Abstract

Pemeriksaan standarisasi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui standar mutu dari ekstrak dan juga memastikan agar ekstrak herba tespong (Oenanthe javanica (Blume) DC) memenuhi persyaratan yang telah ditetapkan sehingga ekstrak yang digunakan terjamin kemananan, efikasi, dan kualitas-nya dengan baik. Metode yang digunakan yaitu uji parameter spesifik dan non-spesifik standar mutu ekstrak yang memenuhi persyaratan yang telah ditetapkan pada literatur. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa standarisasi dari ekstrak etanol herba tespong baik uji parameter standar spesifik maupun non spesifik yaitu secara identitas nama latin (Oenanthe javanica (Blume) DC) bagian yang digunakan herba, organoleptik kental, bau khas dan berwarna hijau kehitaman, kadar sari yang larut dalam air 9,82%±1,76, kadar sari yang larut dalam etanol 40,45% ±1,32 dan susut pengeringan 7,38% ±1,01, penetapan kadar abu total 7,81%±0,61. Hasil skrining fitokimia ekstrak herba tespong mengandung senyawa metabolit flavonoid, alkaloid, fenol, kuinon, steroid, dan saponin, sedangkan pada profil kromatogram KLT ditandai adanya bercak berwarna biru berfluoresensi pada panjang gelombang (ʎ) 366 nm dengan latar belakang berwarna ungu, memiliki nilai Rf sebesar 0,7, berarti memiliki metabolit sekunder.

Abstract

Genjer (Limnocharis flava L.) is of plants that bloom throughout the year. The part that can be used of Limnocharis flava L. is leaves, but more people used stems and flowers of Limnocharis flava L. for consumption. The present study has aim to determine the phytochemical screening and antioxidants activity assay of Limnocharis flava L. bloom extracts. Method of the research are extraction by maceration, screening phytochemical, DPPH method which is by measuring the capture of synthetic radicals in polar organic solvents at room temperature. The results of phytochemical screening of Limnocharis flava L. bloom are flavonoid, saponin, tannin, polyphenols, quinone. Antioxidant activity assay of Limnocharis flava L. bloom from three extracts have resulted IC50 value from methanol extract 61.4224 ppm, ethyl acetate extract 160.4368 ppm and n-hexane 433,2932 ppm. Methanol extract has a stronger antioxidant compared to ethyl acetate and n-hexane extracts by DPPH method.

Abstract

Infectious diseases can be transmitted from one person to another or from animals to humans of the causes of infection diseases is fungi. Fungi are microorganisms in the form of cells or branched threads. These microorganisms have a rigid cell wall and composed of polysaccharides or chitin, have nuclei and spores, are not chlorophyllous and do not multiply sexually and asexually. Based on this, research was carried using of the welling method on antifungal bioactivity as well as a thin layer chromatography test of spotting to determine the content of secondary metabolites contained in the leaves of kale fence. This study aims to determine the bioactivity of secondary metabolites in n-hexane extract, ethyl acetate, and methanol of kangkong pagar leaves (Ipomoea carnea Jacq) against Candida albicans fungi. This study made four different concentrations namely 60%, 80%, 100%, 120%, for positive control using ketoconazole and negative control using CMC 1%. Data analysis is using the One Way ANOVA test. From this study, the results were that kale fence leaf extract contains secondary metabolites, namely flavonoids, tannins, steroids. Then the results of the antifungal activity test of fencing kale leaves have activities that can inhibit fungi at a concentration of 120% with an inhibitory zone diameter of 11,254 mm so that they can be classified as strong antifungal bioactivity, in the results of the One Way ANOVA analysis of the three samples (N Hexana, Methanol and ethyl Acetate), it is known that the Sig value is 0.000 < 0.05 so it can be said that the rata_rata is "Significantly Different".

Abstract

Melastoma malabathricum L. plant or commonly known as senduduk is often used as a source of food and medicine. The stem of senduduk is one part of the senduduk plant that has not been widely utilized in existence compared to its flowers, fruits and leaves. Senduduk plant has activity as antidiarrhea, fractures, digestive tract disorders, melancholy, seizures, epilepsy, abdominal pain, thrush, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, wound, and antioxidant, in addition to the myriad benefits of M. malabathricum L. also contains toxic compounds. Therefore, this study aims to determine the toxic activity of n-hexane extract, ethyl acetate, senduduk stem methanol (M. malabathricum L.) against A. salina L. shrimp larvae to avoid toxic risks in humans. The method used in the study was the Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) using 10 shrimp larvae A. salina L. in each replication carried out three times afterwards followed by probit analysis to see the percentage of shrimp larva death. The study also found results that n-Hexane extract contains flavonoids, quinones and saponins, while ethyl acetate and methanol extracts contain only flavonoids and quinone. Senduduk stem extract (M. malabathricum L.) has a toxic effect with a value of LC50 < 1000 ppm or in the n-Hexane extract of 1.66 ppm, while in ethyl acetate extract of 56.23 ppm and methanol extract of 128.82 ppm.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Bukan hanya tumbuhan yang dibudidayakan yang bermanfaat bagi manusia. Ternyata salah satu bagian tumbuhan (seperti kulit batang) yang tersebar disekitar kita sering diabaikan juga menyimpan potensi luar biasa, khususnya sebagai obat (Dalimartha, S., Hembing, W, 1997). Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hasil identifikasi sederhana analisis kualitatif metabolit sekunder kulit batang tanaman kawista (Limonia Acidissima L.) yang dapat dijadikan sebagai senyawa potensial untuk diuji lebih lanjut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode ekstraksi Refluks, pemeriksaan makroskopik, pengujian analisis kualitatif penapisan fitokimia simplisia kulit batang kawista ( Limonia acidissima L. ). Hasil penelitian berdasarkan karakteristik penetapan kadar air dengan cara destilasi sebesar 1,67 % v/b. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kualitatif penapisan fitokimia dari kulit batang kawista ( Limonia acidissima L. ) mengandung senyawa golongan flavonoid, saponin, polifenolat, monoterpenoid dan seskuiterpenoid. Abstract

Batang randu adalah pohon tropis yang tergolong ordo Malvaceae (sebelumnya Bombacaceae). Kata ‘kapuk’ digunakan untuk menyebut serat yang dihasilkan dari bijinya.Pohon ini juga dikenal sebagai Kapas Jawa atau Kapok Jawa. Selama ini batang kapuk randu hanya digunakan sebagai tanaman atau obat herbal tanpa diolah terlebih dahulu. Untuk memberikan informasi mengenai metabolit sekunder yangterkandung pada batang randuCeiba pentandra (L) Gaetrn. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan kromatografi lapis tipis yang di lanjut dengan kromatografi kolom. Analisis metabolit sekunder dengan spektrofotometri UV-Vis dengan panjang gelombang 200-600 nm. Hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada batang randu Ceiba pentandra (L) Gaetrn Mengandung senyawa flavonoid dengan jenis Flavon. Abstract

Semakin maraknya penggunaan obat tradisional berdasarkan khasiat yang turun temurun, semakin memperluas kesempatan terjadinya pemalsuan simplisia, bahkan ada beberapa jamu yang mengandung Bahan Kimia Obat (BKO) yang telah jelas dilarang penambahannya, baik sengaja maupun tidak disengaja ke dalam obat tradisional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi kandungan Bahan Kimia Obat (BKO) prednison pada jamu rematik dan pegal linu. Sampel jamu yang digunakan yaitu sebanyak sepuluh sampel jamu yang berbeda dengan metode Kromatografi Lapis Tipis (KLT) sebagai metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan adanya lima sampel jamu (yang positif mengandung Bahan Kimia Obat (BKO) yang dianalisis dengan eluen etil asetat – kloroform dengan masing masing pebandingan 6:4 dan 8:2 sampel (A, B, C, E, dan J), 9:1 (A,B, C,E, F), dengan Rf yang sama dengan baku standar (prednisone p.a) dan memilik warna bercak biru-ungu.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melaksanakan salah satu bagian dari Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, memberikan edukasi mengenai “Menggunakan Masker Dan Hand Sanitizer Efektif Mencegah Penyebaran Covid-19 Di Lingkungan Kantor Desa Pasirkamuning”. Metode yang dilakukan pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarat adalah melakukan edukasi melalui spanduk pencegahan Covid-19, Pemberian sejumlah masker, hand sanitizer, Tempat mencuci tangan portable lengkap beserta sabun. Hasil Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat sangat sejalan dengan cara-cara yang telah di atur dengan mutlak pada peraturan ST/868/III/KEP./2020 tentang Antisipasi Virus Covid-19, dapat mencegah ada nya kasus reaktif Covid-19 di lingkungan kantor Desa Pasirkamuning dan di lingkungan masyarakat Desa Pasirkamuning. Abstract

Red Beetroot Tubers have the benefit of providing a natural colour in the manufacture of food products. In the red beetroot fruit, there is the pigment betacyanin which is a derivative of betalain. Betasianin is a red or violet pigment which is a group of polar flavonoids because it binds to nitrogen pigment sugars and is a substitute for anthocyanins. The purpose of this study was to determine which red beet tuber ethanol extract face serum formula (Beta vulgaris L.) was the best, based on the results of the physical evaluation (organoleptic, pH, dispersion, viscosity, homogeneity), proving the presence of antioxidant content based on qualitative testing using KLT and specific spotting (DPPH 0.4%) in each formulation. The result of this study is that the content of secondary metabolites of red beetroot tuber extract (Beta vulgaris L.) positively contains flavonoid compounds, alkaloids, quinones, saponins, and flavonoids, based on the results of the physical evaluation (organoleptic liquid textured and brownish-yellow in colour, pH (5.00), dispersion power (5.5), viscosity (1997), homogeneity test with homogeneous results and based on qualitative antioxidant activity tests using Thin Layer Chromatography and spotting appearance specific (DPPH 0.4%) is F2 because it has a more pronounced yellow spot colour against the background of a purple colour plate, this means that the red beet tuber face serum preparation contains a class of antioxidant compounds. So it can be concluded that the best formula is formula 2 because it has good dosage characteristics and is suspected to contain antioxidant compounds based on qualitative analysis
