Abstract

Desa Lawang Agung adalah salah satu desa yang terletak di Kabupaten Seluma Provinsi Bengkulu. Desa ini memiliki potensi sumber daya yang baik, diantaranya di bidang perkebunan kelapa sawit. Salah satu permasalahan lingkungan yang dialami oleh Desa Lawang Agung adalah belum adanya sistem pengelolaan sampah yang baik. Telah dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan hasil samping kelapa sawit berupa jamur sawit menjadi produk pangan bernilai tinggi dan pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga menjadi pupuk organik dan eco enzyme yang memiliki manfaat serta nilai ekonomi yang tinggi. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode sosialisasi, penyuluhan, pelatihan dan praktik langsung di lapangan. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan teknologi pengolahan jamur menjadi dimsum, yang diikuti oleh pelatihan manajemen operasional dan pelatihan digital marketing dapat menjadi stimulan pertumbuhan ekonomi bagi masyarakat Desa Lawang Agung. Hasil penyuluhan serta pelatihan instalasi dan teknologi pengolahan sampah menjadi organik dan eco enzyme dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sebagai pupuk, karbol, pembersih alami, sabun cair alami, penjernih udara alami, penjernih air alami, hand sanitizer alami dan pestisida alami.

Abstract

Nowadays many limitations in the society of Sawah Lebar Baru inspire further development to use their yards and sludge around them in area. This development program can be used to fulfill the horticulture needs of people in that area which is done by planting vegetables in their own yards in order to increase family income. The output of this development program is to increase housewives’ knowledge and skills about the use of sludge as growing medium in the polybags. The socialization and training methods are used in this program. Socialization is done by using personal approach and group approach methods. Training is done to inform about preparation, growing medium filling, and planting vegetables in the polybags. As the effort to maximize the use of yards and increase family income, it is still needed to develop knowledge and skills about the use of sludge as the vegetables growing medium. The role of change agent and communiy services still needed to be increased.Keywords: development, community services, backyard. sludge

Abstract

Consequences that arise as population growth and negative paradigm about fecal waste become one of unhealthy residential factors. However, if managed properly and correctly it can improve the welfare of the community. The management of biotic waste (biotin) into biotic and biococopit variations can be used to optimize the utilization of waste management. The management of this activity aims to cultivate environmental awareness, self-sufficiency of food and medicine, and optimization of narrow land use. The results to be achieved in this activity is community empowerment urban village Berkas is to improve the ability and skills of housewives in managing biotin variation as an effort to green the yard, coastal and family medical plants. Socialization is the initial stage of community empowerment. Counseling and training are the methods applied to this activity through personal and group approaches. Socialization is done by introducing variation of planting medium, plant type, and crop management. Meanwhile, the training that was carried out was planting, care and crop management. Optimization of narrow space utilization by utilizing biotin variation is expected to create a society with self-sufficient conditions of food and medicine. Abstract

Pesantren, one of the containers and education community, is still considered less promising quality of general education for example in the form of appropriate technology and information technology. Technology misuse can indeed endanger the development of students, but if gives direction and carefully supervised by educators, of course technological developments can provide a soft skill that can be used by students after completing education from pesantren. Students in pesantren have a potential to be given material about the introduction of technology in various sciences and basic computer applications. The aim is the students are not surprised by the demands of post-pesantren technology as has been done by providing training on basic computer applications and the use of e-libraries. In addition, appropriate technology in the field of agriculture and fisheries is also transmitted to students to create a fish pond combined with aquaponic vegetation, such as vegetables. KKN program has provided many benefits related to learning and community empowerment. University of Bengkulu (UNIB),the nearest state university of pesantren, implement this KKN-PPM program through students from various disciplines and has been totally implemented in three pesantren and Bengkulu, such as Al-Hasanah, Hidayatullah, and Pancasila.Keywords: students, appropriate technology, pesantren, softskill

Abstract

Lahan perkarangan di Desa Durian Sebatang Kecamatan Kedurang Tepatnya di Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan  sering kali terabaikan dan tidak dimanfaatkan dengan baik oleh warganya. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh dosen bersama mahasiswa bagi masyarakat. Desa Durian Sabatang adalah untuk mengoptimalkan lahan yang kurang produktif dan tidak terurus menjadi bermanfaat bagi warga sekitarnya dengan melakukan penanaman sayuran dengan media polybag.  Bercocok tanam dengan menggunakan media polybag merupakan  tanaman mudah budidaya tidak mengenal musim dan cepat menghasilkan, dan dapat memanen kapan saja, serta memberikan penghasilan tambahan untuk warga.

Abstract

“Petani kebun kopi anorganik tanggung”, mungkin sangat tepat disematkan pada praktik berkebun kopi yang dilakukan oleh petani komunitas Kutei Cawang Ann di wilayah Kecamatan Selupu Rejang dan Kutei Lubuk Kembang di wilayah Kecamatan Curup Utara, Kabupaten Rejang Lebong Provinsi Bengkulu. Jumlah dosis pupuk yang sangat rendah, jauh kurang dari yang seharus­nya diberikan kepada setiap batang tanaman kopi setiap tahunnya, menyebabkan produksi biji kopi yang rendah. Metode dilakukan dengan need assessment dan Agriculture Training. Praktik berkebun campur (dapat disebut sebagai agroforestry tanaman utama kopi organik, pada akhirnya telah menjadi salah satu alternatif salah satu anggota komunitas Kutei Cawang Ann. Input produksi yang rendah memiliki produksi yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan praktik kebun kopi anorganik tanggung. kualitas biji yang dihasilkan dari praktik kebun campur organik juga dihargai lebih tinggi oleh pedagang pengumpul biji kopi setempat. Menemukenali secara partisi­patif proses-proses degradasi lahan kebun kopi yang dikelola komunitas, di samping succes story penerapan tani organik kopi oleh anggota komunitas yang dapat dijadikan rujukan belajar bagi petani lain. Pentingnya pengayaan (enrichment) kebun campur berbasis tanaman utama kopi, pentingnya pem­buatan rorak dan lubang angin/biopori sebagai strategi konservasi lahan kebun kopi, pentingnya pembuatan pupuk organik, herbisida dan pestisida organik serta pengendalian hayati agar produktivitas lahan kebun kopi meningkat secara organik.

Abstract

This study aims to research the potential of secondary crops in Central Java exploitation cluster analysis (non-hierarchical) and maping employing a geographic information system. processing was allotted using SPSS 15.0 and Arcgis 10. 2. The results showed that Sukoharjo, Kudus, Demak, Pekalongan, Pemalang, Tegal, Brebes, Magelang town, Surakarta City, Salatiga City, city City, Pekalongan City, Tegal City had low potential (cluster 3), whereas Cilacap, Banjarnegara, Kebumen, Purworejo, Wonosobo, Boyolali, Wonogiri, Grobogan, Blora, Rembang, Temanggung, High Potential are classified as medium. The regions with high potential for secondary crops are Banyumas, Purbalingga, Magelang, Klaten, Karanganyar, Sragen, Pati, Semarang, Kendal, and Batang.

Abstract

Manfaat tanaman kacang sacha inchi memiliki beberapa manfaat, salah satunya daunnya mengandung antioksidn dan dapat dimakan sebagai sayur ataupun diolah menjadi teh, biji buah/kacangnya memiliki kandungan asam lemak dan minyak hasil ekstraksi biji/kacang sacha inchi memiliki berbagai manfaat baik untuk kosmetik sebagai pelembab kulit. Selama ini permintaan pasar Indonesia akan sacha inchi sangat tinggi. Namun, suplai dari petani lokal terbilang minim. Bertujuan untuk Memberikan pelatihan pembuatan teh sachi kepada kelompok Wanita tani desa suka sari, jenis kegiatan yang digunakan adalah dengan metode tatap muka yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa/i dari kelompok 5 terdiri dari program studi agribisnis. Untuk menunjang kegiatan ini, maka rincian metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan yaitu: Pemaparan materi penyuluhan mengenai manfaat kacang sachi untuk kesehatan dan kecegahan satanting produk olahan kacang sachi menjadi snack bar cemilan tinggi protein. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan pengabdian Masyarakat mahasiswa (PMM) dapat disimpulkan1Masyarakat memahami teori tentang dasar-dasar pembuatan teh ditandai dengan munculnya ide kreatif untuk memodifikasi alat dan bahan yang digunakan.2Masyarakat memahami proses pembuatan the dilihat dari trampil peserta pelatihan saat kegiatan PMM berlangsung3Teh sachi salah satu ide kreatif untuk masyarakat membuat minuman sehat.

Abstract

Vegetables are still generally traded in fresh form. Unlike the case with fruits, processed vegetable products are almost said to have no well-established processed products in Indonesia. The technology applied is fermentent vegetables such as salted vegetables and drying which are still limited in nature. Frozen vegetables are one way of preserving agricultural products in the form of vegetables using low temperatures. Freezing can kill some types of microbes which is detrimental sometimes even up to more than 90%. Freezing treatment can be carried out on some mixed products of several vegetables that are ready for use. Frozen Food Technology can be a solution in extending the shelf life and durability of a product. The advantage of food freezing techniques is that food quality such as nutritional value and organoleptic properties are maintained. The bliter seberang village area is planted with various types of agricultural crops such as corn, tomatoes, chilies, celery leaves, carrots and others (Profile of Belitar Seberang Village, 2021). As for vegetables by residents, they are sold immediately after harvesting, but if the vegetables are not sold, they will be consumed by themselves or thrown away if they start to rot. Due to the limited knowledge of the community until now, no one has tried to make vegetables in frozen form or Frozen Vegetable, so the taste still requires a touch of processing and packaging technology that can add to its selling value and maintain its durability so that it is not easily damaged. Frozen vegetables that are packaged well are expected to be more durable and practical to carry around and can become typical souvenirs of Wsata Belitung Village. It is hoped by the service team that the community who have received counseling and training on "Innovation in Commodity-Based Product Development as a Typical Souvenir of Belirang Village" can take advantage of the results of the training on packaging vegetables in frozen form so that they can be used as souvenirs typical of belitar village across rejang lebong regency. The public has been given information on how to make attractive packaging and the inclusion of information (labeling) on the packaging so that it can add to the selling value of the product. People are also taught how to market products through social media so that products can be widely known. Providing information on how to process, packaging, labeling and marketing appropriately to the community will provide added value so as to increase the selling value of products and community income
