Abstract

This study aims to describe the validity and effectiveness of the interactive learning media Articulate Storyline 3 on international trade material. The method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation & Evaluation). The data collection technique was carried out by testing the validity of learning media experts and material experts, as well as conducting a media feasibility test on 8th grade junior high school students. From the results of the media validation, it was obtained that this interactive learning media had an average value of 4.35 and could be interpreted as very feasible, and the results of the material validation had a range of X values ​​> 4.6 with a very feasible category. The results of the feasibility test by students had a score of 93% with a very feasible category. Based on the results of the data processing, it can be concluded that the interactive learning media based on Articullate Storyline 3 on international trade material is categorized as very feasible to use.

Abstract

Keterbatasan teknologi dan media pembelajaran geografi menyebabkan siswa kesulitan memahami materi vulkanisme yang abstrak, sehingga diperlukan media yang dapat menvisualisasikan objek dan memberikan pengalaman imersif dalam membantu siswa memahami materi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan produk media pembelajaran Geo-Vulcan Metaverse dan mengevaluasi seberapa layak produk tersebut.  Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi adalah lima langkah dalam model ADDIE yang digunakan untuk pengembangan.  Informasi kuantitatif dan kualitatif dimasukkan ke dalam data yang dikumpulkan.  Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner dan wawancara, serta dokumentasi kegiatan, dengan analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif dalam bentuk persentase. Uji coba kelayakan produk media pembelajaran Geo-Vulcan Metaverse dilakukan pada 36 siswa kelas XI IPS 1 di SMAN 2 Pare. Hasil validasi dari ahli materi menunjukkan persentase 87,78%, sementara validasi dari ahli media mencapai 85,53%, keduanya berada dalam kategori Sangat Layak. Respon guru tercatat sebesar 98,53%, dan pengalaman pengguna dari siswa juga memenuhi semua indikator user experience yang diukur. Siswa sangat tertarik dengan media Geo-Vulcan Metaverse, terlihat dari antusiasme mereka dalam berpartisipasi aktif, bertanya, dan berbagi pengalaman selama eksplorasi. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Geo-Vulcan Metaverse tergolong sangat layak dan dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran geografi, khususnya untuk materi vulkanisme.

Abstract

Erosion was a process that led to decreased land productivity and soil layer depletion. Four factors affected erosion, including erosivity, erodibility, slope and land cover. This study aimed to assess erosion predictions based on the results of field measurements or terrestrial surveys and the RUSLE method. Precet Forest Park was the location of the research facility. Erosion prediction was conducted by measuring slopes using Total Station. The RUSLE technique with five variables was used to calculate erosion values. These factors included the slope factor (LS), plant management index and ground cover vegetation (C), soil erodibility (K), rain erosion (R), and soil conservation measures (P). The calculation results indicated that the erosivity value (R) was 254.5, the K value was 0.46, the average LS value is was 8.39, the C value was 0.1, and the P value  was 0.9. Calculations using the RUSLE method yielded an average value of the amount of eroded soil in Precet Forest Park of 86.37 tons/ha/year with a soil solum depth of >90 cm. Based on the erosion classification, the grade was classified as class II (Medium). In general, erosion was categorized as high to very high in the middle slope areas of the mountain. This was due to land cover characterised by thick vegetation. In addition, the soil management practices also reduced the value of erosion in Precet Forest Park.

Abstract

This study analyzes spatiotemporal changes in land use and land cover (LULC) in Banjarbaru City over a twenty-year period (2002–2022) to examine the reorganization of its urban spatial structure in relation to economic growth, housing demand, and environmental conditions. Multi-temporal land cover data from the GLC-FCS30D dataset were processed on the Google Earth Engine platform, reclassified into seven dominant land-cover categories, and validated using 180 stratified validation points cross-checked against high-resolution satellite imagery. The mapped patterns indicate that built-up areas expanded from a compact urban core into a continuous urban fabric, while plantation and shrubland/forest cover declined substantially and agricultural land increased in spatial extent toward the urban periphery. Open and bare land also expanded as transitional land states associated with ongoing development. These trajectories correspond to broader structural changes documented in regional economic and housing studies, including increased residential land absorption driven by public housing affordability programs and shifts in sectoral economic contribution. The spatial restructuring of green and wetland areas indicates increasing fragmentation and reduced ecological buffering, aligning with research demonstrating declining carbon storage and heightened hydrological sensitivity as vegetated land is converted to urban surfaces. The results present a comprehensive characterization of Banjarbaru’s land transition dynamics and provide a spatial basis for evaluating urban planning, green space management, and sustainability strategies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi siswa terhadap penerapan VI-Karts Education, yaitu inovasi pembelajaran lanskap karst berbasis metaverse menggunakan platform Virbela. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi tahap Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Produk yang dikembangkan berupa media pembelajaran virtual tiga dimensi yang memungkinkan siswa mengeksplorasi proses geomorfologi karst secara interaktif. Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan praktisi pendidikan untuk menilai kelayakan konten, tampilan, dan relevansi pedagogis. Hasil validasi menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan sebesar 90,2% (kategori sangat layak), sedangkan hasil uji coba terbatas pada 30 siswa menunjukkan respon positif dengan nilai rata-rata 89,1% (kategori sangat baik). Siswa menilai media ini menarik, interaktif, dan memudahkan pemahaman terhadap konsep karst. Hasil penelitian mengonfirmasi bahwa pembelajaran berbasis metaverse mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan kognitif, kolaboratif, dan reflektif siswa serta mendukung pembelajaran geografi yang kontekstual dan berorientasi pada pengalaman belajar abad ke-21.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology significantly affects various life aspects, notably education. Virtual reality (VR) is a key technology that enables the creation of educational media for historical sites. However, previous research indicates limitations in features and accessibility. This study aims to develop a prototype application called SiCamar (Malang Raya Temple Site) based on VR. Using a research and development (R&D) approach, we applied the ADDIE model, focusing only on the Analysis, Design, and Development stages since the goal was to create a prototype and test its initial feasibility. The needs analysis revealed that users desired to experience the historical site via a VR platform. Essential features identified include 360-degree panoramas, videos, teaching materials, and maps, while necessary learning activities involve virtual tours, video observation, reading materials, and answering questions. In the design phase, the use of AI facilitated the creation of an attractive user interface. User testing results indicate that the SiCamar application effectively enhances user satisfaction, particularly in supporting the learning process.

Abstract

INCREASING THE CAPACITY OF PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS INVOLCANO ERUPTION DISASTER PREPAREDNESS THROUGH DISASTERMITIGATION SIMULATION IN THE MOUNT SEMERU REGION Indonesia ialah salah satu negara yang rawan terhadap bencana erupsi gunung api. Salah satubencana erupsi gunung api yang yang terjadi adalah Gunung Api Semeru Tahun 2021 dan 2022di Kabupaten Lumajang. Dampak letusan Gunung Api Semeru mengakibatkan banyaknya korbanjiwa. Hal itu membuktikan bahwa kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat dalam menghadapiancaman dan risiko bencana gunung api. Dengan demikan pentingnya tindakan untukmeminimalisir dampak akibat bencana yang akan datang kedepannya. Dengan adanya kegiatanpengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh tim pengabdian dari Universitas Negeri Malang dalam program penelitian dan pengabdian Desentralisasi Fakultas Ilmu Sosial sebagaisalah satu solusi untuk meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat dalam mengurangi risiko bencanagunung api. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dengan pembelajaran kebencanaan dan simulasimitigasi bencana gunung api yang dilaksanakan di Desa Sumbermujur Kabupaten Lumajangpada sekolah yang terdampak langsung erupsi Gunung Semeru yakni SDN Sumberwuluh 2.Kegiatan pembelajaran kebencanaan dan simulasi bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuankebencanaan dan pengetahuan simulasi bencana gunung api, serta meminimalisir dampakerupsi Gunung Api Semeru. Metode diakukan dengan 4 tahapan yakni observasi awal,sosialisasi, pelaksanan, dan evaluasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kebencanaandan simulasi bencana perlu rutin dilakukan di sekolah guna memberikan pengetahuankebencanaan sejak dini untuk menghadapi ancaman bencana yang sewaktu waktu dapat terjadi.Dari kegiatan yang dilakukan peserta didik juga mendapatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan dalammelakukan langkah-langkah penyelamatan diri bila terjadi bencana gunung api di sekolah. Indonesia is one of the countries prone to volcanic eruptions. One of the volcanic eruptiondisasters that occurred was the Semeru Volcano in 2021 and 2022 in Lumajang Regency. Theimpact of the Semeru Volcano eruption resulted in many casualties. This proves that the lack ofunderstanding of the community in dealing with the threats and risks of volcanic disasters. Thus,the importance of action to minimize the impact of future disasters. The community serviceactivities carried out by the community service team from the State University of Malang in theDecentralized Research and Service Program of the Faculty of Social Sciences are one of thesolutions to increase community capacity in reducing the risk of volcanic disasters. Thecommunity service activities were carried out with disaster learning and volcano disastermitigation simulations carried out in Sumbermujur Village, Lumajang Regency at a school directlyaffected by the eruption of Mount Semeru, namely SDN Sumberwuluh 2. Disaster learningactivities and simulations aim to increase disaster knowledge and knowledge of volcano disastersimulations and minimize the impact of the eruption of the Semeru Volcano. The method is carriedout with four stages: initial observation, socialization, implementation, and evaluation. The resultsshow that disaster learning and disaster simulation need to be routinely carried out in schools toprovide early disaster knowledge to deal with the threat of disasters that can occur at any time.From the activities carried out, students also gain knowledge skills in carrying out self-rescuesteps in the event of a volcano disaster at school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan pada peserta didik kelas VII-G di SMP Negeri 19 Malang pada materi Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Penelitian ini berdasarkan oleh beberapa pertimbangan yang benar-benar ditemukan pada saat melaksanakan pembelajaran di kelas tersebut. Permasalahan yang ditemukan pada kelas tersebut yaitu masih banyaknya peserta didik yang memiliki hasil belajar kurang memuaskan yaitu dibawah nilai 75. Dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial, terdapat beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan peserta didik mendapatkan nilai hasil belajar yang rendah. Faktor-faktor tersebut meliputi kurangnya pemahaman tentang materi yang telah diajarkan, kurangnya motivasi belajar peserta didik, kegiatan pembelajaran yang kurang menyenangkan dan kurang diminati oleh peserta didik, maupun pembelajaran yang kurang berpedoman pada karakteristik individu setiap peserta didik. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Dengan menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi ini, diharapkan peserta didik dapat memperoleh pemahaman tentang materi yang diajarkan dengan baik dan meningkatkan penguasaan materi yang diajarkan sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Melalui pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi ini, peneliti bertujuan untuk menciptakan kegiatan pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada perbedaan karakteristik setiap peserta didik dalam mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus dan dimana sebelum siklus berjalan hanya terdapat 47% peserta didik yang memiliki nilai diatas 75. Pada siklus pertama, hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial meningkat menjadi 62% dan pada siklus kedua hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat kembali menjadi 88%. Hal tersebut menjukkan bahwa dengan diterapkannya pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of applying this flipped class learning model is to facilitate students and provide innovation to teachers in the learning process. The strategy of implementing this activity uses the methods used, including lectures, discussions, literature studies. The results obtained in this activity make grade IX-G students of Junior High School 16 Malang in social studies learning have sufficient provisions in creating effective classes using a Flipped Class Learning (FCL) learning model.
