Abstract

The wound healing process consists of four main phases: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. The proliferative stage in wound healing is characterized by the formation of new tissue and the presence of fibroblast cells that migrate to the wound area to close it. Vaname shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) chitosan is known as a material that is non-toxic and has biocompatibility, biodegradation ability, polyelectrolyte properties, and has been shown to have antimicrobial and accelerated wound healing. The purpose of this study was to observe the effect of Vaname shrimp chitosan gel on wound healing by examining the histological changes on the 14th day. This study was a laboratory experimental study on rats. Fifteen rats were divided into three groups: K+, K-, and KP. Wound surface areas were applied with chitosan from Vaname, commercial chitosan gel, and distilled water gel. Vaname shrimp chitosan gel was applied topically on wound surfaces in the treatment group twice a day and in the control group with distilled water gel. Fourteen days after treatment, all wounds were observed for their healing progress histologically, and Hematoxylin-Eosin staining was used. The results showed that the number of fibroblast cells in the Vaname shrimp chitosan group showed a significant difference between the control group, which had an average of 100.3, the negative control had an average of 110.2, and the Vaname group had an average of 90.2. The study can be concluded that there is an effect of -Kitosan from Vaname shrimp on wound healing (p=0.000).

Abstract

Business is basically a social practice. This makes success or failure in running a business not only determined by financial capital, but also determined by things broader than that. This condition also applies to the furniture business in Lhokseumawe City where UD Bripo managed to dominate while Dek Gam failed to compete. This study tries to uncover the facts of the furniture business with the same type of business, but in the furniture business UD Bripo succeeded in developing its business, on the other hand the Dek Gam furniture business failed to develop its business. Data collection is done by using ethnographic methods. The results of this study are that habitus and social capital have a significant role in supporting the success of the UD Bripo furniture business. Habitus owned by UD Bripo furniture business owners are brave, honest, focused, frugal, caring and leader-minded, and always thinks systems. While UD Bripo's successfully utilized social capital consists of norms, trust and network dimensions. The failure of the Dek Gam furniture business is due to the inaccurate application of habitus and social capital in the business arena.AbstrakBisnis pada dasarnya adalah sebuah praktik sosial. Hal ini membuat kesuksesan atau kegagalan dalam menjalankan sebuah bisnis tidak hanya ditentukan oleh faktor kekuatan modal finansial, melainkan juga ditentukan oleh hal-hal yang lebih luas daripada itu. Kondisi ini berlaku juga pada bisnis meubel di Kota Lhokseumawe dimana UD Bripo berhasil mendominasi sementara Dek Gam gagal berkompetisi. Studi ini mencoba menggambarkan mengapa usaha meubel dengan jenis usaha yang sama, namun pada usaha meubel UD Bripo berhasil mengembangkan usahanya secara signifikan, sebaliknya usaha meubel Dek Gam gagal mengembangkan usahanya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunaan metode etnografi. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu habitus dan modal sosial memiliki peran signifikan dalam mendukung kesuksesan bisnis meubel UD Bripo. Habitus yang dimiliki oleh pemilik usaha meubel UD Bripo diantaranya berani, jujur, fokus, hemat, peduli dan berjiwa pemimpin, serta selalu berpikir sistem. Sementara modal sosial UD Bripo yang berhasil didayagunakan terdiri atas dimensi norma, kepercayaan, dan jaringan. Adapun terjadinya kegagalan bisnis meubel Dek Gam disebabkan penerapan habitus dan modal sosial yang kurang tepat di dalam arena bisnis

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a common disorder in middle-aged and geriatri dogs. Diabetes mellitus occurs when the pancreas does not produce enough insulin or when the bodys cells do not respond well to insulin. Geriatri dogs, neutered males, specific breeds, glucocorticoid treatment and concurrent hyperadrenocorticism or pancreatitis are all associated with DM diagnosis in dogs. A twelve year-old male mix Corgi dog weighing 4.5 kg showed clinical signs of polyuria, polydipsia, polyphagia, and a very significant reduction in body weight. Blood biochemical analysis showed an increase in blood glucose levels up to 847 mg/dL. This dog was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus. The patient was given therapy in the form of feed replacement using special diabetic feed (Royal Canin Diabetic food ) and insulin glargine injection at a dose of 0.25 IU/kg twice a day before meals. After two weeks of therapy, the patient showed good progress as indicated by lowering blood glucose levels to 322 mg/dL and decreasing clinical symptoms in the form of polyuria, polydipsia, and polyphagia

Abstract

Varikokel didefinisikan sebagai pelebaran pleksus vena pampiniformis yang mengeringkan testis, dengan refluks darah vena. Meskipun dapat terjadi tanpa gejala dan terdeteksi, varikokel merupakan masalah yang relatif umum pada pasien yang mencari pertolongan medis untuk masalah infertilitas, atau mengeluhkan nyeri skrotum kronis atau ketidaknyamanan. Seorang pria berumur 43 tahun mendatangi Puskesmas Tanralili, mengeluh tentang nyeri yang dialaminya di kedua buah zakar selama enam bulan terakhir. Nyeri tersebut datang dan pergi, namun menjadi lebih intens saat ia berdiri atau mengejan. Ia juga melaporkan adanya benjolan yang semakin membesar meskipun awalnya kecil, tanpa perubahan warna kulit di sekitarnya dan tidak disertai dengan mual atau muntah. Riw. pengobatan sebelumnya, pasien berobat 1 bulan yang lalu di Poli Bedah Urologi RS. Bhayangkara Makassar dan terdiagnosis sebagai bilateral Varicocele. Diagnosis pada pasien ini ditegakkan melalui anamnesis, pemeriksaan fisik, analisis darah komprehensif, dan ultrasonografi skrotum. Penatalaksanaan untuk pasien ini berupa pemberian terapi cairan, elevasi skrotum, pemberian terapi simptomatik berdasarkan keluhan awal (NSAID), dan edukasi agar pasien dapat ditindaklanjuti dengan tindakan operasi di Rumah Sakit. Pasien menunjukkan perbaikan klinis pasca pemberian terapi NSAID, meskipun demikian, tindakan tersebut tidak menyelesaikan penyebab primer dari kondisi yang dialami. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan prosedur bedah agar pemulihan dapat tercapai secara total. Kesimpulan dari laporan kasus ini menunjukkan bahwa Varicocele adalah kondisi yang sering terjadi pada pria dalam bidang Urologi dan menjadi penyebab utama infertilitas. Hal ini membutuhkan penanganan yang efektif untuk mencegah peningkatan morbiditas dan mortalitas.

Abstract

The existence of Adat in Aceh is getting stronger after the MoU between the Indonesian government and the Free Aceh Movement. However, it cannot be denied that customary disputes continue to occur. Lecturers as academics are required to be involved in the customary settlement process because this is a form of lecturer service to the community. This paper aims to look further at the involvement of PTKIN lecturers in Aceh in the customary dispute resolution process. This research resulted from an empirical study using a sociological approach. The sociological approach looks at how the activities of the Acehnese indigenous people contribute to resolving customer disputes. This study focuses on two PTKIN consisting of lecturers at UIN Ar-Raniry and IAIN Lhokseumawe. Data sources were obtained from interviews and observations; data analysis was carried out by means of data reduction obtained from the interviewer, and then analysis was carried out. The results of this study indicate that practically, law lecturers, with their scientific discipline, have contributed to the resolution of customary disputes. The law lecturer at PTKIN has carried out several stages of customary dispute resolution, starting from examining the problem, carrying out mediation, and reviewing legal norms that are used as a reference in dispute resolution. The strategy for resolving disputes is carried out by classifying the problem and bringing it closer to the legal aspect so as to produce a balanced solution both in terms of aspects of religious law and state law. Obstacles and problems that occur are related to the lack of agreement between the parties regarding customary decisions, so the parties choose the path of litigation (court). The litigation route is the last alternative when an agreement cannot be reached through a customary decision.

Abstract

Peran penting dalam struktur pemerintahan daerah dengan adanya teknologi informasi digital dalam mendukung program perangkat gampong. pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam tata kelola gampong sangat penting untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, transparansi, dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam proses melihat informasi desa dan pelaksanaan program gampong yang telah dan sedang dilaksanakan. sistem informasi web gampong merupakan solusi yang efektif untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi informasi. Perkembangan teknologi menuntut penyesuaian tata kelola, termasuk pemerintahan desa. undang-undang nomor 6 tahun 2014 pada bab ix bagian ketiga pasal 86 tentang desa mengatur tentang ketersediaan website desa dalam mendukung pelayanan publik. permasalahannya sekarang adalah belum adanya website gampong yang baik untuk dapat menyampaikan informasi yang berkembang di gampong tersebut. Metodologi ini dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui beberapa kegiatan antara lain mengidentifikasi kebutuhan, merancang sistem, mengembangkan platform web, integrasi data, dan memberikan materi kepada masyarakat dalam mengoperasikan teknologi informasi digital dalam mendukung program pemerintah gampong. Pendekatan partisipatif melibatkan peran aktif pemerintah Gampong dan warga masyarakat dalam semua tahapan pembangunan. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa teknologi Sistem Informasi Web Gampong mampu memberikan manfaat yang nyata dalam mendukung program pemerintah Gampong. Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi memungkinkan penyelenggaraan pemerintahan gampong menjadi lebih efisien, akses informasi yang lebih mudah bagi masyarakat. Selanjutnya, program pengembangan dapat lebih terencana, terukur, dan dapat dilihat melalui web digital, sehingga efektifitas pelaksanaannya meningkat.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of free shipping, religiousness, hedonic conformity and promotion on the consumption behavior of Gen-Z through simple random sampling technique that was done by questioners. The analysis used was double linear regression and was processed by Stata 17 software. The result of this research has shown that partially, some variables like free shipping and hedonic conformity are significantly influential toward the consumptive behavior. However, religiosity and promotion is not influential toward the consumptive behavior. Afterwards, simultaneously, some variables like free shipping, religiosity, hedonic conformity, and promotion are significantly influential toward the consumptive behaviors of the gen-z in Banda Aceh.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to evaluate the invasiveness and persistence of Pasteurella multocida after intratracheal inoculation on turkeys. Four strains of Pasteurella multocida, P-1059, T-325, CU, and M-9 were used in this study and intratracheally (IT) inoculated into turkeys. The number of viable bacteria in the trachea, lung, liver, spleen, and the blood were enumerated during periods of 6 and 9 hrs post inoculation (PI). The result showed that four strains of organism were present in the organ and the tissues observed. In the liver, spleen, and blood, the virulent P-1059 strain showed significant increases within 6 or 9 hrs PI. Strain CU showed significant increase only in the spleen. Two other strains did not show significant increase in any organs; strain M-9, on the other hand, showed significant decrease in the trachea. These results indicated that P-1059 and three other strains showed their ability to invade the tissues or organs when they are intratracheally inoculated.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to isolate and characterize the virus based on macroscopic examination of native chickens embryo infected with the AI virus. This research used 10 infected native chickens from Ateuk Pahlawan and Doi villages. All chickens were examined to identify the present of AI using rapid test and in ovo virus propagation. Rapid test showed 7 chickens from Ateuk Pahlawan villageand 5 chickens from Doi village were AI positive. Propagation of the viruses in 11 days old chicken embryo in ovo showed that embryo died 5 days post inoculated whereas macroscopic examination showed dwarfed embryo, hemorrhagic, and loss of feather.

Abstract

Training on making street lighting poles using light steel can be an effective solution in improving the quality of lighting in public areas. Light steel has several advantages, such as lighter weight, resistance to corrosion, and ease of installation compared to conventional materials such as concrete or wood. The implementation of training activities on making street lighting poles using light steel was carried out on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at the Welding and Plumbing Workshop, Banjarmasin State Polytechnic. It is hoped that this training can contribute to community empowerment, where participants can apply the skills they have acquired to open small businesses in the manufacture and installation of lighting poles
