Abstract

This study aims to describe the context, input, process, and product of a character education program based on school culture. The research design used is an evaluative model. Oral and written data were obtained from interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. The analysis uses 4 stages, namely, data display data reduction and conclusion drawing. Text and discourse interpretation techniques with critical hermeneutic methods. The results and conclusions of this study are Context evaluation aspects which include components of program planning, needs analysis, and determination of program implementation objectives have been carried out well, but in terms of determining the priority of the main values and the stage of socializing the priority of the program's main values, it is not optimal. Aspects of evaluation Input include components of standard qualifications for principals, program design, qualifications of educators and education staff, and support from parents and guardians, curriculum development at the education unit level has been carried out well, but the carrying capacity of infrastructure is still inadequate. Aspects of product evaluation and internalization of the main values of character education have shown good results.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interaction in the family on the independence of early childhood. The type of research used in this study is a type of quantitative research using the experimental method. The research design used is a pre-experimental design in the form of a One-Group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study were the entire group B of the Islamic Kindergarten, totaling 15 children. The instruments used to collect data are validation sheets, observation sheets, and documentation. The results showed that children's independence during the pre-test amounted to 214 with an average percentage of 31% and in the category of assessment Starting to Develop (MB) and after being given treatment or (treatment) then held a posttest obtained the independence of all children, namely 585 with an average of 97% and the assessment category Developing Very Well (BSB). In addition, it can also be seen from the results of the hypothesis test t-count ≥ t-table difference (7.3131) ≥ (2.145) at a significant level of 0.05 so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, so between the pre-test and post-test results are significant.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the sacredness of Sarone music in wedding ceremonies within the Tanjung Luar village community, Keruak Subdistrict, East Lombok Regency. The research employs a qualitative ethnographic method. Data collection is carried out through literature review, observation, interviews, and documentation. Data are analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. To ensure data validity, triangulation techniques are utilized. The research findings reveal that the sacredness of Sarone music in wedding ceremonies in Tanjung Luar village encompasses elements such as origins, rituals, Sarone heirlooms, taboos, instruments, songs, and Mancak. Sarone music is considered a form of respect for ancestors, a link to cultural heritage, a means of preserving tradition's sanctity, and an integral part of the cultural identity of the Tanjung Luar village community. While the community has diverse perspectives, they all emphasize the importance of maintaining the strong tradition and cultural values associated with Sarone music. In conclusion, Sarone music possesses sacred elements like its history, heirlooms, taboos, instruments, songs, and Mancak dance, which create a sacred atmosphere and are used in the sequence of wedding events and rituals as a form of tribute to ancestors and the preservation of the cultural identity of the Tanjung Luar village community.

Abstract

This study aims to examine Maulanasyaikh's daily speech acts, including when giving recitations, interacting with the community, and family, in politics and government, and other speech acts that have character values for the younger generation. In addition, this study also aims to understand the values contained in Maulanasyaikh's speech acts. This research was conducted in the village of Pancor Bermi Village, Selong District, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, four months from March to June 2022. Using a qualitative approach with the historical method, this research focuses on the value of speech acts of TGKH Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid (Maulanasyaikh). This approach allows data collection from in-depth written or oral words. The historical method involves the steps of heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results of this study reveal Maulanasyaikh's speech acts in various contexts, including interacting with students, in the social sphere, towards the congregation, in politics, and towards his family. Maulanasyaikh demonstrated politeness, caring, and teaching moral and ethical values in his communication and actions in various aspects of his life.

Abstract

The theatre is one of the performing arts fields that display human behavior on stage. Human life is represented through stories, dialogues, and the behavior of the characters. One of the styles in theatre art is object theatre. Object theatre involves manipulating objects to give life to the objects used so that there is a reciprocal play between the player and the object. Object theatre itself is still relatively new in Indonesia, aiming to introduce object theatre to the public. The target of this activity is Bermi Youth, Pancor Village aged 17-20 years. Teenagers can become a faster medium for disseminating information to the next generation. The activity was held for four months with a total of 14 participants. The training methods used in this activity are workshops, training assistance, and performances at the Pengadangan Village hall, which was the earthquake's location in 2018. The activity results showed that the trainees were able to stage object theatre performances and control themselves during the show by not stealing the show.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the stages of learning in the concept of lifelong education, the role of education in lifelong education, building interest in digital literacy in learning, and realizing lifelong education through digital literacy skills. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data used were the results of observations and interviews taken randomly in several primary and secondary schools in the East Lombok district. Data triangulation: observation, interviews, and documentation were used in data collection and data verification. The interactive model was used to analyze the data using data collection, data compaction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are that the stages of the concept of lifelong education do not only occur in formal environments but in informal and non-formal environments. The role of language education in lifelong education is that the more a person studies and learns a language well, the better the cultural principles that will be held. Building interest in digital literacy in language learning by getting used to reading in assignments using electronic equipment. Efforts to realize lifelong education through digital literacy skills by promoting learning independence among fellow community members as a parameter of sustainable social development. Abstract

This study aims to describe the relationship between anxiety levels and motivation to learn singing with thematic movements in early childhood. This type of research is ex post facto type causal research or correlation research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were children aged 5-6 years as many as 30 children. The sampling technique used in this study was Simple Random Sampling with group A at NW Pancor Kindergarten as a research sample of 15 children. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Pearson product-moment correlation. The results showed that there was a negative correlation between the level of anxiety and motivation to learn singing with thematic movements of students because r-count> r-table which is 0.85> 0.482, which means Ho is rejected. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant relationship between anxiety levels and motivation to learn singing with thematic movements in early childhood at NW Pancor Kindergarten, which indicates that the learning approach is effective in increasing learning motivation and reducing children's anxiety levels. Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of teachers' directive speech acts in students' character-building during the learning process. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Primary data was collected in the form of speech from teachers in the form of directive speech acts. Primary data sources were obtained through direct observation or observation in the field. Secondary data were collected by recording. The subjects in this study were 11 subject teachers. Secondary data sources were obtained through documentation and direct recording. Data analysis went through six steps, including data collection, data simplification, data presentation, data classification, data interpretation, and conclusion drawing. In this study, the interaction conditions observed include: when entering the classroom, when starting the lesson, during the lesson, when the teacher gives assignments to students when the teacher asks for assignments from students, when the teacher asks students to correct the assignments, when concluding the lesson, and when ending the lesson. The conclusion is that the most dominant directive speech acts used are invitations, orders, and requests. The characteristics formed include discipline, religion, respect, curiosity, enthusiasm, responsibility, independence, hard work, collaboration, caring, and honesty. Abstract

This study aimed to explain and prove the causal relationship between parents' education level and parenting. This research was conducted in one of the PAUD schools in East Lombok Regency. The research method used was quantitative with the type of ex post facto correlational research. The population used was the parents of 20 students who were taken using a non-probability sampling technique. Data collection techniques used observation, documentation, and closed questionnaires. Data processing was carried out using statistical analyses such as validity, reliability, and prerequisite analysis tests with t-tests to test hypotheses. The resulting data is then entered into the preparation table to find the value of X, Y, X2, Y2, and XY. The results of this study are, the higher the level of education of parents, the better their understanding of providing parenting to children, while the lower the level of education of parents, the lower the parents' understanding of parenting. Democratic parenting is the most common parenting pattern applied in PAUD compared to authoritarian and permissive parenting and is considered the best parenting pattern because it can shape children into individuals who trust others, take responsibility for their actions, are not hypocritical, and are honest. It is concluded that parents' education level significantly influences early childhood parenting in PAUD. Keywords: early childhood, parenting orientation, education level

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah sebagai sistem kontrol terhadap kinerja operator sekolah. Penelitian ini merupakan  kuantitatif dimana penelitian kuantitiatif merupakan penelitian yang menggunakan astatistik sebagai alat analisisnya. Pengumpulan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Kuesioner yang terdiri dari 45 item pertanyaan digunakan untuk memperoleh data mengenai gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 26 operator sekolah dasar yang ada di Kecamatan Sambelia. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana menggunakan SPSSm 20.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa  nilai korelasi  (R)  sebesar 0,994 dan nilai koefisien korelasi (R Square) sebesar 0,988 yang memberikan makna bahwa besarnya pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja operator sekolah adalah 98% dan sisanya adalah pengaruh dari faktor lain, selain itu besarnya nilai F hitung = 1987,954 dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, dengan demikian model regresi dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi variabel kinerja operator sekolah, dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara variabel kepemimpinan kepala sekolah (X1) terhadap variabel kinerja operator sekolah (Y).
