Abstract

AbstractEducation is a human effort to grow and develop physical and spiritual potential in accordance with the character values that exist in society. The character of life that grows is greatly influenced by the surrounding environment, especially the family environment. Every family has a different way of educating children, with the same goal of making children into good and civilized individuals. However, currently there are many phenomena of crime, criminal acts, immoral acts, corruption indicating the low character of citizens in general. Therefore, it is necessary to re-instill character education in families to improve the quality of individuals and society. Character education in the family can be carried out as early as possible slowly through teaching, motivating, modeling, getting used to, and enforcing punishment. The principles of Islamic character in the family that can be instilled are how children develop relationships with parents, relationships with older people, relationships with younger people, relationships with peers, and relationships with the opposite sex. In implementing character education, it must be adapted to the stages of growth and development of children, namely at early age as the formation stage, at adolescence as the development stage, at adulthood as the consolidation stage, and in old age as the wisdom stage.Keywords: Character Education, Family, Islamic Perspective

Abstract

Al-Qur'an is the word of Allah revealed to Muhammad SAW through the angel Gabriel with lafadz-lafadz in Arabic and got a reward for those who read it so that Muslims can be proficient in reading the Al-Qur'an. Still, increasing technology is not supported by improving the quality of Reciting Al-Qur'an. One of the Al-Qur'an learning methods that is used as a solution to overcome this problem is the Yanbu'a method. A practical and effective way that facilitates fluency in reading the Koran, while the formulation of this problem is the effectiveness of the Yanbu'a method in improving the reading quality of the Koran for Islamic boarding school students Ihyaul Ulum Gilang Babat. The study results can be seen from the average pretest score of 62.87 and posttest score of 78.60. so that the average increase value is 15.73. in KKM it increased completeness. Before the Yanbu'a method, there were 10 students with a percentage of 33.3%, while after Yanbu'a there were 24 students with completion criteria with a rate of 80%. It can be concluded that the Yanbu'a method proved effective in improving the quality of reading the Koran for students at the Ihyaul Ulum Gilang Babat Islamic Boarding School

Abstract

The online learning (distance learning) conducted by the teachers of MI As'adiyah Bontang for the subjects of Quran Hadith is by using Zoom Cloud Meeting media. The research problem formulated by the researcher is: "Is there an influence of using Zoom Cloud Meeting media on the improvement of learning results in the Quran Hadith during the Covid-19 pandemic for fourth-grade students of MI As'adiyah?" The purpose of this research is to determine whether there is an influence of using Zoom Cloud Meeting media on the improvement of learning results in the Quran Hadith during the Covid-19 pandemic for fourth-grade students of MI As'adiyah Bontang in the academic year 2020/2021. The research method used is quantitative research, and the data collection methods used by the researcher are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Product Moment formula. The research results show the value of X and the value of Y based on the students' learning result sheets, with the result of the calculated r = 0.421, which is greater than the tabled r = 0.349 at a 5% significance level. Thus, there is an influence of using Zoom Cloud Meeting media on the improvement of learning results in the Quran Hadith, as known through the questionnaires distributed to the students. The hypothesis in this research shows a significant influence of using Zoom Cloud Meeting media on the improvement of learning results in the Quran Hadith, with the calculated t value being greater than the tabled t value (calculated t value is 2.57 > tabled t value of 2.042), therefore it can be accepted. The conclusion of this research is that there is an influence of using Zoom Cloud Meeting media on the improvement of learning results in the Quran Hadith during the Covid-19 pandemic for fourth-grade students of MI As'adiyah Bontang.

Abstract

Abstract In this millennium era, storytelling activities are rarely done by parents to children because storytelling culture has been considered old-fashioned. Instead, children prefer to play games or cellphones rather than reading. Character building in early childhood has an important role in shaping personality and morals in the future. One effective and fun method in this process is through storytelling. This research method is literature study research and includes descriptive qualitative research. The data source of this research is data obtained from written sources using content analysis. The results of this study show that character building through fairy tales in early childhood is an effective and fun method to instill moral and ethical values. In the process of storytelling, the use of expression, voice intonation, and props can increase children's understanding of the moral message conveyed. This research also highlights strategies and techniques for delivering fairy tales that are appropriate to the stages of child development, ranging from toddler age to early elementary school. With a consistent and creative approach, fairy tales become an effective tool in shaping children's character as a whole. Keywords: Character Building, Fairy Tales, Early Childhood

Abstract

Cultural festivals, often called carnivals, events, or celebrations, have become prominent showcases across Indonesia, particularly in the post-New Order period. These festivals serve two main objectives: promoting tourism and reviving regionalism as well as traditional identities in response to past centralization policies. This study examines the Malang Flower Carnival (MFC) in Malang City, East Java, which has been a key feature of the city's cultural landscape since 2010. In 2022, the MFC deviated from its tradition by participating in the Jogja Fashion Carnival in Yogyakarta instead of holding its own event in Malang. This shift provides a unique opportunity to analyze how Malang's cultural identity is represented to an audience in another city. The findings suggest that while the MFC captivated visitors with its elaborate costumes, it struggled to convey the intended narrative of Malang's cultural identity. This difficulty stems from the complexity of representing Malang's multiple identities—rooted in its historical legacy, contemporary identity as the "City of Flowers," and broader regional narratives. The themes of bravery and heroism, although recognized, were often disconnected from Malang's broader historical and cultural context

Abstract

Poor reading comprehension is still a significant issue, particularly for primary school pupils. To enhance student literacy, we need innovative approaches that leverage scientific and technological advancements. The goal of this project is to create and manufacture e-comic goods as a scientific and science-related learning innovation. This research approach makes use of Borg & Gall development research (R&D), whose phases align with the requirements of product development. Experts' and students' tests of the product's viability have shown encouraging findings. The findings of the validation of e-comic products based on HOTS and character education show that they are extremely practicable to use, with media experts indicating 94.00% feasibility and material experts indicating 89.00%. Eighty-five percent of teacher practitioners completed the evaluation. 92.00% was the outcome of the student answer. According to this research, e-comics that are based on HOTS and character education are highly practical and efficient to use, which means that they may be developed as learning innovations in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh investment opportunity set (IOS) terhadap kualitas laba perusahaan dengan konservatisme sebagai variabel mediasi pada Perusahaan sektor transportasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada tahun 2021 – 2023. Sampel pada penelitiain ini berjumlah 33 laporan keuangan dari 11 perusahaan dalam pengamatan 3 tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan metode kuantitatif. Hasil penelitiain ini menunjukkan bahwa Investment Opportunity Set (IOS) berpengaruh positif terhadap Kualitas Laba. Investment Opportunity Set (IOS) tidak berpengaruh terhadap konservaitisme dan Konservaitisme tidak berpengaruh pada kualitas laba. Selain itu, Konservatisme tidak mampu memediasi pengaruh Investment Opportunity Set (IOS) terhadap Kualitas Laba di perusahaan Transportasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI).

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of citizenship education in forming character based on the values ​​of Pancasila, tolerance and love of the country in the millennial generation. In this research method used is a literature review with a descriptive-analytical approach to various literature, journals and related data. The results of this research show that it turns out that the role of citizenship education in forming the character of millennial generation children is very important for life because citizenship education is not only a subject but also used as a benchmark for living everyday life, because it contains the means to shape character. positive through strengthening Pancasila values, character and nationality. Citizenship education must continue to be taught in schools and universities because Citizenship Education has a significant contribution in building the character of the millennial generation so that they become individuals with noble character, responsibility and a strong sense of nationality. Citizenship education is the key in equipping the younger generation to face global challenges without losing national identity. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Pendidikan kewarganegaraan dalam membentuk karakter yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai Pancasila, toleransi dan cinta tanah air pada generasi milenial. Pada metode penelitian ini yang digunakan adalah kajian pustaka dengan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis terhadap berbagai literatur, jurnal dan data terkait. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ternyata peran pendidikan kewarganegaraan dalam pembentukan karakter pada anak generasi milenial itu sangatlah penting bagi kehidupan karena pendidikan kewarganegaraan ini tidak hanya sebagai mata pelajaran saja tetapi juga dijadikan sebagai patokan untuk menjalani kehidupan sehari-hari, karena di dalamnya terdapat sarana untuk membentuk karakter positif melalui penguatan nilai-nilai Pancasila, budi pekerti dan kebangsaan. Pendidikan kewarganegaraan harus tetap diajarkan pada sekolah-sekolah dan juga perguruan tinggi karena Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan memiliki kontribusi signifikan dalam membangun karakter generasi milenial agar menjadi individu yang berakhlak mulia, bertanggung jawab, dan memiliki rasa kebangsaan yang kuat. Pendidikan kewarganegaraan menjadi kunci dalam membekali generasi muda menghadapi tantangan global tanpa kehilangan jati diri bangsa.

Abstract

Researchers discovered an activity that is rarely found in other TK/RA institutions. This activity is Toilet Training learning which is supported by the role of an educator with the term "Ustadzah Thaharah" so that through this activity students at RA institutions can get used to maintaining personal hygiene and the surrounding environment. This research aims to describe the role of ustadzah thaharah in toilet training lessons to familiarize students with maintaining cleanliness at KB-RA Perwanida Ketintang Surabaya. Apart from that, the researcher wants to describe the impact of toilet training learning on group A students at KB-RA Perwanida Ketintang Surabaya. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The research subjects consisted of ustadzah thaharah, and several group A students at RA Perwanida Ketintang Surabaya. Data collection in this research used interview, observation and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Through learning about toilet training, group A children can implement clean and healthy living habits as well as cleanliness of the surrounding environment. Educate students about toilet etiquette, train students' ability to urinate, and teach students to get used to keeping themselves and their surroundings clean. And students are able to resolve the urge to defecate independently, and are able to implement clean and healthy living behavior and cleanliness of the surrounding environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem monitoring gempa berbasis Arduino Uno di Pulau Bawean, yang rawan terhadap aktivitas tektonik di Laut Jawa. Menggunakan sensor getar SW-420, alat ini mampu mendeteksi getaran tanah akibat gempa dan memberikan peringatan dini melalui buzzer ketika aktivitas seismik mencapai ambang batas tertentu. Data yang diperoleh dari sensor dikendalikan oleh mikrokontroler Arduino Uno, kemudian ditampilkan pada layar LCD untuk memudahkan analisis dan pemantauan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dan melibatkan beberapa tahapan desain perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa alat ini dapat memberikan informasi yang akurat dan responsif mengenai frekuensi serta amplitudo getaran. Dengan potensi pengembangan lebih lanjut, sistem ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi praktis untuk memitigasi risiko bencana di wilayah-wilayah rawan gempa seperti Pulau Bawean.Kata Kunci: Sistem monitoring gempa, Arduino Uno, sensor getar SW-420, Pulau BaweanThis research aims to develop an Arduino Uno-based earthquake monitoring system on Bawean Island, which is prone to tectonic activity in the Java Sea. Using the SW-420 vibration sensor, this tool is able to detect ground vibrations due to earthquakes and provide early warning via buzzer when seismic activity reaches a certain threshold. The data obtained from the sensor is controlled by the Arduino Uno microcontroller, then displayed on the LCD screen to facilitate analysis and monitoring. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method and involves several stages of hardware and software design. Simulation results show that this tool can provide accurate and responsive information regarding vibration frequency and amplitude. With the potential for further development, it is hoped that this system can become a practical solution for mitigating disaster risk in earthquake-prone areas such as Bawean Island.Keywords: Earthquake monitoring system, Arduino Uno, SW-420 vibration sensor, Bawean Island
