivity and moderated by Organizational Agility. The research was conducted on MSMEs in Batam City, using a purposive sampling technique to obtain primary data from 200 respondents by distributing G-From questionnaires. The quantitative analysis method used is SmartPLS software. The research results of the hypothesis that shows a direct and significant positive effect on Sustainability Performance is Labor Productivity. Meanwhile, E-HRM implementation has a positive, not significant, effect on Sustainability Performance but has a positive, significant impact on Labour Productivity. The proven indirect research hypothesis is the relationship between E-HRM implementation and Sustainability Performance mediated by Labor Productivity. The theory that E-HRM implementation significantly positively affects Labour Productivity through moderation of organizational agility has yet to be proven. This research is expected to cover a broader range of research and can be used as a reference for other studies.
