Abstract

This study aimed to explore the problems in learning interactive art and culture at Junior High School level which was categorized as the millennial generation. The focus of this study laid in the interdisciplinary aspect of social media in multimodality of learning arts and culture. In order to reveal the opportunities and challenges of the use of social media in its development as a medium in interactive art and culture learning, as well as the students’ responses about it. This study used qualitative-analytic method. Data were obtained from observation conducted from January to June 2020 at junior high schools in Surabaya, East Java. The results showed that the learning involvement experienced by students had complexity and multimodality, including collaborative work, observing, and evaluating each other's work, and involvement in finding, identifying, and exploring trends related to delivery in social media as a medium for art and culture learning. This implied that this learning involvement was able to motivate students to be more actively involved in learning with a sense of joy; positioning artwork with others on social media; increasing the contextual and conceptual understanding in the learning materials and applying it as a process of actualizing aesthetic skills; and improving critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a teaching material for learning block notation. Based on the results of interviews with several music teachers at private elementary schools in Surabaya, researchers obtained data that there are always students who have difficulty understanding block notation in all private elementary schools that provide block notation material for class students. 1 SD. Therefore, the researcher wants to design a block notation learning material that is interesting and makes it easier for students to understand block notation. The learning design made by the researcher uses the ASSURE model design by paying attention to aspects of child cognitive psychology and color psychology. The results of the design are black block notation images, color block notation images along with hand movements and audio as a unitary block notation teaching material. The results of the design were then tested on grade 1 students at Sampoerna Academy Elementary School and the results showed that 90% of children were interested in the color block notation learning design and it was easier to understand the material.

Abstract

Potehi Puppet is one of the traditional arts in the form of hand puppet performances from China that developed in Java, one of which was in Gudo, Jombang. This article aims to describe the creative process of the Potehi Puppet artist/maker in Gudo, which is correlated with family background and life experiences. The author finds a relationship between difficult life experiences and artistic family background with the artist's creative energy so that he can survive and continue to develop his work in difficult artistic conditions. This explains that difficult life experiences are also needed in creativity in terms of creativity theory and psychology. The method used is descriptive qualitative with interview data collection techniques with three artists/makers of Potehi Puppet in Gudo, namely Toni, Sony, and Samsul. Data analysis uses several main theoretical bases, namely Primadi Tabrani's creativity theory, and Graham Wallas's creativity, and research by Marie J.C. Forgeard is about taking advantage of adversity for increased creativity. This article can inspire artists, especially traditional artists, to take advantage of life's difficulties as a stepping stone to increasing creative energy, endurance, and creativity

Abstract

The background for conducting the training comes from the teachers need in fulfilling the obligation tocompose scientific works for job promotion matters and teachers achievement documentation. Thisactivity is aimed at improving the understanding and the skills of Arts and Culture teachers in composingscientific works and Classroom Action Research through training. Furthermore, it was carried out throughlecture, discussion, task giving and guidance. The results of the questionnaire showed thatthe ability of theparticipants in composing the Classroom Action Research is 92% very good. Also, with regard tocomposing the Classroom Action Researchand scientific works, it was found that based on the aspect ofunderstanding the contents of the materials presented, the ability of the participants reaches 84,6%percentage. Besides, the easinessof generating ideas in writing Classroom Action Research achieves69%, while the ability of developing Classroom Action Research writing well obtains 69%. In addition, theresponse onthe Classroom Action Research aspect supporting the learning process is 61,5%. Meanwhile,opinion on the Classroom Action Research donethat can be applied gets 69% percentage. The averagescore of the participants in writing proposal is 78. In general, the average score is satisfactory, consideringthat there were some participants who previously did not understand aboutClassroom Action Researchbecause their specialty ispure art. Additionally, the percentage of the participants achieving score above70 is 69%, while the rest 30% got 60 and below. It indicates that the trainingonscientific works andClassroom Action Research writing has been successlly run and shown a noticable result.

Abstract

Artwork is part of a culture that is created because of a process related to constructive creativity. This process is often referred as the creative process. The creative process can be viewed from related aspects, influencing elements, or the stages in it. The creative process that will be discussed by researcher is the creative process of a music artists who want to create something new and unique, often referred to as new music or contemporary music. The purpose of this study is to see how the stages of the creative process of contemporer composer Slamet Abdul Sjukur in creating the artwork. The method of this research is a qualitative research with literature studies, interviews and also observations of Slamet's artworks as the research subjects. Slamet is a composer who emphasizes the simple concept of producing something great, a concept known as the minimax concept. From this study, it was found that Slamet Abdul Sjukur is a contemporary composer who involves all stages of the creative process in creating artwork. However, the details of the stages of ideas and the implementation of Slamet's creative process on one artwork are very different from one another. This then makes each of Slamet's artworks have their own uniqueness.

Abstract

Pendidikan bertanggung jawab untuk memadukan, membina dan memupuk dalam mengembangkan bakat dan kemampuan kreatifitas peserta didik. Bagaimana peran guru dalam menumbuhkan kreatifitas anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana media Flash Card untuk menumbuhkan kreatifitas anak dalam pembelajaran seni tari di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Tehnik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini guru melakukan perubahan terkait proses pembelajaran dalam fokus teori pembelajaran behavioristik, metode pembelajaran dan media Flash Card guna menumbuhkembangkan kreatifitas menari anak. Dengan menggunakan teori dari Wallas melalui tahapan persiapan, inkubasi, iluminasi dan verifikasi dapat mengubah anak menjadi pribadi yang aktif dan kreatif. Media Flash Card merupakan hasil inovasi guru dalam mengubah sebuah proses pembelajaran. Media ini dapat memunculkan kreativitas dan ke aktifan anak dalam berekspresi kedalam bentuki sebuah gerakan sehingga anak dapat lebih aktif dan berkreasi dari melihat gambar ke bentuk gerak tarian. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi bahan referensi atau pengembangan untuk penelitian selanjutnya.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk menjelaskan tentang kurikulum mandiri dalam proses pembelajaran. Kurikulum memegang peranan yang sangat penting dalam suatu lembaga pendidikan karena mengacu pada arah, isi dan proses pendidikan yang pada akhirnya dapat menentukan jenis dan kualitas lulusan di lembaga tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kepustakaan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Merdeka Learning bertujuan untuk mengembalikan kompetensi mengajar ke bentuk semula, sebagai waktu yang tepat untuk mewujudkan tujuan Pendidikan Nasional, mengembangkan pendidikan agama, spiritual, pengendalian diri, kepribadian, kecerdasan, akhlak mulia dan akhlak mulia. keterampilan untuk mencapai siswa memulihkan pendidikan.

Abstract

RINGKASANSurabaya dikenal sebagai kota pahlawan. Heri Lentho adalah seniman yang memiliki sebutan “seniman berjiwa kesatria” karena karyanya terkenal dengan tema kepahlawanan dan perjuangan. Hal itu terjadi karena pengaruh masa lalunya yang hidup dalam lingkungan tentara. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji bagaimana latar belakang seniman Heri Lentho dan bagaimana proses kreatifnya dalam pemunculan ide-ide bertemakan kepahlawanan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara langsung, dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa faktor pengaruh lingkungan budaya dan sosial Heri Lentho lah yang membuatnya tumbuh menjadi seniman berjiwa kesatria. Heri Lentho juga sangat aktif dalam bidang berkesenian. Ia tidak hanya menekuni bidang tari saja tetapi juga musik, drama, opera, organisasi dan kumpulan seni.ABSTRACT Heri Lentho Surabaya Artist: Biography and Creative Process. Surabaya is known as the city of heroes. Heri Lentho is an artist who has the title "artist with a chivalrous spirit" because his expertise is known for the themes of heroism and struggle. This happened because of the influence of his past living in the army. The purpose of this research is to examine the background of the artist Heri Lentho and how the creative process in the emergence of ideas with the theme of heroism. This research method uses an approach approach. Data collection techniques using observation, direct interviews,documentation. The results of the study indicate that the influence of the cultural and social environment of Heri Lentho is what makes him grow into an artist with a chivalrous spirit. Heri Lentho is also very active in the arts, not only in dance but also in music, drama, opera, organizations and art collections.

Abstract

Kemajuan pendidikan era 4.0 menjadikan penggunaan teknologi sebagai sarana terpenting dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran terutama pada penggunaan bahan ajar ebook. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana proses pengembangan bahan ajar, mendeskripsikan kualitas pengembangan bahan ajar dan mendeskripsikan keefektifan bahan ajar ebook yang dikembangkan. Prosedur penelitian ini menggunakan Model ADDIE untuk menggambarkan pendekatan secara sistematis dalam pengembangan produk yang di kembangkan berupa bahan ajar ebook interaktif. Validitas ebook di ukur berdasarkan 3 komponen yakni berdasarkan ahli materi, ahli bahasa dan ahli kegrafikaan dengan hasil sangat layak. Kepraktisan ebook berdasarkan keterbacaan dan keefektifan ebook di ukur melalui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa respon peserta didik dan guru sebagai objek uji coba dengan hasil baik. Keefektifan berdasarkan respon dan reaksi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran minimal baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan ebook interaktif menggambar untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa kelas VII SMP yang valid, praktis dan efektif.Kata kunci: pengembangan, ebook interaktif,  kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas mengenai bagamana proses survive para pekerja seni dimasa pandemi dalam merelokasi sebuah pertunjukan seni. Pertunjukan yang semula disajikan secara (offline) kemudian beralih menjadi pertunjukan (online) dalam jaringan. Penelitian ini ditulis untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses kebertahanan para pekerja seni terus berkreasi dengan cara merelokasi pertunjukan dimasa pandemi. Untuk mengupas fenomena ini secara lebih mendalam pada penelitian ini digunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan studi kasus. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui studi literasi, studi lapangan, observasi serta proses wawancara. Berdasarkan penelitian ini kesimpulan yang dapat diambil dari berbagai temuan membuktikan pekerja seni dengan adanya pandemi dihadapkan kepada keadaan yang sulit. Disatu sisi peraturan membuat mereka tidak bisa berkarya, disisi lain mereka harus tetap bekerja untuk memenuhi kebutuhan keseharian keluarga mereka. Jalan keluar yang realistis yang dapat diambil oleh para pekerja seni ialah dengan merelokasi pertujukan seni mereka yang semula offline menjadi berbentuk online untuk tetap memperoleh penghasilan demi memenuhi kebutuhan mereka. Oleh karena itu sebagai kaum akademisi hendaknya juga memperhatikan keadaan para pekerja seni. Ibarat seni adalah sepasang kaki para akademisi seni adalah sebelah sisi kaki dan para pekerja seni ialah sepasang kaki yang bersebelahan, tanpa keduanya melangkah beriringan sebuah seni tidak bisa terpelajari, berarti, dan abadi.
