Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a degenerative disease that can cause complications. Handling of DM patients is done with 4 pillars, including: Education, diet, physical exercise, and treatment. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of nurses' knowledge about the implementation of management education with knowledge of DM in the Pekanbaru City Health Center Area. The research design used is descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach. The sampling technique in this study is total sampling with 30 respondents. Univariate analysis results based on the level of patient knowledge about DM management about good education (96.7%), good diet (80%), good exercise (86.7%) in the treatment category (93.3%) in the good category . Respondents' knowledge about DM management is sufficient (53.3%), the results of bivariate analysis obtained p value > α (0.05), it was concluded that there was no relationship between the implementation of the four pillars of DM management with knowledge of DM. The role of nurses as educators in patients with DM in the health center is not optimal. It is recommended that the role of educator be given training in developing education of the four pillars of sustainable management in health services. Keywords: DM Management, Implementation, Knowledge

Abstract

Congenital Heart Disease (PJB) is one of congenital abnormalities with abnormalities in structures and circulatoryfunctions that have been present since birth. Children with congenital heart disease are often disrupted by their dietaryintake and have an impact on their growth. Anthropometry is a way to determine the nutritional status of one of them byusing the parameters of age, weight, and height. Anthropometric measurements can use Weight per Age (BB / U), BodyHeight per Age (TB / U), Weight Loss per Body Height (BM) and Body Mass Index (BMI / U). The purpose of this studyis to see the picture of nutritional status in children with congenital heart disease (CHD) in one private hospital inPekanbaru. The type of this research is descriptive research with total sampling method. The result of this researchwere taken using by observation sheet and medical record data of patients with congenital heart disease. The results ofthis study obtained 55 samples with total sample. The measuring instruments used are weighing scales and body lengthmeasuring instruments. The analysis to know the frequency distribution. The results showed that 47 respondents whostudied non-cyanotic congenital heart disease category had the most normal nutritional status of 33 respondents(70.2%) and 1 obese nutritional status (2,1%), so it can be concluded that the majority of status of nutritional childrenwith non-cyanotic congenital heart disease is normal status. Researchers recommend to their parents to maintain abalance of nutritional intake and monitor the growth of children with congenital heart disease. Keywords : Child, Congenital heart disease, Nutritional status.

Abstract

Academic stress is a feeling of discomfort experienced by students due to the demands of the campus which triggers physical, psychological, and behavioral changes. One of the demands faced by final level students is the process of preparing a thesis. This results in students experiencing academic stress while preparing a thesis. This study aims to determine the description of the academic stress level of nursing students in preparing a thesis. The design of this study used descriptive cross sectional approach. Samples were taken with a total sampling technique of 75 respondents. The measuring instrument uses a Likert scale. The results of this study found that the academic stress levels of students in compiling the thesis were 38 people (50.7%) had severe academic stress levels, namely phased revision of the thesis 55 people (73.3%) and the proposal stage 4 people (5.3%). While the academic stress level is as many as 37 people (49.3%), namely staged data collection 7 people (9.3%) and data processing stages 9 people (12.0%). Stress on physical condition 45 people (60.0%), stress on emotional conditions 59 people (78.7%) and stress on cognitive conditions 46 people (51.3%) were at moderate academic stress levels and stressed on behavioral conditions as much as 30 people (40.0%) were at the level of severe academic stress. It is expected that students who are preparing a thesis must prepare themselves physically and psychologically in preparing a thesis so that they can prevent stress due to thesis.Keyword : educational stress, study of nursing, thesis

Abstract

Peat soil has high moisture content and organic content. Peat soil is stabilized to improve soil properties and increase its strength. This study examines stabilization mixtures on peat soil with geopolymers hybrid. Geopolymers are alternative substitutes for cement, made from remnants of industrial waste which rich of silica and alumina, such as fly ash, husk ash, slag and palm ash. The geopolymer bond can be activated with an activator solution. Geopolymers were added by OPC to accelerate hardening and optimize strength on the ground. The purpose of this study is to compare the compressive strength of peat soil mixed with the soil geopolymer hybrid using an Unconfined Compressive Strength (UCS) Test. This study used a different variation of the treatment that are the age of 7 days and 28 days. Binder for the mixed set of 200 kg/m3 with geopolymer materials used by 50% of the binder and the OPC which was used by 50% and 100% of the binder. The results showed that the compressive strength with hybrid geopolymer mixture tends to increase from 7 days to 28 days and the compressive strength of geopolymer hybrid is higher than peat. Based on the results of this test it is concluded that peat soil using a mixture of hybrid geopolymer could increase the value of compressive strength. Keywords: peat soil, OPC, fly ash, geopolymer hybrid, UCS

Abstract

Motorized vehicles are one of the main needs of every human being and also the most common form of transportation used by people. To choose a motorized vehicle, people should not choosing it in a hurry because it takes good consideration to choose the right brand, type, and the need for the vehicle. In making their choice, usually people will read the reviews from vehicle review sites such as Carmudi.co.id, OTO.com, KobaYogas.com, and so on. The purpose of this thesis is to help provide web-based vehicle recommendations using the values of rating and criteria selected by the user. User rating values are calculated with collaborative filtering. In addition to the rating value, users can also get vehicle recommendations by providing specifications of the vehicle needs. Rating values from the program users will be processed by using adjusted cosine similarity to determine their similarity score to the rating values from vehicle review sites and other users so the vehicle recommendations can be obtained according to the similarity of the other user ratings. Based on the results of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) from 21 respondents, the testing got an average score of 83.95% so the program can be categorized as “Very Good”.
