Abstract

The fish processing and marketing group (poklahsar) in the Gili Matra Marine Protected Area has received intervention from the central government through Bappenas in the COREMAP-CTI III program. This intervention involves improving human resource capacity and providing grants for fish processing equipment. However, the limited duration of the program has resulted in suboptimal assistance in utilizing the donated fish processing equipment. Therefore, the involvement of universities in assisting the community is deemed necessary. This assistance activity aims to inform and educate the poklahsar about the use of fish processing equipment, particularly machines, to enhance production capacity in the Gili Matra Marine Protected Area. The assistance activities were carried out in July 2023 at the respective production locations of each poklahsar. The educational method for adults in this assistance activity involves lectures and hands-on practical training. The outcome of this assistance activity is an increased understanding and knowledge among poklahsar in the Gili Matra Marine Protected Area regarding the functions and uses of various machine-based fish processing equipment. Additionally, it was identified that some obstacles hinder optimizing machine-based equipment utilization, including a lack of understanding in using such equipment and limited market demand for processed fish products. In conclusion, the poklahsar have diverse views on using machine-based equipment, enabling them to optimize the use of such equipment despite the limited demand for processed fish products.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the government procurement method for goods and services through the e-purchasing system (e-catalog) at Dr. Soetomo Regional General Hospital. The data reviewed are a summary of procurement methods and types. Data collection techniques used include interviews, observation, and documentation. Qualitative data analysis was used. The results of this study indicate that the e-catalog system is simple, effective, efficient, and on-target. The e-catalog has problems such as frequent application errors, unmet product needs, and the inability to provide services within the specified timeframe without a contract. Criteria for selecting goods and services providers include licensing, good reviews, and product prices that meet requirements. Late delivery or exceeding the deadline is subject to sanctions. The benefits of the e-catalog simplify the monitoring and maintenance process, as it facilitates communication between all parties involved. Its advantages include ensuring the certainty of the technical specifications of the goods or services ordered and ensuring appropriate prices.

Abstract

Tilapia have a good ability to adapt to their environment and exhibit rapid growth. This study aimed to determine the growth of tilapia cultured using the biofloc system. The research was conducted in Dusun Batulayar Selatan, Desa Batulayar Barat, Kecamatan Batulayar, Kabupaten Lombok Barat. The tilapia fry used had an initial average weight of 10 grams and a length of 8 cm. The stocking density was 500 fish per round pond with a diameter of 2 meters. Feed was given three times a day at 3% of the fish’s body biomass. In addition to feed, molasses was also provided. Fish growth was monitored weekly by measuring the length and weight of 100 fish. Water quality parameters monitored included pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), and temperature. The results showed that after 2 months of rearing, the tilapia had an average weight growth of 48.55 grams and an average length of 12.43 cm. Based on these results, the biofloc system is expected to be an effective alternative for tilapia cultivation.

Abstract

Stroke remains a leading cause of disability and mortality worldwide, demanding a comprehensive, structured, and evidence-based approach across the full continuum of care. Clinical pathways (CPs) are integrated, multidisciplinary protocols that operationalize guidelines into day-to-day practice—linking prehospital prenotification, emergency triage, acute treatment, early rehabilitation, and discharge planning. This narrative review synthesizes the rationale, design steps, core components, and clinical evidence for CP implementation in stroke care. Key pathway elements include time-critical targets (e.g., rapid brain imaging for reperfusion candidates), standardized assessments (e.g., National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale / NIHSS), complication prevention bundles (dysphagia screening, venous thromboembolism prophylaxis, glucose and temperature control), mobilization and nutrition plans, patient–caregiver education, and follow-up coordination, all embedded within audit/variance tracking for continuous quality improvement. Evidence indicates that CPs can reduce in-hospital complications, shorten length of stay, lower costs, increase documentation completeness, strengthen adherence to guidelines, and enhance patient satisfaction and team collaboration. Effects on hard clinical outcomes (mortality, long-term disability) are more variable and appear contingent on stroke-unit infrastructure, resource readiness, team training, and local adaptation. Overall, CPs remain a strategic tool within organized stroke systems, translating evidence into timely, coordinated care and supporting iterative improvements in quality and efficiency. Abstract

Research aim : The purpose of this study was to evaluate different approaches to implementing transparency, which is a form of commitment to being for school management, and to discover the problems that arise when implementing it. Design/Methode/Approach : This research used the literature study method by reviewing various academic references, education policies and best practices in implementing transparency in schools. Data were collected and analyzed in three stages: data reduction, categorization, and interpretation. Research Finding : The results show that several key approaches can be used to achieve successful school transparency. These strategies include increasing stakeholder awareness and understanding, building an infrastructure that supports information disclosure, and implementing transparency gradually to reduce resistance. Theoretical contribution/Originality : This study enriches the existing body of knowledge by systematically evaluating various strategies for implementing transparency within school management. Unlike prior research that may have focused on singular approaches or lacked a comprehensive framework, this study synthesizes multiple methodologies, offering a holistic perspective on achieving transparency. Practitionel/Policy implication : In , to maintain sustainable transparency, schools should adopt a more accountable financial system, increase community participation in decision-making, and balance privacy and openness with applicable regulations. Schools can increase accountability, improve education governance and strengthen community relations by applying the right approach. Research limitation : The absence of empirical data means that the practical effectiveness of the proposed strategies remains to be validated in real-world settings.
