Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic changed management to an unusual way. This has an impact on final year student activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the time management of final students in completing a thesis / scientific paper. The method used in this research is qualitative. The place where the research was carried out was in Yogyakarta where the participants were three final year students who were completing scientific papers and research. The data collection technique was done by interview and observation. The research procedure was carried out by means of Denzin Lincoln. Data analysis was performed using the Atlas.ti software version 8. The results of this study indicate that students in time management to complete the research as a graduation requirement require three things, namely planning, organizing, and implementing. These three management functions certainly have different indicators, where these indicators are the findings of this study. The results of this study were recommended by final year students who were doing research projects as a requirement for graduation. With good time management, it will be easier to do and solve it optimally and optimally.

Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 menjadi perubahan yang signifikan terhadap proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar.  Hal ini berdampak pada orang tua untuk dapat aktif dalam melibatkan diri selama proses pembelajaran anak di rumah yang berlangsung.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemitraan orang tua dan sekolah dalam proses pembelajaran di rumah selama pandemi covid-19.  Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus.  Penelitian dilakukan di SD Muhammadiyah Kadisoka.  Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah guru berjumlah 3 orang.  Teknik pengambilan data dengan menggunakan wawancara terstruktur.  Analisis data menggunakan model studi kasus Miles & Huberman dengan bantuan software Atlas.ti versi 8.  Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat tujuh poin penting dalam kemitraan, yaitu (1) interaksi; (2) motivasi; (3) metode; (4) media; (5) prestasi; (6) pendampingan; (7) sikap; dan (8) komunikasi.

Abstract

Stunting is a health problem that has an impact on children's physical growth, cognitive development and future productivity. The public's lack of understanding about balanced nutrition and proper parenting is one of the factors in the high stunting rate. This research aims to increase public awareness through outreach to the people of Kalisari Hamlet, Margoyoso Village, Salaman District, Magelang Regency. This activity involved the Tidar University 2025 KKN team, Margoyoso Village Midwives, and Posyandu Cadres using interactive socialization and discussion methods. The results of the activity show an increase in public understanding of the importance of preventing stunting from an early age. Continuous education programs are needed to ensure preventive measures are applied consistently to support optimal child growth and development. Stunting adalah masalah kesehatan yang berdampak pada pertumbuhan fisik, perkembangan kognitif, dan produktivitas anak di masa depan. Kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang gizi seimbang dan pola asuh yang tepat menjadi salah satu faktor tingginya angka stunting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat melalui penyuluhan kepada masyarakat Dusun Kalisari, Desa Margoyoso, Kecamatan Salaman, Kabupaten Magelang. Kegiatan ini melibatkan tim KKN Universitas Tidar 2025, Bidan Desa Margoyoso, serta Kader Posyandu dengan metode sosialisasi dan diskusi interaktif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pentingnya pencegahan stunting sejak dini. Program edukasi berkelanjutan diperlukan untuk memastikan langkah pencegahan diterapkan secara konsisten demi mendukung tumbuh kembang anak yang optimal.

Abstract

A brand image is a collection of consumer assumptions about a brand that are formed from various sources. A positive organizational image is a valuable asset because it influences stakeholder perceptions of organizational communications and activities in a variety of ways. The brand image of an educational institution is an important step in achieving the institution's maximum public reputation. An educational institution's overall image is made up of all of its components. The goal of this research was to discover the methods or steps taken by the Islamic Center bin Baz Islamic boarding school in Yogyakarta in developing a branding image in order to increase competitiveness and avoid falling behind other educational institutions. The approach used in this study is qualitative. According to the study's findings, the Bin Baz Islamic Center Islamic Boarding School's Brand Building Strategy involves the following stages: Analyzing the reasons for choosing a brand, Developing branding programs, developing branding activities in accordance with the program, forming a branding team, determining the media used for branding, increasing the role of public relations in branding, and analyzing parents' satisfaction with the results.

Abstract

The principal is the leader as well as the manager in the school. In any situation, the role of the principal is an important step to serve as a reference in developing competency and quality of education. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the role of school principals in improving the quality of education during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach. This research setting was in MIS Babussalam, Nowa. Participants in this study were teachers who teach at MIS Babussalam, Nowa. Data collection techniques using structured interviews by arranging questions into interview guidelines. The research procedure used the Creswell case study approach. Data analysis was carried out with the assistance of the Atlas.ti software version 8. The results of this study indicate that the role of school principals in improving the quality of education during Covid-19 has the findings indicators are having a manner, being a manager, and being able to prioritize teachers and education personnel with HR development. The findings of this study can be recommended to all school principals as part of efforts to become school principals to optimize roles.

Abstract

Online learning is one option in an effort to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus in schools. So that educators are required to be able to prepare media and learning methods in this online learning process. Several factors that influence the achievement of learning competencies include student activity, teacher performance in teaching, learning media, methods used and a conducive learning environment. This study tries to explore and describe the teacher's efforts in increasing student activity in online learning. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research with a case study approach. The results of the study show that there are many obstacles that arise from the online learning process carried out during the covid 19 pandemic, starting from the inactivity of students during the learning process, the availability of facilities and infrastructure both from the educators and students' side, internet networks and the availability of data quotas. All have an effect on the learning process carried out by teachers in online classes. The conclusion of this study is that teachers must try to innovate and be creative at the planning, implementation and evaluation stages of learning with this online form of learning. Teachers must follow and master the development of information technology in order to improvise in choosing the right learning models and methods for their students. The government, in collaboration with schools, must provide assistance related to facilities and infrastructure as well as the implementation of training for teachers in order to increase the capacity of teachers to face the challenges of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The implementation of learning carried out by vocational school teachers during the Covid-19 pandemic has a complexity of problems. This study aims to determine the extent to which the strategies of SMK teachers in carrying out the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques with interview and documentation methods. Data analysis was carried out with the help of Atlas.ti software version 8. The results of this study include 1) before carrying out learning the teacher implements a lesson plan by preparing a syllabus and learning implementation tools; 2) using various kinds of media used in carrying out learning, namely using videos and modules; 3) using technology that supports learning activities by utilizing the google classroom and whatsapp group applications; and 4) using student learning evaluation to determine the extent to which students master the material that has been given.

Abstract

Background: Health science development is currently rapidly changing due to the Covid-19. Changes have taken place not only in terms of scientific development but also in terms of learning methods. Almost all learning methods have shifted into online learning, requiring students to be more active.Objectives: This study aims to determine the level of SDLR among pharmacy students in Indonesia, especially during the pandemic.Methods: The sampling was conducted using an proportional sampling technique based on the distribution of Pharmacy Schools (PTF) in all the provinces in Indonesia. The level of readiness of these pharmacy students was measured using a questionnaire that consisted of four domains. The questions were scored according to the characteristics of the questions (negative or positive).Results: The results of this study showed that 1884 respondents participated in this study. The basic characteristics showed that 89.1% participants were private pharmacy schools and 84.4% of them were female respondents. The mean of each domains of SDLR for self-management, the desire to learn, the emotional competency, and the responsible decision-making was 3.24 ± 2.65, 3.37 ± 2.09, 3.04 ± 1 87, 3.16 ± 2.16, respectively. Based on gender, the difference of mean in sub domain was p=0.000 (need for learning), p=0.002 (hope for outcome), and p=0.000 (identifying problem).Conclusion: In conclusion, the Self-Directed Learning Readiness (SDLR) among pharmacy students in Indonesia is quite high during the pandemic with a score above 3 (scale 1-4).

Abstract

Pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran yang ada di sebuah sekolah juga akan efektif dan efisien apabila dapat didukung oleh sumber daya manusia yang professional. Sebaliknya, apabila sumber daya manusia yang ada tidak berfungsi sebagaimana mestinya, maka efektivitas dan efisiensi dari pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran tersebut juga akan kurang optimal. Harus ada keseimbangan antara komponen -komponen di dalam pengelolaan yang benar - benar mengerti dan memahami prinsip-prinsip dalam pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran untuk dapat mencapai tujuan dari pendidikan nasional. Khusus untuk jenjang SMK, terkait pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana sangat spesifik dengan karakteristik jurusan dan peminatan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pembelajaran khususnya praktik di SMK saat ini harus mampu membekali siswa, yaitu menyiapkan siswa untuk bekerja, menjadi karyawan, dan menjadi wirausahawan. Proses pemberian bekal dirasa perlu adanya keselarasannya dengan dunia kerja khususnya terkait budaya kerja. Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap pembiasaan penerapan budaya kerja di SMK sangat banyak, tetapi budaya kerja 5K harus segera ditanggapi. Budaya kerja 5K berasal dari Seiri (Ketelitian), Seiton (Kerapian), Seiso (Kebersihan), Seiketsu (Kesegaran), dan Shitsuke (Kedisiplinan) (Takashi Osada, 1995). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan budaya kerja 5K di pembelajaran praktik khususnya di bengkel Teknik Kendaraan Ringan SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara terstruktur. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli 2023 dengan partisipan berasal dari guru mata pelajaran, kepala bengkel, ketua Bursa Kerja Khusus, dan Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Hubungan Masyarakat dan Industri. Dari data hasil wawancara yang didapatkan oleh peneliti bahwa penerapan budaya kerja 5K di pembelajaran praktik belum sepenuhnya terlaksana dengan baik dan masih diperlukan upaya peningkatan. Upaya tersebut terkait bentuk penerapan, pemahaman tentang budaya kerja 5K melalui materi ajar, metode penerapan, pelaku atau subyek pelaksana, dan upaya-upaya penerapan yang bukan hanya di pembelajaran praktik namun di kehidupan sehari-hari baik di sekolah maupun di rumah.
