Abstract

This research aims to produce a basic accounting economics e-module based on a scientific approach to increase learning motivation and understanding for students of Vocational High Schools. In addition, this study aims to analyze the feasibility and effectiveness of basic accounting e-modules based on a scientific approach developed based on the results of expert design, material, and student responses. This research applied the Thiagarajan 4-D model through the following steps: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Two model instruments were implemented upon expert judgements; assessment form of content (material) expert and assessment from media expert. To display, all data collected was processed qualitatively and quantitatively. It involved student responses and numerical data (via questionnaires and validation forms) from both experts. The results showed that (1) the development of the Basic Accounting E-Module Based on the Scientific Approach in vocational high school grade X implements the 4D model up to the development stage, (2) the assessment from media design experts obtained is 91%, which means '"very feasible" and the material expert assessment obtained is 92% which means '"very feasible," (3) The results of the responses of class X students of vocational high school in limited trials obtained an average score of 84% with the category "Very Feasible" and in the field, tests obtained an average overall score of 94% with the category "Very feasible." The module can widely impact better content of teaching basic accounting as a measurable guide for prospective school teachers.

Abstract

The world of education receives a fairly high impact due to developments in technology and information. In the 21st century there has been a shift from industrial technology to information technology, so that in the future this causes teachers as educators and essential elements in the field of education to be able to learn new things in the teaching and learning process, including learning innovations. This research will be conducted to see how the challenges and readiness of teachers as educators face the influx of technological changes and innovations in implementing learning. The approach used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach with descriptive analysis methods. This research uses secondary data that comes from the results of research and previous studies. In selecting data, the researcher selects various studies and studies that are still relevant to this research. This study found that the rapid development of technology and information requires educators to keep abreast of technological developments by continuously improving themselves, innovating learning, and adapting to the needs of society. In facing the various challenges that exist in the future, educators need to have various skills in life and career, learning and innovation skills, as well as skills in using media and technology.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using WhatsApp media on students' motivation and learning styles during the Covid-19 pandemic. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research. The subjects of this study were 115 students with a sampling technique that was proportionate stratified random sampling while the data collection technique used was a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using hypothesis testing. The results of this study are that learning using WhatsApp has a positive effect on motivation, especially on the indicators of diligence, punctual, tenacity, courage to ask, curiosity, happy and active. In addition, learning using WhatsApp also has a positive effect on learning styles, especially in the very high visual learning style indicator, but medium auditory learning style, and low kinesthetic learning style because it doesn't require much movement. The conclusion of this study is that the use of WhatsApp media in learning has a positive effect on motivation and learning styles during Covid-19. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine curriculum developers in determining curriculum objectives, learning outcomes, and aspects of the design of English study programs. This research uses the descriptive qualitative method. Data triangulation, observation, interviews, and documentation were used to collect data using a list of questions related to the curriculum and documentation. The result of this finding is that the English department curriculum is by the applicable standards in Indonesia. In designing the language curriculum, there is only one aspect that has not been applied as an indicator in its design, namely environmental analysis

Abstract

The development of digital technology, especially Artificial Intelligence at this time has grown very rapidly and has penetrated into learning technology. One of them is the development of Chat GPT which has begun to be widely used by students and affects the level of student independence. This study aims to examine the effect of the application of Chat GPT on learning education management on student independence. The research method used is a quantitative experiment with One-Group Pre-test and Post-test Design. The population was 40 people and all of them became samples. Data collection techniques are observation and documentation. Data instruments use validity sheets, observation sheets, and documentation. The analysis techniques used are Validity Test, observation data analysis, Prerequisite Test, and Hypothesis Test. The results showed that the application of Chat GPT in learning educational management significantly influenced student independence. In the pre-test, student independence is still in the category of starting to be independent, while in the post-test, student independence increases to be very independent. So, it is concluded that student independence can be increased by the application of Chat GPT in learning education management.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the existence of history, educational value, and semiotic meaning of Lawas Unru by Lalu Manca. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. The results of the study, namely the existence of history and educational values in Lawas Unru are: 1) The contents and message events in Lawas Unru contain resistance and contain messages to always hold on to honesty and trust, because in the end fate will show the truth. 2) The description of the contents of Lawas Unru explains the intended message so that the reader can empathize, 3) The choice of words contains educational values, namely wisdom, honesty, empathy, courage, and humility. The conclusion of the research is that the existence of Lawas Unru still maintains the use of words used in the imperial environment. while its educational value is to help readers gain knowledge and understand the world better, also being able to develop analysis and empathy in life. The real meaning in Lawas Unru is a picture of injustice, resulting in oppression which eventually gave birth to a resistance from the Sumbawa kingdom against the Dutch colonizers. Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the influence of the trainer's motivation and performance on the self-confidence of theater extracurricular members. This research is quantitative research using the Ex-Post-Facto method. The sample in this research was all members of the theater extracurricular, totaling 20 students from grades VII, VIII and IX. The instrument used is a questionnaire sheet. Measurement using a Likert scale. The result of the research is that the trainer's motivation cannot affect the self-confidence of theater extracurricular members. The trainer's performance does not have a direct influence on the self-confidence of theater extracurricular members. The self-confidence of theater extracurricular members cannot be influenced by the motivation and performance of theater extracurricular trainers. This shows that a member's self-confidence which includes independence, confidence in abilities, a sense of courage to argue, and a normal attitude, as well as not being awkward in interactions cannot be influenced by the trainer's own motivation and performance. This conclusion is that the trainer's motivation influences the trainer's performance; The trainer's motivation has no effect on the self-confidence of theater extracurricular members; the trainer's performance has no effect on the confidence of the theater extracurricular members. Abstract

This study aims to determine how covid-19 affects the price of tobacco in the Jerowaru sub-district partially. This research is a type of descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study was 169 tobacco farmers in the Jerowaru sub-district. The sampling technique with random sampling with a sample size of 63. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that Covid-19 has no significant effect on the price of tobacco in the Jerowaru sub-district. This can be known as follows: (1) Based on the partial test (t test) it can be observed that the t value is 0.164 which is smaller than the t table of 1.999 (0.164 1.999). So it can be concluded that covid-19 has no significant effect on the price of tobacco in Jerowaru District; (2) Based on the simple regression test from the output the coefficient of determination (r square) is 0.000, which means that Covid-19 has no significant effect on tobacco prices because the value obtained is 0.000%. As for the lack of effect between covid-19 on tobacco prices, that is because covid-19 focuses on microorganisms or viruses infecting humans or those transmitted from one human to another, so covid-19 focuses on infecting humans instead of infecting tobacco plants.

Abstract

Traditional music is an ancestral form of art in a society that relies on local traditions, language, and culture. One of the preserved traditional music in East Lombok is Klentang, a traditional musical instrument shaped like metal bars played in a musical ensemble. Despite its rapid development, the existence of Klentang remains safeguarded by the East Lombok community. Therefore, this research aims to accompany the production of Klentang musical instruments at Sanggar Patuh Gending to preserve the culture and advance traditional music. The study is conducted using ethnographic methods involving 18 craftsmen and 8 students. The Klentang-making process includes crafting the metal bars and their supports. The metal bars are made by heating and forging steel, followed by tuning the pitches by striking the bars with a hammer. The supports consist of bends and frames made from bamboo and wooden boards. The size and tuning of Klentang are adjusted to the diatonic tuning system intervals to produce harmonic sounds. Crafting Klentang requires skill and precision to create high-quality musical instruments. By executing this process effectively, Klentang can produce beautiful and harmonious sounds when played, ensuring the continuity and preservation of traditional Klentang music.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the context, input, process, and product of a character education program based on school culture. The research design used is an evaluative model. Oral and written data were obtained from interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. The analysis uses 4 stages, namely, data display data reduction and conclusion drawing. Text and discourse interpretation techniques with critical hermeneutic methods. The results and conclusions of this study are Context evaluation aspects which include components of program planning, needs analysis, and determination of program implementation objectives have been carried out well, but in terms of determining the priority of the main values and the stage of socializing the priority of the program's main values, it is not optimal. Aspects of evaluation Input include components of standard qualifications for principals, program design, qualifications of educators and education staff, and support from parents and guardians, curriculum development at the education unit level has been carried out well, but the carrying capacity of infrastructure is still inadequate. Aspects of product evaluation and internalization of the main values of character education have shown good results.
