Abstract

Kemampuan literasi matematis siswa dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini dalam soal pisa-like ditinjau dari gaya berfikir siswa SMP Warga Surakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang menghasilkan data deskriptif. Dalam penelitian ini dimulai dengan menentukan subjek penelitian dengan menggunakan angket gaya berfikir, diberikan soal literasi matematis PISA-like, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan literasi matematis siswa ; 1) Siswa sekuensial kongkret menggunakan keterampilan dan pengetahuan dengan Langkah-langkah jelas dalam menyelesaikan soal PISA-Like; 2) Siswa sekuensial abstrak memikirkan konsep dengan baik serta menganalisis informasi secara rasional; 3) Siswa acak kongret banyak melakukan kesalahan karena mencoba-coba mengerjakan sehingga tidak sesuai konsep; 4) Siswa acak abstrak menggunakan situasi perasaaan saat mengerjakan soal PISA-Like)

Abstract

The emergence of the 21st century requires the younger generation to be able to face increasingly fierce global competition. One of the skills needed by the younger generation in this century is mathematical literacy. This ability needs to be improved in learning at school. One important factor that must be considered in learning mathematics literacy is gender differences. Therefore, this study aims to identify students' literacy abilities and find out the differences between male and female students at Madiun State Middle School. This research uses a quantitative approach in the form of a comparative study. The research sample of 336 students was analyzed using descriptive analysis and the Mann-Whitney test. The results of the study concluded that the ability of female students’ mathematical literacy was much higher than that of male students. Female students excel in terms of representation, modeling, mathematical communication, and problem posing and solving skills. Meanwhile, male students excel in terms of using math symbols and mathematical thinking and reasoning.

Abstract

Effect of job training and career development on job satisfaction and its implications for productivity. This type of research uses a quantitative type. The number of samples is 85 employees who work in Sukahurip Village. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data, namely the distribution of questionnaires and through Google forms to Sukahurip Village Officials. The research uses the Lisrel data processing application version 8.8. The results of this study are job training has no effect on job satisfaction, career development has no effect on job satisfaction, job training has no effect on productivity, career development has an effect on productivity, job satisfaction has no effect on productivity, career development and job training simultaneously affect job satisfaction. Job satisfaction, job training, and career development simultaneously affect productivity. JEL Classification: M21, O15, O17

Abstract

One of the biomass that can be used for making biogas is fish waste. Based on the research, fish waste has a small c / n ratio so it requires mixing with other organic materials that have a higher c / n ratio. The addition of water hyacinth and cow dung will increase the c / n ratio in the anaerobic process to make biogas. The aim of this research is to analyze the process anaerobically of biogas formation from a mixture of fish waste, cow dung, and water hyacinth. Biogas is made with a variation composition of cow dung (D1), a mixture of cow dung, water hyacinth, and fish waste (D2), and a mixture of cow dung and fish waste (D3).) The Variation ratio of each composition is 1: 0: 0; 5: 1: 1 and 2: 0: 1. The results are the value of volatile solid and total solid for each composition of D1, D2, D3 was 33,600 mg / L, 34,800 mg / L, 33,000 mg / L. Value of Total Solid D1, D2, D3 are 121,800 mg / L, 146,200 mg / L, 174,600 mg / L. Fermentation process lasts for 1 month at a temperature 25oC-33oC and pH 6-7. The rates of degradation of organic compounds for D1, D2, D3 are 0.0058/day; 0.0439/day and 0.0052/day.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of mathematics modules based on problem-based learning to improve the reasoning ability of eighth grade students at Junior High School (SMPN) 2 Jumapolo. Reasoning ability is one of the goals of mathematics education, the problem is that the reasoning ability of eighth grade students in Indonesia, including at SMPN 2 Jumapolo, is still relatively low. The development of mathematics modules based on problem-based learning is expected to be a solution to overcome these problems. In this study, the mathematics module based on problem-based learning was tested on thirty eighth grade students at SMPN 2 Jumapolo. This research is quasi-experimental research with One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Samples were taken by cluster random sampling. Students are given a pretest to determine the students’ initial reasoning ability. The students were given treatment in the form of learning by using a mathematics module based on problem-based learning. After that, students were given a post-test to measure the students’ final reasoning ability. The data collection technique used in this study was a test of reasoning ability. The data analysis technique used was the paired t-test. Based on the results of the paired t-test, it was found that the students’ final reasoning ability was better than students’ initial reasoning ability. The students’ reasoning ability increased by 52.80 percent. This shows that the mathematics module based on problem-based learning was effective in improving the reasoning ability of grade eight students.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pembelajaran matematika setelah dilakukan pengembangan media game interaktif bilingual berbasis pendidikan karakter pada siswa kelas XII IPS 4 SMAN I EX RSBI Karanganyar. Pengembangan media dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat peningkatan penguasaan konsep materi siswa yang ditinjau dari kemampuan kognitif dan karakter siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek siswa kelas XII IPS 4 SMAN 1 EX RSBI Karangayar.  Dibuat skenario dalam setiap siklus dengan tiga kali pertemuan dengan terlebih dahulu dilakukan pengukuran terhadap kemampuan kognitif dan karakter pada masa pra-siklus. Tiap pertemuan pada masing-masing siklus dilakukan observasi terhadap penguasaan konsep yang diukur dari kemampuan kognitif siswa dan karakter siswa. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas pada kelas XII IPS 4 SMAN 1 Karanganyar adalah sebagai berikut 1) Pembelajaran matematika pada siswa kelas X SMAN I EX RSBI Karanganyar setelah dilakukan pengembangan media game interaktif bilingual berbasis pendidikan karakter pada pembelajaran Matapelajaran matematika berjalan dengan baik dan lancar. Salah satu indikasi dari terjadinya peningkatan penguasaan konsep materi siswa yang diukur dari kemampuan kognitif siswa, rerata prestasi siswa pada pra-siklus sebesar 53,03, meningkat pada siklus 1 sebesar 82,09 dan kembali meningkat pada siklus 2 sebesar 82,94. 2) Karakter siswa yang diukur antara lain religius, jujur, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat/ komunikatif, senang membaca, peduli sosial, peduli lingkungan, tanggung jawab. Terjadi peningkatan kriteria karakter siswa. Jika pada pra-siklus kriteria karakter siswa cukup baik maka pada siklus 1 dan 2 meningkat menjadi baik.Kata Kunci    : bilingual, game, interaktif, karakter  ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study to investigate the learning of mathematics after the development of interactive gaming media bilingual character education based on class XII students of SMAN I EX IPS 4 Karanganyar RSBI. Media development was conducted to determine whether there is a material increase student mastery of concepts in terms of students' cognitive abilities and also the students character. This research is action class with the subjects are students in the class XII IPS 4 of SMAN 1 EX RSBI Karangayar. Scenarios created in each cycle with three meetings with prior measurements on cognitive abilities and character in pre-cycle. Each meeting of each cycle was the observation of the measured concept of astery students' cognitive abilities and character of student. Action research results on class XII IPS 4 SMAN 1 Karanganyar are as follows 1) Learning mathematics in class X SMAN I EX RSBI Karanganyar after the development of interactive gaming media bilingual education based on learning character mathematics lesson goes well and smoothly. One indication of the increasing student mastery of the material being measured concept of cognitive abilities of students, the average achievement of students in pre-cycle was 53,03, an increase in cycle 1 at 82,09 and its increased again in cycle 2 is 82,94. 2) The character of students measured which are religious, honest, disciplined, work hard, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, recognize excellence, friendship / communicative, happy reading, social care, care for the environment, responsibility. There are an increase in students' character criteria. If the pre-cycle criteria quite well the character of students in cycle 1 and 2 increased to well.Keywords      :  bilingual, character, games, interactive

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Work Life Balance, Non-physical Work Environment, and Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance at PT Yamaha Music Manufacturing Indonesia, especially in the production department of research methods using quantitative approaches. The population used in this study was employees of PT Yamaha Music Manufacturing Indonesia in the production department as many as 133 samples. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data, namely by distributing questionnaires and through google forms to employees of PT Yamaha Music Manufacturing Indonesia. The analysis technique in this study used the Lisrel 8.8 application. The results of this study are (1) Work Life Balance does not affect job satisfaction, (2) Non-physical Work Environment affects Job Satisfaction, (3) Work Life Balance and Nonphysical Work Environment simultaneously affect Job Satisfaction, (4) Work Life Balance does not affect Employee Performance, (5) Non-physical Work Environment affects Employee Performance, (6) Job Satisfaction affects Employee Performance, and (7) Work Life Balance, Non-physical Work Environment and Job Satisfaction simultaneously have no effect on Employee Performance.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah melakukan pendampingan identifikasi Mathematical Knowledge for Teaching (MKT) bahasan bilangan pecahan di MGMP Matematika Kecamatan Jatinom Klaten. Pendampingan dilaksanakan melalui rangkaian aktivitas: (i) pemaparan materi MKT oleh tim pengabdian masyarakat untuk penyamaan persepsi (ii) analisis materi dan penyampaian pengalaman mengajar pada materi pecahan oleh guru (iii) identifikasi MKT pada materi pecahan oleh guru didampingi tim pengabdian masyarakat (iv) evaluasi terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan oleh guru dan tim pengabdian masyarakat.  Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 27 Juli 2022 pada pukul 08.00 – 16.00 WIB bertempat di SMP Negeri 1 Karanganom, diikuti oleh 40 orang guru anggota MGMP Kecamatan Jatinom Klaten. Dari kegiatan ini diperoleh contoh identifikasi MKT pada materi pecahan. Dengan pengalaman tersebut diharapkan guru bisa mengidentifikasi secara mandiri MKT pada materi matematika SMP lainnya. Guru merasakan manfaat dari kegiatan ini untuk memperkuat kompetensi mereka, terutama pada kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi profesional. Hal ini terlihat dari saran yang di sampaikan guru pada akhir kegiatan untuk melanjutkan dengan kegiatan yang sifatnya lebih praktis seperti pembuatan alat peraga sekaligus praktek penggunaannya berdasarkan identifikasi MKT.

Abstract

In government institutions, especially the service department, employee job satisfaction is very important since it will affect the service of government employees to people who need services. This research aims to determine the effect of workload and organizational climate on job satisfaction which is mediated by burnout. This research was carried out at the sub-district office in Bekasi district, with the objects being the employees who worked there. The research results show that workload and organizational climate partially influence burnout. Simultaneously, they both also influence burnout. The workload partially does not affect job satisfaction, while the organizational climate does. Burnout does not partially affect job satisfaction, but simultaneously with workload and organizational climate, it can influence job satisfaction. In this research, burnout only mediates workload on job satisfaction but does not mediate organizational climate on job satisfaction.

Abstract

Kecamatan Nusawungu tepatnya di desa Banjarwaru merupakan sentra perajin anyaman bambu menjadi barang yang bervariasi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan rumah tangga. Hasil produk bambu ini penjualannya sudah sampai ke berbagai daerah bahkan ke manca negara. Seiring dengan permintaan pangsa pasar yang meningkat sehingga meningkat pula limbah bambu yang dihasilkan dari perajin bambu. Selama ini, limbah bambu tersebut belum digunakan untuk menjadi produk lain yang memiliki manfaat lebih baik, padahal limbah bambu masih memiliki potensi yang besar untuk menjadi produk yang lebih bernilai jual. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini memberikan solusi dalam pemanfaatan limbah bambu menjadi briket bambu yang minim asap polutan udara. Pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini melalui 3 tahapan yaitu tahapan survei lokasi dan identifikasi kebutuhan masyarakat, tahapan pelaksanaan program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat , tahapan pendampingan, monitoring dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu masyarakat mampu memahami pengelolaan limbah secara benar dan tepat yaitu menjadi produk briket.
