Abstract

there are many debates among Islamic scholars the exact date and people who bring Islam to Indonesia. This debate happened because there is no valid data to reconstruct the date of coming of Islam. On other side, the meaning of “Islam” differs between one scholar and others, for example; some scholars define it in formal definition as a person who converted Islam. Meanwhile, some of them defined it in sociology term as Islam community or society.There are four opinions about the people who came to introduce Islam to Indonesia. One of them assumed that Islam was brought by India people, the second one from Arab, the third one from Persia, and the last one who thought that Islam came from China.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to describe the leadership of Islamic Religious Education teachers in class VIII of Junior High School (SMPN) 1 Enrekang. It also describe the motivation of students in class VIII SMPN 1 Enrekang. The paper also describe the learning interest of students in class VIII of SMPN 1 Enrekang as well as testing the influence of Islamic Religious Education teacher leadership on the motivation of students in class VIII of SMPN 1 Enrekang. Besides, the research also test the influence of Islamic Religious Education teacher leadership on students' learning interest in class VIII of SMPN 1 Enrekang. Furthermore, it test the influence of Islamic Religious Education teacher leadership on students' motivation and interest in learning in class VIII of SMPN 1 Enrekang. Thus, there is an influence of the leadership of Islamic Religious Education teachers on the learning interest of students in class VIII of SMPN 1 Enrekang.

Abstract

This Research aims to find out the Effect of teacher's Responses in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 on Teacher Performances at SMPN 1 Soppeng Riaja Ward Kiru-Kiru Regency Barru. This research used a quantitative method with a population of teachers at SMPN 1 Soppeng Riaja totaling 37. Data collection used observation, questionnaire and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and inferential analysis used simple regression. The result of descriptive data analysis showed that teacher's responses to industrial revolution 4.0 were in the medium category with 23 respondents with a percentage of 62.2% and teacher performances in the medium category with 21 respondents out of a total of 37 respondents with a percentage of 56.75%. The results of inferential statistical analysis showed the value of = 195.712 > = 2.030. Then, the alternative hypothesis is accepted and is rejected, meaning that there is an effect of the teacher's response to the 4.0 industrial revolution on teacher performance at SMPN 1 Soppeng Riaja , Kiru-Kiru village, Barru district.
