Abstract

This study aims to analyze the prohibition of carrion for consumption through a scientific approach. A comprehensive understanding of this is expected to be an important foothold for Muslims to adhere to religious principles. The research method uses qualitative with a literature study approach. Data were collected from various credible sources such as journals, books, books of turats, and others. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman framework which consists of three steps; 1) data display, 2) data reduction, and 3) conclusion. The results showed: 1) animals that have become carcasses are not 100% the same as the conditions when they were alive; 2) the phagocytosis process that plays a role in maintaining the leukocyte white blood cell system can stop in dead animals and eventually trigger the acceleration of the development of microbes in the body; 3) Microflora contained in carcasses include Salmonella, Campylobacter Jejuni, Listeria Monocytogenes and Escherichia Coli. These microbes are harmful to human health as they can cause diseases such as diarrhea, dysentery, and other clinical infections such as meningitis.

Abstract

Abstract The educational issue of learning to read Qur'an is currently growing. The number of students who still cannot read Qur'an following the rules is the main problem. This study describes the learning process of reading Qur'an at Darul Hikam Elementary School Bandung. A qualitative approach with case study method was used in this research. Data were obtained through observation, interview, and document study. The results of the data were processed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The research findings show that the learning process of reading Qur'an at Darul Hikam Elementary School used the Teacher-Centered Learning pattern and implemented various learning methods at each grade level. The learning results show that students can read Qur'an in the "Good" category. Therefore, designing the process of learning to read Qur’an in private and public schools is needed to be developed so that it has various learning processes and improves students' abilities.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education in the context of formal education in Indonesia has been part of the national education system since the era of independence. Islamic Religious Education is one of the important elements in education in order to achieve the goals of national education as stated in Law no. 20 of 2003. In the process, religious education obtained by a student will not be separated from three educational environments, namely religious education in the family, at school, and in the community. Researchers try to capture the phenomenon of Islamic Religious Education for Students in Families, Schools, and Communities to be able to answer whether there is meaning obtained by students by utilizing these three educational environments, especially in Islamic Religious Education. Basically, this research is intended to find out the extent to which students get Islamic Religious Education in these three environments and find out whether students can take meaning in learning Islamic Religious Education. The research approach used is qualitative with phenomenological method. In accordance with the approach, that the end of this research will only lead to the positivity paradigm. As John Creswell explains that the phenomenological approach means letting the symptoms that are realized reveal themselves. Data or information acquisition was carried out on high school students in Bandung City. The results showed that students' experiences in receiving Islamic Religious Education in families, schools, and communities were different. Religious education in the family is more emphasized on moral and ethical values, while at school it is more focused on understanding the teachings of Islam. Meanwhile, in the community, students' experiences are more likely to be influenced by the surrounding environment which does not always support a correct understanding of Islam.

Abstract

The problem solving method in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning aims to increase students’ understanding of problems, develop skills in finding creative solutions, and improve critical thinking abilities. This research aims to determine the application of learning using the Problem Solving method in PAI subjects at SMPN 15 Bandung. By using a qualitative descriptive design, researchers as key instruments used observation, interviews and documentation in collecting research data. To ensure the validity of the data, researchers used triangulation. The results of the research show that SMPN 15 Bandung has implemented a learning process using problem solving methods in PAI subjects. This is based on the fact that every student must dare to express an opinion and start thinking critically. The stages of applying problem solving methods in PAI learning include learning design, learning steps, and learning evaluation. Teachers have an important role in preparing the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and carrying out learning steps, from observing to communicating. Learning evaluation is carried out through authentic assessments that cover three domains: cognitive, affective and psychomotor.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the concept of Ibn Arabi's wahdatul wujud as a Muslim scientist so that it can become a reference in the world of education to shape the character of students. Then the method used in this research is qualitative with a literature study approach, to describe the results of Ibn Arabi's extraordinary thoughts as a guide in character education, data collection techniques using data collection taken from books, journals and writings related to the research. Next, the data that has been collected is analyzed using text content in the form of words, images, symbols, ideas and themes in the form of messages in SDN Kertamukti III. The research results show that the concept of wahdatul wujud is very helpful in shaping students' character, such as awareness of unity, tolerance and acceptance, personality development, involvement in goodness and development of spiritual awareness. With the concept of wadatul wujud which provides an understanding that the relationship between humans and God is a unity that cannot be separated. Therefore, it is important for teachers to provide the concept of wahdatu wujud in education so that students understand the meaning of existence as a creature and reality in the world which is a manifestation of God Almighty.

Abstract

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) is a form of sexual deviation that is more than adultery and sexual immorality. The presence of LGBT people in Indonesia is increasing in quantity, although the exact number is not known. The circulation of various LGBT content on social media is increasing, for example in films and various kinds of stories. This research aims to explore how much influence reading and watching LGBT content has on changes in sexual orientation. The research results show that there is an influence of reading and watching on sexual orientation. This can be seen from the results of the questionnaire, there were 3 out of 40 respondents who stated that they liked people of the same sex as a result of the influence of the reading/shows that contained LGBT elements that they read. Abstract

Al-Quran as an element of PAI and Budi Pekerti in the Merdeka Curriculum has continuous learning outcomes and teaching materials from primary to secondary education levels. However, the reality on the ground shows that the level of Quran literacy among students in Indonesia is still low. To overcome this, it is necessary to map based on Quran literacy components such as reading according to tajweed, writing, memorizing and interpreting. This is the purpose of this study to ensure that the Learning Outcomes and Teaching Materials for PAI and Budi Pekerti in the Merdeka Curriculum are in accordance with the development of students and the concept of Islamic teachings about the Quran. This research is a qualitative research with content analysis method. The data sources are curriculum documents and PAI and Budi Pekerti textbooks for the Merdeka Curriculum version, which are analyzed through a document study approach. The results of the study provide findings in the form of mapping learning outcomes and teaching materials for PAI and Budi Pekerti elements of the Al-Quran in the Merdeka Curriculum on the Al-Quran literacy component from primary to secondary education levels.

Abstract

Kurangnya kepedulian sosial dalam masyarakat dapat mengakibatkan konsekuensi serius, termasuk isolasi sosial, yang mencerminkan kegagalan kolektif dalam menyediakan jaringan dukungan yang memadai bagi individu-individu rentan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis program-program yang diselenggarakan oleh sebuah masjid, dengan fokus pada inisiatif yang berkaitan dengan peningkatan kepedulian sosial. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah pengurus masjid, berbagai kegiatan masjid, dan dokumen terkait kegiatan masjid. Menggunakan metode deskriptif dan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini menggali fenomena sosial melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis melalui teknik reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program-program seperti layanan kesehatan, bantuan sosial dan kemanusiaan, serta pemberian kesempatan umrah untuk petugas masjid, secara signifikan mampu meningkatkan kesadaran sosial dalam masyarakat. Hasil penelitian ini berimplikasi pada pentingnya pengurus masjid untuk memiliki beragam program sosial kemanusiaan selain program ibadah ritual.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the community-based mosque management across ethnicities at Masjid Lautze 2 in Bandung City, with a specific focus on the Chinese ethnic community. In the context of Indonesia, many mosques have experienced a narrowing of roles and functions, a lack of systematic management, and exclusivity in decision-making and administration, resulting in stagnation in operational programs. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study method to delve into this phenomenon. Data were obtained through observations, interviews, and documentation, involving key informants such as the Secretary of DKM Masjid Lautze 2, mosque officials, and mosque congregants. The findings of the research indicate that community-based mosque management across ethnicities has several significant benefits. Firstly, it allows for a better understanding of the needs and desires of the Chinese ethnic community and the surrounding society. Secondly, it strengthens social bonds between the mosque and a diverse ethnic community, creating an inclusive environment. Thirdly, it enables active contributions from various ethnicities in the mosque's development. Fourthly, it enriches the experience of diversity and religious life. This research contributes to understanding the importance of community-based mosque management across ethnicities in creating an inclusive environment and strengthening unity in religious life. These findings can serve as a guideline for other mosques to optimize their roles and functions in society, especially in the context of ethnic diversity in Indonesia.
