Abstract

The background to the problems faced in society, especially the Malang area, East Java, is that several natural disasters have occurred which have resulted in victims. Therefore, education is needed from an early age in order to minimize the number of victims of natural disasters. The aim of this research is to develop a disaster mitigation book for disaster education in elementary schools. The development of learning media in the form of disaster mitigation books is very necessary so that elementary school students have readiness, both knowledge and skills related to the threat of disasters around them and can behave well when a disaster occurs. The research method used is development research with the ADDIE model. Activities are carried out in the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. The research subjects involved were material experts and media experts for elementary school education. Data analysis uses percentage techniques and descriptions of research results. The research procedure starts from initial analysis, product design, product development, product application, and product evaluation. The research results show that the book developed received a positive response from validators. Based on the assessment of material expert validators, the product obtained results of 93.75%. Based on the assessment of media experts, the book product received a score of 98%. These results prove that the product developed can be categorized as a very valid product based on the results of expert validator assessments and can be said to be suitable for elementary school students.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis user experience terhadap Geo-Vulcan Metaverse sebagai ruang kelas virtual berbasis Spatial.io. Pengembangan Geo-Vulcan Metaverse memanfaatkan teknologi Spatial.io sebagai ruang kelas virtual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan bantuan User Experience Quistionaire untuk mengukur enam faktor yaitu daya tarik, kejelasan, efisiensi, ketepatan, stimulasi dan kebaruan. Terdapat lima tahapan penelitian yaitu, perencanaan dan pengembangan media, penyusunan skenario dan penugasan, pemilihan responden, pengukuran user experience, serta analisis hasil pengukuran. 36 siswa kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 2 Pare semester Genap 2024/2025 sebagai responden pada penelitian ini. Analisis data menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan memasukkan data ke dalam Data Analysis Tools yang tersedia pada website UEQ. Berdasarkan deskripsi data hasil pengukuran user experience Geo-Vulcan Metaverse sebagai ruang kelas virtual berbasis Spatial.io, perolehan nilai untuk daya tarik sebesar 1,92, kejelasan sebesar 1,68, efisiensi sebesar 1,55, ketepatan sebesar 1,58, stimulasi sebesar 2,13, dan kebaruan sebesar 1,75. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa perolehan nilai pada enam faktor tersebut telah memenuhi kriteria pada seluruh variabel yang diukur.

Abstract

Abstract: Digital learning has become an inseparable part of academic activities, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic era which has encouraged the widespread adoption of information and communication technology. This study aims to develop photogrammetry-based digital learning media for the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) program as a response to learning needs that demand flexibility, accessibility, and adaptation to the industrial revolution 4.0 and the new normal order. The Research and Development (RD) method is used in this development, with stages of planning, expert validation, and small and large group trials. The results of the validation show that the developed photogrammetry digital learning media is very feasible to use in learning, with an average feasibility percentage of 82.5 percent. Trials on students show that this media can increase interest in learning and facilitate understanding of photogrammetry material, especially in the Learning Technology course. The development of this media is expected to bridge the gap between theory and practice in photogrammetry learning and improve student competence in using digital learning technology. Abstrak: Pembelajaran digital telah menjadi bagian tak terpisahkan dari kegiatan akademik, terutama setelah era pandemi COVID-19 yang mendorong adopsi teknologi informasi dan komunikasi secara luas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital berbasis fotogrametri untuk program Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) sebagai respon terhadap kebutuhan belajar yang menuntut fleksibilitas, aksesibilitas, dan adaptasi terhadap revolusi industri 4.0 serta tatanan normal baru. Metode Research and Development (RD) digunakan dalam pengembangan ini, dengan tahapan perencanaan, validasi ahli, serta uji coba kelompok kecil dan besar. Hasil dari validasi menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran digital fotogrametri yang dikembangkan sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran, dengan rata-rata persentase kelayakan sebesar 82,5 persen. Uji coba pada mahasiswa menunjukkan bahwa media ini dapat meningkatkan minat belajar dan memudahkan pemahaman terhadap materi fotogrametri, khususnya dalam mata kuliah Teknologi Pembelajaran. Pengembangan media ini diharapkan dapat menjembatani kesenjangan antara teori dan praktik dalam pembelajaran fotogrametri serta meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa dalam penggunaan teknologi pembelajaran digital.

Abstract

One of the impacts of the rampant urbanization is the rising phenomenon of Urban Heat Island (UHI). This phenomenon occurs when the temperature in urban areas is higher than in the surrounding areas that are less developed (rural). The research was conducted in DKJ Jakarta Province, namely East Jakarta City, South Jakarta City, North Jakarta City, Central Jakarta City, and West Jakarta City. This study aimed to analyze the highest and lowest distribution of UHI based on the Land Surface Temperature (LST) algorithm and using the overlay method. Data were collected through literature study and analysis of Landsat 8 level 2 satellite imagery collection 2 Tier 1 OLI 2. The results of the study showed that high urbanization (population density) affected the average value of CSI to increase so that it was directly proportional to UHI. The non-UHI intensity range ranged from -4 oC to 0 oC, while the areas experiencing UHI had an intensity range ranging from ±0oC to 8.6oC. The city with the highest intensity was estimated to be in the East Jakarta City area while the lowest was in the Central Jakarta area.

Abstract

The Semeru Volcano eruption on December 4, 2021 caused damage to social, economic and environmental aspects. The Rejali Watershed (DAS) is one of the areas severely affected due to the eruption. The eruption resulted in 51 deaths, 10,565 displaced people, 1,027 houses damaged, two connecting routes and 43 public facilities damaged. This study mapped the disaster risk areas due to the eruption of Semeru Volcano. This research used Laharz to analyze the lava flow hazard map and weighting for social, economic, physical, environmental, and capacity vulnerability parameters. The results showed that the risk level of Semeru Volcano eruption is divided into three classes: high,  medium, and low risk. The high-risk area is 8915.09 Ha (14 %), the medium-risk area is 2174.74 Ha (17 %), and the low-risk area is 1885.60 Ha (69%). The high and medium risks were located on the upper and middle slopes of the Rejali watershed because the upstream area experiences a narrowing of the river flow (bottleneck) due to direct borders with structural land. The Semeru Volcano disaster risk map results can be used as a reference in sustainable risk management efforts in the Rejali watershed to reduce the impact and damage caused by the eruption.

Abstract

This research is aimed at analyzing how the learning media needs of PPG Students of IPS State University of Malang are to the content of LMS based on articulate storyline. The research method uses quantitative descriptives using the angket that has been filled by the graduates of the PPG University of Malaang State University IPS prajab wave II of 2024 of 30 students, the results of the Angket are then analyzed and described in order to obtain desired data about media needs learning media. The result of this survey is that the results of this research show that the students of PPG prajab IPS State University Malang have a significant need for interactive, dynamic, and easily accessible learning media in the teaching learning process. Articulate Storyline-based LMS content was rated highly effective in meeting this need, with a majority of respondents stating that the media facilitates deeper material understanding, increases learning motivation, and allows for more flexible learning. The findings underline the importance of further development and integration of Articulate Storyline into LMS as a means of supporting the success of teacher education by providing a more engaging and adaptive learning experience to student needs. The recommendations of this research encourage the use of innovative technology in learning media design to create a more effective learning environment and support the achievement of student competence

Abstract: The purpose of applying this flipped class learning model is to facilitate students and provide innovation to teachers in the learning process. The strategy of implementing this activity uses the methods used, including lectures, discussions, literature studies. Abstract

Disaster awareness sangat penting dimiliki oleh siswa untuk mengurangi resiko bencana. Pada proses pembelajaran disaster awareness di sekolah pada umumnya masih belum optimal. Penelitian memiliki tujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh geoinformation web technology terhadap disaster awareness siswa sekolah dasar di sekitar Gunung Semeru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasy experiment menggunakan desain pretest posttest one group. Subjek pada penelitian terdiri dari 36 siswa kelas lima SDN Sumberwuluh 2. Pemilihan lokasi penelitian didasari karena merupakan salah satu sekolah dasar yang terdampak langsung erupsi Gunung Semeru. Penentuan subjek dilakukan dengan simple random sampling technique sesuai saran guru di sekolah. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Uji hipotesis penelitian dilakukan dengan Mann Whitney melalui nilai sig. 0,05. Uji hipotesis memperoleh nilai sig. 0,000 0,05. Menunjukkan adanya pengaruh geoinformation web technology terhadap disaster awareness yang didukung dengan perolehan nilai posttest lebih tinggi daripada nilai pretest. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa geoinformation web technology berpengaruh terhadap disaster awareness siswa di sekolah dasar sekitar Gunung Semeru.

Abstract

Kabupaten Pacitan memiliki potensi sumber belajar kesejarahan yang sangat memadai, terutama materi prasejarah. Materi prasejarah atau praaksara menjadi kajian yang selalu masuk dalam kurikulum matapelajara IPS di SMP. Namun, masih banyak guru IPS SMP di Kabupaten Pacitan minim sekali menggunakan situs-situs prasejarah itu sebagai sumber belajar yang diberikan kepada peserta didiknya. Permasalahan umum yang ditemukan adalah akses menuju ke lokasi situs tidak mudah dan perlu mempersipakan waktu khusus serta dana untuk menuju ke setiap situsnya. Teknologi pembelajaran menjadi solusi untuk memangkat keterbatasan ini. Di sisi lain, ternyata tidak semua guru IPS di Kabupaten Pacitan mampu menguasai teknologi pembelajaran berbasis ICT. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari artikel ini adalah: 1) mengindetifikasi penggunaan media pembelajaran IPS khususnya pada materi prasejarah/prakasara yang telah dilakukan oleh guru sebelum mengikuti pelatihan, 2) memaparkan hasil dari pelaksanaan pelatihan digitalisasi potensi situs prasejarah Pacitan. Metode workshop digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan pelatihan ini. Para guru IPS mula-mula diidentifikasi pemahaman mereka mengenai penggunaan media pembelajaran yang selama ini digunakan disekolah, kemudian diberikan pendalaman materi mengenai potensi situs prasejarah di Kabupaten Pacitan dan dikenalkan mengenai alat Drone untuk membuat video pembelajaran. Para guru IPS juga diberikan pelatihan menerbangkan drone dan mempraktikkanya secara langsung. Tahap terakhir pelatihan dievaluasi untuk mengetahui dampaknya pada para guru IPS. Adapun hasil dari artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa guru MGMP IPS Kabupaten Pacitan masuk dalam kategori sering menggunakan media pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran yang digunakan kebanyakan adalah gambar dan video, serta kadang-kadang menggunakan lingkungan sekitar untuk sumber belajar. Hasil pelatihan juga menunjukkan bahwa kualitas materi dan pemateri masuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Pemahaman peserta ada peningkatan dan para guru MGMP IPS masuk dalam kategori mampu untuk menerapkan hasil pelatihan di kelas.
