Abstract

Pasal 24 ayat (1) Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia Tahun 1945 menegaskan bahwa kekuasaan kehakiman adalah kekuasaan yang berdiri sendiri untuk menyelenggarakan peradilan dalam rangka menegakkan hukum dan keadilan. Namun, status independen bagi hakim sama sekali tidak berarti hakim memberikan keputusan sesuka hatinya. Maka penting sekali pengawasan terhadap hakim dalam mengawasi kode etik dan moral hakim. Hakim sangat erat kaitannya dengan hukum atau supremasi hukum. Hakim adalah alat peradilan yang dianggap memahami hukum, yang di pundaknya dilimpahkan kewajiban dan tanggung jawab agar tegaknya hukum dan keadilan, baik berdasarkan tertulis maupun tidak tertulis (sidang suatu perkara diajukan dengan dalih bahwa hakim hukumnya tidak jelas atau tidak jelas), dan tidak boleh ada sesuatu pun yang bertentangan dengan asas dan sendi-sendi keadilan yang berlandaskan Tuhan Yang Maha Esa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian yuridis normatif atau hukum normatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa kewenangan Mahkamah Agung dalam Pengawasan Kode Etik Hakim dilihat dari sistem pengawasan kode etik dan pedoman perilaku hakim yang terbagi menjadi dua bagian yaitu pengawasan internal dan eksternal. Pengawasan internal dilakukan oleh Mahkamah Agung, sedangkan pengawasan eksternal dilakukan oleh Komisi Yudisial. Cara hakim melaksanakan penerapan kode etik pada dasarnya menjalankan fungsi kode etik dan pedoman perilaku hakim.

Abstract

Gampong assets are items belonging to the gampong that originate from the Gampong's original assets, purchased or obtained at the expense of the Gampong Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBG) or the acquisition of other legal rights. The purpose of this research problem formulation is (1) to find out how the assets of Gampong Paya Baro are managed, and (2) to find out how effective the management of Gampong Paya Baro's assets is in terms of the juridical aspect in managing the assets of Gampong Paya Baro. This research uses qualitative field research methods. The types of data in this research are secondary data (library) and primary data (field). Data collection techniques are interviews and documentation. Data processing and analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and guidelines for writing a thesis. Based on the results of this research (1) the assets of Gampong Paya Baro consist of oil palm plantations, Kede-kede Gampong, Hand Tractors, Fish Shelters, Rice Threshers, and Teratak along with Chairs. The management of the assets of Gampong Paya Baro, Teunom District, Aceh Jaya Regency has not been fully implemented using Transparency (openness, honesty and clarity), Accountability (Responsibility), and Participation (cooperating) carried out by the gampong government and the Gampong Paya Baro community. (2) The effectiveness of the management of gampong assets is reviewed from a juridical aspect, Aceh Jaya Regency Qanun Number 4 of 2018 concerning Gampong Government states that the management of gampong assets is the authority of the Keuchik to gampong officials. Based on this Qanun, the effectiveness of managing the assets of Gampong Paya Baro has not been carried out effectively

Abstract

Contextual companion textbooks are needed in geography learning with a spatial perspective as a tool for expressing material so that it can stimulate student’s understanding of spatial concepts. This research aims to analyzed the needs of companion textbooks development reviewed from teachers, students, and curriculum. This type of research is quantitative and descriptive research with questionnaires, interviews, and literature studies as data collection techniques. The research subjects are students in XII grade at SMA Negeri 3 Palembang, SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang, and SMA NU Palembang. The data obtained were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that students have good interest in reading books and good spatial perspective. However, these characteristics are not supported by the main textbooks that have not been compiled with a spatial perspective so that the books have not been able to stimulate student’s understanding of spatial concepts. Based on the needs analysis conducted, it can be concluded that it is necessary to develop companion textbooks with a spatial perspective so that they can stimulate students' understanding of spatial concepts.

Abstract

The development of technology is currently growing rapidly followed by other developments. One of which is in the education field which is progressively integrated with technology. The implementation of education which is integrated with technology has been widely found, one of which is in geography subject. This is supported by the increased use of smartphone for learning. Android as smartphone operating system is chosen because it has the advantage of being open source, so it can produce interactive learning media focusing on the learning. The objective of this research is to produce an interactive learning medium with MIT App Inventor platform on the sub-material about the distribution of mining goods in Indonesia. This research used ADDIE method consisting of needs analysis and problem identification, designing android-based interactive learning media designs, producing android-based interactive learning media designs, conducting experts’ validation and conducting trials. Validation was assessed by two experts, namely media and material experts. Meanwhile, trials were conducted individually (teacher) and collectively (students). The results of this study show that this media obtains 98% from a media expert, 82% from a material expert, 88% from individual trial by the teacher and 89% from small groups trial by the students. Overall, this study denotes that this media is classified as highly feasible to be implemented in learning.

Abstract

Article 18B number [2] of the 1945 Constitution states that the State recognizes and respects customary law community units and their traditional rights as long as they are still alive and in accordance with community development and the principles of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, which are regulated by law. Article 18B, the Constitution provides the basis for the establishment of customary institutions as part of the policy for implementing regional autonomy in Aceh. Included in the Aceh autonomy policy is the establishment of customary institutions, including the Acehnese traditional assembly. the existence of the Aceh Customary Council, has been regulated in Chapter XIII of the Customary Institution Article 98 of Law Number 11 of 2006 concerning the Government of Aceh. In the process of monitoring the performance of the Aceh Customary Council, the Aceh Barat Regency has its own role in carrying out their duties and authorities as stipulated in Article 49 of the West Aceh Regency Qanun Number 5 of 2021 concerning the Aceh Customary Council, that the Aceh Regency Customary Council fosters and supervises the implementation of adat. based on Islam in the life of the people of West Aceh.

Abstract

Abstract: In the midst of increasingly sophisticated technological developments today, spatial ability is one of the important abilities that must be mastered by students. The research is included in the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) research method. Through a literature review of 30 studies, the research sought to identify common patterns, influencing factors, as well as the implications of such gender differences. The analysis showed a tendency for males and females to differ in certain aspects of spatial ability, particularly in tasks involving mental rotation and spatial visualization, with males outperforming females. However, these findings are not always consistent across studies, and various factors such as biological factors such as age, cognitive factors such as learning style, social environmental factors, and individual emotional factors also play an important role that can affect spatial ability. This research also identified a diversity of research methods used in previous studies, ranging from quantitative to qualitative approaches. This demonstrates the complexity of researching this phenomenon. In addition, most of the studies focused on upper secondary students, so further research is needed to understand gender differences in spatial ability at lower levels of education. The findings of this study have significant implications for educational practice. Teachers need to create learning environments that are inclusive and stimulate the development of spatial abilities of all students, regardless of their gender. The use of various learning strategies involving object manipulation, visualization and problem solving can help improve students' spatial abilities. Further research is needed to develop effective interventions to improve spatial ability in all students, study the factors of spatial ability development, conduct cross-cultural studies to study the influence of cultural factors on gender differences in spatial ability. In addition, cross-cultural research is also important to understand how social and cultural factors affect the development of spatial ability. Keywords: spatial ability, spatial ability factors, gender differences.

Abstract

Abstrack: This study was motivated by increasing environmental damage. Critical thinking abilities are developed through education, which helps students get ready for future environmental issues. Geography learning at MAN 1 Malang is still dominated by a teacher-centred learning model, which is ineffective in developing students' critical thinking abilities. The purpose of this study is to investigate how Grade XI students' critical thinking abilities are affected when the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model integrated with Instagram Greenpeaceid. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with a post-test only control group, involving an experimental class and a control class. The experimental class uses PBL integrated Instagram, while the control class uses the Direct Instruction method. There was a substantial difference between the two classes, based on the independent sample t-test results, which revealed significance at 0.005 < 0.05. These results show that using Instagram Greenpeaceid integrated with the PBL paradigm successfully improves students' critical thinking abilities through logical, argumentative, and collaborative discussion and presentation activities. This integration also supports the achievement of 21st-century competencies in geography education. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kerusakan lingkungan yang semakin meningkat. Pendidikan berperan penting dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis guna mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi tantangan lingkungan di masa depan. Pembelajaran geografi di MAN 1 Malang masih didominasi model teacher centered, yang kurang efektif dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) terintegrasi Instagram Greenpeaceid terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi-experiment dengan desain post-test only control group, melibatkan kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan PBL terintegrasi Instagram, sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan Direct Instruction. Hasil uji independent sample t-test menunjukkan signifikansi 0,005 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelas. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PBL terintegrasi Instagram Greenpeaceid efektif meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa melalui kegiatan diskusi dan presentasi yang logis, argumentatif, dan kolaboratif. Integrasi ini juga mendukung pencapaian kompetensi abad ke-21 dalam pembelajaran geografi.

Abstract

The development of technology has led to a transformation in the field of learning into a smart learning environment. However, the unpreparedness of institutions, such as facilities and infrastructure, as well as the lack of digital pedagogy among teachers, such as low technology literacy, a lack of creativity, and confidence in implementing digital-based learning, poses significant challenges. The solution to these problems involves conducting training and utilizing microlearning and microcontent for differentiated learning within the independent curriculum through workshop activities. The method of community service involves the active participation of partners, namely the Geography Teachers' Association of Batu City, in workshop activities. The purpose of this community service is to train in the application of microlearning and microcontent in differentiated Geography learning within the Independent Curriculum. In its evaluation, the workshop activities have had a positive impact on the participants, received support from various parties, and there is follow-up to ensure that the activities are carried out continuously.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat memberikan kesempatan untuk melibatkan teknologi dalam pembelajaran sebagai upaya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Integrasi antara teknologi dan pembelajaran dapat diimplementasikan melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran yang inovatif. Salah satu kendala pembelajaran geografi adalah sulitnya penyampaian materi ketahanan pangan nasional secara kontekstual, sehingga membutuhkan adanya visualisasi materi nyata yang dikaji berdasarkan kondisi suatu wilayah melalui media VLOG. Pengembangan VLOG diharapkan dapat memberikan kesempatan bagi siswa untuk mempelajari kondisi ketahanan pangan di lingkungan sekitar melalui media yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menghasilkan VLOG ketahanan pangan berbasis urban farming dengan pendekatan kontekstual yang layak. Metode pada penelitian menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Uji validasi ahli menyatakan bahwa media VLOG layak dilanjutkan pada tahap uji coba kelayakan dengan syarat melakukan revisi kecil. Adapun tahap uji coba kelayakan media yang dilakukan oleh guru dan siswa SMAN 1 Geger Madiun menghasilkan nilai kelayakan sebesar 91,7% dan 86,2% yang menunjukkan bahwa media VLOG termasuk kriteria sangat layak dan dapat digunakan pada pembelajaran geografi tanpa revisi

Abstract

In Sultan Imanuddin Hospital's central surgical room, analyzing the cooling load is essential to maintaining optimal working conditions for medical procedures. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of the cooling system in the surgical room according to the Republic of Indonesia's Minister of Health Regulation Number 7 of 2019. The investigation measured the cooling load required to maintain the room temperature within established health standards. The central surgical room was found to have a cooling load of 4301.462 kcal/h, equivalent to 17059.60 Btu/h. The hospital's air conditioning system, with a capacity of 2 PK or 18000 Btu/h, was determined to be sufficient to handle this load, providing a margin of 940.4 Btu/h. These findings enhance our understanding of the hospital's cooling system and offer recommendations to ensure that patients and medical personnel receive high-quality, safe care.
