Abstract

The grouping system of students in learning can effect on the learning process. This research used a descriptive qualitative method to describe the perspective of students of the Arabic Language Development Program (PKPBA) on the classifying system based on gender, which is divided into homogeneous classes (separate classes between students and college students) and heterogeneous classes (mixed classes of students). Data collection used observation of teaching and learning activities and interviews. The results of the study show a different perspective between men and women. Female students are more comfortable learning in homogeneous classes, especially beginner classes' so they are not ashamed to learn and practice Arabic even though their abilities are minimal. In contrast to the perspective of male students who are more comfortable in heterogeneous classes, they feel they can learn better. Learning feels vibrant and increases academic competitiveness because they are challenged to perform well in front of female students, including when practicing Arabic. To make students learn better and the ability to speak Arabic tends to increase.

Abstract

Shorof is an essential tool in learning Arabic and a prerequisite for mastering Arabic. The problem that is often encountered in the learning process that takes place is the difficulty of students in mastering the material memorization because learning is only centered on lecture theory. The solution to this problem is to provide learning media concept maps which are often referred to as concept mapping. By applying this method, it will affect the ease of students in understanding the material in learning. Based on the research conducted, data differences were obtained between the data on the results of student learning achievements in the study of the students who did not use media concept mapping with those using the concept mapping. That the results of student achievement are better when using these media. Then it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the use of media concept mapping in the study of theorists.

Abstract

Organizational management plays a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness of educational program implementation, particularly in digital-based learning institutions. This study aimed to describe the organizational management practices of a digital Arabic language course at Arabiyahtalks Academy, focusing on program management strategies and the division of tasks within its organizational structure. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed. Data were collected through observations of the official Instagram account @arabiyahtalks, in-depth interviews with the director and program tutors, and supporting documentation. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which involved data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings showed that Arabiyahtalks Academy implemented digital-based management by utilizing platforms such as Google Meet for instruction and Instagram (through feed content, microblogs, and carousels) for promotion and audience engagement. Learning evaluations were conducted using the Kahoot platform. The organizational structure included a clear division of tasks, such as formulating vision and goals, recruiting instructors, developing marketing strategies, and grouping classes based on learners’ proficiency levels.

Abstract

This study describes the management of Arabic language learning programs at Egypt Islamic Boarding and Course Pare, a non-formal educational institution based on boarding schools that integrates intensive courses with a boarding school system; namely how to apply management functions according to George R. Terry's theory, which includes planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising, in supporting the effectiveness of Arabic language learning programs. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that program planning is carried out through the preparation of an internal curriculum, a level placement system (placement test), and recruitment of teaching staff according to needs. The organization of the program can be seen from the neat institutional structure, clear division of tasks between the academic team and the dormitory management, and intensive coordination. The implementation of the program uses direct and communicative methods that are integrated with the daily activities of students in the dormitory system, creating a conducive learning environment (bi'ah lughawiyah). Program supervision is carried out through formative and summative evaluations, daily monitoring, and two-way feedback as part of quality assurance. This study shows that the application of George R. Terry's theory has proven effective in managing Arabic language learning programs in non-formal boarding school-based institutions.

Abstract

Social media has become an important tool for disseminating Arabic educational content, but effective content management strategies on platforms such as Instagram have rarely been studied in depth. This study aims to analyze Arabic content management on the Instagram account @santri_pedia.id using Regina Luttrell's The Circular Model of Social Media Engagement (SOME), which includes the stages of Share, Optimize, Manage, and Engage. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research subject is the @santri_pedia.id account and its management team. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation of account activities, and content documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, focusing on the four main aspects of the SOME model. The results of the study indicate that @santri_pedia.id has implemented most of the SOME principles, particularly in the Share aspect through the adaptation of course materials and Engage through active interactions such as quizzes and polls. Optimization is carried out through insight analysis and community collaboration, but the use of hashtags and content scheduling still needs improvement. Content management is done manually without a structured editorial system, although the division of team roles is clear.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Human Relations approach in program management at Fatimah Azzahra Orphanage Magelang. This approach emphasizes the importance of social and emotional relationships in the work environment as a major factor in improving performance and productivity. Using qualitative methods and a case study approach, this research examines three main aspects: staff job satisfaction and motivation, communication patterns within the organization, and informal group dynamics. The results show that staff motivation at the orphanage is driven more by emotional attachment, social recognition, and a sense of belonging, rather than solely by material incentives. Communication is two-way, open and participatory. Meanwhile, informal groups play an important role in creating a supportive and harmonious work culture. Although this approach has positive impacts, the research also found some challenges, such as the difficulty of maintaining professionalism in emotional relationships, as well as the potential for conflict in informal group dynamics. This study concludes that the application of human relations principles can strengthen the quality of services and effectiveness of social organizations if balanced with strengthening human resource capacity and reflective management.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate an Arabic speaking textbook for rural Islamic school students based on Abraham Maslow’s -humanistic approach. This approach was chosen to address students’ weak speaking proficiency caused by the dominance of traditional teaching methods that emphasize rote memorization and grammar, as well as the lack of opportunities for meaningful and contextual communication. The research applied a Research and Development (R&D) design using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Qualitative information was gathered through observations, interviews, and expert assessments, while quantitative data were collected via pretest–posttest evaluations and questionnaires. The results show that the textbook is highly practical and well-received, with expert validation scores above 85% and positive student responses, including enhanced motivation, participation, and self-confidence in speaking. Statistical analysis revealed significant improvement in the experimental group, with an average N-Gain of 0.72. Overall, the study indicates that a textbook designed with attention to students’ psychological needs—such as security, social connection, and self-esteem—can effectively support the development of Arabic speaking skills in junior secondary students.
