Abstract

The implementation of learning is the most important part in improving the quality of education. The Covid-19 pandemic period is part of the challenge for education so that learning continues. The purpose of this study was to investigate in depth the implementation of distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach. The research was conducted at Muhammadiyah Pakel Elementary School. The data sources in this study were teachers, parents, and students. Data collection techniques using structured interviews assisted with guidelines that are structured questions systematically. Data analysis using the Denzin Licoln case study model assisted by atlas.ti software version 8. The technique used to improve the quality of research is source triangulation. The results of this study provide information that in the implementation of the implementation of distance learning there are three factors, namely policy, distance learning process, and human resource activeness. These three factors are novelty which can be recommendations for the three education centers in order to be part of improving the quality of distance learning education during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the management of Javanese learning strategies in improving student skills during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is qualitative. The data source is high school students. Data collection techniques using participatory observation. This research procedure uses the Stake model. The results of this study provide information related to strategies that need to be carried out by teachers in Javanese language learning, starting from plan, strategy, practice, and evaluation. Each component has novelties and different findings in the context of Javanese language learning during the Covi-19 pandemic. This research is recommended for all teachers to be able to understand the strategies needed in the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic and remotely so that student skills can improve and good learning outcomes.

Abstract

Memperhatikan kondisi alam dan perkembangan era yang tidak signifikan perubahannya berdampak pada aktivitas siswa. Begitu juga dampak pandemi covid-19 yang masih dirasakan oleh sebagian besar siswa yang mengikuti distance learning. Permasalahan yang muncul adalah banyaknya gangguan yang dihadapi oleh para siswa di luar jadwal sekolah sehingga siswa membutuhkan self-management yang baik. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk dapat meningkatkan self-management siswa melalui pendampingan dalam penyusunan goal setting dan time management. Metode pemecahan yang dilakukan dengan cara memberikan materi, praktik penyusunan, dan pendampingan siswa. Hasil temuan saintifik pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah terkait dua komponen yaitu goal setting dan time management. Goal setting siswa terdiri dari empat komponen yaitu behavior, spirit, commtiment, dan progress. Sedangkan time management meliputi to do list, prioritize, dan self-evaluation. Simpulan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah pentingnya pemahaman siswa terkait temuan tersebut sehingga dapat dipraktikkan kedalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan kemampuan diri dalam mencapi prestasi belajar.

Abstract

Since the Covid-19 pandemic was declared by the world health organization (WHO) as a global disease, all sectors of life have implemented health protocols, including the education sector. If the distance learning policy is carried out in the long term, it is feared that it will negatively impact. Impact on children, among others; students drop out, achievement decline, violence against vulnerable children occurs, student discipline decreases, and learning motivation decreases. The empowerment of school counselors is one of the solutions to various student problems during the pandemic. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques using observation and interviews. The research procedure uses the Miles & Huberman model. Data analysis was carried out using Atlas.ti software version 8. The results of this study indicate that there are eight roles of school counselors in improving student learning achievement during the pandemic. The roles of school counselors include; acting as a consultant, maximizing online tutoring, communication, flexibility in receiving and providing guidance, creating comfort, solving student problems, developing achievement, motivating, and building creativity. This role is carried out as an effort by the School Counselor so that students can maintain learning achievement and remain productive during a pandemic.Keywords: pandemic; the role of school counselor; achievement; students Sejak pandemi Covid-19 dinyatakan oleh organisasi kesehatan dunia (WHO) sebagai penyakit global, semua sektor kehidupan menerapkan protokol kesehatan termasuk sektor pendidikan. Jika kebijakan pembelajaran jarak jauh dilakukan dalam jangka waktu yang panjang dikhawatirkan dapat berdampak negatif. Dampak pada anak antara lain; siswa putus sekolah, prestasi menurun, terjadi kekerasan terhadap anak rentan, kedisiplinan siswa menurun dan motivasi belajar juga menurun. Pemberdayaan Konselor Sekolah menjadi salah satau solusi pada berbagai permasalahan siswa di masa pandemi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara. Prosedur penelitian menggunakan model Miles & Huberman. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan software Atlas.ti versi 8. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada delapan peran konselor sekolah dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa selama masa pandemi. Peran konselor sekolah diantaranya; bertindak sebagai konsultan, memaksimalkan bimbingan online, komunikasi, keluwesan dalam menerima dan memberikan bimbingan, menciptakan kenyamanan, mengatasi masalah siswa, mengembangkan prestasi, memberi motivasi dan membangun kreativitas. Peran ini dilakukan sebagai upaya dari Konselor Sekolah agar siswa dapat mempertahankan prestasi belajar dan tetap produktif di tengah pandemi.Kata kunci: pandemi; peran konselor sekolah; prestasi; siswa

Abstract

Abstract The COVID-19 pandemic has caused school closures in almost all parts of Indonesia and schools carry out distance learning activities or PJJ. From the PJJ process, it was found that the obstacles faced were students, teachers and parents. The role of counseling guidance during the pandemic is needed to assist teachers, students and parents in maintaining their wellbeing during the PJJ process. The aim of this research is to explore the role of special counseling guidance services during the distance learning at SMPIT LHI. This research is a case study conducted at SMPIT LHI with data collection using interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted with BK teachers and the deputy head of student affairs. The researcher used field data analysis techniques with Miles and Huberman models. The validity of the data used triangulation of techniques and sources. The conclusion of the study is that SMPIT LHI provides counseling services to students, teachers, and parents both bravely with various platforms as well as face-to-face and home visits. Keywords: distance learning, wellbeing, counseling services. Abstrak Pandemi covid 19 menyebabkan penutupan sekolah hampir di seluruh wilayah Indonesia dan sekolah melaksanakan aktivitas pembelajaran secara jarak jauh (PJJ). Dari proses PJJ ditemukan kendala yang dihadapi baik itu siswa, guru maupun orang tua. Peran bimbingan konseling di masa pandemi dibutuhkan untuk membantu guru, siswa dan orang tua dalam menjaga kesejahteraan (wellbeing) mereka selama proses PJJ berlangsung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana peran BK dalam pelayanan konseling selama PJJ di SMPIT LHI. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian study kasus yang dilakukan di SMPIT LHI dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan kepada guru BK dan wakil kepala bidang kesiswaan. Analisa data menggunakan teknik analisis data lapangan dengan model Miles dan Huberman. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Kesimpulan penelitian bahwa SMPIT LHI melakukan layanan konseling kepada siswa, guru, maupun orang tua baik secara daring dengan berbagai platform maupun secara tatap muka dan home visit. Kata Kunci: pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ), wellbeing, layanan BK.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the quality of learning materials for automotive productive teacher theory; (2) Preparation and planning of automotive productive teacher learning; (3) Synchronization of theoretical learning with productive teacher practice learning (4) Supervision and follow-up after the evaluation of productive teacher learning. This type of research is an evaluation with a descriptive approach. This research was conducted at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Moyudan. The respondents were students of automotive engineering expertise programs, all automotive productive teachers, and school principals. The evaluation model used is the Goal Oriented Evaluation Model, which is an evaluation which is oriented towards the objectives of the automotive productive teacher learning management program. Data collection techniques by questionnaire, interview, observation, and documentation. The validity of the instrument through the help of a competent panel. The results showed: (1) The quality of automotive productive teacher learning materials in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Moyudan was effective. (2) Preparation and planning of learning of automotive productive teachers in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Moyudan effectively. (3) Synchronization of theoretical learning with learning practices of automotive productive teachers in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Moyudan effectively. (4) Supervision and follow-up after the evaluation of the learning of automotive productive teachers of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Moyudan is effective.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the educational background, the suitability of teacher competence or linearity, and map the professional competence of productive teachers in the vocational school of arts and culture. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The research stages are; collecting information related to teacher educational background, education and training data, and interviews. The research subjects were school principals, administrative heads, and teachers. The evaluation uses the discrepancy model. The research population is principals and productive teachers of the vocational schools of arts and culture. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validation uses source triangulation and collection. Data analysis used descriptive techniques and simple mathematical analysis. The results showed that: (1) The educational background of productive teachers; dance, musical arts, theater arts, and puppetry arts 96,67% in accordance with the legal basis set by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia; (2) The suitability of the competence or linearity of productive teachers according to learning materials in vocational high school; and (3) A map of professional competence for productive teachers; dance, musical arts, theater arts, and puppetry are 30% of teachers in the mastering category and 70% in the very mastered category. Based on passport skills, it is recommended that 8 (26,67%) teachers attend secondary level training, 9 (30%) teachers attend advanced training, and 13 (43,33%) teachers attend advanced level training. The results of the study are recommended for consideration by the relevant agencies in making policies, recruiting, improving the quality of teachers, determining teaching tasks, teaching burdens, and developing teacher coaching models.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the creation of the school climate in Muhammadiyah Elementary School and the role of the Principal in creating this climate. The research method was carried out in a descriptive qualitative manner. Data retrieval is done by observation or observation as well as interviews with students, teachers and parents of students' guardians. The research instrument used in the form of a list of questions and observation sheets. Photo and video documentation is also done as a reinforcement bouquet. The results obtained from this study are the creation of the school climate in Muhammadiyah Elementary School Mantaran colored by the concept of a fun school movement whose main purpose is to instill character and make education more humane humans through program 1) Positive Environment Creation, 2) Character Education, 3) Learning based on project and problem solving, 4) School Conectednes. Based on the results of observations, the level of the type of climate at the Muhammadiyah Elementary School is classified as an open school climate and is a level of conducive climate. The role of the school principal in creating a school climate in Muhammadiyah Elementary School is among others: 1) Changing the teacher's mindset and parents' guardianship towards education that humanizes humans, 2) creating relationships and relationships between people with love and affection, 3) division of delegation of duties , 4) resolving conflicts as soon as possible so as not to disturb the comfort of work, 5) giving motivation (performance rewards, awards, teacher good stars etc.), 6) harmonizing and enriching the work environment and learning by creating positive environments both physical and non-physical, 7) The Cenectedness School program includes GSM networks, Parent Teaching, etc.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui program apa saja yang dapat mewujudkan sumber daya manusia (SDM) unggul era 4.0 dan untuk membuat kerangka konseptual baru dalam manajemen pendidikan yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan era 4.0. Artikel ini ditulis dengan menggunakan metode literature review dengan pendekatan mapping review.  Proses literature review ini dilakukan dengan cara mencari artikel yang relevan, mengevaluasi dengan cara ekstraksi, menganalisis, dan selanjutnya mensintesis. Database yang digunakan dalam pencarian referensi menggunakan JSTOR dan Springer Link. Hasil dari literature review ini adalah bahwa program-program pendidikan yang menunjang adanya revolusi industri 4.0 berkaitan dengan digital transformation pada aspek-aspek manajemen pendidikan. Kerangka konseptual yang dibuat berkaitan dengan aspek manajemen yang meliputi SDM, Kurikulum, Pembelajaran, Pembiayaan, Sarana Prasarana, Humas, dan Kompetensi Lulusan.AbstractThe purpose of this article writing is to find out what programs can realize superior human resources (HR) of 4.0 era and to create a new conceptual framework in education management that can improve the quality of education in the 4.0 era. This article was written using the literature review method with a mapping review approach. The literature review process was carried out by finding relevant articles, evaluating them by extracting, analyzing, and then synthesizing. The database used in searching references was JSTOR and Springer Link. The results of this review literature are that educational programs that support the 4.0 industrial revolution are related to digital transformation in aspects of educational management. The conceptual framework created is related to management aspects which include HR, Curriculum, Learning, Financing, Infrastructure Facilities, Public Relations, and Graduates' Competencies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis 1) payback period (PP), 2) benefit/cost ratio, 3) return on investment (ROI), 4) net present value (NPV), dan 5) internal rate of return (IRR) dalam perspektif pendidikan bagi tenaga kependidikan di Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini adalah Evaluasi dengan model Discrepancy. Instrumen pengumpul data berupa angket yang ditujukan kepada tenaga kependidikan di UNY dengan skala Guttman. Validitas instrumen meliputi validitas logis dan validitas empiris yang dihitung dengan Pearson product moment. Reliabilitasnya dihitung dengan teknik Kuder Richardson (KR20). Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan deskriptif dan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) payback period investasi dalam bentuk pendidikan bagi tenaga kependidikan yang melakukan peningkatan kualifikasi pendidikan tidak melebihi batas waktu yang ditentukan, sehingga invetasi dalam bentuk pendidikan efektif (feasible); 2) benefit/cost ratio investasi dalam pendidikan memberikan manfaat positif bagi tenaga kependidikan; 3) return on investment dalam perspektif pendidikan bagi tenaga kependidikan memiliki nilai positif sehingga investasi dapat dipertimbangkan; 4) net present value yang diperoleh bernilai positif sehingga investasi dalam perspektif pendidikan bagi tenaga kependidikan di Unviersitas Negeri Yogyakarta dapat dikatakan feasible.
