Abstract

spiritual development at the Class II A Purwokerto Penitentiary by taking a sample of 87 respondents by spreading questionnaires at random. The analysis of this study using IBM SPSS Statistics 21 was conducted against conformity variables (x) and inmate behavior variables (y). From the results of calculations that the t test (signification) is obtained the result that the value of t calculates >t table (4.211 > 2,007) with a signification ratio of 0.000<0.05 or in other words that H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected. The results showed the percentage of influence given by conformity variables to the behavior of inmates conducted a determination test where in the test obtained the number R square of 0.524.This shows the magnitude of the influence caused by variable conformity as a free variable has an effect of 52.4% on the variable Behavior of Prisoners as bound variables, the remaining 47.6% is another factor that is not studied by researchers. So it can be concluded that there is a positive and very significant relationship between conformity to the behavior of inmates in Lapas Class II A Purwokerto.

Abstract

Law Number 22 of 2022 concerning Corrections regulates the right to health services and consumption in correctional institutions, including in Article 7. This provision provides legal certainty regarding the obligation to provide the best possible services so that correctional goals can be achieved. This research aims to assess the fulfillment of health services for female prisoners and identify the obstacles faced at the Mataram Class III Women's Correctional Institution. This research method involves field studies to observe direct implementation as well as literature studies which include analysis of laws and regulations, documents and related literature. The research results show that overall, the provision of health services for female prisoners is still inadequate and not in accordance with established standards. The main obstacles are the lack of health workers, including general practitioners, and limited health equipment. However, correctional institutions have attempted to provide adequate health services by conducting health checks on sick inmates and holding other health activities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of role stress on organizational commitment among employees at Class IIA Correctional Institution Curup. Role stress in this study is viewed through three main dimensions: role ambiguity, role conflict, and role overload, while organizational commitment is reflected through affective, continuance, and normative commitment. The research is motivated by several workplace conditions such as high workloads, uneven employee distribution, overcrowded inmate populations, and unclear role definitions, which can potentially increase role stress and reduce employee loyalty to the organization. This research uses a quantitative approach through a survey method, where data were collected from employees using questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results show that role stress has a negative influence on organizational commitment. This means that higher levels of role stress tend to reduce employees’ commitment to the organization. These findings emphasize the importance of managing workplace stress through clearer role definitions, fair workload distribution, and stronger organizational support in order to maintain employee loyalty and productivity. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of inclusive leadership on employee engagement at Class IIB Arga Makmur Correctional Institution. Inclusive leadership is viewed as a leadership approach that creates a supportive, participatory work environment and appreciates diversity, thereby encouraging stronger employee involvement in their work. The research uses a quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to employees. The collected data were analyzed using simple linear regression with the assistance of IBM SPSS. The findings indicate that inclusive leadership has a positive and significant influence on employee engagement. Leaders who adopt an inclusive leadership style are able to build a more open and supportive work atmosphere, which encourages employees to feel valued, actively participate, and show greater commitment to their work. Therefore, the implementation of inclusive leadership practices can be an effective strategy for increasing employee engagement within the organization. Abstract

This study analyzes vocational training strategies as an effort to empower inmates at the Class IIA Pekanbaru Correctional Institution and identifies the factors that support and hinder their implementation. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed thematically. The study applies the Management by Objectives (MBO) and Empowerment Theory frameworks to understand how empowerment strategies are carried out. The findings show that the empowerment strategy is participatory and humanistic, where inmates are involved in training based on their interests, such as animal husbandry, agriculture, and barista skills. The training combines theory and practice, emphasizes independence, and builds trust in inmates to develop their abilities. This approach helps inmates gain useful skills and prepares them for reintegration into society. However, the program still faces several obstacles, making it necessary to strengthen collaboration among stakeholders. With better cooperation and support, the institution can optimize the potential of inmates most of whom are of productive age and support the realization of independent and socially reintegrated individuals in line with correctional system goals. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of gratitude on the subjective well-being of employees at the Class IIB State Detention Center in Pacitan. Using a quantitative survey approach, data were collected from all employees through validated and reliable measurement scales, and analyzed using simple regression techniques. The findings indicate that gratitude has a positive influence on employees’ subjective well-being. Employees who demonstrate higher levels of gratitude tend to experience greater happiness, life satisfaction, and overall psychological well-being. This suggests that positive emotional attitudes play an important role in supporting mental health within the correctional work environment. In conclusion, fostering gratitude among employees can contribute to improved well-being and a more positive organizational climate. Therefore, it is recommended that detention centers implement mental development programs that encourage the practice of gratitude as part of efforts to enhance employee welfare and performance. Abstract

The development of self-reliance is of utmost importance for inmates within the prison environment. Furthermore, it serves to instill awareness in inmates, preventing them from repeating their transgressions and violations of the law, and aiding their reintegration into society upon their release by utilizing life skills acquired while in prison. The research method employed in this study is of a qualitative nature. The self-reliance development program for creating life skills among inmates at Class IIA Purwokerto Prison includes collaborating with Vocational Training Center (BLK) officers, the Department of Fisheries and Animal Husbandry, as well as the Department of Agriculture and Food Resilience. These parties provide specialized training materials in their respective fields. The training materials offered to inmates encompass topics such as agribusiness, animal husbandry, and barbershop skills. The hindering factors that make this process challenging and less effective are primarily rooted in the individual motivations of the inmates, as they may lack the drive to fully engage in the self-reliance development program.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the impact of training and development on the level of employee competence at Class IIA Narcotics Penitentiary in Yogyakarta. The enhancement of employee competence in this penitentiary is facilitated through training programs covering various technical fields. Each employee has the right to participate in and receive structured training. Data was collected using a questionnaire, and data analysis was conducted through simple linear regression analysis. The research results indicate that Training and Development have a significant impact on employee competence. The research employed a quantitative approach with random sampling techniques. The research subjects consisted of 30 employees from Class IIA Narcotics Penitentiary in Yogyakarta. Data processing was carried out using the statistical analysis tool IBM SPSS 25, which involved entering and calculating the respondents' assessments of the research instrument distributed.

Abstract

This research was carried out to ascertain and evaluate the impact of transformational leadership on Work engagement in Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA Karawang, This study's methodology is quantitative. The participants in this study are was all employees in Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA Karawang as many as 50 people while 30 persons made up the study's sample. In In this research, a questionnaire used as a method of data collecting. The data collection approach used in this study used a questionnaire. The statistical tests used Validity, reliability, and normality tests were utilized in this investigation Tests, Linear Regression Analysis, Linearity Tests, and Linear Correlation Analysis, as well as IBM was used to process data for this investigation SPSS statistical software program Version 23, The outcome of this research prove the intensity of work engagement is influenced by transformational leadership Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Class IIA Karawang is 99% whereas other factors affect the remaining components
