Abstract

In business, particularly in Indonesia, the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) concepts has become essential. CSR disclosure is often regarded as a strategy to enhance a company's brand and meet societal expectations, despite ongoing debates about its applicability and efficacy. Nevertheless, Indonesian businesses have yet to fully embrace investments that prioritize sustainable financial principles and ecologically beneficial characteristics. The efficacy of a company's climate change strategy is contingent upon the participation of the CSR committee, and the successful execution of climate change management methods is largely dependent on CSR spending. However, differences exist between the effects of family and managerial ownership on business operations. This study examines the connections between CSR disclosure, the function of CSR committees, CSR spending, managerial and family ownership, and the performance of Indonesian firms. The research's conclusions offer significant insights for businesses in terms of performance enhancement and meeting stakeholder expectations

Abstract

Pelaku usaha gula semut yang berlokasi di Desa Dasan Geria Kecamatan Lingsar Kabupaten Lombok Barat masih melakukan kegiatan pemasaran produknya terbatas pada pasar lokal yang berakibat kepada rendahnya tingkat penjualan produk. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, pelaku usaha perlu mempertimbangkan strategi pemasaran yang tepat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan strategi pemasaran produk gula semut di Desa Dasan Geria Kecamatan Lingsar Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Kantor Desa Dasan Geria dengan peserta yang terlibat dalam kegiatan ini sebanyak 32 peserta. Metode yang digunakan adalah partisipatif interaktif yang mendorong peserta untuk terlibat secara aktif dan langsung. Rangkaian kegiatan pengabdian ini secara umum dibagi menjadi tiga tahapan, dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan hingga evaluasi. Pada kegiatan perencanaan tim melakukan perancangan alur kegiatan. Kegiatan pelaksanaan berupa pemaparan materi oleh tim dan kegiatan evaluasi dilakukan dengan proses tanya jawab antara pemateri dan peserta. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman pelaku usaha terhadap strategi pemasaran produk gula semut mengalami peningkatan yang ditunjukkan melalui respon dan antusias peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan sosialisasi ini. Kegiatan pengabdian juga berlangsung lancar tanpa adanya kendala berarti.

Abstract

Salah satu potensi sektor pertanian di Desa Sembalun adalah bawang putih, daun bawang, bawang merah, kentang, tomat, dan wortel, dan tanaman strawberry serta kopi. Akan tetapi, dari banyaknya potensi pertanian tersebut, banyak masyarakat Desa Sembalun tidak terlalu memperhatikan berbagai tanaman jenis herbal dan media yang digunakan. Media yang digunakan oleh masyarakat Desa Sembalun masih sangat tradisional dan lokal. Sehingga, perlu ada inovasi dan pengenalan untuk menggunakan media yang berkonsep eco-green serta memanfaatkan potensi pertanian yang ada di Desa Sembalun. Teknik budidaya eco-green penting untuk diperkenalkan kepada masyarakat, karena memiliki nilai manfaat untuk kesehatan dan nilai jual yang cukup tinggi serta dapat memanfaatkan sampah plastik seperti botol plastik dan sisa-sisa kemasan plastik .Tanaman herbal Lemon balm dan peppermint dengan kandungan gizi dan senyawa yang terdapat di dalamnya dapat memberikan manfaat yang cukup besar bagi Kesehatan diantaranya lemon balm diketahui memiliki khasiat sebagai anti inflamasi di dalam tubuh. senyawa aktif dalam daun peppermint diketahui mampu membuat otot-otot tubuh lebih relaks, sehingga rasa nyeri akibat menstruasi bisa mereda. Oleh karenanya, teh lemon balm dan pepeermint merupakan produk utama kami yang mengedepankan konsep eco-green sebagai pengembangan pertanian yang maju dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Maize (Zea mays L.) is the main food crop in Indonesia after rice, but is vulnerable to attack by plant pests (OPT), including Spodoptera frugiperda, an invasive insect that attacks corn plants. This research aims to observe the population, level of attack and characteristics of the pest of S. frugiperda in West Lombok Regency. Based on observations, the eggs of this pest are brownish white, round in shape, and have an average size of 0.33 mm × 0.47 mm. The male pupa is reddish brown with dimensions of 14.25 mm × 4.32 mm, while the female pupa is larger, namely 17.53 mm × 5.13 mm. Larvae are found in various instars (2-6) with sizes from 1.53 mm to 35.16 mm, and colors varying from light green to dark brown. Male imagos are smaller than females, with a length of 12.45 mm and a wingspan of 27.73 mm, while female imagos have a size of 14.38 mm and a wingspan of 31.47 mm. The highest population was found at location 3 with 123 larvae, while the lowest population was at location 13 with 1 larva. The highest attack rate occurred at location 7 (50%) and the lowest at location 11 (5%). The observation method includes assessing the level of damage based on the attack intensity score (0–4). This research proposes further studies to understand the distribution and control mechanisms of S. frugiperda in order to minimize its impact on corn cultivation, especially in Nusa Tenggara Barat, Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of several concentrations of botanical pestisides from virginia tobacco stem waste to the leaf-sucking pests (Thrips palmi) on potato plants. This exteriment was carried out from August to November 2020 in Sembalun Bumbung Village, Sembalun District, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. The method use in this study is an experimental method with field experiments and the design used is a Rendomized Block Design (RBD) with 6 treatments, P0 (control), P1 (abamectin), P2 (botanical pesticide of Virginia tobacco stem waste 2 ml/L), P3 (botanical pesticide of Virginia tobacco stem waste 4 ml/L), P4 (botanical pesticide of Virginia tobacco stem waste 6 ml/L) and P5 (botanical pesticide of Virginia tobacco stem waste 8 ml/L). each treatment had 3 replications so that 18 experimental plots were obtained. The result showed that the concentration of Virginia tobacco stem pesticide was more effective in controlling the populations of Thrips palmi than other Virginia tobacco stem pesticide concetrations. However, the Virginia tobacco stem waste botanical pesticide was not effective on controlling the intensity of T. palmi

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of vegetable pesticides from virginia tobacco stem waste on the diversity of the koksi beetle predators on potato plants. The method used is an experimental method with direct experiments in the field. The experimental design used was a randomized block design (RAK) with 6 treatments, namely P0 (control), P1 (abamectin), P2 (vegetable insecticide of Virginia tobacco stem waste 2 ml/l), P3 (vegetable insecticide of Virginia tobacco stem waste 4 ml/l). l), P4 (vegetable insecticide of Virginia tobacco stem waste 6 ml/l), and P5 (vegetable insecticide of Virginia tobacco stem waste 8 ml/l). This research was conducted in Sembalun Bumbung Village, Sembalun District, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara from August 2020 to November 2020. The results showed that treatment at the concentration of P5 (vegetable pesticide from virginia tobacco stem waste 8 ml/l) showed a suppression value. The diversity and abundance index of the predators of the koksi beetle were the most influential compared to the treatment of several concentrations of other vegetable pesticides, while the application of botanical pesticides with various concentrations was not able to suppress the predatory population of the koksi beetle in the species Cheliomenes sexmaculata and Coccinella transveralis and was able to suppress the population of Coleophora inaqualis. Cheilomenes sexmaculata species has the highest population compared to the other 2 species.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the application of fermented goat manure with Streptomyces sp. bioactivator can control purple blotch (Alternaria porri) and top dieback (Phytophthora porri) diseases in garlic plants (Allium sativum L). The research was conducted at the Microbiology Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Mataram, and on a farmer's paddy field located in Sembalun Bumbung Village, East Lombok Regency. The study was carried out from May to November 2024. The experimental design used in this study was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of six treatments: P0 (no fertilizer), P1 (goat manure without bioactivator), P2 (goat manure + SH isolate), P3 (goat manure + BSi isolate), P4 (goat manure + BSc isolate), and P5 (goat manure + SH isolate + liquid SH). Each treatment was repeated six times, resulting in 36 experimental units/plots. The data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) at a 5% significance level, followed by the Honest Significant Difference (HSD) test at a 5% significance level. The results showed that applying fermented goat manure with Streptomyces sp. bioactivator affected the growth of garlic plants but did not affect the yield of garlic plants (Allium sativum L). The treatment with goat manure + BSi isolate (P3) showed the highest value in plant growth, while the treatment with goat manure + SH isolate + liquid SH (P5) showed the highest yield. Meanwhile, the incidence of purple blotch disease was not affected by the application of fermented goat manure with Streptomyces sp., but it successfully reduced the incidence of top dieback disease in garlic plants.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penggunaan lapisan/pembungkus yang dimodifikasi dengan khitosan tulang dalam sotong pada lempuk durian dalam rangka memperpanjang masa konsumsi dan mempertahankan rasa, aroma, dan teksturnya. Konsentrasi khitosan berkisar dari 1-3% (w/v) dilarutkan dalam asam asetat 1 (v/v)%. Parameter yang diukur pada penelitian ini adalah : a. Perubahan berat masing-masing lempuk selama masa penelitian. b. Perubahan tekstur, aroma, edibilitas, pengamatan pertumbuhan jamur dan mikrobia secara visual pada awal dan akhir masa penelitian. Data perubahan berat lempuk dianalisis secara kuantitatif, sedang data perubahan tekstur dan pertumbuhan jamur dideskripsikan secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan perlakuan konsentrasi khitosan dan jenis pembungkus lempuk dan waktu penyimpanan berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap pengurangan berat lempuk durian. Penurunan berat lempuk tertinggi pada lempuk pada semua yang tidak dibungkus, baik yang tanpa perlakuan khitosan maupun yang perlakuan khitosan. Persentase tertinggi penurunan berat lempuk terdapat pada lempuk yang tidak dibungkussampai mencapai 13,19%, diikuti oleh lempuk berbungkus kertas, dan kain kasa sebesar 9,61% , dan 88,8% secara berurutan. Lempuk yang diperlakukan dengan larutan khitosan dengan variasi konsentrasi menunjukkan beda nyata dengan lempuk yang tidak diperlakukan, walaupun antar konsentrasi khitosan sendiri tidak menunjukkan ada perbedaan yang signifikan. Secara visual terjadi penurunan tekstur, pertumbuhan jamur, dan aroma lempuk bersamaan dengan semakin lamanya waktu penyimpanan yang pada akhirnya menurunkan tingkat edibiltas lempuk durian.

Abstract

ABSTRAKCorporate governance yang efektif dapat memberikan dampak dalam peningkatan kinerja serta memperoleh profitabilitas secara maksimal sedangkan. Green innovation mampu mendorong perkembangan ekonomi, lingkungan, dan masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian yaitu menganalisis pengaruh faktor-faktor corporate governance yang memengaruhi kinerja perusahaan dengan menggunakan green innovation sebagai mediasi. Faktor corporate governance yang diteliti terdiri dari board size, independent commissioners, dan ownership concentration. Penelitian ini menggunakan 113 perusahaan sektor manufaktur yang terdaftar pada Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama 2018 sampai dengan 2022 dengan menggunakan data sekunder. Metode analisis yang diterapkan yaitu regresi panel dan didukung oleh aplikasi Eviews. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel independent commissioners berpengaruh secara positif terhadap firm performance, akan tetapi variabel board size, ownership concentration, dan green innovation tidak memengaruhi firm performance. Selain itu, hasil pengujian mediasi menunjukkan bahwa green innovation tidak dapat memediasi hubungan board size, independent commissioners, dan ownership concentration dengan firm performance.Kata Kunci: Corporate Governance, Green Innovation, Perusahaan manufakturABSTRACTEffective corporate governance can have an impact on improving performance and obtaining maximum profitability while green innovation can encourage economic, environmental and community development.  This research aims to investigate the mediation role of green innovation in the association between corporate governance and company performance. Corporate governance aspects under scrutiny include board size, independent commissioners, and ownership concentration. The study uses data from 113 manufacturing sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2018 to 2022 using secondary data. The analysis method applied is panel regression supported by the Eviews application. The research findings indicate that the independent commissioners variable positively affects firm performance, whereas board size, ownership concentration, and green innovation do not affect firm performance. Additionally, the results of the mediation test show that green innovation cannot mediate the relationship between board size, independent commissioners, and ownership concentration with firm performance.Keywords: Corporate Governance, Green Innovation, Manufacturing companies

Abstract

The effect of administering total cotyledon protein extract from kepayang seeds (Pangium edule Reinw) on cow spermatozoa (Bos taurus) was conducted from March - April 2015, in the Basic Science laboratory of biology, FMIPA UNIB and the biology garden of FKIP UNIB. The purpose of this study was to explain the effect of administering total cotyledon protein extract from kepayang seeds on the agglomeration of cow spermatozoa. The steps of this study were the total cotyledon protein of kepayang seeds extracted, protein precipitation, determination of total cotyledon protein content of kepayang seeds (P. edule), and treatment of cow spermatozoa agglomeration. The analysis used was ANOVA with 10 treatments and 3 repetitions. Based on the results of data analysis, the sediment at 50% ammonium sulfate gave an average coagulation time of bovine spermatozoa of 132 seconds with a total protein content of 56.15 mg/mL.
