Abstract

The high rate of divorce in Indonesia, including in Ciomas Subdistrict, Bogor Regency, indicates weak family resilience, largely caused by couples’ lack of understanding regarding the essence and purpose of marriage. From an Islamic perspective, marriage is a sacred institution aimed at forming a family that embodies tranquility (sakinnah), affection (mawaddah), and compassion (rahmah), commonly referred to as SAMAWA. Therefore, implementing structured pre-marital counseling is essential. This study aims to examine the role of the Advisory Board for the Development and Preservation of Marriage (BP4) under the Religious Affairs Office (KUA) of Ciomas in providing pre-marital guidance, and to evaluate the effectiveness of the program in preparing prospective spouses to enter a harmonious family life. This research adopts a mixed methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative techniques. Data collection involved semi-structured interviews with BP4 officers, direct observation of counseling sessions, document analysis, and the distribution of pre-test and post-test questionnaires to 51 respondents (102 prospective brides and grooms). The findings show that BP4 actively delivers guidance materials encompassing psychological, social, and religious aspects. The comparison of pre-test and post-test data indicates a significant improvement in participants’ readiness for marriage. However, the program still faces several challenges, including low participant attendance, limited human and material resources, and the absence of effective post-guidance follow-up. Therefore, strengthening and optimizing the implementation of pre-marital counseling is necessary to ensure BP4 can fulfill its role effectively in preventing divorce and fostering SAMAWA families. Abstract

Intensifying competition among UMKM (micro, small, and medium enterprises) and changing consumer behavior that demands high product quality and more ethical marketing approaches, including through digital media such as WhatsApp, require UMKM to maintain product quality while implementing marketing strategies grounded in Islamic values in order to build trust and enhance customer satisfaction. This study aimed to analyze the effect of product quality and Islamic marketing via WhatsApp on customer satisfaction of UMKM Kerupuk Ibu Tarsih in Bogor City, both partially and simultaneously. A quantitative survey design was employed, involving 61 respondents selected through incidental sampling. Data were collected using a standardized questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, and were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the aid of SPSS. The results show that product quality has a significant effect on customer satisfaction, and that Islamic marketing via WhatsApp likewise makes a significant contribution to increasing satisfaction. Simultaneously, the two variables exert a strong influence, with a coefficient of determination of 0.763, indicating that 76.3% of the variance in customer satisfaction is explained by product quality and Islamic marketing via WhatsApp. These findings affirm that the combination of consistent product quality and Islamic value–based marketing communication through digital platforms is effective in building customer satisfaction and potential loyalty. The study recommends that UMKM actors consistently improve product quality and optimize Islamic marketing practices in digital media, and suggests further research to incorporate additional variables such as price and service quality as well as to extend the scope of inquiry to other UMKM contexts.

Abstract

This study examines the practice of child marriage from the perspective of maqasid sharia. It analyzes it against the provisions of Law No. 16 of 2019 concerning Amendments to Law No. 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage in Indonesia. The main focus of this study is to review the extent to which the minimum age limit for marriage in the law aligns with the objectives of Islamic law, particularly in the context of hifz al-nasl (protecting offspring). In maqasid sharia, marriage is not only seen from the legal aspect of age, but also from the perspective of physical and psychological readiness and moral responsibility that support the realization of a healthy and beneficial family. This study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing a library research method to analyze classical sources in Islamic literature, the opinions of scholars, and applicable laws and regulations in Indonesia. The results show that although Islamic law does not explicitly stipulate an age limit, maqasid sharia encourages the protection of children and offspring by emphasizing the importance of readiness (al-ba'ah) before marriage. Meanwhile, Law No. 16 of 2019 sets the minimum age for marriage as a preventive measure against the negative impacts of early marriage, which is in line with the spirit of maqasid syari'ah in protecting one's nasab. It is hoped that this study can contribute to strengthening the understanding of the harmonization between Islamic law and Indonesian positive law and become a basis for thinking in formulating legal policies that support child protection and the sustainability of future generations.

Abstract

Abstracts: This study aims to analyze the practice of imposing fines for late payment of Educational Development Contributions (SPP) at MTS Daarul Muhajirin Bogor from the perspective of Islamic economic law. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with a juridical-normative approach and field studies. The results of the study indicate that the imposition of fines is carried out to provide a deterrent effect on students who delay payment, especially those who have financial capabilities. From the perspective of Islamic economic law, this practice is still a matter of debate. Some scholars allow the imposition of fines in the context of ta'zir, while others reject it on the grounds that it is not in accordance with the principle of justice and has the potential to contain elements of usury. However, the practice of fines can be justified if there is a written agreement between the school and the guardian, and the fine funds are used for social interests, not institutional profit. Keywords: Restorative Justice, Child Crime Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis praktik pemberlakuan denda atas keterlambatan pembayaran Sumbangan Pembinaan Pendidikan (SPP) di MTS Daarul Muhajirin Bogor dalam perspektif hukum ekonomi syariah.

Abstract

This study analyzes the relevance of Sharia business ethics to umrah service standards in Indonesia and its integration in improving service quality. The approach is qualitative, using library research methods, drawing on the Qur'an, Hadith, academic literature, and government regulations. The analysis was carried out in a descriptive-analytical method using content analysis (content analysis). The results showed that the principles of amanah, siddiq, tabligh, and fathanah are very relevant to the standard of umrah services. Amanah ensures fund management and the certainty of departure; Siddiq ensures transparency in costs and facilities; Tabligh supports the communication and education of pilgrims; and Fathanah improves service professionalism. The integration of these principles strengthens formal regulation and establishes a conceptual model of fair, transparent, and quality service. The main challenges include profit orientation, price competition, and moral hazard risk. The implementation of Sharia ethics is key to improving PPIU's professionalism, protecting worshipers, and maintaining the blessings of worship.

The results show a significant improvement in students’ reading ability following the implementation of the sorogan method. In the pre-cycle stage, only 12.5% of students reached the minimum competence criteria (MCC) in Qur'an reading.
